Initial Reaction
• My initial reactions to the brief is that I’m quite
enthusiastic to the idea of giving free reign to create
a video game, although the timescale is rather
concerning as I may not be able to complete the
project to the scope and scale that I would ideally
reach. Currently ,from a majority of my ideas, I think I
could make some form of RPG as that gives many
options for different styles and themes in colour
schemes and world building. From the production
experiments I think that I’ll be good at working the
general flow of the animations.

Mechanics
During the overworld
camera will be of a top
down perspective
Battles are formed when
making contact with an
enemy, during battles
camera is over the shoulder

After battles players earn
Xp which is used to level
up attributes, and the
items sold for gold to buy
better equipment

Is there any repetition in the images you have collected?
Repeated colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood
• The majority of my images focus on vibrant and accentuated colour
scheme with fewer darker shades to highlight the brighter colours. I also
noticed that the landscapes were all exaggerated and have a heavy fantasy
feel
How will your mood board influence your final product?
• My mood bored will influence the art style of the five landscapes noted in
the prior mind map as well as the enemies fought in those locations
