Architectural photography is the photographing of buildings
and structures.

Fashion photography is a
genre of photography
devoted to displaying
clothing and other fashion
items.
Fashion photography is
most often conducted on
the runway at shows, or for
advertisements or fashion
magazines such as Vogue,
Vanity Fair, or Elle.

11. F I N E A R T
Photography that is created
to express the artist's
imagination and emotions.
Photography that is leans
more towards being
“created” than just shot;
staged.
Serves an artistic purpose
rather than commercial or
for documentation.

Landscape photography shows spaces within the world.
Typically captures vast spaces of nature but can also focus on man-made
features such as cityscapes; very little “human contact”.

Can blend into other types

Trying to capture the expression,

The focus of the photograph is
usually the person's face,
although the entire body and the
background or context may be
included.
Typically associated with being
shot in a studio, however, can mix
with street/lifestyle.

Photography that aims to capture
candid social situations in public
places.
What differs street photography
from lifestyle is the fact that a
human subject doesn’t need to
be the focus and typically photos
are not staged.

Photography to showcase locations,
destinations, and to help illustrate travel
