Snowball from Animal Farm and Leon Trotsky s Roles in the...
My Research Question:
How was the affect of Leon Trotsky and Snowball?
Throughout time, people learned about history from books, websites, articles, and magazines to gain
their understandings of History. Leon Trotsky played an important role in the Russian Revolution and
so did the character of Snowball from the novel Animal Farm. Their life actions had a positive affect
towards history even though their goals were never accomplished.
Leon Trotsky
Leon Trotsky was the chairman of the Military Revolutionary Committee of the Petrograd Soviet. The
organization was that, under Lenin s direction, that shown the overthrow of the state which is called or

Snowball believes in a sustained revolution:
He claims that in demand to support and defend Animal Farm and toughen the certainty of Old Major
s dream of a life without humans, mixt up rebellions in other farms throughout England. Napoleon
always disagrees with Snowball s ideas because he doesn t want him to lead Animal Farm.
Snowball is eventually forced out of the farm when Napoleon uses his guard dogs to attack Snowball.
After that, he is blamed for issues of the farm, and it is claimed that he was in support of Mr. Jones at
the beginning. Even though he fought for Mr. Jones and the shorts offends are distorted to wounds
Napoleon perpetrated on him, those faulted of associating him are achieved after being required to
profess, or declare, and a compensation is proposed for his capture.
Snowball is a very imaginative and knowing pig that manipulated others to his side. It is never
revealed of what has happened to him after he escaped, although in the 1950s film adaptation it is
implied that the dogs killed him. Nevertheless, he is shown escaping the dogs and surviving in the
1999 live action film adaptation.
How does Snowball relate to Leon Trotsky?
Built on Leon Trotsky, Snowball is one if the 2 pigs who develop as leaders of the animals after Old
Major dies. Both, Trotsky and Snowball s similarities are both physical and mental for example:
The name Snowball reminds an image of whiteness,

Charter Schools Vs. Public Schools
At the foundation of the American public school system is the belief that every child deserves a
quality education. To this end, the public school system in America has undergone many reforms. One
of which has been charter schools. Charter schools are independent public schools of choice working
under the auspices of a charter and not governed by the board of education. The charter can be written
by parents, teachers, school administrators, community leaders, educational businesses, etc. It
determines the school s guiding principles, management and accountability systems. The state
approves the charter and provides funding for the school. Families choose these schools for their
children. ( Resistance Hinders Success, 2004) Charter schools differ from traditional public schools on
three basic principles: accountability, choice and autonomy. Charter schools are held accountable for
their ability to educate students, management of finances and handle operations. If they do not meet
the guidelines established by the charter they are closed. They give families a choice as to what school
their children will attend. Finally, charter schools have more autonomy than traditional public schools.
They are able to make their own decisions regarding curriculum and school governance and can focus
on academic achievement instead of bureaucracy. ( Resistance Hinders Success, 2004) Ray Budde
first introduced the idea of charter schools in the United States in 1974.

Blue Whale Persuasive Speech
The blue whale uses baleen in order to filter the speech. The blue wales are the largest vertebrate
animal. In a study that was reported on May 24 in Proceedings of the Royal Society B, Nicholas
Pyenson, the museum s curator of fossil marine mammals, and collaborators Graham Slater at the
University of Chicago and Jeremy Goldbogen at Stanford University, went back and found the
evolution of the size of whales in over thirty million years of history. They discovered that the huge
whales showed up along multiple branches in the family tree roughly two to three million years ago. A
reason for whales having those bigger body sizes is that by the increase of ice sheets located in
Northern Hemisphere, whales had to change the way they ontaimed food

Women s Role In Hinduism Essay
Historically speaking, women never had much status even though the world has evolved, women are
still not seen as equal to their male counterparts. With that said, women in Hinduism had a bit of an
advantage because they were viewed as equals in their religion. However, that view only lasted for a
short period of time. In Hinduism, women went from having access to the same rights as men and
being able to achieve high levels of spirituality to having all that taken away and being oppressed.
Hinduism is a complex and diverse religion, with a range of beliefs and numerous deities. One of the
many things that differed Hinduism from other religions was the role women had. The role of women
in Hinduism has been fluctuating since the start of the religion. Their status has undergone many
changes during various historical periods. At times, women were highly regarded and at times they
were suppressed. From the Vedic period up until today, their position and role has changed a great
deal.
Dating back to Vedic times, women and men were treated as equals in the Hindu religion. Women had
equal rights, access to education and had the opportunity to achieve high states of spiritualization.
Women were held at a high standard and had great importance in this society. ... Show more content

society. The Laws of Manu illustrates many roles women should have such as being a caretaker,
having to obey her husband and being an object of either her father s, husband s or son s possession.

Main Features of A Mosque
Ai) Describe the main features of a mosque
A mosque is mainly used as a place of worship for Muslims to pray to Allah. Not all mosques are the
same, they vary from place to place. Some mosques are big and expensive whilst some other mosques
are small and cheap. All mosques are different but are yet similar in some ways for example; all
mosques are a place of worship.
Some mosque have a tall minaret in which the Muezzin uses it to call the Adthaan, informing nearby
Muslims that the time of prayer has come and they must quickly start their prayer. This is one of the
most important features of a mosque because without the minaret the Muezzin would not be able to
call out the Adthaan, prevent many Muslims being able to tell if it is time ... Show more content on

Anyone can be an Imam but they all have to go through this process. Women, on the other hand, can
be Imams but can only lead the prayers for women and act as women congregates. In Islam, it is
prohibited for a woman to lead men in prayers but Islam does not prohibit a woman from teaching
men about Islam.
Aiii) The role of the Mosques
Mosques are also used as community centres where people can get married as you can in a church but
they will have Islamic vows rather than Christian traditional vows although they may be very similar.
Mosques sometimes hold evening schools sp that particularly children may have Islamic education in
an non Islamic country ( E.g. learning to read and write Arabic and understanding the teachings of
Islam and the Qu ran ). During the month of Ramadan an area of the Mosque is set aside for people
who cannot afford to buy food, break their fast with food provided by the Mosque, the breaking of fast
is called Iftar. In many Mosques there are charity boxes for Muslims to donate Zakah to either the
Mosque or to the poor. All Muslims are obliged to donate at least 2.5% of their wealth in order to help
to develop the Mosque so that more people can attend the Mosque for prayer and for education on
Islam.
Another role of a Mosque is to provide Islamic education so that the younger generation can be
educated on Islam. This is to ensure that when older

