This document describes research on an automatically controlled solar tunnel dryer using Arduino for drying potatoes. Key points:
- A solar tunnel dryer was constructed using common materials like GI sheets and a controlling circuit was added using components like a temperature sensor, fan, Arduino board etc. to automatically control the drying process.
- Experiments were conducted drying potato slices in the solar tunnel dryer. Temperature, humidity, solar radiation and air velocity were monitored over multiple days of drying.
