The Decline Of The Reformation
The fact that the Renaissance took place before the Protestant Reformation was not a coincidence.
One of the major promoters of the Reformation was the availability of the Bible in the common
language of the people throughout Europe. Another was the growing number of people who were able
to read the Bible for themselves. Both the availability of printed material and the increasing literacy
rates were direct consequences of the Renaissance and thus fostered the Reformation that followed.
Without the events that took place during the Renaissance the Reformation may never have taken
place.
The Renaissance period was marked by a renewed interest in Classical culture, art, learning and
science. The Reformation was a religious movement which challenged the authority of the pope and
the Catholic Church, which until that time had been the only organized form of Christianity in Western
Europe. The Reformation began when Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses, his list of grievances
against the Catholic Church s practices, to the door of a church. Luther s main disagreement with the
Church was over indulgences, the sale by the Papacy of remission of penalties imposed by God on
souls in Purgatory. He attached the theory behind indulgences that the Pope could make grants to the
faithful from the treasure of merits accumulated by Christ and the saints over and above what they had
needed for their own salvation.
The grievances that Luther had with the Church had been greatly nurtured by

Nihilism According To Nietzsche
The nihilism analysis has been prevalent position over the past few years. Its anticipated purpose is to
demand questions about the norms made in a philosophical debate. These contain the notion that one
must actually suggest and preserve an idea in order to contextualize one s idea.
Tacitly, this philosophy, nihilism, seems new to most people and to philosophy as a whole. Especially
from a Western standpoint. But Nietzsche conducts an unapologetic attack on what society has
deemed as conformist morality. And at the end of the 19th Century (when he died) this could have
struck many as more progressive rather than conservative. Many during that time, however, saw it as
pure sacrilege. The entrenched on both sides have made it difficult ... Show more content on

As a communications major, the focus should not be on the words themselves, but rather on the more
in depth meaning of those words. Zarathustra says the coined phrase and follows up with, We have
killed Him. In laymen s terms, the scientific certainty has made God archaic and outdated. But really,
there is an underlayment here. The underlying idea that it is not just God (this supernatural icon in the
sky) that is dead, but rather the idea that many of the absolutes that we discussed previously have died.
One specifically being morality. These outmoded morals cannot direct the humans in a more intricate
world/society. There are many discussions that have been had about this phrase and what it could
mean, but the most significant is that the value itself is prospectively weak. Humans have transformed
into this complicated being, and constrained by this badness of morals. There is one woman who
would argue in a Newsweek article that Nietzsche through objective morality. Karen Armstrong of
Newsweek states in the article History of God that ...Nietzsche was right to say that human beings
killed God. Even fundamentalists (whose faith is essentially modern and innovative) bear to the fact
that men and women can no longer be religious in the same way as their ancestors. In the postmodern
world, it was generally understood that while reason was indispensable for mathematics, science, or
politics. It could, not by itself give human beings access to the divine. But the extraordinary success of
scientific rationalism in the modern world has made reason the only path to truth. We assume that God
is an objective fact, like the atom, whose existence can be proved empirically. When we find the
demonstration unconvincing, we lose faith. Our neglect of the esthetic of prayer, liturgy, and
mythology has indeed killed our sense of the divine. 1 Nietzsche labels this as a bit of

Descriptive Lake House Essay
It was chilly. It always was. The slight breeze and the overcast clouds provided a gray morning, which
to some foreshadowed a sad and droopy day but I saw the hopeful rays of sunshine attempting to leak
through the dull, gray bars that separated the warm sun from the cool ground. The lake house: a place
where I enjoyed the fruits of having a friendship with the daughter of the family who owned the
house. From wakeboarding to tubing to boat rides the lake offered all the amenities one could hope for
in a fairly large body of water. Yet these forms of entertainment only amount to the smallest fraction
of why the lake house is so integral to my contentment.
The dock has a fine hardwood finish that prevents painful splinters, plenty of comfortable lawn chairs
to sit in, an emerald green table where I have played countless hours of Settlers of Catan, and an
American flag that flutters majestically in the wind. The view, needless to say, is breathtaking. In the
chilly, gray mornings that accompany my lake house visits, I wake up early, amble to the dock, plop
down on a comfortable lawn chair, and gaze out into the body of water that is Weiss Lake. The smooth
waves undulate across the calm surface of the lake as if a herder is flocking his sheep slowly back into
the red barn house. The ripples create a sense of inner calm that permeates throughout ... Show more

The Passion of Artemisia by Susan Vreeland
Review of The Passion of Artemisia by Susan Vreeland Both Artemisia s father and Agostino Tassi,
her father s friend, had spent quite a bit of time teaching her the art of painting. When she was 18,
Agostino Tassi, raped Artemisia Gentileschi of Rome during a lesson. When the rapist is tried by a
court of the Inquisition, it s more as if Artemisia is the criminal than Agostino who gets off free
(thanks partly to Artemisia s father, his own interest in having his painting returned, trumping his
daughter s dignity) while Artemisia, after torture and public humiliation, is left only with a destroyed
reputation. With father s help, however, a husband is found; Artemisia marries Pietro Stiattesi, an
artist, and moves to Florence, where her quotidian responsibilities do little to quench her visceral need
for painting. She s happy to be in the art center of the world and soon gives birth to a daughter.
Through perseverance and passion she comes to the attention of powerful art patrons. She makes
history by becoming the first woman elected to the Accademia dell Arte, but makes waves with her
husband as; predictably, he is envious of her growing fame as an artist. Pietro reverts to his
womanizing ways and their relationship is barely held together by their daughter. Artemisia and her
daughter, Palmira leave Pietro behind for a new patron to Genoa, but not before meeting Buonaretti
the Younger, being introduced to the Medici court, and growing into a friendship with Galileo.

