4. In order to avoid chronic traffic jams, the cabinet of Bihar has
approved the construction of a flyover in the station road.
Actually this is the extension of ROB at G.P.O to Exhibition Road
through Bihar Rajya Pul Nirmaan Nigam Ltd. (BRPNNL).
The BRPNNL in turn has taken up the detail engineering of the
project through consultancy firm(S. P. Singla Constructions Pvt
Ltd ) having vast experience in this field. The work generally
includes survey, geotechnical investigation, traffic study and
planning & design.
5. According to the project details, the execution of
project is carried out in two phases. Both the
phases had already started.
The length of fly over is (854m +612m) and
(207m) ramp.

31. After the completion of this project, flyover would
benefit the commutators going to Kankarbagh and
Gandhi Maidan area from Mithapur Bus Stand.
This project will prove a great asset to people of
Patna as it will prevent chronic traffic jams gridlock
in areas like New Market, Patna Junction &
Exhibition Road. Hence a considerable amount of
fuel and time will be saved.
It will also enhance the Beauty of City PATNA.
