This document provides weekly production diaries for creating a zine. Week 1 involved photographing and sorting images. Week 2 focused on designing the front and back covers using tools like rulers and 3D text. Week 3 was spent creating page assets and smoothing images. Week 4 involved writing articles for the zine. The remaining weeks consisted of assembling the finished assets and text into the completed zine pages without any issues.

5. Week 1
■ This week was spent photographing and sorting through the
various images took in the light box setup (pictured left).This
process was smooth sailing and didn’t take too much effort
to get right and even if they didn’t work out they could be
corrected in the post production segment.

6. Week 2
■ This week was spent making the front
and back cover of my zine. Some
methods that were used that added to
my piece were the rulers (upper image)
that were used in order to make assets
symmetrical, in line with the rule of
thirds and appropriately distant from
each other. Another Method used was
the 3D option for text, doing this
completely boosted the aesthetic style
of my piece and is something ill now be
using throughout

7. Week 3
■ During this week of production I was mostly creating page assets
and other imagery for the pages. During this process I used the
smudge tool and stamp tool to smooth out and make the images
appear less toy like –removing panel lines, removal of paint
chipping etc-. Differences presented left and right

8. Week 4
■ This week was spent writing the articles for
my fanzine, nothing really went wrong,
however it did take a while in order to make
sure that the writing was relevant, flowed
well and was grammatically correct

9. Remaining production
weeks
■ These remaining weeks were spent assembling the
assets and text created prior into the relevant pages.
And honestly I think it turned out great and there
were no hiccups at all.The process could just be
compared to a jigsaw puzzle as everything was there
and just needed to be put into place; no additional
image adjustments or colour corrections.