Conbolism In The Symbols Of The Hamburger Mary s
Hamburger Mary s. According to Mrs. Young (2017), the rainbow can be displayed in the form of a
sticker, tattoo, or flags (Young, personal communications, June 26, 2017). There is also a symbol of
the LGBTQ community that is not as commonly known. Per Mrs. Young (2017), there is a yellow
equal symbol with a blue background (Young, personal communications, June 26, 2017). I have seen
this symbol becoming popular as a bumper sticker on automobiles. Mrs. Young (2017) also talked
about the sexual symbols such as two women and two men, as well as the puns. The puns can include
Gaydar and Born this way slogans (Young, personal communications, June 26, 2017). With artifacts
being expressed openly other members of the subculture are aware of the shared subculture of which
they are a part of. When members of the subculture find out about a new member it does not make
them instant friends. According to Mrs. Young (2017), many people that are not a part of the
subculture make the huge misconception that everyone that is in the subculture knows one another.
Furthermore, those that are a part of the subculture make friends the same way as those outside of the
subculture. Just because another person is LGBTQ does not make them instant friends (Young,
personal communications, June 26, 2017). The LGBTQ is an increasingly known subculture. The
members of the subculture not only have their own functions, but they also make an impact in our
Colorado community. I have noticed the impact of the subculture becoming well known and is still on
the rise of recognition.
There are bars, parades, community gatherings, and even restaurants that are available to the public
for those involved in LGBTQ. According to the Hamburger Mary s website (2017), Hamburger Mary
s is a restaurant that is open to the LGBTQ community and the public. This is currently a Local
restaurant located in Denver, Colorado, as well as, sixteen other locations in the United States
(Hamburger Mary s, 2017). The restaurant chain is available in many locations, making it clear that
the LGBTQ subculture is larger than Colorado alone. Furthermore, the restaurant is open to the public,
not just the LGBTQ subculture. When I was at the Denver location every person

Whistle-blowing in Auditing
Question 1
Introduction
At the start of this century, unprecedented collapses of Enron and WorldCom have sparked heated
world discussions over corporate whistle blowing. In light of this, legislations and professional codes
of conduct are implemented to provide framework on ethical and financial decision making
particularly for auditors. This essay covers prerequisites for an effective corporate whistle blower
hotline, measures to avoid potential pitfalls, as well as analysis on benefits and drawbacks of having a
whistle blower hotline.
Whistle blower Hotline
What is it?
By incorporating the concepts of whistle blower of Alford (2001, p.17) and Bok (1980, p.277) into
auditing, whistle blower hotline is a communication system which ... Show more content on

responsibility to voluntarily report suspicious misbehaviours.
Prerequisites for Procedures of
Handling Claims for Effective Hotline
In Combined Code on Corporate Governance July 2003 (The Combined Code) issued by Institute of
Chartered Accountants in England Wales (ICAEW), whistle blowing procedures are formal steps
taken by the Audit Commission when concerns regarding malpractice in the corporation are raised.
Audit Commission should review corporate arrangements and carry out investigations, and make
recommendations to Board of Directors. Audit Commission should follow chronologically the five
steps in handling claims stated below.

Introduce Multiple Easily accessed Channels of Communication
Corporations usually establish both internally and externally a confidential toll free telephone hotline,
email address and message boxes on official website which allow whistle blowers staying nameless.
(Devine and Maassarani 2011, p.271) The hotline should be easily accessible as stakeholders range
from employees, clients, suppliers to members of the public. It should be operated at all times so that
whistle blowers do not face time restriction in reporting suspected wrongdoings. Hence, multiple
channels allow whistle blowers to choose the most

Reflective Essay On Interprofessional Education
In my NUR 301 Class, I had the opportunity to practice on Interprofessional Education. Our nursing
student team was partnered with first year pharmacy school students to learn about each other
professions and to study on how we could work in a team of healthcare professionals to attain a
common goal. As this was my first time experience to meet other students from a different department
of Notre Dame of Maryland University, I was not sure what to expect from our discussions. Even if I
have some experiences working both in hospitals and in a pharmacy, I was no fully aware of the
responsibilities of a pharmacist directly to the patient or to the healthcare field specialists.
From this class I understood that Interprofessional Education (IPE) is when two or more profession
learn from, with and about each other. This collaboration is important in order to fulfill the patients
needs that are becoming more complex, multi faced and challenging day by day. It is also clear to me
that no single profession in healthcare can adequately address all the demands of patients. Therefore,
partnership between teams is required to provide a safe, timely, effective and equitable patient care. To
have a smooth collaboration, it is necessary to learn from each other s specializations, strength and
experiences. In the real world, healthcare is an interdisciplinary team effort to provide the best
possible service to a patient based on evidence based practices. Considering this, I had the

Testing the Difference Between the Respondents Demographic...
Testing the difference between the respondents demographic groups As mentioned in chapter 4: table
4 3, there was a very different between the number of respondents within some demographic groups,
e.g. the gender groups compromised 185 males and 25 females and similarly, the academic
background groups compromised 3 high school, 185 graduate and 85 postgraduate holders. Therefore,
generalising the results of testing the difference between the means of these groups may be invalid and
meaningfulness. However, it could give general indicators about the opinion of each group regarding
the performing the SECI and innovation processes within the Egyptian banks.
In this term, there are two methods to test the difference means between groups ... Show more content

In the other hand, the One way ANOVA test is used to test whether three or more groups means are
different. This test is suitable for testing the means difference between the years of experience groups
(≤ 5, 6 10, 11 15, 16 20 and 20yrs), between the academic background groups (high school, graduate
and postgraduate) and between the job title groups (junior, senior, head of department, auditor, vice
manager and manager)
Independent t test results
The t test can be used to test whether two groups are different. The independent t test is used when
there are two experimental conditions (e.g. male and female or public and private banks) and different
participates have been used in each condition (e.g. SECI and innovation processes). Independent t test
table yielded by PASW normally mentions two rows for the test statistics: one row is labelled Equal
variance assumed, while the other is labelled Equal variances not assumed. Which row is considered is
based on the significant of Levene s test for Equality of Variances. Therefore, if the Levene s test is
significant, the Equal variances not assumed row will be used for the t test. The significant of this
difference is based on the significant of the t test. That is, if this test is significant, it could be included
that the difference between the means of these