Summary Of Chapter 11 Sacco And Vanzetti
Chapter 11, Saco and Vanzetti, in After the Fact begins with a story of an armed robbery in a bank and
an armed robbery and murder to a man on the side of the road in Massachusetts during the time of the
nativist mood in America. The Braintree and Bridgewater crimes, in 1919 and 1920, seemed to show a
patterned and drew attention to Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti. Sacco and Vanzetti, two Italian
anarchists, where were soon arrested for the crimes. After a long trial, suspicious evidence and six
years of appeals the two were convicted and sentenced to the electric chair. Moving on in the chapter
we are introduced to another story, around the same time as the previous one, of employers going on
strike and radicals creating an uprising in the labor industries. These strikes lead to anarchist
bombings lead by Luigi Galleani who was also an Italian immigrant like Sacco and Vanzetti. These
bombs were sent to the houses of Generals, Supreme Court Justices, members of Congress and
mayors. Not during the time of Sacco s and Vanzetti s trial but later the two were found to be friends
with Luigi and connected to the bombings as well. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Grey Wolf Research Paper
Grey wolves are unique and beautiful creatures that are a major part of everyday life in the woods, or
anywhere in the wild really. They closely resemble dogs, and are part of the same family, and even act
like dogs when young, but they are not dogs. When they are young, they will chew on bones, play
with other pack members, and even play with each other if they re bored or hyper enough. When the
pups reach 3, they can either leave the pack to make their own, or stay. If they do decide to leave, they
can be killed by other wolves, coyotes, or hunters waiting for them to take a wrong turn in the woods.
Each wolf, when they re an adult, can reach up to 3 5 ft. in body length, and their tails can be 1 2 feet

They have been known to raid coyote dens and kill the pups, even though they are rarely eaten. There
is not a single record of a wolf being killed by a coyote, but they can bang together and chase down a
lone wolf if they are vulnerable. There are many diseases wolves can carry, like rabies, canine
distemper, canine parvovirus, infectious canine, hepatitis, papillomatosis, and canine coronavirus. If a
wolf is infected with something, they will show no fear, even towards humans, and will attack. Most
attacks are because a wolf has rabies. Bacterial diseases carried by grey wolves are brucellosis,
leptospirosis, Lyme disease, tularemia, anthrax, foot and mouth disease, and bovine tuberculosis.
Leptospirosis can be gotten from infected prey, and can cause a list of things, like vomiting, fever,
anorexia, and things to that scale. Aesop featured wolves in his tales, and his most famous is The Boy
Who Cried Wolf, which is a story about a boy who is told to watch sheep, and after many false alarms,
a wolf comes along and eats the sheep. The term to cry wolf is derived from this tale, and it is directed
at people who purposely raise false alarm. In the story Little Red Riding Hood (written by Charles
Perrault), it is said to have a bigger impact on wolves appearance than The Boy Who Cried

Descriptive Essay On Orsa Vesa
A Home to Many
The sun beats down on the land of Mesa Verde causing it to be a very hot and dry place, especially
when it is not monsoon season. Mesa Verde is comprised of many extensive cuestas which are made
of huge boulders and covered by a variety of trees, shrubs, and bushes. This environment provides a
home to many different species that stay in this national park, for example birds, rabbits, insects, etc.
During the morning at Mesa Verde, the pinyon jay and the Steller jay perch on the branches of the
Colorado pinyon pine or Utah juniper that are found all throughout the woodlands. They sit there
motionless, waiting and watching for little insects to wake up and start moving around on the ground.
The famished birds are ready to glide down at any moment from the branch and devour food. As the
birds grow tiresome of waiting for insects to wake up, they pick up little seeds that fall out of cones
that look like little brown roses and grow on the pinyon pine. The birds nibble on the little green
juniper berries that scatter the ground and the tree like polka dots. While the jays are collecting seeds
and berries, black billed magpies pass over them high in the sky. They plummet down to collect twigs
and needles from the pine or junipers.
With its talons full of collected twigs, magpies fly back to their nests that they carefully construct
hidden away in the holes above the alcoves in the sides of the cuestas. After forty days of building
their nests, they begin to lay

My Day In My Life
I woke up early, about 6 am, happy and relaxed. I was, however, disappointed that I hadn t dreamed of
the monkeys. I took my shower and brushed my teeth. Pleased with all my homework, I went
downstairs. I had a bacon sandwich and a cup of hot chocolate. Dad signed my guardian slip for the
school trip. I checked for my pencils, eraser, and pencil sharpener, and made sure that my book bag
was packed and all was intact. I dressed warmly, with an extra shirt underneath. Feeling so
comfortable in my outfit, I got into the car and waved to my mum. Dad dropped me off at school at 8

The only option I had was to go for creative thinking and art. The club met twice a week, and if you

woodland trips. The first thing I did during my second break was to go to the school office to register.
Hopefully, I would gain skills to develop robotic monkeys. It was a Tuesday, and there was a lesson.
The days for the lessons were Tuesdays and Fridays. I phoned my mum and told her about it. From her
reaction over the phone, it seemed she was very pleased. Happy that my parents would support me, I

building was attached to the main school, and I walked through the school parking lot in the loading

Advantages And Disadvantages Of Venture Capital Funds
VCs Who they are, who they fund in India.
Venture capital, as we use the term, refers to one type of private equity investing. Private equity
investments are investments by institutions or wealthy individuals in both publicly quoted and
privately held companies. Private equity investors are more actively involved in managing their
portfolio companies than regular, passive retail investors. The main types of financing included in
private equity investing are venture capital and management and leveraged buyouts.
Venture Capital Funding Process
Venture Capital financing is usually a five phased process, and may get extended subject to the
performance of the venture being funded. These five commonly found stages are as below:

Riflescope Research Paper
Before selecting a riflescope you must have it clear in your mind what the main purpose of the scope
is. Many people own more than one scope to handle the various uses to which their rifle may be put.
For example, you would not necessarily use the same riflescope for target shooting as you would
hunting moving big game.
Even if you have unlimited funds to buy the best, a high magnification target scope will not be good
for hunting small game that might be moving fast. First and foremost the scope brings the target
closer, enabling you to shoot more accurately but not to easily follow moving objects. A good scope
will also gather as much light as possible in order to offer good visibility of the target under variable
lighting conditions, and enable a hunter for example, to shoot accurately for as many hours in the ...

