The Book of Joshua is the sixth book in the Hebrew Bible and the Old Testament, and is the first book of the Deuteronomistic history, the story of Israel from the conquest of Canaan to the Babylonian exile.
In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…

Lev 15
13 And when he that hath an issue is cleansed of his issue;
then he shall number to himself seven days for his
cleansing, and wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in
running water, and shall be clean.
Leviticus 15:13 Notice how it was recorded over fourteen
hunderd years before Christ that “running water” is more
sanitary than mere bathing. “Science” didn’t catch up with
this truth until after the Dark Ages.

17 And there shall be no man in the tabernacle of the
congregation when he goeth in to make an atonement in
the holy place, until he come out, and have made an
atonement for himself, and for his household, and for all
the congregation of Israel.
Leviticus 16:17 The high priest had to enter the
tabernacle alone and then make the blood atonement in
the holy of holies, picturing the fact that Christ alone can
atone for our sins (Heb. 9:7; 1:3).
2. Heb 9:7 But into the second went the high priest
alone once every year, not without blood, which he
offered for himself, and for the errors of the people:
Heb 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and
the express image of his person, and upholding all
things by the word of his power, when he had by
himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand
of the Majesty on high;

27 And the bullock for the sin offering, and the goat for
the sin offering, whose blood was brought in to make
atonement in the holy place, shall one carry forth without
the camp; and they shall burn in the fire their skins, and
their flesh, and their dung.
Leviticus 16:27 The expression “without the camp”
reminds us of the sufferings of Christ. Hebrews 13:11-13.
Heb 13:11-13 11 For the bodies of those beasts,
whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the
high priest for sin, are burned without the camp. 12
Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the
people with his own blood, suffered without the
3. gate. 13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without
the camp, bearing his reproach.

7 And they shall no more offer their sacrifices unto devils,
after whom they have gone a whoring. This shall be a
statute for ever unto them throughout their generations.
Lev 17:7 The Hebrews had engaged in devil worship in
times past and other passages give us to understand they
would do so again (Ezekiel 20:5-9; 23:9, Joshua 24:14).
Ezek 20:5-9 5 And say unto them, Thus saith the
Lord GOD; In the day when I chose Israel, and lifted
up mine hand unto the seed of the house of Jacob,
and made myself known unto them in the land of
Egypt, when I lifted up mine hand unto them,
saying, I am the LORD your God; 6 In the day that I
lifted up mine hand unto them, to bring them forth of
the land of Egypt into a land that I had espied for
them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory

Jewish law, this is also a very early warning against taking
the mark of the beast.
The Dictionary of Cults, Sects, Religions and the
Occult, writes of the power of the blood and it’s
connection to Satanism and the occult.

Mark chapter 5 contains the familiar account of the devil-
possessed man of Gadera. Notice in verse 5, among the
demonic acts, and a tell-tale sign of possession – cutting
himself with stones.
Under the definition of "Satanism", the highly-
acclaimed, Encyclopedia of American Religions, lists among
the activities performed by Satanists is "blood letting":
There’s no question that tattoos originated from the
satanic ritual of blood-letting and cutting of the flesh as
described in 1 Kings 18.
In fact, in Leviticus 19:28, where the Lord clearly condemns
the tattoo, "Ye shall not make any . . . print any marks

. . Obviously, by the context, the Lord connects the
forbidden "marks" or tattoo, – "Ye shall not make
any cuttings in your flesh. . ." (more on Leviticus 19:28
later)

the blood-letting tattoo procedure:

was Dr. W.D. Hambly’s, The History of Tattooing And It's
Significance. Author Steve Gilbert, in his popular Tattoo

ancient rites of scarification and bloodletting. . ."

TATTOO: THE MARK OF REBELLION
The Bible, from cover to cover, condemns rebellion. The
Lord God considered rebellion so serious – He compared
rebellion to witchcraft. And may I remind you, witchcraft
was punishable by death!

This is a tattoo that I have had for about six years. In December I noticed
some changes in it and decided to have it looked at. Biopsy came back as a
type of skin cancer. The red pigment in the tattoo calledcinnabar attacked
my immune system so I have to have it removed either in a series of three
surgeries or one time removal with a skin graft. My point for this is make
sure if you get a tattoo that you think of all of the things that can go wrong
and how your body couldbe potentiallydisfiguredfrom it. Please be aware
