Initial Plans

Initial Reaction
My initial thoughts regarding the set brief were multiple ideas. I had a couple
of ideas for my set brief, including using the techniques and tricks that I have
used in my experiments. I had good thoughts about this project from the start
as I could create an adventure game or action. I am not quite sure, what to
make yet but I know that I could create a game under the genre of adventure
or Action. I could even combine the two.
From previous experience, my strengths are having a creative mind to
generate solid ideas like characters, justifying my options so you know what I
was thinking and presenting my work in an organized manner in order to look
aesthetically pleasing to my player.
In my opinion, I think that I could create an action/adventure game that
would include a series of actions such as driving around a track to make the
player enticed into the game. This could include previous skills such as making
audio to create music to attract players and please the audience.

Mood Board
Mood Board Analysis
My mood board consists of my racing game. I don’t really have that much
repetition. My theme is nature, so I had placed some inspiring images on my
mood board, such as grass, flowers, a waterfall and skies. I thought this would
be perfect for my game as I can make the characters and items influenced by
nature too. Therefore I have placed Some animals that could appear as
characters in my game.
In game play, the game will start with a start up screen that may look like the
start up screen featured in my mood board. It may be influenced by the
theme as well, with greens, yellows and reds. In the race, I will have special
items that could be used to the player’s advantage to win the race. These
could have question marks on them that look like the ones featured in my
mood board.
As in a normal race, you will have first, second and third trophies These may
look like the ones featured.
Mood Board Analysis
As you can see, I have featured Mario kart in my mood board. I wanted this
game to influence my game as it is a good game to play. I want my game to be
as great as this one.
Finally, I have featured two different roads in my mood board. This is because
I wanted to show you the two different perspectives of my game. Sideways
view and areal view. I think that this will intrigue the audience to play this
game even more.