The Riflescope Reticule
You are offered a good range of reticule options these days, so check these out when selecting a
riflescope and choose one that suits you best. Not all reticules are the same for the way you sight, and
you might find a difference in accuracy between reticules.
5. Eye Relief
Eye relief is important for high powered rifles, and is the distance you can keep the scope away from
your eye and still maintain a full field of view. High powered rifles can have a hard recoil, or kick, and
a good eye relief can protect your eyes from recoil damage. Check whether or not the eye lens has a
soft covering to further protect your eye.
6. Riflescope Adjustments
When selecting a riflescope, check out the adjustments that are available. Windage and elevation
adjustments should preferably offer an audible click for each step so you don t have to take your eye
off the scope for a visual. A reasonably good riflescope should offer at least ¼ M.O.A. (Minute Of
Adjustment) which means ¼ inch adjustment for each 100 yards. This translates proportionately at
other distances, so it is equal to ½ inch at 200 yards and 1/8 inch at 50 yards.

Jetblue s Is Societal Aspects That Are Affected By...
JetBlue s is societal aspects that are affected by external forces as well. I would break it down into
four categories to mainly focus on this societal area. They are listed as follows: Economic,
Technological, Political Legal and Sociocultural. Looking at the economic aspect, the economy has
gotten much better since 2008 2009. There is more income being dispersed around the country. Also,
if you are looking at the current price for oil, that should not be an issue for airlines right now. The
technological aspect shows us how well the ticketing and self service check in are doing. Another
thing that could be helpful is even allowing credit cards to be used on flights for more purchases. The
Internet has become a great tool for our society. It allows us to even search around and find the
cheapest flights around. The political legal aspects that have an effect could be the fear of terrorists. I
know since 9/11, airplanes have been one of the safest ways of transportation with all the rules and
regulations. Another important part that of this aspect is the effect on oil because of certain internal
wars over in the Middle East. Finally, the sociocultural aspect shows us that people have different
opinions on certain topics. For example, I know many people are probably worrying about the Zika
Virus if they are on a plane that has come from a country that is known for having it or if they are
traveling to one of those countries. People want to be updated and know that they are in

Pros And Cons Of Agricultural Subsidies
In late 1920, early 1930 s, the government of the United States of America (USA) first initiated efforts
to control the agricultural economy during the great depression. During that period of time, farm
prices collapsed and therefore farmers hardly had any income. Subsidies are benefits given by the
state to specific groups needing financial aid in form of cash or tax reduction. Subsidies are often
considered to be in the interest of the general public. Agricultural subsidies therefore exist to stabilize
food prices, ensure a healthy food production, guaranteeing a farmer s basic income and in general to
strengthen the agricultural part of the economies gross domestic product (GDP) (encyclopedia.com,
agricultural subsidies). In reality however, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Since there are farmers with more financial opportunities, smaller farms would suffer from the
inequality that would be present, as they can not afford high priced equipment and machinery to
expand their production or to even invest in new crops. However, when the government decides on
subsidies, especially the smaller farms profit from the extra cash, as they can now afford to keep up
with the competition. This means that subsidies enable the smaller farms to produce at an optimal
level of production. Therefore, financial aids by the state also aim to prevent that there is a monopoly
of one farmer since a monopoly would damage the whole agricultural industry. In contrast to
monopoly, competition plays an important role, not only in the agricultural, but in any industry. A
healthy competition leads to a variety of products the consumer can choose from at an affordable price
since a high contestability leads to prices going down to average cost at some point because of the
constant undercutting in

The Pros And Cons Of The NFL Protests
NFL Protests: Counterproductive Free Speech
Arguably, when it comes to personal freedoms, Americans have the most as compared to other
industrialized nations. In the United States, (US) its citizens are guaranteed unalienable rights as put
down in The Constitution via its amendments. More than one might realize, Americans often take
these freedoms for granted only asserting them when someone else brings them to mind. Such is the
case now playing out in professional football stadiums across the country, as illustrated by the many
players in the National Football League (NFL) who choose to kneel or sit during the National Anthem
prior to the start of the game. While most Americans agree the players do have a right to protest, many
believe the time and place of these protests are the issue. When the observance of the National Anthem
takes place, players are on the field and in uniform, representing their teams and the league and
therefore are at work. When other American workers are at work, there is an expectation of specific
conduct as defined by a set of rules. This is also true for the NFL. While companies have various
reasons for implementing these rules, they are, in fact designed to protect the company and its assets.
Therefore, workplace policies such as limiting free speech, are necessary and beneficial not only to
create and maintain an environment where employees can focus on their jobs without unnecessary
distraction, but also to protect the company, its

Technology And The Digital Revolution
Cultural heritage sites are spaces full of rich culture and innovation, providing abundant opportunities
for visitors to learn and explore. They are valued for their ability to broaden knowledge, expand minds
and deliver new experiences to sites of cultural and historical value. Digital technology is being used
to combat some of the main problems that cultural heritage sites face, including inaccessibility, the
lack of connection between visitors and objects, and the safety of objects during travelling exhibitions.
No longer bound to a specific site or to physical limitations, technology is allowing modern museums
to create unique experiences and encourage visitor participation in unprecedented ways. Increased
access to the internet has the benefit of online sources being instantly available to anyone, anywhere,
giving entertainment, higher levels of connectivity, shared knowledge, and the ability to attract
younger and more diverse audiences. Spaces of cultural heritage have always shown the changes and

How Corporations Really Reflect Our Demands
Corporations perfectly reflect our demands. We are the corporations. If corporations are evil, then evil
are us (McKeen).
Consumers have heard endless negative stories about American corporations, such as money, power,
and influence converge in corporate America and with these forms of power come opportunities for
greed, exploitation, and abuse (Ferris Stein 335). However, when the consumers compromise with the
corporations power, they unintendedly make these system grow bigger. Conglomerates, anyway, are
also organized by human beings and shaped by American culture. While corporations have strong
influence on the public tastes and opinions, consumers also have strong impacts on them and are the

day of an anti corporations member. With humorous tone, Ecke has illustrated the fact that
corporations also give benefits and advantages to consumers life. The negative feelings, such as
hatred, tend to lead them to reject all bright sides of the problem.
Corporations, nevertheless, are populated by humans, and their employees also demand better lives.
The cliché ridden stories about evil corporations blindfold consumers eyes from positive stories
regarding to corporations genuine charities, philanthropies, and altruism. The story about the Sandler

terrorist attack that destroyed the World Trade Center in New York, this firm suffered catastrophic
losses; sixty six of 171 partners and employees died in the towers, including one of its founders and
key members in the organization. The survivors, including Jimmy Dunne, struggled to get over the

