Initial Reaction
My initial thoughts regarding the set brief were to create something with
audio. After I had completed the audio project, which I got a good grade in, I
knew I would be successful in the audio industry. I first had the idea to create
a radio show about a specific topic. But I did not know what to talk about in
this show. I thought back to my Audio project. I completed this on the genre
of horror. I thought to my self that this genre, would appeal to my audience,
who would be a wide range of people. I could even recreate my first project. I
thought this would be more interesting to people as they could even have a
sequel to the first crime investigation podcast!
I am also good at print, which was another project that I have completed. This
I also got a good grade in. I could create an additional leaflet or an advert
about my product. This would bring the sound on to paper. This could bring
aesthetically pleasing elements into the project of the audience to enjoy. Of
course, this does not have to be included, it could be an extra.
Initial Reaction
I was overjoyed to hear about a project that would allow me to do whatever I
wanted in. Even though, I thought of audio being my main idea, I was also
thinking of doing some extras, including print.
There are reasons, I have not included film and animation. From the first
project I completed, I was terrible at film. I did not enjoy this either. I got a
pass in this project, which was lower than the audio and print projects that I
had completed before (I had not only passed in but got high merits in).
Animation is another topic; I am better at this than film. I enjoyed this but not
as much as other projects. It is time consuming; I could be doing more
additional projects to the main project in this time that is taken up by
animation. Another big reason, for not doing these topics in my project, is the
global crisis that is known as the corona virus. This virus has caused me and
thousands of other people to not attend the college building. Therefore, I
cannot access this equipment needed for these two topics. I have made life
easier for my self by doing project topics that don’t include major equipment.

Mood Board Analysis
To start, the people in my talk show are being represented by these images. There
are two women sat next to each other. These are the women I imagine that run
the show. The first woman, mid 40’s, is the more dominant, jolly and confident
one. The second woman, younger than the first, is the comedian and side kick of
the first. The guests are being represented by the two other women on the mood
board. Guest one is being represented by the young adult with her thumbs
sticking up. She is kind, positive minded but broke for money. Therefore, I have an
image of a penny as that must be all she has. The quote image is what quote I
imaged her to think through every day. The second lady is Guest two. She is an
older lady, who is very wealthy with the image piled money. She is posh as you
can see by the furniture in the image that she is with. She is also lucky as seen by
the four-leaf clover image.
The talk show could be set out by the seating arrangement image, this looks very
comfortable and relaxed. I have also placed the microphone that is going to be
spoken into by the two hosts and the soundwaves that input to the live audience.
Mood Board Analysis
The second mood board is dedicated to representing the ads and sponsors of
the talk show. The first advertisement is about healthy eating, that explains
the fruit and veg image. This is colourful which is how I image their ad would
look on the television. Then the Fat to Fit transformation. This transformation
is what I imagine that healthy eating does to you. The second ad is
represented by the shopping bag and the 24-hour sign. These images are
what I imagine the supermarkets have, which they do. The third ad is
represented by the car and the free test drive image. I imagine that this cool
sounding advert will pop into peoples head these images.
In conclusion, all these images represent what I imagine things to look like,
even though, you cannot see them. These images are still inspiring to me
because they keep the people and objects alive in the memory of my head.
