Passportfolio is a free online careers planning tool for young people in the UK. It allows users to take quizzes on skills and interests, build CVs and action plans, research education and career options, and create a multimedia portfolio. Over 16,000 young people across 30 schools in Nottinghamshire are registered users. The site receives over 800,000 hits and 2,000 unique users per month. Teachers and advisors can also access students' profiles to track progress and provide feedback.
Technology and the CIF - RAPTA workshop
This workshop explored a self-assessment tool for Recording And Planning for Technology in Action, called RAPTA. There was an opportunity to explore the potential of the tool, and find out how it links to your organisational Self Assessment Reporting (SAR) processes, Quality Improvement Plan and the Ofsted Common Inspection Framework (CIF). There were also activities using the tool to encourage self assessment of effective use of technology and sharing of good practice with technology.
e-Mentoring at Grantham College

Their market research found most people have difficulties seeing slides and want the ability to interact during presentations. Citizen Outreach and Engagement
Strategy is what ties the vision to results. This session will focus on strategies and considerations when moving to an electronic process for accepting requests from the public. Often times government organizations cannot mandate the use of externally facing systems yet in order to leverage the investment made in the system, citizens must adopt a new process for engaging with agencies.
The City of Los Angeles launched an outreach program in 2009 to shift a document based submission from a mail, fax, and in-box bound process to an electronic data focused submission process and has reached an 87% self service rate. As a case study example, we will walk through an overview of the program as well as some of the key lessons learned.
Using Power Point Differently Online

to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