In this case, Carbolic Smoke Ball Company has published an advertisement in London newspaper to
promote the use of the Carbolic Smoke Ball to prevent influenza. In the advertisement, the company
offered £ 100 to the people, who bought the smoke balls and used them according the instructions
given, but still contracted influenza. Mrs Carlill purchased the smoke balls after she read the
advertisement. She used them according the directions, but nevertheless caught influenza. She claimed
for the £ 100 which promised by the company but they refused to pay her. The court had to decide
whether an offer that made to the world at large is valid to accept by an individual who read the
advertisement or not. The court judged that the offer made to the whole world at large is the
acceptance of the offer by everyone who knew about it. Acceptance is an agreement on the terms of an
offer. It must be made when the offer is still present. Terms of acceptance must be unanimous with the
offer and cannot be conditional. It can only come from the person to whom the offer was made. Apart
from that, acceptance must be communicated with the offeror and no certain form is necessary

The objective of the experiment was to synthesize a sample of cyclohexene by using an E1 reaction,
which involved cyclohexanol.
Procedure Part A Preparation of Cyclohexene
Prior to beginning the procedure, a distillation setup was constructed in order to prepare for a later
step in the procedure; a diagram of the construction was included in Figure 1.A. In a clean 50 mL
Erlenmeyer flask, 5 mL of water were placed, and, with extreme caution, 4.0 mL (8.0 g, 0.08 mol) of
concentrated sulfuric acid were added to the flask while swirling; it was emphasized that this acid can
be highly corrosive and should be handled with care, especially while pouring it into the water1. It
was observed that the flask began to heat up as the acid was added, and began to release a gas for a
brief moment. Afterwards, the diluted acid was allowed to cool to about room temperature and 3.2 mL
(3.0 g, 0.030 mol) of cyclohexanol were added to the mixture. The contents of the flask were carefully
transferred to a 25 mL round bottom flask that was attached to the distillation setup. The contents were
distilled at a steady pace, making sure that all the junctions and flasks were clasped appropriately in
order to avoid any accidents. The distillation was allowed to continue until the liquid found in the
starting flask turned black and began to emit a white gas. It was noted that at around 53 °C distillate
began to form, and at around 92 °C the liquid turned black. Approximately 2.8 mL of distillate

Reflection Paper On My Diet
Summary I had such an unhealthy diet before but my diet has changed since I made a few plans for
the Journal #1. And I was pretty good to keep it until when I just finished the Journal #2. Most of them
are going pretty well still now too but recently I have something wrong on my diet again. Even if I did
not plan such a big thing, to keep everything that I planned was a little difficult because I had been
having the unhealthy diet for a pretty long time which means it takes time to change my old habits. I
just realized that I am getting to return to my old habit and I have to plan again to improve it.
Challenges I realized that I am getting to return to my old diet habits and I was thinking about what
cause that. And I think the reason could be my schedule of the school because I realized that I usually
take food at home or school and I do not take an instant food at home anymore. It means the school is
the only place that I take food except for home. One of my challenges that I made was that taking a
breakfast and I still keep that because I could buy homemade Korean food that composed of a light
soup with a few side dishes which are very healthy food for every week. But at the school, I always
have two classes that from 8 or 9 a.m. to around 3 or 4 p.m. during the weekdays and I should take a
lunch at school. But, in the school I do not have many choices for food. So, I just take food for satiety
and I cannot digest well and it also cause that I take dinner at late night.

On Thursday, April 21, 2016, I attended a concert of the MGA Chamber Singers, along with about

director Rebecca Lanning and pianists Gail Pollock and Tom Rule presented their musical ensemble at

The Black Cat Figurative Language Essay
Edgar Allan Poe, to many, is the father of modern day horror. His famous The Masque of the Red
Death tells a story of death itself invading the safety of one s home. The Cask of Amontillado shares
the tale of a man s grudge against a former friend who had insulted him, and the punishment that
ensues. In another tale, The Black Cat , a story of a kind man turned brutal due to alcoholism is told.
In many of his stories, including the three previously stated, the use of various literary tools is present.
Such appearance of these literary terms has enhanced his writings, allowing his horrific stories to
become what he is remembered for. Out of all of the terms in his works, however, figurative language
best represents Poe s themes of murder, cruelty, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
When speaking of the Red Death, it is said, He had come like a thief in the night. Describing the Red
Death s arrival as like a thief in the night allows readers to infer how quickly he came, stole something
of importance the life of men, in this case , and left. Near the beginning, the passage illustrates the
signs of the Red Death s Presence. The scarlet stains...were the pest ban which shut him out from the
aid and from the sympathy of his fellow men. The scarlet stains, blood, could not literally shut away
men to keep them from health, but their appearance disturbed and frightened others, leading to the
victim being left to a cruel, lonely death. Later on, a significant part of the story is explained when the
story tells, It was toward the close of the fifth or sixth month of his seclusion, and while the pestilence
raged most furiously abroad, that the Prince Prospero entertained his thousand friends at a masked ball
of the most unusual magnificence. This chilling short story truly portrays Poe s main themes

Perfection In Dead Poets Society
Did you know, in today s society, everyone suffers. Why? Because of the idea that there is a perfect
way to be a human. The three stories, Dead Poets Society, A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings ,
and Those Who Walk Away from Omelas show how the ideas of perfection create suffering in society.
In Dead Poets Society, Neil, one of the main characters, is stuck between meeting his father s
standards of life, and doing what he wants to do. Neil s father wants him to become a doctor, or a
lawyer, or have a professional career. He basically forces Neil to do this, so Neil doesn t have any
freedom. Because of this, Neil commits suicide. The ideas of perfection are kind of like what Neil s
father does in this story. The ideas cage a person, forcing them to be perfect, even though it is
something they can never do. When someone isn t perfect, and is different than society s standards of
a human, terrible things can ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Everyone in the city is happy, and nothing can go wrong in their lives. But one child, who is trapped in
a closet underneath the city is unlike the people above. The child is malnourished, feeble minded, and
in poor shape overall. People from above come down to the closet once in awhile just to look at the
poor child. Some kick and abuse the child, while others reluctantly feed it. After the visit, some of the
people are angry, and confused about why this child has to suffer, and a few leave the city because of
the treatment of the child. The child could symbolize the people who are different than the majority of
society. Because of the difference between the majority and minority, the minority is treated terribly.
Since being different is detrimental to society s ideals of perfection, Society will treat the people who
are different badly. A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings , by Gabriel Marquez, also shows this idea
of how society treats people who a different in a negative

has many explanations and possibilities on how life on other planets can easily be real. Extraterrestrial
life can be many things such as plants or living bacteria. Astronomers have proven that there is water

