Matt 10
24 The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.
25 It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as
his lord. If they have calledthe master of the house Beelzebub, how much
more shall they call them of his household?
2Sam 11:11 And Uriah said unto David, The ark, and Israel, and
Judah, abide in tents; and my lord Joab, and the servants of my lord,
are encampedin the open fields; shall I then go into mine house, to
eat and to drink, and to lie with my wife? as thou livest, and as thy
soul liveth, I will not do this thing.
Luke 6:40 The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is
perfect shall be as his master.
John 13:16 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater
than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.
John 15:20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is
not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also
persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
Heb 12:2-4 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our
faith; who for the joy that was set before him enduredthe cross,
despisingthe shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne
of God.

2Kgs 1:1-3 1 Then Moab rebelledagainstIsrael after the death of
Ahab.
2 And Ahaziah fell down through a lattice in his upper chamber that
was in Samaria, and was sick: and he sent messengers, and said unto
them, Go, enquire of Baalzebubthe god of Ekron whether I shall
recover of this disease.
3 But the angel of the LORD said to Elijah the Tishbite, Arise, go up to
meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say unto them, Is it
not because there is not a God in Israel, that ye go to enquire of
Baalzebubthe god of Ekron?
Matt 9:34 But the Pharisees said, He casteth out devils through the
prince of the devils.
Matt 12:24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow
doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebubthe prince of the devils.
Matt 12:26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself;
how shall then his kingdom stand?
Matt 10
26 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothingcovered, that shall not be
revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.
27 What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in
the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.
28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul:
but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we
in this world.
18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because
fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
Isa 51:12 I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou
shouldest be afraidof a man that shall die, and of the son of man which
shall be made as grass;
Isa 57:11 And of whom hast thou been afraidor feared, that thou hast
lied, and hast not remembered me, nor laid it to thy heart? have not I
held my peace even of old, and thou fearest me not?
Isa 66:23-24 23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to
another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship
before me, saith the LORD.
24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that
have transgressedagainstme: for their worm shall not die, neither shall
their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorringunto all flesh.
Matt 8:26 And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith?
Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great
calm.
Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, andthe abominable, and
murderers, and whoremongers, andsorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars,
shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone:
which is the second death.

Neh 9:20 Thou gavest also thy good spirit to instructthem, and
withheldestnot thy manna from their mouth, and gavest them water
for their thirst.

4. Matt 10:19-20 19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought
how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same
hour what ye shall speak.
20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which
speaketh in you.
Luke 12:12 For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what
ye ought to say.
John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the
Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring
all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
1John 2:27 But the anointingwhich ye have receivedof him abideth
in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same
anointingteacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and
even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul:
but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and bodyin hell.
The “Body” is not the “Soul”:
Job 12:10 In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the
breath of all mankind.
Job 14:22 But his flesh upon him shall have pain, and his soul within
him shall mourn.
Job 33:18 He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from
perishingby the sword.
1Thess 5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I
pray God your whole spiritand soul and body be preserved
blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The soul has a bodily shape:
Luke 16:19-24 19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed
in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuouslyevery day: 20 And
there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laidat his gate,

5. full of sores, 21 And desiringto be fed with the crumbs which fell
from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his
sores. 22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried
by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was
buried; 23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth
Abrahamafar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24 And he cried and
said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he
may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am
tormented in this flame.
2Cor 12:1-4 1 It is not expedientfor me doubtless to glory. I will
come to visions and revelations of the Lord. 2 I knew a man in Christ
above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or
whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one
caught up to the third heaven. 3 And I knew such a man, (whether in
the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) 4 How that
he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which
it is not lawful for a man to utter.
Rev 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar
the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the
testimony which they held:
In the O.T. the soul is attached to the body:
Gen 19:20 Behold now, this city is near to flee unto, and it is a little
one: Oh, let me escape thither, (is it not a little one?) and my soul
shall live.
Josh 10:35 And they took it on that day, and smote it with the edge
of the sword, and all the souls that were therein he utterly destroyed
that day, accordingto all that he had done to Lachish.
Ezek 18:4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also
the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.
N.T. (Church-age) salvation cuts the soul free from the body:

6. Col 2:11-13 11 In whom also ye are circumcisedwith the
circumcision made withouthands, in putting off the body of the sins
of the flesh by the circumcisionof Christ:
12 Buriedwith him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him
through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raisedhim from
the dead.
13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your
flesh, hath he quickened together with him, havingforgiven you all
trespasses;
The soul of a man is his “ego” or “I am” or personality; this is his unique
property that is differentfrom the “spirit of man” which simply makes him
human vs. an animal
Eccl 3:21 Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the
spirit of the beast that goeth downwardto the earth?
1Cor 2:10-14 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit:
for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11 For
what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which
is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit
of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the
spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely
given to us of God. 13 Which things also we speak, not in the words
which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth;
comparingspiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man
receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness
unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually
discerned.
Matt 10
29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall
on the ground without your Father.

7. 30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.
32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess
also before my Father which is in heaven.
33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before
my Father which is in heaven.

Luke 12:6 Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one
of them is forgotten before God? (simply the normal sales pitch spend
more get a “better deal”)
29 …and one of them shall not fall on the groundwithout your Father.
30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered
God is not only the creator of all thing but the “manager”of every detail of
his creation. His keen interest in birds and the hairs of you head should be
a strong warningthat how he prescribes man worshiphim had better be
adheredto he is aware.
1Sam 16:7 But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his
countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused
him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the
outwardappearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.
Ps 50:23 Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that
ordereth his conversation arightwill I shew the salvation of God.
Ps 51:17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a
contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
Ps 66:18 If I regardiniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:
Matt 15:9 But in vain they do worshipme, teachingfor doctrines the
commandments of men.

