This document contains the initial plans and ideas for a game from a student. It includes three potential game ideas: 1) a flappy bird-style drone game where the player navigates obstacles, 2) a bike racing game where the player collects coins on a track against the clock, and 3) a zombie survival game where the player fights zombies to survive. For each idea, the student proposes gameplay mechanics, target audiences, and visual elements like colors, music, and backgrounds. The student ultimately chooses the sliding coin collection idea as their final game, which they aim to make relaxing and child-friendly. They outline plans for calm colors, music, sound effects, and an eye-catching app icon to attract young audiences.

The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.
This is a presentation by Dada Robert in a Your Skill Boost masterclass organised by the Excellence Foundation for South Sudan (EFSS) on Saturday, the 25th and Sunday, the 26th of May 2024.
He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.
Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.
The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

2. Mind Map
First potential ideas
This is my first idea, a drone or plane controlled
by somebody trying to navigate through obstacles
like flappy bird. This could be a good idea because
it will be easy to make but fun to play. This will
also attract many people who like flying games.
The colors I could use could be bright vibrant
colors, this would be good because it will attract
the eye but the main colours that will be used will
be blue for the sky and maybe a red for the drone
or plane, then I could use yellow for the obstacles
the plane or drone has to avoid. Some
background music I could include is intense but
funny music or maybe just a quite beat that
repeats and changes over an amount of time.
My second idea consists of a person on a bike
and they need to collect all the gold coins by
completing the track and if they fail then they
have to restart from the beginning again and they
are against the clock. The music I could include
into this game is fast pace music that gets the
heart racing so the player is ready to speed there
way through the course. The colours will be quite
dark since they are on a dirt path so lots of brown
and black. But there will be some bright colours
like the sky and dirt bike. The background might
be a stadium stand full of people that are there
to watch. I could give the biker extra lives so 3
and if he crashes 3 times then its game over then
player 2 has to try and beat him. Or I could have
the game where the two players race each other
and whoever wins wins the game.
My 3rd and final potential idea could be a character
fighting his way through lots of zombies and he has
to try and survive. This game could just work with
the character just trying to survive without an
objective. The colours for this could include a wide
range from red being the blood and black being
almost every where. The moon will be the source
of light for the lone survivor so he has to trod
carefully. There cold be a variety of weapons that
drop for him like machine guns to swords. The
music that can be involved in this game could be
spooky but fast paced music. This is to symbolize
the death and destruction that is about to happen
in the game.
The target audience this game will
be linked to could be from the ages
of 14-40 yr. olds, the reason why the
age is so high is because older
people played pixel games when
they where kids so this means if
they play these games then they will
have a nostalgic feeling that they
will like.
The target audience for this game can
be from any body aged from 7-18 yr.
olds. The main reason why 7 year olds
can play this is because there is no
violence in this game , this means that
any age could technically play this. One
reason why older people might want to
play this is because the younger kids
might want them to play with them.
Therefor leaving them with no option
but to play with them.
The main target audience for this game
would be the same as the bike game.
7-18 yr. olds. This is because there is
no violence. But one main reason why
it is not lower is because It could be a
frustrating game so the younger kids
might not know how to play it.
4. Mind Map
Final idea
My final idea I have chosen the idea where
you have to slide through. My main idea for
this game is to make it as relaxing as possible
so it isn’t as stressful as other games. It will
also be child friendly with the content inside
the game so children can play it. I feel like
this is a good because more children are
getting smartphones and they want to play
games on them and this game is perfect to
pass the time.
My main colours that I will mainly use will be light colours
like green, blue, white and yellow. The reason why I want to
use these colours is because I want the game to be very
friendly. I don’t want the game to be bad or dark in colours
scheme terms. I would also like to use these colours because
I want the game to be very attractive and nice on the eyes.
This should also help attract young audiences to play the
game because of the bright vibrant colours.
The main aim of this game is to collect
golden coins whilst trying to dodge
people who are trying to capture you.
This will be challenging but not at the
cost of going crazy and mental. The
game might also have calming music in
the background also just to settle
down the mood of the player if they
struggle but I might also add in some
action music just to make the game
more interesting .
The type of music and sound effects I might
include will be tings for collecting a gold coin and
a ping for going through one obstacle. This will
help the player identify what they have collected
or passed through. The music that I might
include will be a soft background music, the sort
of music you hear in a dentist or hospital, this
will calm the player and give them a better
experience. I might also add more than one song
and make my own loop on garage band. I might
also add in some more sound effects for when
the player crashes into an obstacle, I could use a
hard thud and a wha wha whaaaaaa.
For my app image I am going to create one that stands out
completely because people are going to look on the app store and
then hopefully see mine stand out from all the rest because of the
bright vibrant colours that are there. I might include the main
character in there so they can see what they are dealing with. I feel
like this would be good because it would make it fun and different
to all the other app pictures. I also think that making it bright and
colourful as possible is good because it leaves a good image on the
overall game, like a positive image.
5. Mood Board Analysis
Is there any repetition in the images you have collected?
Repeated colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood
• Yes there is repetition of my images, I have found images that are of the same idea which are characters, I have several
characters on my mood board which I can refer to and design around if I wanted to this is good because then I have multiple
paths to go.
• In my mood board there is a lot of the colour blue. This is because it is light and this would be one of my to go colours
because it is nice and bright. I also see a lot of green in my mood board, this is because it mixes well with the colour blue
and them both would be good colours to mix.
• The mood that my mood board shows is a positive one, this is because of the colours and design of the characters. They
reflect a good image because they are all designed to be heroes and younger people love a hero in there game.
How will your mood board influence your final product?
My mood board will influence my product in such away that it will almost follow the mood boards styles that I chosen. This is
because my mood board has all the main features I am looking for and when it has everything I have no excuse to not follow it, so
I will be basing allot of my games ideas off my mood board
