I chose Roses and Birds Number 5 by Kiki Smith as my western piece and for my non western piece I
chose a Spanish Colonial piece called Ornaments. I was originally drawn to Roses and Birds Number
5 because of the thin lines, the flowers, and how its fragility added an aura of femininity. Upon closer

systems to provide decision making strategies that are efficient and effective.
The restaurant management system is a type of software applied to monitor and manipulate the

1) Introduction:
The purpose of this paper is to analyse my observations of a child s development that I was able to
observe. This paper is about child observation on different domains such as Physical Development,
Language Development, Cognitive Development and Social and Emotional Development. Each
domain contains a description of child during the recorded observation.
I described below about the characteristic of the child s development. The purpose of observing the
young child is to guide and enable teachers to provide appropriate, critical guidance based on the child
needs, and to provide objective, insightful feedback and engage parents in their child s development.
2) Subject of this study
I observed a child, Trisha (coded name) of four years and three months old at the time of observation.
She is studying in Nursery 2 with 9 other children and a teacher in charge. She has a 7 year old
brother. She is Chinese and speaks in Mandarin most of the time. Trisha is 103 cm and 18 kg.
3) Method
I used a naturalistic observation technique to collect data. It enables me to observe and records what
