Advantages Of Binary Options
correcttrade.net What Are Binary Options? Guide for Newbies August 3rd, 2016
Headline: What Are Binary Options A Complete Guide for the Newbies
Unlike conventional forms of trading, binary options trading is a fairly simple way to earn high
payouts within a short time period. Traders choose an asset (e.g. Apple stock, Gold, GBP/USD
currency pair, S P 500 index), decide on a trade amount, and predict whether the asset price will go up
or down at the expiration time. If the trader predicts that the asset value would rise at the expiration
time, he executes a Call option. On the contrary, he places a Put option if he predicts the asset price
will fall. He gets a pre determined payout if his prediction is correct. If the prediction is incorrect, he
loses a part of his investment.
What are the advantages of binary options?
Binary options trading offers several advantages in contrast to the traditional forms of trading. Here s
a thorough analysis:

These include the stocks of multi national companies, indices across the world, major currency pairs,
and popular commodities. A platform such as correctrade offers more than 120 assets from different
asset categories. A greater number of assets enable a trader to diversify his trading portfolio by
executing trades on multiple assets simultaneously.
Extended trading hours: Another advantage of binary options trading is the ability to enjoy extended
trading hours. Brokers who offer a wide range of assets enable the traders to trade around the clock, as
the U.K, U.S., and the Asian markets do not open and close at the same time and have different
trading hours. This lets the users constantly execute binary options trades on the assets listed at all
these international markets within a span of 24 hours.

The Effect Of Recasts And Prompts On Francophone Learners
Regarding output, Corrective Feedback (CF) caters chance for learners to improve their interlanguage
when interlocutors provide correct input (recast) or attempt eliciting the correct output from learners
(prompt). Ammar and Spada (2006) conducted research to compare the effectiveness of recasts and
prompts on Francophone learners of English at different levels. The study focused on the third person
possessive determiners (his and her) which are problematic to French native speakers. After being
instructed the rule and through some practices, learners would be given either recasts or prompts to
errors regarding his and her, or no CF in the control group. Participants were assessed three times: pre
test, immediate post test and delayed post test. The researchers discovered that instruction and
exposure plus CF are more effective than those without CF. No technique is better than the other since
prompts are more effective than recasts for lower proficiency students while high proficiency students
benefit from both equally. Although the study only focused on the binary forms (either his or her), it
suggested that prompts be applied more to improve lower level learners performance. Interaction is a
two way communication under the sociocultural theory promoting consciousness. From Swain and
Lapkin s (1998) study of two grade 8 French immersion students performing a jigsaw task, when
students work out the story line and face linguistic problems, they use L1 and L2 to

Heads shops represent a huge market including states that haven t legalized medical and recreational.

Privacy and Computer Technology
Privacy and Computer Technology
Today, the development of technology is spread all over the world and so are ethical issues. Because
of the widespread, computer ethics are boiling down distinguishing what is good from what is wrong
mentality. Everyone s view on computer ethics differ, however all should keep in mind the value of
ethics when making decisions that are ethics based. The golden rules of computer ethics state that, one
should do to one another what he/she thinks should be done to them and if at least quite a number of
people obey the golden rule, then there would be no many issues concerning computer ethics as they
are today. The computer ethics that surround us presently brought by software, and social networking
sites have plagued the cyber world for many years.
Software Issues Nowadays, most people in the organization are overlooking ethical use of software.
By an organization purchasing any kind of software does not give privileges that they own the
software, and therefore can use it anyhow. Organization should put in mind that they never own any
software, but what they actually have is the license for using the software purchased. It is therefore a
requisite for every organizations and small companies to accept the terms as well as the conditions that
apply upon using software. Accepting the copyright terms guarantees people never to use the
purchased software for anything else other than what is intended to be used for, hence no copies
should be made

Personal Identity And Global Citizenship
Reflecting on Personal Identity and Global Citizenship My normative environment, the Air Force, has
provided me with opportunities to develop my global identity through experiences making me a global
citizen. However, I have also experience individuals that are not globally aware of their impact on a
global scale; these individuals are both Americans and other nationalities. Due to the fact that some
people can be close minded to global citizenship, it is important to educate people about their roles
and duties as a global citizen and not just a national citizen. It starts with a mindset of wanting to help
others, and developing a mutual respect for others cultures and differences and being aware that our
individual actions have ripple ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Additionally, my association with the military alone has not made me a global citizen. After taking
courses such as Adult Development and Life Assessment, Ethics and Moral Reasoning and Informal
Logic, I have been able reflect on who I am as a global citizen. I have analyzed my life and how I fit
into a global society and pinpointed where changes needed to be made. For example, during the Ethics
and Moral Reasoning course I realized that people can develop tunnel vision about their own culture,
to include myself. The world is made up of multiple cultures, and these cultures shape our morals and
ethical beliefs. Through Informal Logic, I can tell when news media is twisting a story for publicity or
political gain, rather than stating the facts. I now look for the facts in the news more closely before
coming to conclusion on the issues at hand. I want to be a part of a solution, not a part of the problem

Hauptmann s Inevitable Demise Throughout history, various cases have not been properly executed in
such a way that rightful criminals are taken to justice (hence the creation of courtrooms). The result of
improper trials have led to the death of innocent lives which is unfortunately not unprecedented. A
trial that epitomizes such unfair charges, leading to the execution of an innocent, was the Lindbergh
Baby Kidnapping Trial. Bruno Richard Hauptmann was not guilty of the murder pertaining to the
Lindbergh s baby; he was wrongly convicted under circumstantial and biased evidence. The
kidnapping of the baby had led to widespread speculations, and caused the case to spread amongst the

The child was confirmed to have to have been that of the Lindbergh family, and his body was already
rotting and mutilated. During the case, there were various ransom notes with similar handwritings
which were used to convict Hauptmann, the case relied on a tremendous amount of evidence [which
included] depositions from eight handwriting experts (Phelan). By having a tremendous amount of
evidence rely merely on handwriting comparisons raises doubts towards the rest of the case s
affirmations. Help was provided from the public as the Lindbergh Kidnapping case became a
sensational media event.... authorities launched an extensive manhunt ( Bruno Hauptmann ). With the
media buzzing, there was going to be publicity and attention to those involved, decreasing the chances
of authentic evidence. With the public involved, there were higher chances that more people would
report false materials (which did happen). Not many had been skeptical of any findings until more
materials arose, and the legitimacy of officials and their findings were questioned. As remorseful as it
is, only after Hauptmann s death was there doubt that began to pass through the minds of the public.
During the time period in which the Lindbergh Kidnapping case took place, there were various
speculations that occurred affecting Hauptmann s chance to an unbiased and fair trial. As stated
earlier, the case had taken place around the time of contention with American and German relations.