ScopesTips On Buying A Spotting Scope You may have been told that seeking out a spotting scope for
birding, hunting, and other wildlife viewing and observing is your best bet if you truly want to
maximize your outdoor experience. Spotting scopes are similar to both binoculars and telescopes,
combining the convenient portability of the standard binoculars, with the longer range viewing
capabilities of the star gazing telescope. Spotting scopes can give you the high definition
magnification capabilities required from longer distances, and so are the perfect optical device for
your birding or hunting adventure. However, sometimes it can be quite overwhelming trying to find
the best spotting scope, sifting through technical jargon and industry terms. That s why we have
outlined the most important aspects of the spotting scope, definitions of specifications, and
recommendations on what to look for. Magnification: Finding the best magnification in your

should probably opt for a wider field of view (fixed eyepiece) if your scoping is predominantly deals

Professor Faden s Copyright Violation
To the jury of the court, let me start off by stating i m the lawyer of the defendant, Professor Faden.
Professor Faden has been accused of infringing the copyright of Disney Studio.
During fair use trials judges are supposed to at least these four factors 1. The purpose of the use 2. The
nature of the work used 3. The amount and sustainability of the original work used 4. The effect on the
market of the original, as well as the overall purposes of copyright law. Before we get into this deeply

During this film Faden tends to keep the sustainability accurate, he uses the same movies and sections
of each movie over and over again, and he keeps the amount he uses sustainable. He put bits and
pieces of the same clips over and over again, never once did he use the clips longer than 10 seconds.
So according to the third factor Faden did nothing wrong by using the video clips.
Faden used his work on this video for a nonprofit educational purpose of his students, so in this case
he did not violate factor four. To the creators of the disney work, if he did anything it was provide

Public Shaming In The Scarlet Letter
Should Public Shaming be left in the Past? Wahh, Wahh, Wahh. Christina is crying as a result of
public humiliation. Public humiliation can hurt someone long term. In The Price of Public Shame
Monica Lewinski was hurt badly by public shaming, and she did not know if she could fight the
constant threats to her. Also, in Is the Internet a Mob without Consequence? Someone tweeted
something bad and in just a couple hours the responses to the tweet was very harsh. Finally in, The
Scarlet Letter, Hester Prynne made a mistake and she got publically humiliated for one mistake that
she made. This one mistake ruined her life. Because public shaming can ruin someone s life for one
little mistake they made, it should be left in the past due to the lack of a social life, and potentially
ruining their professional life.

Humiliation can cause someone to feel lonely, and as a result of this will make that person have the
feeling that no one wants to be there friend. When someone is humiliated that person does not want to
show their face in public, which is a reason why they lack a social life. As stated in , The Scarlet
Letter, it states, Measured by the prisoner s experience, however, it might reckoned a journey of some
length; for, haughty as her demeanor was, she perchance underwent an agony from every footstep of
those that thronged to see her, as if her heart had been flung in the street for them all to spurn and
trample upon. This quote means that Hester is walking through the streets of her town and no one is
saying anything to her or making eye contact with her at all. She is being completely shunned for one
mistake that she had made. This must make Hester feel very sorrowful that no one is talking to her.
That indicated that public shaming can lead to the absence of a social life because no one is talking to
Hester at all because of what she did. Also, stated in The Price of Public

Vera Bradley needs to increase its volume so that it can work with wholesalers. This paper focuses on
the last challenge in the list. Options to Overcome the Challenge Although Barb amp; Pat tested the
product on college girls and received positive feedback, their sales were still focused on middle aged
women between 30 60 years. I think Vera Bradley should enlarge its target audience by focusing on
the younger segment. This should be carried out carefully so to avoid any loss in its current customer
base. Vera Bradley should first renew its market research. They can work with professional firms to
carry out surveys to see what kind of functions they need, what colors they like etc. This is a
requirement as trends in young societies are prone to change. They can also make informal research
with their college student children and their friends. Understanding their needs is the key to the
strategy. Once this is done, Vera Bradley can make new designs to address the audience s needs. I
think new products should be differentiated from the regular Vera Brandley line so that college girls
do not associate the brand with the middle aged audience. * A separate line: Vera Bradley has already
established brand awareness in the market and it is highly probable that young girls perceive the brand
as a middle aged one. Being able to change this perception is vital. So the new

Section I, Question 1: In Shearing and Stenning s From the Panopticon to Disney World, the world
renowned fantasy amusement park is revealed to be a compelling embodiment of Michel Foucault s
ideas regarding the disciplinary society. In Foucault s writings on the prison panopticon his idea of a
perfected disciplinary institution of a disciplinary society Foucault describes how inmates (or Disney s
guests) behavior and movements is overseen and tightly controlled (Dillon, p. 371). This level of
control is clear from the moment you enter Disney: barriers, guardrails, and directions guide you to
preordained locations, and Disney employees and rides reinforce those restrictions and guidances at
numerous points throughout your visit (Shearing, p. 301 302). More significantly, in the panopticon
design, inmates are always under surveillance. Further, inmates are aware they are always under
surveillance even if they cannot see their supervisor so that they begin monitoring their own actions to
conform with rules and restrictions (Dillon, p. 371). At Disney, once a guest breaks the rules or
regulations, they quickly become aware that they are being surveilled. Park employees in unassuming
costumes seemingly unrelated to security or rule enforcement are trained to enforce rules and hold
guests accountable as soon as they act out of line, making clear to guests that they are always being

