This document discusses a system for vertical farming with smart robotics. It proposes using swarm robotics/drones and sensors to automatically monitor conditions like temperature, moisture, and detect diseases in a vertical farm without human interference. The system would control irrigation, temperature, provide alerts/alarms on a webpage. It would use multiple small robots and an ESP8266 WiFi module to acquire farm data. A base station with an ATmega328 microcontroller would connect to the active swarms and network. This type of smart, automated vertical farming with swarm robots could help increase food production in smaller spaces and address issues from population growth, urbanization, and climate change.