Prejudice In The Holocaust
The Holocaust is a prime example of prejudice taken to a catastrophic level. It was a large scale event
almost unparalleled to that of any other in terms of people killed and atrocities committed. Violence
against Jews and their properties were both commonplace and promoted, and anti Semitism among
Nazis and their associates ran rampant. By unlawfully persecuting a particular race through state
sponsored government support, racism flourished and led the way to a rise of an apocalyptic genocide.
With authorization from the Nazi party allocated to its soldiers, troops confiscated Jewish property,
pillaged numerous synagogues and stores, and murdered Jews in a short period of time. Reliable
assistance to the suffering Jews was hard to find because of the Nazis brainwashing of the nation
through abundant propaganda. This kind of widespread discrimination inhibited the Jewish people s
ability to speak out against this obvious prejudice. While these attacks were just the tip of the iceberg
in comparison to later deeds committed by the Nazis, they were still fundamental to the eventual
extermination of the Jewish race. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

How Macbeth Changes Essay
Macbeth is the main character in the play and makes a large impact on the entire storyline. He makes
drastic changes; he changes from good to evil. Many things caused this change to happen.
When the story first starts, Macbeth is a very loyal and respected general in King Duncan s army. In
the second scene we meet a Captain reporting from the battlefield, praising Macbeth; For brave
Macbeth well he deserves that name. Till he fac d the slave, Which ne er shook hands, nor bade
farewell to him till he unseam d him from the nave to th chaps and fix d his head upon our battlement.
To which Duncan replies, O valiant cousin, worthy gentleman. This clearly shows that Macbeth is a
ruthless warrior who would stop at nothing to defend his country. He has high morals and one of his
quotes is I dare do all that may become a man ,Who dares do more is none. (Act I scene vii lines ...

thoughts about Macbeth was the one who killed King Duncan. Macbeth decided to send a murderer to
Macduff s home and kill his family. This would show Macduff that he had better watch out, and it
would scare Macduff. Macduff is horrified to his family getting murdered because of his absence. I
believe that before Macbeth murdered king Duncan he would not have decided to kill innocent women
and children. This shows that he made horrible changes to survive. This is also shown in the novel
Lord of the Flies, when Jack first came to island he couldn t bring himself to kill the pig and even
harm the other animals. However, by the end of the book, he personally tourtured his followers and

Hawaii s Musical Culture And History
While researching the country of Hawaii s musical culture and history I was able to find some very
interesting things that are present in modern Hawaii. From the causes of musical oppression, fight for
independence and revival of Hawaiian culture I will talk about how all of these contributed to the
current culture of Hawaiian drum dance. First I will talk about the history and culture of the Hawaiian
natives and how this has had its effect on Hawaiian music. In 1778, the first European to come to
Hawaii was Captain James Cook. He was a British explorer and discovered Hawaii while he was
exploring the East coast of Australia. When he came to Hawaii he became a symbol of outsider
influence because he opened up trade with North America and ... Show more content on

In later years there would be even more epidemics due to increase in trade which will eventually cut
the population size in half in Hawaii. In the 19th century Hawaii used the form of government called a
monarchy. King Kamehameha I or the Great was the first king to unify all of the islands that made up
Hawaii. King Kamehameha was a very inspiring king for the Hawaiian people. His beliefs and morals
set the tone for what they expected out of future kings in Hawaii. He strongly believed in maintaining
independence from colonial control. He did this by creating alliances with those powers. He supported
a lot of freedoms that the natives had. Such as, religion and religious expression and cultural customs.
With the increase in trade he also tried to preserve the native Hawaiian culture. One way he did this
was by allowing only natives to own land. But decades later this law was taken away. The reason why
I discuss King Kamehameha is because he becomes a symbol in Hawaiian music and they praise him
in their songs because of how favorable he was as a king. After his death, his son took to the throne
and was named King Kamehameha II. Unlike his father, he took a very different path during his reign.
He destroyed almost all of his father s efforts to lead a country of freedom. He took way Kapu which
restricted people to practice their religion and customs as well as destroying their idols and ritual
practices. The Kapu was a system of rules that separated the

Confucius Vs Vietnamese Culture
Presently there are countless cultures in the world. In the midst of all these cultures, I decided to pick
the Vietnamese culture for my assignment. Similar to other East Asian countries, Vietnamese culture is
strongly influenced by Confucianism, a simpler way of life, and the connection within family member
are often reflected by the values embedded in the ideology (Vu, Huy Q., Rook, Karen S. (2013)).
There are quite a few differences in the Portuguese culture in comparison to Vietnamese culture, and
few similarities. I believed that the boundaries in the Vietnamese culture was fascinating, and it
aspired me to research more about this topic.

Rook, Karen S. (2013)). The division of labor between the parents impacts their parenting style and
the socialization of their children (Vu, Huy Q. Rook, Karen S. (2013)).
Discrepancies
Between parents and children, differences in acculturation are a common occurrence in immigrant
families including, the Vietnamese culture (Vu, Huy Q., Rook, Karen S. (2013)). When Vietnamese
immigrated to Western societies, the ethics and manners were incorporated, and was much easier for
the children to focus on then parents (Vu, Huy Q. Rook, Karen S. (2013)). Due to the children finding
the ethics quicker and without difficulty Vietnamese children begin to wander from the traditional
values causing struggles between the two generations (Vu, Huy Q. Rook, Karen S. (2013)).
Intergenerational conflict may perhaps have more dominant with parents and daughters rather than
sons (Vu, Huy Q. Rook, Karen S. (2013)). There is a solution with acculturation and intergeneration
tensions unfortunately, it has received little attention to date (Vu, Huy Q. Rook, Karen S. (2013)).
Social Spaces
Immigrant youth are able to interact with their peers in school, which includes various mixed gender
settings (Stritikus, T., Nguyen, D. (2007)). Parents have a tendency to have stern rules about their
child s actions separate from school making school not only a place intended for learning, but a place
for social interaction as well

Business Process Redesign or Reengineering
Business Process Redesign or Reengineering
Business Process Redesign (BPR) or Reengineering is the fundamental rethinking and radical redesign
of business processes to achieve dramatic improvements in critical, contemporary measures of
performance, such as cost, quality, service, and speed (Hammer and Champy, Reengineering). Since
the BPR idea has surfaced it has been under constant ridicule by the popular press.
They say it takes far too long, creates management headaches, fails 70% of the time, and it s only for
big companies with big checkbooks (Hydrel...). However,
I feel that with the right plan, the right people, and total commitment from those involved, BPR or
Reengineering can work for any company.