Prohibition arose from the Temperance Movement during the early twentieth century as tensions arose
between modernists and traditionalists. The Temperance Movement was one of the many movements
of the Progressive Era, in which the traditionalists, often the older, more traditional, people living in
rural America, battled the young, secular, and scientific modern era that was gaining momentum
throughout urban America. The traditionalists supported Temperance because they believed that
alcohol was the root of the evils of the modern world, and that without alcohol, people would leave

This is mainly because of the services the organizations provide, the fear they cause, the indistinct
information available about them, and their national level of organization. In order to gain influence in
a community, criminal organizations will provide services that the people within that community
might want, for a cost: immunity from any actions taken against organized crime. In return for helping
fund a politician, help a police officer with the bills, or even help the average citizen or businessperson
overcome a problem. The only requirement is that in exchange for that service, the person must be
willing to ignore the organization s illegal actions (Ruth 114). Organized crime also utilizes fear to
control the community by selectively fulfilling threats to give the appearance of the ability to fulfill
any threats that the organization makes. The organization s use the appearance of absolute power to
cause continued loyalty, adherence to extortion schemes and other activities, and to discourage
witnesses, while the selective nature of fulfilling threats keeps law enforcement and the general public
from taking notice of the organization. Organized crime also remains hidden from the public eye
because the public and the government only focus on one aspect of organized crimes revenues, which
allows the organizations to profit from a broad range of criminal activities even while the government
or public attempt to stop the revenues from one source, making it very difficult for the government to
stop organized crime from being a profitable business (Ruth 115). The criminal organizations have
also followed in the footsteps of industrial corporations and have grown to encompass territory

Moral Absolutism
Moral Absolutism a) Explain what is meant by Moral Absolutism. (25)
Moral absolutism is an ethical theory which believes that there are absolute standards against which
moral questions can be judged, and that certain actions are either right or wrong. Moral absolutists
might, for example, judge slavery, war, dictatorship, the death penalty, or child abuse to be absolutely
immoral regardless of the situations or beliefs of a culture that engages in these practices. Moral
absolutism adopts the theory that certain actions are moral or immoral regardless of the circumstances
in which they occur.
Absolutists consider that the Ten Commandments, found in the book of Exodus, are rules which
should never be broken no matter what. For example, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
7 million people died because of their decision, just as a man would die if I decided to shoot him in
the head.
Louis Pojman made the point that a moral absolutist doesn t necessarily have to believe that every
single moral law is universally applicable. Instead, they could believe that one particular moral
principle is non negotiable; therefore making an ethical theory absolute. If we coincide with this, we
could be absolute about one thing, like committing adultery, and relative about something else, like
lying. However, contrary to Pojman s idea, that isn t all that absolute as we would probably end up
being more relative.
The ethical theory of moral absolutism has raised many arguments since Plato produced the Theory of
the Forms. Philosophers have argued over it for centuries; whether it is correct, whether we should be
absolutists or relativists or whether we bypass both of these theories and decide our actions based on
virtuous people.
The one thing we should be able to agree on, is that, as human beings, we should be making decisions
for ourselves on how to live our own lives, not how other people should live their lives.
b) Moral absolutism cannot be justified. Discuss. (10)
Moral absolutism can be justified, but only partly. I think that humanity should follow a certain set of
rules, like Do not kill and Do not steal. However, certain situations could arise that

video the class watched, showed video footage of the aftermath of some earthquakes that have
happened in history. The video showed destruction of buildings, and how earthquakes can cause
tsunamis and the destruction that tsunamis also cause. The point of this video was to show the students
how important the engineering of building is, and got them to start thinking about their own bridges
and how they can withstand an earthquake. We did not directly discuss bridges this week though, our
focus was primarily on earthquakes.
When we broke up into our teams, my team was trying to answer two specific questions; what are the
effects of an earthquake? And can we build earthquake proof buildings. I worked with two boys in the
class, Kendall and Sean to help answer these questions. To answer these questions each of the students
had a laptop and used Google Classroom to access links to websites the teachers provided to answer
these questions. We discussed what the effects of an earthquake are, this included destruction of
buildings, fatalities,

Disposable People Summary
In Disposable People, Kevin Bales tells the story of one man working as a slave in a Pakistani brick
kiln: His brother in law had left the kiln in search of better work, as a result this man was taken
captive by the owner of the kiln where the brother in law had worked. I had never been to this kiln
before in my life and I had never worked there; I didn t owe this man any money ... The kiln owner
just said that was tough, he was holding my brother and me as ransom against my brother in law s
debt. At the kiln they made me work and told me that if I tried to escape they would beat me or shoot
me. Bales also describes how victims are entrapped in charcoal production in Brazil: Recruiters, called
gatos(cats), come to the abundant slums in eastern

Clinton had a way of explaining things in a way that made people believe him. The Republican
candidate was George H.W Bush. Wealthy billionaire Ross Perot also ran as an independent. People
were having trouble getting behind the reelection of Bush due to tax raises and the fact that Bush did
not act on the current recession going through the country. Perot took votes from both candidates with
his pledge of patriotism and budget balance but due to his leaving and re entering the election, people
had trust problems. Clinton s campaign was mainly focused on economic issues and the Reagan Bush
deficit. He emphasized the economic struggles the younger generations would be stuck with. A slogan
posted outside Clinton headquarters read, It s the economy, stupid. Clinton received twice as many
electoral votes as Bush and a 43% popular vote. Perot got a popular vote of 19%. During the
campaign of his second term, Clinton faced the bleak reality that he might not win. Many of his
promises fell through and Republicans were head of both houses of Congress. The Republican
candidate was Robert Dole. Ross Perot tried again for the presidency but did not receive as much
attention as the previous election. Clinton became the candidate of family values which got him the
suburban votes. The press tried to make stories but even though it embarrassed the Democratic party,
it did not change the public mind about Dole. Clinton won with more than twice as many