8. John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worshiphim must worship
him in spiritand in truth.
32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess
also before my Father which is in heaven.
33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before
my Father which is in heaven.
Gen 15:8 And he said, Lord GOD, wherebyshall I know that I shall
inheritit?
Gen 15:13 And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed
shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them;
and they shall afflictthem four hundredyears;
Rom 8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs
with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also
glorifiedtogether.
1Cor 6:9-11 9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit
the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor
idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves
with mankind,
10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor
extortioners, shall inheritthe kingdom of God.
11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are
sanctified, but ye are justifiedin the name of the Lord Jesus, and by
the Spirit of our God.
Eph 5:5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person,
nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the
kingdom of Christ and of God.
Col 3:24 Knowingthat of the Lord ye shall receive the rewardof the
inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
2Tim 2:11-13 11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him,
we shall also live with him:

13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.
Heb 12:17 For ye know how that afterward, when he wouldhave
inheritedthe blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of
repentance, though he sought it carefullywith tears.
Matt 10
34 Thinknot that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send
peace, but a sword.
35 For I am come to set a man at variance againsthis father, and the
daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother
in law.
36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and
he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy
of me.
39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my
sake shall find it.
Problem of “Peace” and “a sword” agreement:
Luke 2
14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
Jesus did not come to bring peace, he is peace. Accept him and you have
peace reject him and you get the “sword of the Lord”. (Rev. 1:16)
In the Bible Peace is connectedwith-
God: Phil 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall
keep your hearts and minds through ChristJesus.

10. Col 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye
are calledin one body; and be ye thankful.
Obedience toGod: Rom 2:4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness
and forbearance andlongsuffering; not knowingthat the goodness of God
leadeth thee to repentance?
Rom 2:10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good,
to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
Gal 6:16 And as many as walk accordingto this rule, peace be on them,
and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.
Faithin the blood atonement of Jesus: Rom 5:1 Therefore being justifiedby
faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
Eph 2:14-15 14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath
broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
15 Having abolishedin his flesh the enmity, even the law of
commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain
one new man, so making peace;
The Holy Spirit: Rom 8:6 For to be carnallyminded is death; but to be
spirituallyminded is life and peace.
Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering,
gentleness, goodness, faith,
The returnand reignof Jesus: Isa 9:6-7 6 For unto us a child is born, unto us
a son is given: and the governmentshall be upon his shoulder: and his
name shall be calledWonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The
everlastingFather, The Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon
the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it

11. with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of
the LORD of hosts will perform this.
Mic 5:5 And this man shall be the peace, when the Assyrian shall come into
our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against
him seven shepherds, and eight principal men.
Zech 9:10 And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from
Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace
unto the heathen: and his dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and
from the river even to the ends of the earth.
Luke 2:14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will

The restorationof Israel: Ps 125:5 As for such as turn aside unto their
crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity:
but peace shall be upon Israel.
Isa 66:12 For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a
river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowingstream: then shall ye suck,
ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees.
Jer 33:6-7 6 Behold, I will bringit health and cure, and I will cure them,
and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.
7 And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return,
and will build them, as at the first.
Ezek 37:25-26 25 And they shall dwell in the landthat I have given unto
Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell
therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever:
and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.
26 Moreover I will make a covenantof peace with them; it shall be an
everlastingcovenantwith them: and I will place them, and multiply them,
and will set my sanctuaryin the midst of them for evermore.
Hag 2:9 The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former,
saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD
of hosts.

12. A perversionof the Anti-Christ: Jer 6:14 They have healedalso the hurt of
the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no
peace.
Dan 8:25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his
hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy
many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be
broken without hand.
Dan 11:21 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they
shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably,
and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.
Dan 11:24 He shall enter peaceablyeven upon the fattest places of the
province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his
fathers' fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches:
yea, and he shall forecast his devices againstthe strong holds, even for a
time.
Ps 55:20 He hath put forth his hands against such as be at peace with him:
he hath broken his covenant.
1Thess 5:1-3 1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no
need that I write unto you.
2 For yourselves know perfectlythat the day of the Lord so cometh as a
thief in the night.
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction
cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not
escape.
Is never the efforts of Gentile nations: Isa 48:22 There is no peace, saith the
LORD, unto the wicked.
Ps 9:17 The wickedshall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget
God.
Peace is not a product tobe procured;it is a byproduct of God:

13. Jer 33:6-7 6 Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them,
and will reveal unto them the abundanceof peace and truth.
7 And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return,
and will build them, as at the first.
Jer 8:15 We looked for peace, but no good came; and for a time of
health, and behold trouble!
There will be no permanent peace on earthuntil the Lord Fights for Jerusalem:
Heb 7:2 To whom also Abrahamgave a tenth part of all; first being by
interpretation Kingof righteousness, and after that also King of Salem,
which is, King of peace;
Ps 110:4-6 4 The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest
for ever after the order of Melchizedek.
5 The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his
wrath.
6 He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead
bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.
Ps 76:2-3 2 In Salem also is his tabernacle, andhis dwellingplace in Zion.
3 There brake he the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the
battle. Selah.
Hag 2:9 The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former,
saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD
of hosts.
Zech 14:1-3 1 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be
divided in the midst of thee.
2 For I will gather all nations againstJerusalemto battle; and the city shall
be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the
city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be
cut off from the city.

14. 3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight againstthose nations, as when he
fought in the day of battle.
Hab 3:11 The sun and moon stood still in their habitation: at the light of
thine arrows they went, and at the shiningof thy glitteringspear.
Isa 9:4 For thou hast broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his
shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian.