This move, however, caused a bit of turmoil in the whole process due to he fact that, many employees

measures and wiped the slate clean. This time, however, the bank knew what it had to do. So this time
TCB moved quickly through the process, and it led to quick results. They began by redesigning the
bank s lines, question certain products, eliminated processes, and apply newer technologies. And
finally a blue print emerged. Which included narrative descriptions of processes, new flowcharts, all
projects cost/benefit analyses, and the implementation of strategies. The benefits of this process were
significant: 16,000 ideas, 1005 projects, 1,100 positions to be terminated, and $43M in reduced
expenses (Betting...). So now that a new plan is in place TCB has taken the appropriate steps to keep
them in working order. The 1,005 recommendations have been assigned to teams within the line of

Symbolism In Hills Like White Elephants And Cross Country...
The decision Between Life and Death of a child is usually a difficult decision. There s usually a
disagreement between both partners whether it takes preparation and dealing with the consequences of
accepting them into their reality. To some this could be a barrier between living life to the fullest of
happiness. Both Ernest Hemingway s Hills Like White Elephants and Cross Country Snow are short
stories about couples who struggles to accept their unborn child to their reality in terms of
responsibility and their future goals. In both of the stories, Jig s Partner and Nick Adams views on
pregnancy are different in terms of dealing with the situation.Hemingway s skills are shown through
both of the short stories and therefore he is considered an expert or a master of short story of all time.

Diverse Role Of Questioning And Dialogic Work In Mathematics
The use of questioning and paired work in Mathematics Traditionally, mathematics and language
based subjects have been seen as occurring on opposite sides of a great divide. However, in recent
years teachers have realised the importance of talk across the curriculum including mathematics. This
is supported by the DfEE (1999a, p11) who state that high quality interactive teaching is oral,
interactive and lively. It is a two way process in which pupils are expected to play an interactive role
by answering questions, contributing points to discussions, and explaining and demonstrating their

Paradoxical Trinity Analysis
The age of the robot warrior machine is looming, and it represents monumental changes in the future
conduct of war. Increased precision and decreased risk make the automation of warriors both
politically and militarily attractive. In the future, government and military leaders will have to address
the numerous moral and ethical questions concerning when, where and how to utilize these lifeless
soldiers. In the past, many leaders relied on the military theory from the Prussian theorist Carl Von
Clausewitz book On War to answer similar questions. Even though his theories have formerly
provided guidance, can the ideas written in the 1800 s, truly be useful when applied to such drastic
changes in the future conduct of war.

Measuring, comparing, or correlating the ever changing interaction between them is impossible. The
only constant is that all three are always in existence, pulling and pushing for an assemblance of
equilibrium. Any attempt to ignore one of them or limit another would render them useless . The
trinity and the absolute existence of the three elements represent the unique unchanging nature of war.
The enduring nature and profoundness suggests that the Holy Trinity (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) may
have influenced Clausewitz, which is undoubtedly also a bias of this author. Many scholars have
argued over its interpretation, especially with regard to the secondary trinity referenced by Clausewitz
as the people, the commander with his army, and the government . One notion that is agreeable to this
author is that the secondary trinity of the people, army, and government was Clausewitz attempt at the
application of the theory. The application in this way also discards the argument that the term war can
only apply a state. Because of this, the elements of his paradoxical trinity can be applied not only to
state actors, but to non state, warlords, gangs, fanatical groups or even individuals. The only
requirement is humans. Other Students of Clausewitz have developed their own simplified

white Australians. However, despite this, all the tribes follow the same religious beliefs. They all go
on Walkabouts, they all sing the songs of the Ancestors, and they all have tjurungas that they view as
sacred. Another aspect of their religion is that they have Kirda and Kutungurlu in each tribe. Kirda is
the owner or boss of the land, while Kutungurlu is the manager or helper of the boss (Chatwin, 98).
The reason this binds the different tribes together is because the Kutungurlu has to be from a different
totemic clan and was a nephew of the Kirda on his mother s side (Ferry, 98). This ensures that the
clans communicate and be at peace with each other, as they are interdependent on the other. Another
aspect of their culture that strengthens feelings of community is the abundance of singing and rituals.
The songs of the Aboriginals tell the stories of their Ancestor walking across Australia, and each
Aboriginal owns a certain part of the song, which also acts as their property deeds. Whenever the
elders decided to sing the whole song, they send word so that all the Aboriginals of that clan gather

What Is An Operating System Essay
Operating Systems What is an operating system The operating system is responsible for controlling all
of the tasks and processes. Operating systems consists of a collection of programs, with each having a
specific task allocated to it. These programs are designed to make the computer system run as
efficiently as possible. The most commonly used operating systems are Mac OS, Windows and Linux.
What Operating systems do · Allow users to interact with the machine (e.g. selecting programs). ·
Allocate space in memory for programs. · Run programs (transfer instructions for memory to

demographic backgrounds (Plessis, 2011). For studying culture of the diverse workforce, there are two
parts to study, the implicit and the explicit culture. The explicit culture includes behavior while the
implicit part involves norms and values of individuals (Guang Trotter, 2012). The explicit culture is
already known when workers stay and work in a firm for a length of time, but the most difficult is to
understand the implicit culture which is obscured in form of norms and values of the workers. Due to
the differences of cultures, workers hold a great potential of variance, variety in terms of their explicit
and implicit parts of the culture. The

Short History Of Progress
A Short History of Progresses is a book written by Ronald Wright and its content is based on a series
of non fiction stories. The lectures are based on five speeches made in Canadian cities as part of
Massey lecture series of 2004 that were broadcast on radio through the CBC program. Therefore, the
House of Anansi Press later published the book the radio speeches. Due to its story concept, the book
A Short History of Progress would become a best seller in Canada for more than a year after its

Natural resources have been existent due to its capacity of regeneration. But we are living at the time
when we are using the natural resources at a rate when compared to natural resources regeneration
rate. Previous civilizations that have already fallen had the luxury of exploiting its natural resources
without fear of extinction. These civilizations lived in the times when they existed expansive spaces

