Prosthodontics is the dental specialty pertaining to the
diagnosis, treatment planning, rehabilitation, and
maintenance of the oral function, comfort, appearance,
and health of patients with clinical conditions
associated with missing or deficient teeth and/or
maxillofacial tissues by using biocompatible substitutes.
