To create text on a black and white background in Photoshop: select the color range tool to adjust the color you want to keep, invert the selection to delete the rest; choose a font from DaFont.com, enlarge the text and take a screenshot; crop the text in a paint program and drag it into the Photoshop file, placing it on the page and deleting the white background.

1. ‘select ‘ the go to ‘colour range’ and select the colour that you need to keep, adjusting the fuzziness. This will make the area of
the colour bolder so that you can change a lager amount.

2. After selecting the colour, go to ‘select’ then ‘inverse’ to be able to delete the rest to have the black and white background.

3. Go to DaFont.com and select a font that you like.

4. After you have slected the font that you want to use and have types the wording in that you would like zoom into
the page to make the font as big as you can then print screen it.

5. After you have done that open it up in a paint
document and crop the text out of the picture. 
Then drag the saves file over to your
Photoshop document.

6. Place the text where ever you want it on your page and then delete the white background so that you can add effects to it and the white
does not show up on your picture.
