2. Salvador Dalí was a surrealistic
Spanish painter that was born in
Figueres, Girona, in 1921. He
studied at San Fernando’s Art
school ( Madrid), from which he
was expelled in 1926. He lived in
the students’ residence of Madrid,
where he met other important
artists. While he was in Paris, he
met Paul Picasso

Most of Dalí’s production is
based on Freud’s theories;
that is why his paintings are
very surprising, for example