Analysis of Alfred Tennyson´s Three Poems Essay
Alfred Tennyson, 1st Baron Tennyson of Aldworth and Freshwater is known as one of the greatest
poetic figure of the Victorian Age. Tennyson started writing poetry at an early age and at the age of
twelve he wrote a 6,000 line poem. His poems consisted of medieval legends, myths, and everyday
life and nature. When he was appointed laureate a position he held for 42 years, the longest of any
laureate, he wrote about historical events and one of his famous works was Ode on the Death of Duke
of Wellington. Three of his poems that I chose and stood out above all others are Mariana, In

had started to write poems with them which he later published under the title of Poems by Two
Brothers around the age of seventeen, mainly containing his own work in addition including some
work by his brothers. Insisted by his friends and father Tennyson entered one of his old works entitled
Timbuctoo for the Chancellor s Gold Medal which he won in 1829. When he entered his poem for the
Chancellor s prize he encountered Arthur Henry Hallam becoming Tennyson s closest friend. In that
same year they joined a secret society named the Apostles which after couples of meetings later
Tennyson abandoned. Tennyson started to focus on poetry rather then his studies and Hallam who was
also fond of writing poetry published a volume with Tennyson named Poems, Chiefly Lyrical which
was criticized but later on started to receive favorable reviews and one of the poems named Mariana
was highly praised.
In Mariana, Tennyson used objects and the environment to show how the character Mariana is feeling.
Mariana is living in a Moated Grange however her depression affects her views of her surroundings.
Throughout the entire poem all she thinks about is that her life is dreary, He cometh not, she said; She

financial problems, you can be able to create significant value by purchasing the company for pennies
on the dollar. ( Private Equity Fund, 2010) There are several key objectives that all private equity
funds and investors will have in common to include: taking a long term horizon, investing in those
companies / industries that will generate significant value and minimizing the short / long term risks
as much as possible. All private equity funds will take a long term horizon of several years or more.
This is because the objective of a private equity fund is to control the company that they are
purchasing. Where, they will have an influence on the board of directors and the management itself to
achieve its long term objective of creating value. As a result, this will involve working actively to be
able to restructure the different departments, so that the business is more productive. (Thomas, 2006)
Investing in those companies and industries that will create significant value is when the private equity
funding is performing careful analysis of the investment, before a deal is announced. This is because
the shareholders want to be satisfied that any kind of company or industry that they will be going into
has the long term potential of providing the fund with significant returns. As a result, this means that
more due diligence will take place

The Change Process Essay
At the beginning of the change process, a crucial aspect for Ghosn was the importance and the need
for an open communication in both directions: from upper management to lower management and
vice versa. Before he took over the position of the COO at Nissan, he traveled to Japan to gather
information from the lower level management up to the top level management.
Clampitt, DeKoch, and Cushman outlined different communication strategies, which can be found in
Ghosn s communication style. They authors defined the communication strategies based on
communication effectiveness and amount of informational transmitted and emphasized that leaders
can use the strategies simultaneously (Palmer et al., 2009, p. 305). In the case of Nissan, Ghosn
followed the device of transparency to regain credibility, and thus he transmitted an enormous amount
of information. Furthermore, the communication effectiveness was middle to high since Ghosn
provided detailed information to the people involved in the change. He wanted to avoid confusions,
and thus he shared a maximum of information (Hughes et al., 2003, p. 6). Ghosn also engaged people
being a part of the change discussion, as an example: He defined the CFTs, which had the challenge to
identify the change actions and obstacles. Thus, Ghosn s communication strategy (at least based on the
case study) was a mix of tell and sell and underscore and explore (Palmer et al., 2009, p. 306).
Plamer et al. (2009) introduced various questions,

The Truth Of Auschwitz Concentration Camp
A large proportion of stories and poems that describe the truth of Auschwitz concentration camp are
written by the survivors who gets out of there. The author Tadeusz Borowski, who have been through
the deadly gas situation and he used his pen to telling people what truly happened in Auschwitz. Just
like what he mentioned in the short story, There can be no beauty if it is paid for by human injustice,
nor truth that passes over injustice in silence, nor moral virtue that condones it. , he is the one record
and make known to the public to remain everyone, that wars never bring us peace, no matter what
kind of reasons that careerists are using to cover their ambition and evilness. In the novel, Borowski
was watching a train which has carried brunch of prisoners like him. There are darkness and chaos
inside of the transport, people are starving and helpless, they knew they were going to the place where
is going to be the end of their life but killing them slowly. When the transport arrived, prisoners are
running away from the transport to breath fresh air; however, Borowski also seems people are
scavenging and sourcing food from new arriver . They don t care about people that are still alive or
not, the only thing they are focusing on is anything that can help them fight with starving, it doesn t
matter if that food is out of date or decaying. Borowski is comparing them as a pig, Pigs! Tomorrow
half of them will die of the shits. , Pigs? You ve been hungry. ,

Pharmacy Technician Vs Pharmacist
The biggest difference between a pharmacist and a pharmacy tech is the schooling that is required.
Pharmacists have to attend at least six years of schooling while pharmacy technicians only have to
have a high school diploma. In some states, there are certification programs to become a pharmacy
tech while other states have on the job training. When it comes what their jobs qualify them to do,
pharmacist techs basically just assist the pharmacist. The pharmacist techs can not give medical advice
to patients, only assist the pharmacists. By assisting the pharmacist, they can accept prescriptions. The
pharmacist just has to review and approve the medications before they are able to give it to the
patients.

The Importance Of Population Differences
Geographers have different factors to focus on when trying to understand why there are differences in
the world s population. Crude birth rate, crude death rate, natural increase rate, life expectancy and so
on. Each of those are methods used by geographers to measure population. Geographers should not
only look at those methods when trying to figure out the population differences. Some social factors
like the economy, culture, lifestyle and the government contributes in the differences in population.
Crude birth rate and life expectancy are the two most important indicators that can help a geographer
understand why is there differences in the population.
Crude birth rate is an immensely important factor because not in all courtiers a woman is having up to
seven children. According to statista Niger is a country with the highest crude birth rate because
women are estimated to have 6.76 children per women. However, China has the largest population in
the world and in the Washington post it states that China allows couples to only have two children. It
is also mentioned that although the government allows couples to have two children most people only
have one child. People in China prefer to just have one child because is extremely costly. In the
Washington post it indicates that to prepare a child to succeed in the country s competitive schools and
workplaces, parents must invest lots of time and money in a child for schooling, extracurricular
activities, and outside tutoring, often for college entrance and English proficiency exams . This type of
factors makes the difference in population. The economy is not the same around the world and in the
countries that are poor women do not health care and that means they can not be put on birth control.
Crude birth rate explains why some countries population is bigger than others. If women in some
countries are having 5 and more children the population is going be higher than in countries that
women are having one child. In this case, China can not be included because although you are allowed
to just have two children, China was already over populated and had to come up with the one child
policy. I believe that if China stick to just having one child and Niger s