Every organization has risks and it is extremely critical for them to identify what these risks are and to
mitigate and avoid further damages in case of disastrous events. These disastrous events can be
prevented by designing and implementing a robust security monitoring system and utilizing industry
proven practices and activities. Information Security refers to safety of information in terms of
confidentiality, integrity, availability, and non repudiation (Byrnes amp; Proctor, 2002). This document
will provide a clear definition about the security monitoring activities that should be designed and
conducted in an organization that has both internal and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The state monitoring can cover the analysis of security policies, access controls put in place, password
requirements, network security controls, permissions, viruses, and inappropriate files such as
unnecessary image, music, videos, and other multimedia files. The system must also be able to
examine any workstation s current installed applications and determine whether or not updated
versions exist. Any unnecessary or redundant data from the logs must be extracted out as well.
Security monitoring does not just stop at the monitoring level. The security system must be able to
protect the data collected from the security monitoring system itself. Any vulnerabilities and holes will
leave the security monitoring system ineffective and render it useless, especially in cases of
modification and tampering. Tampered data will never result to meaningful conclusions. Activity data
must be confidential and regarded as sensitive. The system must be able to compare negative and
positive data and figure out which priority levels are given to each data and event. Another important
aspect is that the security monitoring systems and activities do not hinder or get in the way of the
business operations (Fry, amp; Nystrom, 2009).
In an event of intrusion or security disaster, a security audit must be put into action immediately to
avoid further damages. The first thing to conduct is to confirm that a security breach or

CANCER
Cancer is defined as group of diseases characterized by uncontrolled growth and division of cells. The
condition also includes spreading of abnormal cells to adjacent healthy sites of the body (1). If this
condition is not controlled it could result in death. Abnormality in cell cycle regulation mechanisms,
uncontrolled cell division, and invasiveness to the healthy tissues are the characteristic features of the
cancer cells. Cells are the structural and functional units of all organisms. All the functions in the body
are carried out by the cells in a well organized and regulated manner. When the cells deviate from

Different types of cancers behave differently based on the site of the origin. For example lung cancer
behaves differently compared to the breast cancer. One important fact to be known is the
characteristics of a cancer is based on its site of origin even it spreads to other tissues, for example
metastatic breast cancer behaves like itself even it spreads into lungs. Cancer can be caused external
factors such as tobacco intake, infectious organisms, and unhealthy life style. Internal factors such as
inheritance, genetic mutations, and immune conditions. These factors may act alone, combine or
sequence to cause cancer. Fig 1 Diagrammatic representation of cancer (2).
In United States, cancer is the second most leading cause of deaths next to cardiac diseases. One in
every four deaths is accounted by the cancer. Nearly 1,658,370 new cases of cancer are expected in
2015. About 589,430 of Americans are expected to die of cancer in 2015 which equals to 1620 people
per day. The five year survival rate for all cancers is 49 % between 1975 1977 which is increased to 68
% between 2004 to 2010 relatively a high percentage increase. The improvements in survival rate
reflect improvements in diagnostic and treatment options.

SAP offers front and back office software and services for rent or purchase through its mySAP.com
exchange, which hosts transactions between SAP clients and their vendors. To catch up with rivals in
this sector, SAP has launched a US subsidiary to build online marketplaces for large companies and
their suppliers. HISTORY Software engineers Hasso Plattner (co chairman and co chairman and co
CEO), Hans Werner Hector, Dietmar Hopp, and Klaus Tschira started SAP in 1972 when the project
they were working on for IBM was moved to another unit. The four agreed to write a program for

automate the various parts of a company s operations, these engineers decided to make a single system
that would tie a corporation together. In 1973 they launched an instantaneous accounting transaction

program to create R/2, mainframe software that linked external databases and communication

The cost includes a onetime purchase fee of the World Tracker unit which is $350 each. An additional

Worldview Reflection Paper
I thought there were a lot of good points made in the first video. The main point however, that I want
to hit on, is the point that morality is relative. I thought the panel in the video did a great job pointing
out the logical fallacy of moral relativism. Depending on the consciousness of the person you are
going to get a host of different moral standards that does not conform to each other. If this kind of
thinking was able to flourish in society, then it would lead to absolute chaos in how our judicial
structure works. At the end of the day there has to be some kind of absolute moral guidance for there
to be any order in a society that actually functions correctly. I really enjoyed the second video as well
and how concisely it was able to explain what a Christian worldview really was. Out of that video I
was able to get a better grasp and comprehension on the importance of having a Christian worldview.
Everyone on planet earth has a worldview of some kind. This worldview determines how a person
thinks, acts, and lives. The central focus of the Christian worldview is God himself. Everything
begins, ends, and is centered on God and his character. This creates a worldview that is not focused on
the mankind and filtered that way, but rather it is focused on God and who he is. I believe this
worldview is imperative to have among believers and it is important that we check our minds and our
hearts to make sure that our worldview aligns itself with the truth of God s word. I

Discrimination And Discrimination In Society
Since the beginning of time people have discriminated against others. White people will look at
people of different races and think less of them. These people who discriminate think that they are
superior to them or they have more authority. Slavery was abolished in 1835 but that doesn t mean
people of color were treated any better. Every today there is still discrimination. Crooks symbolizes
the groups of people that are still discriminated against and this lack of power helps you understand
that racism still exists today.
In every kind of job people of color are discriminated against. Maybe they weren t given the
promotion because of their skin color or they are paid less than their white coworkers. The
Washington post wrote an article about discrimination in Hollywood. Even though there are these
huge actors and celebrities in Hollywood they still get paid less than successful white actors.
Minorities make up more than 36 percent of the U.S. population but represented only 10 percent of
lead characters in movies... (Hollywood s Race). Along as in regular everyday jobs there is a pay gap.
Compared to whites, African Americans are twice as likely to be unemployed, and earn nearly 25
percent less when they are employed. (Discrimination) This is quite a very large unemployment
number, not only that but also a large gap in jobs you wouldn t even expect. Now relating back to the
book. Crooks is discriminated against in his job and even though this book take place years

Religion has been a major focal point in any society and in any culture. Starting from the first
civilizations in Sumer and Ur to the vast metropolitans of today like New York and London, religion
has been around and played a key part in lives of people. Possibly two of the oldest religions in the
world, Judaism and Zoroastrinism share distinct qualities that are still alive today. Both religions are

Women were treated unfair and were considered impure because they gave childbirth and went
through the menstruation cycle. The Jewish religion has many key components, which were derived
from other religions such as Zoroastrianism. The prophet Zoroaster founded Zoroastrianism in Persia.
The doctrines preached by Zoroaster are preserved in his metrical Gathas (psalms), which form part of
the sacred scripture known as the Avesta. Zoroastrianism is one of the first monotheistic beliefs in the
world. The beliefs are outlined in the Gathas. The basic tenets of the Gathas consist of a worship of
Ahura Mazda and an ethical dualism opposing Truth and Lie, which permeate the entire universe.
Upon death in Zoroastrianism a person s soul will be judged at the Bridge of Discrimination; the
follower of Truth will cross and be led into paradise, and the adherents of Lie will fall into hell.
Zoroastrianists believe that evil will be wiped off the face of the Earth and will be burnt. The Gathas
and the Seven Chapters form part of the larger work, the Yasna. In the Yasna there are hymns that
praise specific Gods, and the code of law that they are to follow. Both Judaism and Zoroastrinism
share many characteristics in common. The most obvious and probably one of the most important is
the fact that both religions are monotheistic. In ancient times many civilizations were polytheistic.