The Long Way Home Analysis
The Long Way home was written by David Laskin, a passionate reader who graduated from Harvard
College in 1975 with a degree in literature and history. Laskin in recent years has been writing about
non fiction events in which people are thrown into situations they cannot control, such as war, horrific
weather, and genocide. In The Long Way Home, Laskin did not hold back details from the reader. His
focus on the details are what made the monograph so impactful, and with that, they give the reader a
very good sense of what these individuals in past time hardships had to deal with. The horrors of the
immigration boats, coming to an America that was nothing like they were told it was, and the
unimaginable mental destruction of war; All of these ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The same year Meyer had also been enlisted just only five years after coming to America. Meyer s
experience on the front lines began when he was called in as a replacement for a man who bled too
much to keep fighting. He was now part of America s big offensive. His first night of active combat
consisted of old trenches and bomb shell torn land. There was little German resistance... There was no
other sign of life (pg. 250). That night there was harsh rains and no fires could be built. He spent the
night cold and wet, but he was alive. Epifanio s army life came differently in a sense. His division
early on in the summer had joined with British Forces. His fellow comrades kept talking about how
the front lines weren t so bad unless you were at Ypres. Turns out that s exactly where they ended up.
Laskin quotes a soldier I can t describe the awfulness of war ... As most men say, it is not war, it is
slaughter. Don t go near Ypres (pg. 230). Epifanio had it rough; He was amongst the toughest lines of
battle known amongst men at the time, and every combat soldier that thought they wouldn t see action,
did not get off easily in the autumn of 1918. Both men experienced hell, and while they were on
different fronts, they both shared a life known as a soldier s

Explain The Sequence And Rate Of Each Aspect Of...
Unit 1.
Assessment Criteria 1.1.1.
Explain the sequence and rate of each aspect of development from birth 19 years.
At birth a baby relies on sight and touch for their intellectual development, they have limited
language, and all information is processed visually, as a baby grows they develop intellectually by
participating in imaginative play ie a box becomes a car or train or plane. They will also imitate and
explore new behaviours and forms of play, their confidence will grow as they near the age of 3 years
old, but will still seek reassurance from their parents and carers.
Between the ages of 3 and 7 years old a child will still be processing information visually, along side
this their language skills and thought process will develop, which will have a huge effect on how they
think and interact with others.
As a child progress towards the age of 12 years old they will become less egocentric, and more
understanding of others feelings, thoughts, opinions, and beliefs, specific individual interests will also
develop at this time.
During the teenage years they will become responsible for their own thoughts, words and actions. A
capacity for higher order reasoning will develop, and individual personalities will appear and form.
They will be able to combine and classify items in a more sophisticated manner, and begin to consider
their futures. Support, guidance and help, on moral, ethical, social, economic and cultural issues, at
these stages of development, can have a huge

How The Social Determinants Of Health Have A Direct Impact...
Education has an imperative correlation to health outcomes. The following presented case study will
demonstrate an example of how the social determinants of health have a direct impact on health status.
Mrs. Smith is a 68 year old female who was bad a diagnosis of type I diabetes for 37 years. She has
developed a pressure ulcer on her left foot, which has increasingly worsened and become necrotic in
certain areas. She has had uncontrolled diabetes for many years and often does not prescribe to her

This is often related to the fact that education increases income, employment and provides greater job
security. Education also produces enhanced literacy. This allows for individuals to better comprehend
the societal aspects that impact their health. Additionally, by having greater literacy, a patient can
advocate for their health, implement healthier lifestyle choices and seek out resources to enhance their
health (Mikkonen, Raphael, 2010). The literature also demonstrates that with poor education there are
increase hospitalization rates, increased use of emergency services and medication are not taken as
directed (blackboard). Therefore Mrs. Smith was admitted to hospital for a foot ulcer due to
complications related to diabetes mellitus.
Recommendations for Change at Level of HCP
The recommendations for change to practice at the level of the provider would include first treating
the underlying problem that Mrs. Smith was admitted for. According to the literature, a progressively
worsening diabetic foot ulcer involves implementing a multitude of strategies to prevent amputation of
the limb. This allow for decreased rates in mortality and can increase quality of life. Adequate wound
management such as debridement, and offloading techniques should be instilled. Furthermore,
education by the provider would be of critical importance for Mrs. Smith in terms of consistent foot
care and management of her disease process (Yazdanpanah, Nasiri, Adarvishi, 2015). Due

Tone in The Destruction of Sennacherib
Tone in The Destruction of Sennacherib In Lord Byron s poem The Destruction of Sennacherib the
narrator s tone is one of amazement. It s clear to see that he is amazed a how quickly and easily the
huge enemy army is wiped out. He says that the enemy s army was as numerous as the leaves on the
trees and that their spears shined like the stars on the sea , but all the angel of death had to do was
spread his wings to dispose of them. The speaker seems to be in awe of how little effort it took the
death angel to wipe them out, because he says that all the angel had to do was breath on them and they
died. Finally, he seems to be in awe of how total the destruction of the enemy was, saying that their
idols broke and that their ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

the fact that no one had blown any trumpets to sound an attack, not a single person had picked up their

about the army, for he mentions the Assyrian city as well, saying that the widows were crying loudly,
all the idols were broken, and their might

What Role Does Fate Play In Macbeth
How Is Fate Decided? Fate played a crucial role throughout the story of Macbeth. From the time of
the three witches telling of the prophecy, Macbeth decided to take fate into his own hands. These
decisions ultimately lead to guilt, insanity and finally Macbeth s demise.
To start, the initial telling of the prophecy that started it all. It stated that Macbeth would become the
Thane of Cawdor, and then would ascend to be king. This prophesy also indicated that Banquo would
be the father of a future generation of kings, but would not be a king himself. This prophecy begins
Macbeth s quest for power. When Lady Macbeth hears this prophecy she becomes obsessed with the
idea of her husband becoming king and she develops a plan to make it happen ... Show more content