The Negative Consequences Of Noise Pollution
Ahmed Sami Hassan
Dr. Clark
ENG 1101
06 June 2015 Noise Pollution What is the Noise Pollution? The term noise pollution used to define
unwanted sounds that come from many sources such as barking dogs, loud music; vehicles, aircraft
and rail transport; air conditioners, factories; amplified music and construction work released into the
environment. Noise pollution has adverse effects on both human health and environment.
One of the most obvious negative consequences of prolonged exposure to noise is hearing loss.
Studies show that people who have been regularly exposed to intense noise, due to the nature of their
work, have decreased hearing sensibility, compared to those who have worked in more quiet
conditions. The most disturbing source of noise pollution stems from traffic (Healthy Hearing).
Elevated sound levels cause changes in the structure of the inner ear which results in irreversible
hearing loss.
The Studies found any sound levels crosses the 70dB mark; it becomes noise for the ear. Noise levels
above 80 decibels produce damaging effects to the ear. When ear is exposed to extreme loud noise
(above 100 decibels) for a considerable period of time, it can cause irreparable damage and lead to
permanent hearing loss. Sleep Disturbances is one of the noise pollution effects that can deter your
overall well being. Noise can interrupt a good night s sleep, and when this occurs, the person feels
extremely annoyed and uncomfortable. People deprived of uninterrupted sleep show a sharp dip in
their energy levels which often results into extreme fatigue. This can considerably decrease a person s
ability to work efficiently. Noise pollution may also lead to mental health problems. Exposure to loud
sound can result in elevated stress levels as well as stimulate violent behavior. A constant noise in the
vicinity can also trigger headaches, make people tense and anxious, and disturb emotional balance.
Another effect of noise pollution is on cardiovascular issues. Studies have shown that high intensity
sound cause a dramatic rise in blood pressure as noise levels constrict the arteries, disrupting the blood
flow. The heart rate (the number of heartbeats per minute) also increases. These sudden abnormal
changes in

called him uncle as she was told to do. Whenever Mig would do something wrong he would give her a
clout to the either her right or left ear. Eventually after getting so many clouts it became hard for Mig
to hear. When she turned seven she was out tending to the sheep and saw the royal family pass by and
this gave her hope, as well as made her hope that one day she too would be a bright and beautiful
princess. Mig told her uncle about this but he did not care, no one had ever cared what she wanted. A
little while later a soldier came to Migs uncles farm to claim everything and anything that had to do
with soup. While Migs uncle was going off about this he let it slip that he owned Mig. Since owning
another person was against the law the soldier took her with him back to the castle. Mig was now to be

Foreshadowing In The Chocolate War
The Chocolate War by Robert Cormier is a book that provides a sneak peek behind the scenes at the
harmony before the havoc. The book provides a look at how one person fights through the battle of
finding oneself, trying to fix a mistake they made, and how it affects those around them. The Chocolate
War begins with the line They murdered him. An opening that, at first lead to confusion, then became
an enormous point of foreshadowing in the story. The author begins by creating a sensory image of our
characters playing football, getting injured, and leading the reader to believe that this is what the story
would be about. The book really is leading the reader into a complex cast of characters ranging from a

assignment stands. Jerry Renault just so happened to be one of the unlucky freshman chosen for an

Excessive Amount Of Asphaltene Deposition Essay
An excessive amount of asphaltene deposition may result in a severe formation damage and
sometimes blocking the flow path as seen in Figure 6c. Therefore, the injected solvent cannot further
diffuse deep into the matrix (due severe to asphaltene deposition) and eventually causes injectivity
problem. In this study, C5 injection resulted in the high amount of asphaltene deposition in porous
media (11.4 % per Figure 7) and it could block the main flow path, the fracture (as seen in Figure 6c).
The pressure profiles of C5 injection shown in Figure 8 can also explain the formation damage caused
by severe asphaltene deposition. At early time stage of solvent injection, solvent mainly diffuses into
the oil within the fracture path (while diffusing into the matrix as well) and recovered most of the oil
in this area (up to 80 minutes in Figure 8). Thereafter, the solvent is occupied the whole fracture and
due to the concentration gradient between the solvent and matrix s oil, the solvent diffused into the
matrix, dilute the oil by precipitation and deposition of asphaltene. Continuing solvent injection
resulted in more asphaltene deposition in the matrix and especially fracture matrix interface (where
the highest concentration gradient is) that eventually cause the formation damage and reduce the
injectivity. This can be seen in Figure 7 from time 90 minutes to 280 minutes where the injection
pressure increased until the time that was no injection at all (after about 280 minutes).

Heron Therapeutic Analysis
U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has finally approved the use of Heron Therapeutic, Inc. s
long acting injection of Sustol to prevent Chemoterapy Induced Nausea and Vomiting (CINV). It
becomes the first time the biotech company ever gained regulatory approval.
FDA approves Sustol to help nausea and vomiting from Chemotherapy
As reported by Tech Times, the approval was given on August 9, after twice rejected in a period of 6
years. According to Ralph Boccia, medical director of Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, Sustol
has proven to give longer acting prevention of CINV to cancer patients after chemotherapy. According
to Boccia, it is an interesting option, that, for up to five days can protect patients from CINV.
Among treatment given to patients diagnosed with cancer, chemotherapy is considered the most
effective, and thus most commonly ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Here lies Sustol s superiority over other similar treatments. Approval given to Sustol includes using
other agents combined in its use. It is a bit disappointing, though, that platinum based therapies are
absent from the label, despite strong response Sustol shows in patients given this class of
chemotherapy.
The clinical trial populations and results for Sustol, according to Dr. Jeffrey Vacirca, CEO of North
Shore Hematology Oncology Associates clinical research, are a good representation of cancer patients
who participate in their real world clinical practice, according to Fierce Biotech. He added that CINV
remains the most significant challenge with patients receiving AC (anthracycline and
cyclophosphamide) based regimens and Sustol represents a better option to deal with this painful side
effects.
Rejections by FDA to Heron s Sustol happened twice. The first was in 2010, when additional testing
was required by the agency. The second application received another rejection three years later on
issues of manufacturing and data