Eye Of The Beholder Rhetorical Analysis
An awful lot of people come to college with this strange idea that there s no longer segregation in

segregation is going on all around us and it will never stop. The audience he is trying to portray his

the main theme of the play: revenge. In order for there to be revenge, the act of punishing someone

Creating A Successful Business Model
Introduction
Creating a successful business model requires a wide variety of detail. Numerous businesses decide
simply to enter a market with standard practices and standard products that are related to a particular
product or service, however, countless others attempt to innovate by creating new services or business
models. Innovation is done through small medium enterprises (SME) or through innovation driven
enterprises (IDE). The following paper will examine two broad firms and their various details
regarding benefits and risks. Innovation will be addressed in developing countries, in addition, how
firms can create a culture of innovation to support this business model. The concern regarding

Given that IDE s are creating new and un tested concepts into the market, the possibility of failure is
significant. However, this same risk can provide a greater payoff for IDE entrepreneurs if they manage
to be successful (Aulet, 2013).
Creating a Culture of Innovation
According to Aulet
There are a number of ways companies can create a culture of innovation. One way companies can
create a culture of innovation is by creating an infrastructure to allow people to experiment without it
hurting the business; innovation comes from experimentation and risk and when risk can be controlled
more experimentation can be done (Aulet, 2013). By creating an environment that not only allows
innovation, but rewards it, a continuing cycle can be created to invite growth.
According to Peters
One way is to create a culture of innovation is by creating an environment that focuses on the
development of people (Heywood, De Smet Webb 2014). By focusing on the development of
individuals and by creating environments that are supportive, open, and energetic, it encourages new
ideas and positive outlooks.
According to Execution Plan Video
Rewarding those who develop innovation is helping to encouraging it (Films on Demand, 2008).
Developing new ideas, but also exploring existing ones is another method of development for a

The Minds Of Humans Are Imperfect
The minds of humans are imperfect. It is for this reason that it is often easy to mistake fantasies and
reality. Fantasies can be described as wishful thinking, as imagining something perfect and they may
or may not have their roots based on reality. Therefore, reality is what we can deduce from the fives
senses and experience. In Don Quixote, by Miguel de Cervantes, many different kinds of women are
encountered throughout the adventures of Don Quixote. There are poor peasants, rich vassals,
prostitutes, and even shepherdess. Women in this novel seem to fall under either women of fantasy or
as a women of reality. There is a stark difference between the two groups of women, but sometimes
they are so sublime that they may even jump between women of fantasy and those of reality. Dorotea,
the rich peasant and wife of the nobleman Don Fernando, and Luscinda, a very wealthy women and
wife to Cardenio, would fall explicitly into the category of sublime women which can transcend from
reality to fantasy and work their way between either realm. Dulcinea and Aldonza Lorenza fall into
categories the very contrasting categories of fantasy and reality, respectively. Therefore, Luscinda,
Dorotea, and Dulcinea serve as the fantastical ideals that men desire women to be, but truth of the
matter is that most women of the time were what Aldonza Lorenzo was a women of reality.
As far as the most ordinary woman of the three fantastical women of part I, Luscinda is the one that

Underage Drinking At Its Worst
Underage Drinking at its worst! One lesson I thought I would never have to learn as a teenager was
underage drinking, toothbrushes, and bunk beds do not mix! I was 16 years old in high school and I
had braces. I was going through my rebellious stage, I didn t think about things before I did them and
what kind of consciences my actions had. I played football and I had lots of friends. I had friends who
were jocks, theater geeks, nerds, and some friends who were the trouble makers of the school. I went
to parties a lot, I would drink and have a good old time that was until I had my accident. My friend
Stevie s parents were going out of town and we all knew what that meant, he was going to have a
party. We all had our jobs to do to prepare for it. Stevie had the house so he was all set, another friend
of mine was in charge of inviting everyone, and my job was to get the alcohol. I had an older brother
who would always buy my friends and I booze, so I went all out. I got beer in bottles and in a keg, I
got hard alcohol like whiskey, vodka, rum and all the mixers that you need for a good underage
drinking party. The party was going great everyone was having a blast! Everyone showed up it was
turning out to be the best party of the year. People showed up that we didn t even invite, so they got
charged at the door to cover the cost of the party. As the night went on and it was getting late people
were starting to leave, we started to wind down and clean up a little (as well as

The Impact Of Ordo Virtutum On The Formation And...
The Impact of Ordo Virtutum on the Formation and Development of Liturgical Drama Thesis: The
Liturgical Drama Ordo Virtutum by Hildegard of Bingen was fundamental in the creation and
development of later works, providing religious inspiration, unique and expressive composition, and
reflections of individual experiences in order to create the first liturgical drama of its kind. I. Ordo
Virtutum depicts an allegorical struggle between good and evil, setting a precedent for later liturgical
dramas. A. Hildegard of Bingen s Ordo Virtutum is considered the first of its kind, revolutionizing the
subject matter of liturgical dramas. 1. Liturgical dramas composed after Ordo Virtutum mainly
contained sacred subject matter regarding biblical ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
2. The piece ends with a celebration of the virtues, a commemoration of the triumph of the righteous
over the influence of the devil. II. The unique composition of Ordo Virtutum is indicative of Hildegard
of Bingen s efforts to depict the drama as an expression of praise, glory, and righteousness. A. The
verse and tone of Ordo Virtutum contributes to the overarching theme of holiness and righteousness
within the piece. 1. Ordo Virtutum is written in Latin from the twelfth century that is praised its
revolutionary nature and differentiation from all other sacred poetry during this time. 2. Ordo Virtutum
has a modal formulaic structure that works by an alternating solo and choral response, which is
considered to be distinct to Hildegard s compositions. B. Hildegard utilizes techniques of singing and
shouting to emphasize various characteristics in Ordo Virtutum. 1. The Devil is not given any singing
lines, rather, is directed to shout his lines. Given the idea that music is the imitation of divine harmony,
the Devil should take no part in music. 2. The Devil intervenes within the scenes of light and purity by
shouting his threats. By using such extreme differences in vocal technique, the essential message of
the morality play is shown here. C. The conclusion of Ordo Virtutum consists of a period of praise and
glory, demonstrating Hildegard of Bingen s ideal vision of devotion to righteousness. 1. Half of the
published score is dedicated to the conclusion,

