2. Mood board:
Analysis of Mood board
• My mood board is a collection of aesthetics that
I would be emulating within my own fanzine.
The aesthetics I tried to capture within my
mood board is a neon/ vintage/ retro feel which
could make for a uniquely style to put use within
my fanzine.

3. Content:
• For my fanzine I will be focusing on the Japanese 1954 Godzilla and talking
about the production of, the content of the film, audience reception of the film
at the time and the long lasting effects of the film. Generally the content will
be presented in a minimalistic way and spread out across the page instead of
in standard column article. Images will be hand drawn where possible an
example is tracing over a well known screenshot and tracing over it and
scanning it back in.
• The written content will mostly all be focusing on the 54 film (with maybe
looking at how it connects into the following films) in the categories
mentioned in the following planning slide

4. Planning:
• The visual style will most likely be monochromatic with possibly one accent
colour, this will be done in order to reflect the films black and white nature.
• I will use a notes document full of timestamps of the film in order to quickly and
efficiently reference the film either to screenshot images for tracing or to
reference for the written content of the fanzine
• The planned pagination is cover(page 0), contents (pg 1), a fore word(pg2) ,
production/ creation of (pg 3&4), the films plot and themes(pg 5&6), resulting
effects of release (audience reception and franchise)(pg 7&8) and back cover(pg
9).
• It should be noted that pagination is not final and would most likely be changed
or extended in order to make room for aesthetic elements.

5. Production Schedule:
• Create InDesign file to place assets and written content
• Start writing article content in separate word document in order to place
within the InDesign file and start selecting notable screenshots/ promotional
art to trace later
• Re-watch 1954 Godzilla at some point if necessary
• Start production on 20/10/20
Contingency planning:
As far as contingency planning is concerned all work will be saved in multiple
places as well as a usb drive so that if another lockdown event occurs work can be
completed at home on personal pc
