9. Ongoing initiatives
• 49 websites of Departments/Organizations/Local Bodies hosted in State Data Centre &
development of other 19 are under progress
• Out of 61 Local Bodies selected under AMRUT Scheme, GIGW websites of 10 Local Bodies are
refurbished & hosted and proposals for remaining are under consideration
Development of GIGW (Guidelines for Indian Government Websites) compliant Websites
• Proposals of applications development for provisioning of Electronic delivery of citizen centric
services are under consideration in two Local Bodies (Lalitpur & Jahangirabad)
Citizen Centric Applications
• Proposals on Smart City applications have been sent to Ghaziabad, Bareilly, Lucknow, Kanpur,
Agra, Varanasi Municipal Corporations