Sullivan Prison Religion Summary
In Winnifred Fallers Sullivan s (2009) Prison Religion: Faith Based Reform and the Constitution ,
Sullivan uses the case of AU v. PFM and provides an example to show how state sanctioned faith
based programs in prisons violate the first Amendment. Before someone can make an opinion on this
matter it is important to know exactly what the first Amendment entails. The First Amendment, which
is written in the constitution states that Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of
religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or
the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of
grievances . She utilizes this case due to the fact ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In this chapter she goes over what immigration enforcement used to be like back in 1950s. She
interviews a former Bracero (Legal worker) who crossed the border in 1957, Paraphrasing from their
conversation on page 110 from lines 9 39, he states that the border was guarded by a barbed wire
fence, and watched over by the la Migra (border patrol). He goes on to explain that the barriers were
enforced by immigration rather than the police, and he even goes on and states that the police wouldn t
even bother them. He then mentions that when they were caught by the BP (border patrol) they were
simply gathered to and held in a facility until a threshold was met, where they would then simply be
sent back. He then dives into detail when regarding immigrants partaking in criminal activities rather
than just crossing over. He states that It was migracion who caught us and sent us back, if you
committed an act, the police put you in jail. You just post bail and they d let you go. But if you didn t
do anything, the police wouldn t bother you (110). It seems that the enforcement of immigrants back
in the 50s was much more relaxed when compared to what it seems to be today. With the media
(obviously stretched and dramatized) portraying our borders as some sacred fighting ground guarded
by active snipers and trigger happy gunmen it seems that there was a huge difference in how the
border was enforced. Throughout the interview that Patrisia has with the ex bracero gives off the
impression that the enforcement was rather casual and that they were in no real danger. The
interviewee also gives off the impression that he doesn t have the same hate, intimidation, and fear for
the BP that the modern day seem immigrants

Andrew Jackson s Views On The Election Of 1824
Andrew Jackson s path to presidency was unique. In the election of 1824, there were four main
candidates, John Quincy Adams, Henry Clay, William H. Crawford, and Andrew Jackson. Jackson
gained the most popular votes of the four Democratic Republican candidates, but not the majority of
electoral votes to win the election. Henry Clay, who was eliminated from the election, held a decisive
position as the speaker of the House of Representatives. Clay was in a position to throw the election to
the candidate of his choice. Clay threw his support behind Adams since he had led some of the
strongest attacks against Jackson. Rather than the nation s presidency go to a man he abhorred, Clay
secured the White House for Adams. In return Adams named ... Show more content on

Northerners supported tariffs because tariffs helped them compete with British factories. The South s
economy was based on farming. Southerners imported their manufactured goods. Tariffs made
imported goods more expensive for southern farmer which led to their opposition. Angry Southerners
called the tariff the Tariff of Abominations. The new tariff added fuel to the growing sectional
differences plaguing the young nation. When Andrew Jackson took office in 1829, he was forced to
respond to the growing conflict over tariffs. Vice President John C. Calhoun joined his fellow
southerners in protest when Congress passed the Tariff of Abominations. In response to the tariff,
Calhoun drafted the South Carolina Exposition and Protest. It urged states to nullify the Tariff of
Abominations and used it to argue that since the states created the national government they decided
when the national laws apply. Calhoun s theory was controversial, and it drew some fierce
challengers. Many of them were from the northern states that had benefited from increased tariffs.
These opponents believed that the American people, not the individual states, made up the Union.
Conflict between the supporters and the opponents of nullification deepened. The issue of nullification
was intensely debated in the Senate, between Robert Y. Hayne and Daniel Webster. Hayne, senator
from South Carolina, defended states rights. He argued that nullification gave states a way to lawfully

A Simple Bass Player
The bass is the backbone of any band. Without it, the music wouldn t have that deep groove only
found in bands with it. Most guitar players shun the bass, thinking it simple and unneeded. It s up to
you, learning bass player, to show them otherwise. If you re just picking up the bass, you ll want to
know the basics before you jump right into trying to play. I m not saying you need to back to third
grade and look at the bars and different notes, though that wouldn t hurt, but to just get a feel for what
you re going to sound like when you are ready to rock. If you re just starting bass you probably have a
generic four string bass, which is all you need(with the exception of an amp and cords, of course). To
start, look at your strings. The ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
These chords are extremely useful and mastery of them will make you a skilled guitarist. However,
there are also a few more shapes of chords that can be played on the guitar neck. As each of these
shapes makes a different sound (not as far as which chord, but in a tonal sense) and since they are on
different parts of the guitar neck and can make for easier playing, it is a good idea to learn them. The
first one on the list should be based on C chords. 1. What are based on C chords? As we have seen,
chord shapes can be moved up and down the neck by barring them. This allows you to play many
different chords without changing your finger positions (or at least not much, as the case may be). We
have seen that an open A chord shape can be used with based on A barre chords and and open E shape
can be used for based on E barre chords, but there are also based on C chord. These chords are a little
different, and are not technically barre chords at all, which makes them easy to learn if you have
trouble with the barring. The general idea is to take the C chord and move it up the neck. But how to
do this? 2. What s the idea behind them? If you put your fingers into an open C chord position and
look at your hand what will you see? You are holding down three strings with your fingers and leaving
three others open the two E strings and

Review Of The Art Of Quilting Essay
The Art of Quilting
Quilting is an artform that has been passed down through generations. The origins of quilting is still
unknown to the public but it is known that it has been around for centuries. The art has traveled
through sad and happy times in our world s history, and it will continue to do that in the future.
Quilting is defined as the joining together of layers of fabrics with lines stitching to form a bed cover,
warm garment, or for decorative effect. Quilting has been pegged as being an older person s activity or
boring, but that simply is not true. More and more American children are being enrolled into sewing
and quilting classes each year. (Creel;Hall) In an interview with Stephanie Collings, she spoke about
her career in quilting. She began her own business and quickly began to make a profit. In the
interview she is asked about her income and she states, My income is very small compared to our
family income, but every little bit helps! On a good month I will make around one thousand dollars.
She also talks on how quilting is more of a seasonal project which is when most quilters make a large
portion of their money (Fowler). There are also many competitions all around America where a quilter
can enter their quilt into a quilting contest. In these quilting competitions there is a possibility to win
monetary rewards and gain recognition from other well known quilters. One of the largest known
competitions is provided by America s Quilter s Society. There

There are three main issues that occur in my job surrounding the lack of efficient communication,