Pros And Cons Of The American Constitution
The American Constitution, is a document that was drafted in July of 1787 to replace The Articles of
Confederation. The Constitution created a national government and established major laws to benefit
America. Along with these impressive actions, our Founding Fathers made sure this document
contained the ability for each individual citizen of America to have basic guaranteed rights. This
should stand for all citizens, not only those who are natural born. The Constitution, leaving out equal
opportunity and equal rights to those not born in America, essentially makes the document unfitting
for our current government and society. The Constitution has been amended and ratified twenty seven
times. For our country s current situation and diverse population, it is important that a Twenty Eighth
Amendment be put into place to give all citizens, natural born or not, all basic rights.
Although, this amendment does not directly benefit myself, I intend to amend Article 2 Section 1 of
The Constitution for the rights of my fellow Americans. This article states: that anyone born beyond
the seas is not eligible to run for presidency unless both his birth parents are citizens of the United
States. I believe this unfair and unfit article should be amended to give any citizen living in the
country for a minimum of 30 years even if the individual was born in and lived in another country.
Article 2, Section 1 of the Constitution is states: No person except a natural born

She By J. Cole Analysis
In J. Cole s music video She Knows he tells a story through a juvenile young man s point of view, who
is also the visual motif. The video begins with the young man stealing money from his parents.
Starting with his title the viewer becomes curious as if this is the thing She Knows ; and by default
She being the young man s mother. The message of J.Cole s video is predominately captured in two
different scenes. The first being when the young man s mother gazes at him as he is being dropped off
at school and the second being when the young man gazes at his mom, he walked into his house after
school and found his mom with another man. Although both scenes add to the overall meaning of the
video, they each does have a meaning of their own. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Similar to the previous scene, the young man is dominantly in the foreground. Different from the
previous scene, now the mother and mysterious man are in the mid ground and the boring plain house
is in the background. Once again the boring background draws the viewer s attention to what is
happening within the foreground and background. The shot used here is an establishing one, because it
develops the setting, and once where the shot was POV and the viewer could really only interpret the
mother s thoughts, as a spectator in this scene the viewer can interpret both thoughts of the young man
and the mother. Unlike that used in the previous scene, J.Cole uses a spectator gaze, because the
viewer needs the full image to be able to interpret what is actually going on because without both the
view of the son and mother, the understanding for the scene can become skewed. From the pieces
analyzed in this scene it can be determined that the young man and mother are equally in shock
because the mother was caught in the act of infidelity. Where as She Knows was thought to the young
man s mother knowing he stole and was a juvenile turned to She Knows as she is aware that he know
she was having an