In Macbeth hallucinations and the decent into madness are shown as a result. As Macbeth and Lady
Macbeth finally begin to seal their fate, they did not take into account the consequences of their
actions and only looked ahead at the inevitable reward. They ultimately wanted to make sure their fate
was sealed as monarchs. In doing so, they became incredibly guilt stricken, proving that no sin goes
unpunished and showcasing the ultimate power of guilt. In Act I Lady Macbeth says that, A little water
clears us of this deed (II, II, 67) right after she and Macbeth carried out the murder of King Duncan.
However, in Act V those words come to haunt her as she hallucinates Duncan s blood on her hands
and is trying to wash it off while she is sleep walking, Out, damned spot! Out, I say! One, two. Why,
then, tis time to do t. Hell is murky! Fie, my lord, fie! A soldier, and afeard? What need we fear who
knows it, when none can call our power to account? yet who would have thought the old man to have
had so much blood in him (V, I, 25 29). Macbeth also has his share of hallucinations steaming from
guilt beginning with a bloody dagger that appears to him after he murders King Duncan, Is this a
dagger which I see before me, the handle toward my hand? Come, let me clutch thee. I have thee not,
and yet I see thee still. Or art thou not, fatal vision, sensible to feeling as to sight? Or art thou but a
dagger of the mind, a false creation, proceeding from the heat oppressed brain? I see thee yet, in form
as palpable as this which now I draw (II, I, 33 43). Macbeth s hallucination of Banquo s ghost
appearing at the banquet after Macbeth had him killed proves how guilty Macbeth felt inside. As the
ghost shook his head at Macbeth in disappointment, Macbeth exclaimed, Thou canst not say I did it.
Never shake thy gory locks at me (III, IV,

The Importance Of Grief Counseling
Grief counseling is a much needed field in the new millennia. As population grow and expand, races
collide in culture, religion, and grief. It is imperative that Pastors, leaders, and average society
understand the dynamics of grief and suffering. More important, counselors must learn how to balance
their lives and the ones they chose to consul. Grief counselors need to be compassionate, attentive, yet
balanced in order to be an effective treatment for their clients. Understanding how to conduct an
assessment and intervene with bereaved children, adolescents, adults, and families are important skills
for professionals working in the field of social work, nursing, school and pastoral counseling,
psychology, and other helping professions (Pomeroy, Garcia). A grief counselor s main objective is to
help individuals or families reach closure over the loss or death of a loved one and begin the process
of restoring their lives to a productive means. Each client or family is different and knowing how to
connect with the client s culture and religious quarries can be draining. Yet, respect of the client s
ideology is essential to creating a healing environment. First, grief counselors must be compassionate.
As the care provided to the dying has matured over the past 30 years with the establishment of the
hospice movement, as well as Right to Die societies, it was inevitable that a new wave of writings
would be needed to explain the process of dying to generations unfamiliar with

Throughout time, people learned about history from books, websites, articles, and magazines to gain their understandings of History. Leon Trotsky played an important role in the Russian Revolution and so did the character of Snowball from the novel Animal Farm. Their life actions had a positive affect towards history even though their goals were never accomplished. Snowball believes in a sustained revolution: He claims that in demand to support and defend Animal Farm and toughen the certainty of Old Major s dream of a life without humans, mixt up rebellions in other farms throughout England. Napoleon always disagrees with Snowball s ideas because he doesn t want him to lead Animal Farm. Snowball is eventually forced out of the farm when Napoleon uses his guard dogs to attack Snowball. After that, he is blamed for issues of the farm, and it is claimed that he was in support of Mr. Jones at the beginning. Even though he fought for Mr. Jones and the shorts offends are distorted to wounds Napoleon perpetrated on him, those faulted of associating him are achieved after being required to profess, or declare, and a compensation is proposed for his capture. Nevertheless, he is shown escaping the dogs and surviving in the 1999 live action film adaptation. How does Snowball relate to Leon Trotsky? • 3. Charter Schools Vs. Public Schools At the foundation of the American public school system is the belief that every child deserves a quality education. To this end, the public school system in America has undergone many reforms. One of which has been charter schools. Charter schools are independent public schools of choice working under the auspices of a charter and not governed by the board of education. The charter can be written by parents, teachers, school administrators, community leaders, educational businesses, etc. It determines the school s guiding principles, management and accountability systems. The state approves the charter and provides funding for the school. Families choose these schools for their children. ( Resistance Hinders Success, 2004) Charter schools differ from traditional public schools on three basic principles: accountability, choice and autonomy. Charter schools are held accountable for their ability to educate students, management of finances and handle operations. If they do not meet the guidelines established by the charter they are closed. They give families a choice as to what school their children will attend. Finally, charter schools have more autonomy than traditional public schools. They are able to make their own decisions regarding curriculum and school governance and can focus on academic achievement instead of bureaucracy. ( Resistance Hinders Success, 2004) Ray Budde first introduced the idea of charter schools in the United States in 1974. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