  • 2. Advantages Of Binary Options correcttrade.net What Are Binary Options? Guide for Newbies August 3rd, 2016 Headline: What Are Binary Options A Complete Guide for the Newbies Unlike conventional forms of trading, binary options trading is a fairly simple way to earn high payouts within a short time period. Traders choose an asset (e.g. Apple stock, Gold, GBP/USD currency pair, S P 500 index), decide on a trade amount, and predict whether the asset price will go up or down at the expiration time. If the trader predicts that the asset value would rise at the expiration time, he executes a Call option. On the contrary, he places a Put option if he predicts the asset price will fall. He gets a pre determined payout if his prediction is correct. If the prediction is incorrect, he loses a part of his investment. What are the advantages of binary options? Binary options trading offers several advantages in contrast to the traditional forms of trading. Here s a thorough analysis: Easy to understand: This is one of the ... Extended trading hours: Another advantage of binary options trading is the ability to enjoy extended trading hours. Brokers who offer a wide range of assets enable the traders to trade around the clock, as the U.K, U.S., and the Asian markets do not open and close at the same time and have different trading hours. This lets the users constantly execute binary options trades on the assets listed at all these international markets within a span of 24 hours. The correctrade advantage An informed trading ... • 3. The Effect Of Recasts And Prompts On Francophone Learners Regarding output, Corrective Feedback (CF) caters chance for learners to improve their interlanguage when interlocutors provide correct input (recast) or attempt eliciting the correct output from learners (prompt). Ammar and Spada (2006) conducted research to compare the effectiveness of recasts and prompts on Francophone learners of English at different levels. The study focused on the third person possessive determiners (his and her) which are problematic to French native speakers. After being instructed the rule and through some practices, learners would be given either recasts or prompts to errors regarding his and her, or no CF in the control group. Participants were assessed three times: pre test, immediate post test and delayed post test. The researchers discovered that instruction and exposure plus CF are more effective than those without CF. No technique is better than the other since prompts are more effective than recasts for lower proficiency students while high proficiency students benefit from both equally. Although the study only focused on the binary forms (either his or her), it suggested that prompts be applied more to improve lower level learners performance. Interaction is a two way communication under the sociocultural theory promoting consciousness. • 5. Privacy and Computer Technology Privacy and Computer Technology Today, the development of technology is spread all over the world and so are ethical issues. Because of the widespread, computer ethics are boiling down distinguishing what is good from what is wrong mentality. Everyone s view on computer ethics differ, however all should keep in mind the value of ethics when making decisions that are ethics based. The golden rules of computer ethics state that, one should do to one another what he/she thinks should be done to them and if at least quite a number of people obey the golden rule, then there would be no many issues concerning computer ethics as they are today. The computer ethics that surround us presently brought by software, and social networking sites have plagued the cyber world for many years. Software Issues Nowadays, most people in the organization are overlooking ethical use of software. By an organization purchasing any kind of software does not give privileges that they own the software, and therefore can use it anyhow. Organization should put in mind that they never own any software, but what they actually have is the license for using the software purchased. It is therefore a requisite for every organizations and small companies to accept the terms as well as the conditions that apply upon using software. Accepting the copyright terms guarantees people never to use the purchased software for anything else other than what is intended to be used for, hence no copies should be made ... Personal Identity And Global Citizenship Reflecting on Personal Identity and Global Citizenship My normative environment, the Air Force, has provided me with opportunities to develop my global identity through experiences making me a global citizen. However, I have also experience individuals that are not globally aware of their impact on a global scale; these individuals are both Americans and other nationalities. Due to the fact that some people can be close minded to global citizenship, it is important to educate people about their roles and duties as a global citizen and not just a national citizen. For example, during the Ethics and Moral Reasoning course I realized that people can develop tunnel vision about their own culture, to include myself. The world is made up of multiple cultures, and these cultures shape our morals and ethical beliefs. Through Informal Logic, I can tell when news media is twisting a story for publicity or political gain, rather than stating the facts. Pipiena Malafu Ms. Bettencourt English 3CP 7 April 2017 Hauptmann s Inevitable Demise Throughout history, various cases have not been properly executed in such a way that rightful criminals are taken to justice (hence the creation of courtrooms). The result of improper trials have led to the death of innocent lives which is unfortunately not unprecedented. A trial that epitomizes such unfair charges, leading to the execution of an innocent, was the Lindbergh Baby Kidnapping Trial. • 8. Prejudice In The Holocaust The Holocaust is a prime example of prejudice taken to a catastrophic level. It was a large scale event almost unparalleled to that of any other in terms of people killed and atrocities committed. Violence against Jews and their properties were both commonplace and promoted, and anti Semitism among Nazis and their associates ran rampant. By unlawfully persecuting a particular race through state sponsored government support, racism flourished and led the way to a rise of an apocalyptic genocide. With authorization from the Nazi party allocated to its soldiers, troops confiscated Jewish property, pillaged numerous synagogues and stores, and murdered Jews in a short period of time. Reliable assistance to the suffering Jews was hard to find because of the Nazis brainwashing of the nation through abundant propaganda. This kind of widespread discrimination inhibited the Jewish people s ability to speak out against this obvious prejudice. While these attacks were just the tip of the iceberg in comparison to later deeds committed by the Nazis, they were still fundamental to the eventual extermination of the Jewish race. ... Many things caused this change to happen. When the story first starts, Macbeth is a very loyal and respected general in King Duncan s army. In the second scene we meet a Captain reporting from the battlefield, praising Macbeth; For brave Macbeth well he deserves that name. Till he fac d the slave, Which ne er shook hands, nor bade farewell to him till he unseam d him from the nave to th chaps and fix d his head upon our battlement. To which Duncan replies, O valiant cousin, worthy gentleman. This clearly shows that Macbeth is a ruthless warrior who would stop at nothing to defend his country. This would show Macduff that he had better watch out, and it would scare Macduff. Macduff is horrified to his family getting murdered because of his absence. I believe that before Macbeth murdered king Duncan he would not have decided to kill innocent women and children. This shows that he made horrible changes to survive. • 10. Hawaii s Musical Culture And History While researching the country of Hawaii s musical culture and history I was able to find some very interesting things that are present in modern Hawaii. From the causes of musical oppression, fight for independence and revival of Hawaiian culture I will talk about how all of these contributed to the current culture of Hawaiian drum dance. First I will talk about the history and culture of the Hawaiian natives and how this has had its effect on Hawaiian music. In 1778, the first European to come to Hawaii was Captain James Cook. He was a British explorer and discovered Hawaii while he was exploring the East coast of Australia. When he came to Hawaii he became a symbol of outsider influence because he opened up trade with North America and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In later years there would be even more epidemics due to increase in trade which