This document presents a device to help visually impaired people find locations and read text. The proposed system uses a camera to capture images of text, applies preprocessing like binarization and OCR to extract the text, and converts it to speech output. It aims to improve on existing reading aids by handling text on complex backgrounds with various fonts and sizes more accurately. The system design includes modules for image acquisition, preprocessing, optical character recognition, and text-to-speech conversion to read text aloud for users. It is intended to make printed information like signs and labels more accessible to the visually impaired.
Wireless and uninstrumented communication by gestures for deaf and mute based...IOSR Journals
Abstract: The fact that technology is advancing as per Moore’s law, the attention towards deaf and mute individuals with hi-tech technology is not much. Deaf and mute have to communicate through sign language even for pithy things. And also many people did not understand this language. Now-a-days gesture is becoming an increasingly popular means of interacting with computers. This paper sheds light of an proposed potential idea relying on latest technology named Wi-See which was developed in Washington, US. This technology actually uses our conventional Wi-Fi signals for home automation by gesture recognition. So, depending upon this hi-tech technology, my modified application idea is towards deaf and dumb, especially, one who cannot speak, but knows English language for communication. Since wireless signals do not require line-of-sight and can traverse through walls, proposed idea can be very useful to expressed views by speechless people without requiring instrumentation of the human body with sensing devices. The whole idea is based on Doppler shift in frequency of Wi-Fi signals. Instead of controlling home appliances as by Wi-See, this idea extends its view for speech or words through speakers installed. Each successive pattern of English alphabet generated by Doppler shift by gestures in air, can be recorded and matched with predefined pattern, which when processed, be outputed through speaker as combined letter word ,inspired by English digital dictionary having prediction and correction algorithm. Recognizing of Text and Product Label from Hand Held Entity Intended for Visi...YogeshIJTSRD
Our proposed work involves recognizing text and product label reading from portable entities intended for Visionless Persons using Raspberry Pi 3, ultrasonic sensor. Raspberry Pi 3 is the controller used in the proposed device. GPS is fixed in the system and it is used to find the exact location of the person in terms of longitude and latitude, this information is sent to the caretaker through e mail. The caretaker can use the latitude and longitude to find the address on Google Maps. The camera is used to identify the obstacle or object ahead and the output is told to the blind user in speech form. The camera also identifies objects with words on them, using image processing these images are converted to text, and using Tesseract the text is converted to speech, thus giving the speech output to the blind about what is written on the object. RF ID is used to find the stick using tags. The buzzer goes ON to identify the location of the stick. A threshold value for distance between the user and the stick is set, when the distance is less than the threshold value, the buzzer sound increases. Arunkumar. V | Aswin M. D | Bhavan. S | Gopinath. Visible Light Communication for Visually Impaired People using Sustainable LEDsijtsrd
We developed navigation system prototype for the visually impaired using LED lights. Where LED lights emit visible light with location data and a smartphone or blind persons stick with a visible light receiver receives the data. The controller with receiver calculates the optimal path to a designation and speaks to the visually impaired through a headphone or turns stick left or right with the help of motor. The prototype is able to navigate the visually impaired users fairly well with speech guidance. We believe that the application of visible light communication belongs to location-based services and new graphical user interfaces that combine visual imagery with visible light communication. For this application, users are able to know the information associated with a transmitter. If a transmitter is attached to a building or a fixed place, location information will be obtained. Indoor navigation is convenient for everyone, and it is especially useful for visually impaired. The role of speech technology in biometrics, forensics and man-machine interfaceIJECEIAES
Day by day Optimism is growing that in the near future our society will witness the Man-Machine Interface (MMI) using voice technology. Computer manufacturers are building voice recognition sub-systems in their new product lines. Although, speech technology based MMI technique is widely used before, needs to gather and apply the deep knowledge of spoken language and performance during the electronic machine-based interaction. Biometric recognition refers to a system that is able to identify individuals based on their own behavior and biological characteristics. Fingerprint success in forensic science and law enforcement applications with growing concerns relating to border control, banking access fraud, machine access control and IT security, there has been great interest in the use of fingerprints and other biological symptoms for the automatic recognition. It is not surprising to see that the application of biometric systems is playing an important role in all areas of our society. Biometric applications include access to smartphone security, mobile payment, the international border, national citizen register and reserve facilities. The use of MMI by speech technology, which includes automated speech/speaker recognition and natural language processing, has the significant impact on all existing businesses based on personal computer applications. With the help of powerful and affordable microprocessors and artificial intelligence algorithms, the human being can talk to the machine to drive and control all computer-based applications. Today's applications show a small preview of a rich future for MMI based on voice technology, which will ultimately replace the keyboard and mouse with the microphone for easy access and make the machine more intelligent.

Abstract— Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) brain tumor image classification is a difficult task due to the variance and complexity of tumors. This paper presents an efficient techniques for the classification of the magnetic resonance brain images. In this work we are taking MR images as input; MRI which is directed into internal cavity of brain and gives the complete image of the brain. The proposed technique consists of two stages. In the first stage, discrete wavelet transform is used for dimensionality reduction and feature extraction. In the second stage, classification is performed using the probabilistic neural network. The classifier have been used to classify real MR images as benign (non-cancerous) and Malignant (cancerous). Probabilistic neural network (PNN) with image and data processing technique is employed to implement an automated brain tumor classification. The use of artificial intelligent technique has shown great potential in this field.

An image processing system that based computer vision has received many attentions from science and technology expert. Research on image processing is needed in the development of human-computer interactions such as hand recognition or gesture recognition for people with hearing impairments and deaf people. In this research we try to collect the hand gesture data and used a simple deep neural network architecture that we called model E to recognize the actual hand gestured. The dataset that we used is collected from kaggle.com and in the form of ASL (American Sign Language) datasets. We doing accuracy comparison with another existing model such as AlexNet to see how robust our model. We find that by adjusting kernel size and number of epoch for each model also give a different result. After comparing with AlexNet model we find that our model E is perform better with 96.82% accuracy.

In this paper we have simulated and analyzed histogram shifting method on different types of cover images. Secret image which is used to hide in cover image is called payload. We have analyzed this algorithm in MATLAB simulation tool. This analysis is performed to find out the performance of this method on different types of cover images. We have analyzed this to find out how much accuracy can we get when extracting payload from cover image. We have computed peak signal to noise ratio, mean square error. Cosmetic shop management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
Buying new cosmetic products is difficult. It can even be scary for those who have sensitive skin and are prone to skin trouble. The information needed to alleviate this problem is on the back of each product, but it's thought to interpret those ingredient lists unless you have a background in chemistry.
Instead of buying and hoping for the best, we can use data science to help us predict which products may be good fits for us. It includes various function programs to do the above mentioned tasks.
Data file handling has been effectively used in the program.
The automated cosmetic shop management system should deal with the automation of general workflow and administration process of the shop. The main processes of the system focus on customer's request where the system is able to search the most appropriate products and deliver it to the customers. It should help the employees to quickly identify the list of cosmetic product that have reached the minimum quantity and also keep a track of expired date for each cosmetic product. It should help the employees to find the rack number in which the product is placed. It is also Faster and more efficient way.
