The film Blind Light by Sarah Pucill is an experimental 16mm film that was presented as a part of the
Cinematheque s Studio DIM Cinema . This twenty two minute film, made in 2007, consists of a series
of long, slow shots of the sky from the interior of a studio loft. In these shots, the filmmaker gradually
adjusts the exposure and zoom, affecting the brightness levels and perspective. Pucill also controls the
shot by closing and opening the blinds on the windows being looked out of. Additionally, the audio on
the film is largely absent with only a few short comments and outside noise sporadically throughout.
This film creates a lonely and isolated atmosphere with it s use of durational shots, absence of action
and bare setting. Narration is also used to further this effect. For example, after the long period of
silence at the beginning of the film, the artist says in a calm voice I can t look, so I ll shut it out . The
nature of this phrase expresses a sense of defeat, which can be interpreted literally, in terms of the

Throughout World History, many atrocious and abominable things have happened to human beings
throughout time. Babies have been slaughtered in wars, people have been killed by severe natural
disasters, and people have even been eaten by cannibals. But nothing seems to come close in
comparison to the Transatlantic Slave Trade and what those people had to toil through. They were
mercilessly beaten, branded, and even considered less than human by their fellow humans. The slaves

These sadistic practices were needed to make sure that the slaves made it to their final destination
alive, whether or not they were in the best shape. Although the women were not chained down like the
men, they were horribly abused by the slave traders. The traders were allowed to rape them which led
to the women committing suicide by jumping overboard and drowning. Rape was not necessary to
scare those people into submission. Slave traders went beyond what was necessary to keep slaves.
Although at some points the slaves fought back and rebelled, the treatment of the slaves on ships

Varieties people enjoy eating what they want when they want. But all of that may come to an end soon
due to the government regulating our food. Some may agree with this decision while others may
strongly disagree. If regulating our food will please the government let them, it will only upset them in

There is a type bond that is made between a set people who want to go farther than being just
acquaintances. A healthy friendship contains respect, people who respect each other by means of equal
fashion. Friends should often care about the well being of the other person. Many friendships also
include acts, whether they are acts of kindness that work towards the best interest of the other without
requiring materialistic items in return. A healthy friendship also contains honesty.
An act of kindness between friends can be seen when a young man who recently broke up with the
girlfriend he was living with at that time and had nowhere else to go. The man s one buddy, who
ended up discovering that his friend was on the verge of being homeless decided to go over and help
him move out of his house into his house. The man s friend did not offer his assistance in the matter
because he was asked but rather because it was the right thing to do at the time. He never asked for
anything in return because he was helping a friend and it s the correct thing to do when you or

Glitazones are the new class of anti diabetic drugs that are the first to be able to manage glycaemia
goals. Troglitazone was first approved for the market in 1997, but it was withdrawn from the market
by 2000. After the withdrawal of troglitazone, rosiglitazone and pioglitazone were introduced in 1999
as potentially safer alternatives. However, currently rosiglitazone is under black box warning for
increased risk of cardiovascular disease and pioglitazone is in a nutshell as the drug required more
investigation. In this review, the potential ability to predict the adverse drug reactions (ADRs) are
examined. If it is possible to predict ADRs, should it be done in the future.

mellitus (non insulin dependent). Since 1921, drug therapy has been improved minutely and in 1950s