  • 2. The Decline Of The Reformation The fact that the Renaissance took place before the Protestant Reformation was not a coincidence. One of the major promoters of the Reformation was the availability of the Bible in the common language of the people throughout Europe. Another was the growing number of people who were able to read the Bible for themselves. Both the availability of printed material and the increasing literacy rates were direct consequences of the Renaissance and thus fostered the Reformation that followed. Without the events that took place during the Renaissance the Reformation may never have taken place. The Renaissance period was marked by a renewed interest in Classical culture, art, learning and science. The Reformation was a religious movement which challenged the authority of the pope and the Catholic Church, which until that time had been the only organized form of Christianity in Western Europe. The Reformation began when Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses, his list of grievances against the Catholic Church s practices, to the door of a church. Luther s main disagreement with the Church was over indulgences, the sale by the Papacy of remission of penalties imposed by God on souls in Purgatory. He attached the theory behind indulgences that the Pope could make grants to the faithful from the treasure of merits accumulated by Christ and the saints over and above what they had needed for their own salvation. The grievances that Luther had with the Church had been greatly nurtured by ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Nihilism According To Nietzsche The nihilism analysis has been prevalent position over the past few years. Its anticipated purpose is to demand questions about the norms made in a philosophical debate. These contain the notion that one must actually suggest and preserve an idea in order to contextualize one s idea. Tacitly, this philosophy, nihilism, seems new to most people and to philosophy as a whole. Especially from a Western standpoint. But Nietzsche conducts an unapologetic attack on what society has deemed as conformist morality. And at the end of the 19th Century (when he died) this could have struck many as more progressive rather than conservative. Many during that time, however, saw it as pure sacrilege. The entrenched on both sides have made it difficult ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... As a communications major, the focus should not be on the words themselves, but rather on the more in depth meaning of those words. Zarathustra says the coined phrase and follows up with, We have killed Him. In laymen s terms, the scientific certainty has made God archaic and outdated. But really, there is an underlayment here. The underlying idea that it is not just God (this supernatural icon in the sky) that is dead, but rather the idea that many of the absolutes that we discussed previously have died. One specifically being morality. These outmoded morals cannot direct the humans in a more intricate world/society. There are many discussions that have been had about this phrase and what it could mean, but the most significant is that the value itself is prospectively weak. Humans have transformed into this complicated being, and constrained by this badness of morals. There is one woman who would argue in a Newsweek article that Nietzsche through objective morality. Karen Armstrong of Newsweek states in the article History of God that ...Nietzsche was right to say that human beings killed God. Even fundamentalists (whose faith is essentially modern and innovative) bear to the fact that men and women can no longer be religious in the same way as their ancestors. In the postmodern world, it was generally understood that while reason was indispensable for mathematics, science, or politics. It could, not by itself give human beings access to the divine. But the extraordinary success of scientific rationalism in the modern world has made reason the only path to truth. We assume that God is an objective fact, like the atom, whose existence can be proved empirically. When we find the demonstration unconvincing, we lose faith. Our neglect of the esthetic of prayer, liturgy, and mythology has indeed killed our sense of the divine. 1 Nietzsche labels this as a bit of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Descriptive Lake House Essay It was chilly. It always was. The slight breeze and the overcast clouds provided a gray morning, which to some foreshadowed a sad and droopy day but I saw the hopeful rays of sunshine attempting to leak through the dull, gray bars that separated the warm sun from the cool ground. The lake house: a place where I enjoyed the fruits of having a friendship with the daughter of the family who owned the house. From wakeboarding to tubing to boat rides the lake offered all the amenities one could hope for in a fairly large body of water. Yet these forms of entertainment only amount to the smallest fraction of why the lake house is so integral to my contentment. The dock has a fine hardwood finish that prevents painful splinters, plenty of comfortable lawn chairs to sit in, an emerald green table where I have played countless hours of Settlers of Catan, and an American flag that flutters majestically in the wind. The view, needless to say, is breathtaking. In the chilly, gray mornings that accompany my lake house visits, I wake up early, amble to the dock, plop down on a comfortable lawn chair, and gaze out into the body of water that is Weiss Lake. The smooth waves undulate across the calm surface of the lake as if a herder is flocking his sheep slowly back into the red barn house. The ripples create a sense of inner calm that permeates throughout ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... • 5. The Passion of Artemisia by Susan Vreeland Review of The Passion of Artemisia by Susan Vreeland Both Artemisia s father and Agostino Tassi, her father s friend, had spent quite a bit of time teaching her the art of painting. When she was 18, Agostino Tassi, raped Artemisia Gentileschi of Rome during a lesson. When the rapist is tried by a court of the Inquisition, it s more as if Artemisia is the criminal than Agostino who gets off free (thanks partly to Artemisia s father, his own interest in having his painting returned, trumping his daughter s dignity) while Artemisia, after torture and public humiliation, is left only with a destroyed reputation. With father s help, however, a husband is found; Artemisia marries Pietro Stiattesi, an artist, and moves to Florence, where her quotidian responsibilities do little to quench her visceral need for painting. She s happy to be in the art center of the world and soon gives birth to a daughter. Through perseverance and passion she comes to the attention of powerful art patrons. She makes history by becoming the first woman elected to the Accademia dell Arte, but makes waves with her husband as; predictably, he is envious of her growing fame as an artist. Pietro reverts to his womanizing ways and their relationship is barely held together by their daughter. Artemisia and her daughter, Palmira leave Pietro behind for a new patron to Genoa, but not before meeting Buonaretti the Younger, being introduced to the Medici court, and growing into a friendship with Galileo. ... • 6. Conbolism In The Symbols Of The Hamburger Mary s Hamburger Mary s. According to Mrs. Young (2017), the rainbow can be displayed in the form of a sticker, tattoo, or flags (Young, personal communications, June 26, 2017). There is also a symbol of the LGBTQ community that is not as commonly known. Per Mrs. Young (2017), there is a yellow equal symbol with a blue background (Young, personal communications, June 26, 2017). I have seen this symbol becoming popular as a bumper sticker on automobiles. Mrs. Young (2017) also talked about the sexual symbols such as two women and two men, as well as the puns. The puns can include Gaydar and Born this way slogans (Young, personal communications, June 26, 2017). With artifacts being expressed openly other members of the subculture are aware of the shared subculture of which they are a part of. When members of the subculture find out about a new member it does not make them instant friends. According to Mrs. Young (2017), many people that are not a part of the subculture make the huge misconception that everyone that is in the subculture knows one another. Furthermore, those that are a part of the subculture make friends the same way as those outside of the subculture. Just because another person is LGBTQ does not make them instant friends (Young, personal communications, June 26, 2017). The LGBTQ is an increasingly known subculture. The members of the subculture not only have their own functions, but they also make an impact in our Colorado community. I have noticed the impact of the subculture becoming well known and is still on the rise of recognition. There are bars, parades, community gatherings, and even restaurants that are available to the public for those involved in LGBTQ. According to the Hamburger Mary s website (2017), Hamburger Mary s is a restaurant that is open to the LGBTQ community and the public. This is currently a Local restaurant located in Denver, Colorado, as well as, sixteen other locations in the United States (Hamburger Mary s, 2017). The restaurant chain is available in many locations, making it clear that the LGBTQ subculture is larger than Colorado alone. Furthermore, the restaurant is open to the public, not just the LGBTQ subculture. When I was at the Denver location every person ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 7. Whistle-blowing in Auditing Question 1 Introduction At the start of this century, unprecedented collapses of Enron and WorldCom have sparked heated world discussions over corporate whistle blowing. In light of this, legislations and professional codes of conduct are implemented to provide framework on ethical and financial decision making particularly for auditors. This essay covers