When evaluating mass transit options for Indian cities, metro rail systems are given preference over surface systems due to the belief that road-based bus systems cannot cater to the capacity requirement as much as metro systems can. In addition, metro rails are perceived to have higher levels of comfort, speed, and efficiency than bus systems.
Recently, the government of India has launched the National Monetisation Pipeline (NMP). The NMP estimates aggregate monetisation potential of Rs 6 lakh crores through core assets of the Central Government, over a four-year period, from FY 2022 to FY 2025.
The plan is in line with Prime Minister's strategic divestment policy, under which the government will retain presence in only a few identified areas with the rest tapping the private sector.

Throughout history new infrastructures has been added to the existing infrastructures. By dividing infrastructure into different types I aim to highlight Europeans competitiveness in each of them. The infrastructures are bio-, nanoscale-, space-, virtual- and traditional infrastructures. Europe’s possibilities to be forerunners and create and have successful companies working in these infrastructures will be an important factor for our ability to prosper in society and to create new jobs. Infrastructure matters.
The document presented in the OECD Public Governance workshop in Seoul, gives an overview of India's public expenditure trends and patterns with focus on its development expenditure.
A Security Model for Virtual Infrastructure in the CloudEditor IJCATR
Accordin to easily manage cloud computing, flexibility and powerful resources on space, provide great potential for
improving cost efficiency. Cloud computin capabilities through the efficient use of shared hardware resources increases. Properties
mentioned above, incentive agencies and other users of their programs and sevices in this space with a series with a series of threats

of effectiveness and efficiency in the fight against offensive attacks mentioned above, partly expressed and tools for simulating and
measuring the efficiency of the system may be useful, recommended.
Evaluation of operational efficiency of urban road network using travel time ...eSAT Journals
Abstract
Efficiency of the road network system is analyzed by travel time reliability measures. The study overlooks on an important measure of
travel time reliability and prioritizing Tiruchirappalli road network. Traffic volume and travel time were collected using license plate
matching method. Travel time measures were estimated from average travel time and 95th travel time. Effect of non-motorized vehicle
on efficiency of road system was evaluated. Relation between buffer time index and traffic volume was created. Travel time model has
been developed and travel time measure was validated. Then service quality of road sections in network were graded based on
travel time reliability measures.
Keywords: Buffer Time Index (BTI); Average Travel Time (ATT); Travel Time Reliability (TTR); Buffer Time (BT).
Abstract Traffic congestion on city road networks is one of the main issues to be addressed by today’s traffic management schemes. The frequent traffic jams at major junctions call for an efficient traffic management system in place. The image sequences from a camera are analyzed using edge detection technique, object counting method and queue length estimation to obtain the most efficient technique. Subsequently, the number of vehicles at the intersection is evaluated and traffic is efficiently managed. The paper also proposes to implement a real-time emergency vehicle detection system. In case an emergency vehicle is detected, the lane is given priority over all the others. Using image-processing operations to calculate traffic density is cost effective as cameras are cheaper and affordable devices compared to any other devices such as sensors. Keywords: Edge detection, Object counting, vehicle queue length, traffic management, image processing.

Cosmetic shop management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
Buying new cosmetic products is difficult. It can even be scary for those who have sensitive skin and are prone to skin trouble. The information needed to alleviate this problem is on the back of each product, but it's thought to interpret those ingredient lists unless you have a background in chemistry.
Instead of buying and hoping for the best, we can use data science to help us predict which products may be good fits for us. It includes various function programs to do the above mentioned tasks.
Data file handling has been effectively used in the program.
The automated cosmetic shop management system should deal with the automation of general workflow and administration process of the shop. The main processes of the system focus on customer's request where the system is able to search the most appropriate products and deliver it to the customers. It should help the employees to quickly identify the list of cosmetic product that have reached the minimum quantity and also keep a track of expired date for each cosmetic product. It should help the employees to find the rack number in which the product is placed. It is also Faster and more efficient way.
Hierarchical Digital Twin of a Naval Power SystemKerry Sado
A hierarchical digital twin of a Naval DC power system has been developed and experimentally verified. Similar to other state-of-the-art digital twins, this technology creates a digital replica of the physical system executed in real-time or faster, which can modify hardware controls. However, its advantage stems from distributing computational efforts by utilizing a hierarchical structure composed of lower-level digital twin blocks and a higher-level system digital twin. Each digital twin block is associated with a physical subsystem of the hardware and communicates with a singular system digital twin, which creates a system-level response. By extracting information from each level of the hierarchy, power system controls of the hardware were reconfigured autonomously. This hierarchical digital twin development offers several advantages over other digital twins, particularly in the field of naval power systems. The hierarchical structure allows for greater computational efficiency and scalability while the ability to autonomously reconfigure hardware controls offers increased flexibility and responsiveness. The hierarchical decomposition and models utilized were well aligned with the physical twin, as indicated by the maximum deviations between the developed digital twin hierarchy and the hardware.

are treated by central statistical organization also as infrastructure.
13.
14. Power Sector
• The electricity sector in India had an installed capacity of
237.742 GW as of February 2014, the world's fourth largest.
• Captive power plants(it is associated with specific industrial
complexes, and their output is almost entirely consumed by that
industrial plant) generate an additional 39.375 GW.
• Non Renewable Power Plants constitute 87.55% of the installed
capacity, and Renewable Power Plants constitute the remaining
12.45% of total installed Capacity
15. • The power sector in India has undergone significant progress after
Independence.
• When India became independent in 1947, the country had a power
generating capacity of 1,362 MW.
• Hydro power and coal based thermal power have been the main
sources of generating
electricity.
• Generation and distribution of electrical power was carried out
primarily by private utility companies. Notable amongst them and still
in existence is Calcutta Electric.
16. • Power was available only in a few urban centers; rural areas and
villages did not have
electricity.
• After 1947, all new power generation, transmission and distribution
in the rural sector and the urban centers (which was not served by
private utilities) came under the purview of State and Central
government agencies. State Electricity Boards (SEBs) were formed in
all the states.
• In spite of the overall development that has taken place, the power
supply industry has been under constant pressure to bridge the gap
between supply and demand.
17. Structure of power sector
• Majority of Generation, Transmission and Distribution capacities are
with either public sector companies or with State Electricity Boards
(SEBs).
• Private sector participation is increasing especially in Generation and
Distribution - Distribution licences for several cities are already with the
private sector - Many large generation projects have been planned in
the private sector
18. Policy- Power sector
•100% FDI permitted in Generation, Transmission &Distribution - the
Government is keen to draw private investment into the sector
•Policy framework in place: Electricity Act 2003 and National Electricity
Policy 2005
19. • Incentives: Income tax holiday for a block of 10 year since the first 15
years of operation; waiver of capital goods import duties on mega
power projects (above1,000 MW generation capacity)
• Independent Regulators: Central Electricity Regulatory Commission
for Central PSUs and inter-State issues. Each State has its own
Electricity Regulatory Commission.
