2. There are rules that determine the order of multiple modifiers. Adjectives describing an object come before those describing size, age, shape, color, origin, and material.
3. Compound modifiers are made of multiple words like number + noun, noun + present/past participle, or adjective + past participle. They are usually hyphenated.