With that said, women in Hinduism had a bit of an advantage because they were viewed as equals in their religion. However, that view only lasted for a short period of time. Mesa Verde is comprised of many extensive cuestas which are made of huge boulders and covered by a variety of trees, shrubs, and bushes. This environment provides a home to many different species that stay in this national park, for example birds, rabbits, insects, etc. During the morning at Mesa Verde, the pinyon jay and the Steller jay perch on the branches of the Colorado pinyon pine or Utah juniper that are found all throughout the woodlands. The famished birds are ready to glide down at any moment from the branch and devour food. As the birds grow tiresome of waiting for insects to wake up, they pick up little seeds that fall out of cones that look like little brown roses and grow on the pinyon pine. The birds nibble on the little green juniper berries that scatter the ground and the tree like polka dots. While the jays are collecting seeds and berries, black billed magpies pass over them high in the sky. They plummet down to collect twigs and needles from the pine or junipers. I would break it down into four categories to mainly focus on this societal area. They are listed as follows: Economic, Technological, Political Legal and Sociocultural. Looking at the economic aspect, the economy has gotten much better since 2008 2009. There is more income being dispersed around the country. Also, if you are looking at the current price for oil, that should not be an issue for airlines right now. The technological aspect shows us how well the ticketing and self service check in are doing. Another thing that could be helpful is even allowing credit cards to be used on flights for more purchases. The Internet has become a great tool for our society. It allows us to even search around and find the cheapest flights around. The political legal aspects that have an effect could be the fear of terrorists. I know since 9/11, airplanes have been one of the safest ways of transportation with all the rules and regulations. Another important part that of this aspect is the effect on oil because of certain internal wars over in the Middle East. The Pros And Cons Of The NFL Protests NFL Protests: Counterproductive Free Speech Arguably, when it comes to personal freedoms, Americans have the most as compared to other industrialized nations. In the United States, (US) its citizens are guaranteed unalienable rights as put down in The Constitution via its amendments. More than one might realize, Americans often take these freedoms for granted only asserting them when someone else brings them to mind. Such is the case now playing out in professional football stadiums across the country, as illustrated by the many players in the National Football League (NFL) who choose to kneel or sit during the National Anthem prior to the start of the game. While most Americans agree the players do have a right to protest, many believe the time and place of these protests are the issue. When the observance of the National Anthem takes place, players are on the field and in uniform, representing their teams and the league and therefore are at work. When other American workers are at work, there is an expectation of specific conduct as defined by a set of rules. This is also true for the NFL. While companies have various reasons for implementing these rules, they are, in fact designed to protect the company and its assets. Therefore, workplace policies such as limiting free speech, are necessary and beneficial not only to create and maintain an environment where employees can focus on their jobs without unnecessary distraction, but also to protect the company, its ... Mrs Carlill purchased the smoke balls after she read the advertisement. She used them according the directions, but nevertheless caught influenza. The court had to decide whether an offer that made to the world at large is valid to accept by an individual who read the advertisement or not. The court judged that the offer made to the whole world at large is the acceptance of the offer by everyone who knew about it. Acceptance is an agreement on the terms of an offer. It must be made when the offer is still present. Terms of acceptance must be unanimous with the offer and cannot be conditional. It can only come from the person to whom the offer was made. • 24. Sample Of An Experiment On A Lab Preparation Of... The objective of the experiment was to synthesize a sample of cyclohexene by using an E1 reaction, which involved cyclohexanol. Procedure Part A Preparation of Cyclohexene Prior to beginning the procedure, a distillation setup was constructed in order to prepare for a later step in the procedure; a diagram of the construction was included in Figure 1.A. In a clean 50 mL Erlenmeyer flask, 5 mL of water were placed, and, with extreme caution, 4.0 mL (8.0 g, 0.08 mol) of concentrated sulfuric acid were added to the flask while swirling; it was emphasized that this acid can be highly corrosive and should be handled with care, especially while pouring it into the water1. It was observed that the flask began to heat up as the acid was added, and began to release a gas for a brief moment. Afterwards, the diluted acid was allowed to cool to about room temperature and 3.2 mL (3.0 g, 0.030 mol) of cyclohexanol were added to the mixture. The contents of the flask were carefully transferred to a 25 mL round bottom flask that was attached to the distillation setup. The contents were distilled at a steady pace, making sure that all the junctions and flasks were clasped appropriately in order to avoid any accidents. The distillation was allowed to continue until the liquid found in the starting flask turned black and began to emit a white gas. It was noted that at around 53 °C distillate began to form, and at around 92 °C the liquid turned black. Approximately 2.8 mL of distillate ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

And I was pretty good to keep it until when I just finished the Journal #2. Most of them are going pretty well still now too but recently I have something wrong on my diet again. Even if I did not plan such a big thing, to keep everything that I planned was a little difficult because I had been having the unhealthy diet for a pretty long time which means it takes time to change my old habits. I just realized that I am getting to return to my old habit and I have to plan again to improve it. Challenges I realized that I am getting to return to my old diet habits and I was thinking about what cause that. And I think the reason could be my schedule of the school because I realized that I usually take food at home or school and I do not take an instant food at home anymore. It means the school is the only place that I take food except for home. One of my challenges that I made was that taking a breakfast and I still keep that because I could buy homemade Korean food that composed of a light soup with a few side dishes which are very healthy food for every week. But at the school, I always have two classes that from 8 or 9 a.m. to around 3 or 4 p.m. during the weekdays and I should take a lunch at school. His famous The Masque of the Red Death tells a story of death itself invading the safety of one s home. The Cask of Amontillado shares the tale of a man s grudge against a former friend who had insulted him, and the punishment that ensues. In another tale, The Black Cat , a story of a kind man turned brutal due to alcoholism is told. In many of his stories, including the three previously stated, the use of various literary tools is present. The three stories, Dead Poets Society, A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings , and Those Who Walk Away from Omelas show how the ideas of perfection create suffering in society. In Dead Poets Society, Neil, one of the main characters, is stuck between meeting his father s standards of life, and doing what he wants to do. Neil s father wants him to become a doctor, or a lawyer, or have a professional career. He basically forces Neil to do this, so Neil doesn t have any freedom. Because of this, Neil commits suicide. In order to gain influence in a community, criminal organizations will provide services that the people within that community might want, for a cost: immunity from any actions taken against organized crime. In return for helping fund a politician, help a police officer with the bills, or even help the average citizen or businessperson overcome a problem. The only requirement is that in exchange for that service, the person must be willing to ignore the organization s illegal actions (Ruth 114). Organized crime also utilizes fear to control the community by selectively fulfilling threats to give the appearance of the ability to fulfill any threats that the organization makes. The organization s use the appearance of absolute power to cause continued loyalty, adherence to extortion schemes and other activities, and to discourage witnesses, while the selective nature of fulfilling threats keeps law enforcement and the general public from taking notice of the organization. Organized crime also remains hidden from the public eye because the public and the government only focus on one aspect of organized crimes revenues, which allows the organizations to profit from a broad range of criminal activities even while the government or public attempt to stop the revenues from one source, making it very difficult for the government to stop organized crime from being a profitable business (Ruth 115). Instead, they could believe that one particular moral principle is non negotiable; therefore making an ethical theory absolute. If we coincide with this, we could be absolute about one thing, like committing adultery, and relative about something else, like lying. However, contrary to Pojman s idea, that isn t all that absolute as we would probably end up being more relative. The ethical theory of moral absolutism has raised many arguments since Plato produced the Theory of the Forms. Philosophers have argued over it for centuries; whether it is correct, whether we should be absolutists or relativists or whether we bypass both of these theories and decide our actions based on virtuous people. The one thing we should be able to agree on, is that, as human beings, we should be making decisions for ourselves on how to live our own lives, not how other people should live their lives. b) Moral absolutism cannot be justified. At birth a baby relies on sight and touch for their intellectual development, they have limited language, and all information is processed visually, as a baby grows they develop intellectually by participating in imaginative play ie a box becomes a car or train or plane. They will also imitate and explore new behaviours and forms of play, their confidence will grow as they near the age of 3 years old, but will still seek reassurance from their parents and carers. Between the ages of 3 and 7 years old a child will still be processing information visually, along side this their language skills and thought process will develop, which will have a huge effect on how they think and interact with others. As a child progress towards the age of 12 years old they will become less egocentric, and more understanding of others feelings, thoughts, opinions, and beliefs, specific individual interests will also develop at this time.
