Sitapura on JP-SWM
Railway line.
 Value of awarded work : 87.5 crore

1. To improve traffic condition.
2. It is also Benificial for Industrial area, nearby
Institute & Colonies.
3. To save a lot of precious time which was being
consume because of railway crossing.

9. PILE FOUNDATION
 Type of pile :- Friction pile
 Depth of piles = 25m
 Diameter of piles = 1.2m
 Distance between two piles = 3D = 3.6m
 Piling process :-
 Excavation through piling rig machine.
 Fill bentonite through bentonite feeder tank in excavated
hole to stabilize it.
 Place the reinforcement cage in excavated hole.
 Insert and attach tremie pipes in excavated hole.
 Attach the hopper at top of the tremi pipe with a lifting
cap.

10.  Close the hole of hopper at bottom by lifting cap and
fill concrete through TM truck.
 Lift the lifting cap from hopper and allow concrete to fill
the hole.
 Lift tremie pipe after each interval of concreting.

 A pile cap is a thick concrete mat that rests on
concrete piles. It distributes the load of structure
into piles.

 A pier is a structure which transfers the load coming
through girder to the pile foundation. It supports the
superstructure of bridge.
 Concreting of pier is done with the help of pump.

 Transit mixer :
 The transit mixer is a typical concrete mixer uses a
revolving drum to mix the components.

 A concrete pump is a machine used for transferring
liquid concrete by pumping.

29.  Hydra Crane :
 It is mainly used for lifting heavy things and transporting
them to other places.

30.  Piling rig machine :
 It is used for digging in pile foundation.

31.  Needle Vibrator (60 mm dia) :
 Needle vibrator is use for compaction of concrete after
placing it.

32.  Dump Truck :
 It is used for transport the material such as aggregate,
cement etc.
