Daniel Locking explored using new computer technologies like interactive whiteboards, web tools, and portals to help social science teachers collect and analyze fieldwork data. He identified tools like Tripline, Fototagger, Gapminder and Worldmapper for teaching Australia's regional and global links. Participating in the Loreto 5 program helped Daniel develop his skills with the school portal, Sharepoint, SMART notebook and other applications, providing benefits to the social science faculty like new ways to integrate technology into fieldwork and teaching.
