This document analyzes the performance of a vibratory bowl feeder for feeding buttons of different sizes in a garment factory. It describes how experiments were conducted using the design of experiments methodology to develop a mathematical model relating the feed rate output to input parameters of part size, population, and frequency. The model was found to be statistically significant based on ANOVA analysis. The optimal model can predict the feeder's performance behavior based on the input parameters.

Information about solution methods related to assembly line balancing problems is given. Operator reduction is achieved by line balancing. Layout was modified using the template method. The aim of this article is the usage of these techniques to improve the productivity in a clothing company.
A KPI-based process monitoring and fault detection framework for large-scale ...ISA Interchange
Large-scale processes, consisting of multiple interconnected sub-processes, are commonly encountered in industrial systems, whose performance needs to be determined. A common approach to this problem is to use a key performance indicator (KPI)-based approach. However, the different KPI-based approaches are not developed with a coherent and consistent framework. Thus, this paper proposes a framework for KPI-based process monitoring and fault detection (PM-FD) for large-scale industrial processes, which considers the static and dynamic relationships between process and KPI variables. For the static case, a least squares-based approach is developed that provides an explicit link with least-squares regression, which gives better performance than partial least squares. For the dynamic case, using the kernel re- presentation of each sub-process, an instrument variable is used to reduce the dynamic case to the static case. This framework is applied to the TE benchmark process and the hot strip mill rolling process. The results show that the proposed method can detect faults better than previous methods.

In the present study,the influence of machining parameters on surfac e roughness and material removal rate is examined by utilizing ANN& ANOVA techniques. Three important variables i.e. spindle velocity,depth of cut and feed rate which are influence on the surface roughness and mater ial removal rate are examined and also analyzed. Artificial Neural Network and Analysis of variance t echniques are effective tools for analyze and optimize the cutting parameters. Based on taguchi,design of expe riments,L27 orthogonal array was selected for conducting turning experiments. 3 factors are considered at 3 levels for orthogonal array L27 design. The experimentation has been conducted on Aluminum alloy AL 6253 using CNC t urner with carbide tip tool and experimental results are taken for preparing of the ANN model. The experimental results were analyzed by using ANOVA and the regression equation for predicting the surface roughness and MRR.

It contains various customized modules for effectively maintaining automobiles and stock information accurately and safely.
When the automobile is sold to the customer, stock will be reduced automatically. When a new purchase is made, stock will be increased automatically. While selecting automobiles for sale, the proposed software will automatically check for total number of available stock of that particular item, if the total stock of that particular item is less than 5, software will notify the user to purchase the particular item.
Also when the user tries to sale items which are not in stock, the system will prompt the user that the stock is not enough. Customers of this system can search for a automobile; can purchase a automobile easily by selecting fast. On the other hand the stock of automobiles can be maintained perfectly by the automobile shop manager overcoming the drawbacks of existing system.
