ignorance is represented by the church and most of its members. Many of these figures stay

2001 film is not much different from how I read the play myself. That is until I reached the end
of the film. Things became seemingly different from what I would have expected. The 1952 and
1986 interpretations of Oscar Wilde s play were more elegant than the 2001 film. My reaction to
this version was much different from my initial perspective. This interpretation of the play
seems to be presented in a more serious and dramatic manner. In what ways did both
interpretations change the original? Was it a change for the better or worse in your opinion?
The 2001 interpretation of Oscar Wilde s play seemed to be portrayed similarly to how I
originally perceived. However, there are a few comedic scenes added for the enjoyment of the
audience. The film portrays Miss Prism running away and fainting due to a shock of grief endured
so unexpectedly. The scene makes for an exaggerated yet amusing scene. In my opinion, this scene
made the interpretation better. In fact, her running away build excitement and curiosity up. I also
enjoyed the scene of John and Algernon serenading the girls, in hopes that they would come down

My Interaction With The Mojave Desert
My connection with nature that were unveiled during my observations can be summarized in