will eventually cut the population size in half in Hawaii. In the 19th century Hawaii used the form of government called a monarchy. King Kamehameha I or the Great was the first king to unify all of the islands that made up Hawaii. King Kamehameha was a very inspiring king for the Hawaiian people. His beliefs and morals set the tone for what they expected out of future kings in Hawaii. He strongly believed in maintaining independence from colonial control. He did this by creating alliances with those powers. He supported a lot of freedoms that the natives had. Such as, religion and religious expression and cultural customs. With the increase in trade he also tried to preserve the native Hawaiian culture. One way he did this was by allowing only natives to own land. But decades later this law was taken away. The reason why I discuss King Kamehameha is because he becomes a symbol in Hawaiian music and they praise him in their songs because of how favorable he was as a king. After his death, his son took to the throne and was named King Kamehameha II. Unlike his father, he took a very different path during his reign. He destroyed almost all of his father s efforts to lead a country of freedom. He took way Kapu which restricted people to practice their religion and customs as well as destroying their idols and ritual practices. The Kapu was a system of rules that separated the ... Similar to other East Asian countries, Vietnamese culture is strongly influenced by Confucianism, a simpler way of life, and the connection within family member are often reflected by the values embedded in the ideology (Vu, Huy Q., Rook, Karen S. The division of labor between the parents impacts their parenting style and the socialization of their children (Vu, Huy Q. Rook, Karen S. (2013)). Discrepancies Between parents and children, differences in acculturation are a common occurrence in immigrant families including, the Vietnamese culture (Vu, Huy Q., Rook, Karen S. (2013)). When Vietnamese immigrated to Western societies, the ethics and manners were incorporated, and was much easier for the children to focus on then parents (Vu, Huy Q. Rook, Karen S. (2013)). Due to the children finding the ethics quicker and without difficulty Vietnamese children begin to wander from the traditional values causing struggles between the two generations (Vu, Huy Q. There is a solution with acculturation and intergeneration tensions unfortunately, it has received little attention to date (Vu, Huy Q. Rook, Karen S. (2013)). Business Process Redesign or Reengineering Business Process Redesign or Reengineering Business Process Redesign (BPR) or Reengineering is the fundamental rethinking and radical redesign of business processes to achieve dramatic improvements in critical, contemporary measures of performance, such as cost, quality, service, and speed (Hammer and Champy, Reengineering). Since the BPR idea has surfaced it has been under constant ridicule by the popular press. They say it takes far too long, creates management headaches, fails 70% of the time, and it s only for big companies with big checkbooks (Hydrel...). This move, however, caused a bit of turmoil in the whole process due to he fact that, many employees weren t use to works in groups. And eventually led to the redesign phase, one that went to drastic measures and wiped the slate clean. This time, however, the bank knew what it had to do. So this time TCB moved quickly through the process, and it led to quick results. They began by redesigning the bank s lines, question certain products, eliminated processes, and apply newer technologies. And finally a blue print emerged. Which included narrative descriptions of processes, new flowcharts, all projects cost/benefit analyses, and the implementation of strategies. The benefits of this process were significant: 16,000 ideas, 1005 projects, 1,100 positions to be terminated, and $43M in reduced expenses (Betting...). Increased precision and decreased risk make the automation of warriors both politically and militarily attractive. In the past, many leaders relied on the military theory from the Prussian theorist Carl Von Clausewitz book On War to answer similar questions. The enduring nature and profoundness suggests that the Holy Trinity (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) may have influenced Clausewitz, which is undoubtedly also a bias of this author. Many scholars have argued over its interpretation, especially with regard to the secondary trinity referenced by Clausewitz as the people, the commander with his army, and the government . One notion that is agreeable to this author is that the secondary trinity of the people, army, and government was Clausewitz attempt at the application of the theory. They all go on Walkabouts, they all sing the songs of the Ancestors, and they all have tjurungas that they view as sacred. Another aspect of their religion is that they have Kirda and Kutungurlu in each tribe. Kirda is the owner or boss of the land, while Kutungurlu is the manager or helper of the boss (Chatwin, 98). The reason this binds the different tribes together is because the Kutungurlu has to be from a different totemic clan and was a nephew of the Kirda on his mother s side (Ferry, 98). This ensures that the clans communicate and be at peace with each other, as they are interdependent on the other. Another aspect of their culture that strengthens feelings of community is the abundance of singing and rituals. The songs of the Aboriginals tell the stories of their Ancestor walking across Australia, and each Aboriginal owns a certain part of the song, which also acts as their property deeds. I thought the panel in the video did a great job pointing out the logical fallacy of moral relativism. Depending on the consciousness of the person you are going to get a host of different moral standards that does not conform to each other. If this kind of thinking was able to flourish in society, then it would lead to absolute chaos in how our judicial structure works. At the end of the day there has to be some kind of absolute moral guidance for there to be any order in a society that actually functions correctly. I really enjoyed the second video as well and how concisely it was able to explain what a Christian worldview really was. Out of that video I was able to get a better grasp and comprehension on the importance of having a Christian worldview. Everyone on planet earth has a worldview of some kind. This worldview determines how a person thinks, acts, and lives. The central focus of the Christian worldview is God himself. Everything begins, ends, and is centered on God and his character. This creates a worldview that is not focused on the mankind and filtered that way, but rather it is focused on God and who he is. I believe this worldview is imperative to have among believers and it is important that we check our minds and our hearts to make sure that our worldview aligns itself with the truth of God s word. Fantasies can be described as wishful thinking, as imagining something perfect and they may or may not have their roots based on reality. Therefore, reality is what we can deduce from the fives senses and experience. In Don Quixote, by Miguel de Cervantes, many different kinds of women are encountered throughout the adventures of Don Quixote. There are poor peasants, rich vassals, prostitutes, and even shepherdess. Women in this novel seem to fall under either women of fantasy or as a women of reality. There is a stark difference between the two groups of women, but sometimes they are so sublime that they may even jump between women of fantasy and those of reality. Dorotea, the rich peasant and wife of the nobleman Don Fernando, and Luscinda, a very wealthy women and wife to Cardenio, would fall explicitly into the category of sublime women which can transcend from reality to fantasy and work their way between either realm. Dulcinea and Aldonza Lorenza fall into categories the very contrasting categories of fantasy and reality, respectively. Therefore, Luscinda, Dorotea, and Dulcinea serve as the fantastical ideals that men desire women to be, but truth of the matter is that most women of the time were what Aldonza Lorenzo was a women of reality. He goes on to explain that the barriers were enforced by immigration rather than the police, and he even goes on and states that the police wouldn t even bother them. He then mentions that when they were caught by the BP (border patrol) they were simply gathered to and held in a facility until a threshold was met, where they would then simply be sent back. He then dives into detail when regarding immigrants partaking in criminal activities rather than just crossing over. He states that It was migracion who caught us and sent us back, if you committed an act, the police put you in jail. You just post bail and they d let you go.