prerequisites for an effective corporate whistle blower hotline, measures to avoid potential pitfalls, as well as analysis on benefits and drawbacks of having a whistle blower hotline. It should be operated at all times so that whistle blowers do not face time restriction in reporting suspected wrongdoings. Hence, multiple channels allow whistle blowers to choose the most ... • 8. Reflective Essay On Interprofessional Education In my NUR 301 Class, I had the opportunity to practice on Interprofessional Education. Our nursing student team was partnered with first year pharmacy school students to learn about each other professions and to study on how we could work in a team of healthcare professionals to attain a common goal. As this was my first time experience to meet other students from a different department of Notre Dame of Maryland University, I was not sure what to expect from our discussions. Even if I have some experiences working both in hospitals and in a pharmacy, I was no fully aware of the responsibilities of a pharmacist directly to the patient or to the healthcare field specialists. From this class I understood that Interprofessional Education (IPE) is when two or more profession learn from, with and about each other. This collaboration is important in order to fulfill the patients needs that are becoming more complex, multi faced and challenging day by day. It is also clear to me that no single profession in healthcare can adequately address all the demands of patients. Therefore, partnership between teams is required to provide a safe, timely, effective and equitable patient care. To have a smooth collaboration, it is necessary to learn from each other s specializations, strength and experiences. In the real world, healthcare is an interdisciplinary team effort to provide the best possible service to a patient based on evidence based practices. Considering this, I had the ... Also, his counselor advised us he may qualify for bright futures, depending on his upcoming SAT or ACT scores. She also went over Noel s current grades, which I ve attached below, and his GPA. All in all, he s doing very well for just finishing up 9th grade. Testing the difference between the respondents demographic groups As mentioned in chapter 4: table 4 3, there was a very different between the number of respondents within some demographic groups, e.g. the gender groups compromised 185 males and 25 females and similarly, the academic background groups compromised 3 high school, 185 graduate and 85 postgraduate holders. Therefore, generalising the results of testing the difference between the means of these groups may be invalid and meaningfulness. The independent t test is used when there are two experimental conditions (e.g. male and female or public and private banks) and different participates have been used in each condition (e.g. SECI and innovation processes). Independent t test table yielded by PASW normally mentions two rows for the test statistics: one row is labelled Equal variance assumed, while the other is labelled Equal variances not assumed. I think Vera Bradley should enlarge its target audience by focusing on the younger segment. This should be carried out carefully so to avoid any loss in its current customer base. Contemporary Sociological Theory Final Exam Contemporary Sociological Theory Final Exam Section I, Question 1: In Shearing and Stenning s From the Panopticon to Disney World, the world renowned fantasy amusement park is revealed to be a compelling embodiment of Michel Foucault s ideas regarding the disciplinary society. In Foucault s writings on the prison panopticon his idea of a perfected disciplinary institution of a disciplinary society Foucault describes how inmates (or Disney s guests) behavior and movements is overseen and tightly controlled (Dillon, p. 371). This level of control is clear from the moment you enter Disney: barriers, guardrails, and directions guide you to preordained locations, and Disney employees and rides reinforce those restrictions and guidances at numerous points throughout your visit (Shearing, p. 301 302). More significantly, in the panopticon design, inmates are always under surveillance. Further, inmates are aware they are always under surveillance even if they cannot see their supervisor so that they begin monitoring their own actions to conform with rules and restrictions (Dillon, p. 371). At Disney, once a guest breaks the rules or regulations, they quickly become aware that they are being surveilled. Park employees in unassuming costumes seemingly unrelated to security or rule enforcement are trained to enforce rules and hold guests accountable as soon as they act out of line, making clear to guests that they are always being surveilled even if they cannot see the supervisors ... • 21. The Change Process Essay At the beginning of the change process, a crucial aspect for Ghosn was the importance and the need for an open communication in both directions: from upper management to lower management and vice versa. Before he took over the position of the COO at Nissan, he traveled to Japan to gather information from the lower level management up to the top level management. Clampitt, DeKoch, and Cushman outlined different communication strategies, which can be found in Ghosn s communication style. They authors defined the communication strategies based on communication effectiveness and amount of informational transmitted and emphasized that leaders can use the strategies simultaneously (Palmer et al., 2009, p. 305). In the case of Nissan, Ghosn followed the device of transparency to regain credibility, and thus he transmitted an enormous amount of information. Furthermore, the communication effectiveness was middle to high since Ghosn provided detailed information to the people involved in the change. He wanted to avoid confusions, and thus he shared a maximum of information (Hughes et al., 2003, p. 6). Crude birth rate, crude death rate, natural increase rate, life expectancy and so on. Each of those are methods used by geographers to measure population. Geographers should not only look at those methods when trying to figure out the population differences. Some social factors like the economy, culture, lifestyle and the government contributes in the differences in population. Crude birth rate and life expectancy are the two most important indicators that can help a geographer understand why is there differences in the population. Crude birth rate is an immensely important factor because not in all courtiers a woman is having up to seven children. According to statista Niger is a country with the highest crude birth rate because women are estimated to have 6.76 children per women. However, China has the largest population in the world and in the Washington post it states that China allows couples to only have two children. It is also mentioned that although the government allows couples to have two children most people only have one child. People in China prefer to just have one child because is extremely costly. In the Washington post it indicates that to prepare a child to succeed in the country s competitive schools and workplaces, parents must invest lots of time and money in a child for schooling, extracurricular activities, and outside tutoring, often for college entrance and English proficiency exams . This type of factors makes the difference in population. The economy is not the same around the world and in the countries that are poor women do not health care and that means they can not be put on birth control. Crude birth rate explains why some countries population is bigger than others. If women in some countries are having 5 and more children the population is going be higher than in countries that women are having one child. • 26. The Negative Consequences Of Noise Pollution Ahmed Sami Hassan Dr. Clark ENG 1101 06 June 2015 Noise Pollution What is the Noise Pollution? The term noise pollution used to define unwanted sounds that come from many sources such as barking dogs, loud music; vehicles, aircraft and rail transport; air conditioners, factories; amplified music and construction work released into the environment. Noise pollution has adverse effects on both human health and environment. One of the most obvious negative consequences of prolonged exposure to noise is hearing loss. Studies show that people who have been regularly exposed to intense noise, due to the nature of their work, have decreased hearing sensibility, compared to those who have worked in more quiet conditions. The most disturbing source of noise pollution stems from traffic (Healthy Hearing). Elevated sound levels cause changes in the structure of the inner ear which results in irreversible hearing loss. The Studies found any sound levels crosses the 70dB mark; it becomes noise for the ear. Noise levels above 80 decibels produce damaging effects to the ear. When ear is exposed to extreme loud noise (above 100 decibels) for a considerable period of time, it can cause irreparable damage and lead to permanent hearing loss. Sleep Disturbances is one of the noise pollution effects that can deter your overall well being. Noise can interrupt a good night s sleep, and when this occurs, the person feels extremely annoyed and uncomfortable. People deprived of uninterrupted sleep show a sharp dip in their energy levels which often results into extreme fatigue. This can considerably decrease a person s ability to work efficiently. Noise pollution may also lead to mental health problems. Exposure to loud sound can result in elevated stress levels as well as stimulate violent behavior. A constant noise in the vicinity can also trigger headaches, make people tense and anxious, and disturb emotional balance. Another effect of noise pollution is on cardiovascular issues. Studies have shown that high intensity sound cause a dramatic rise in blood pressure as noise levels constrict the arteries, disrupting the blood flow. • 30. Excessive Amount Of Asphaltene Deposition Essay An excessive amount of asphaltene deposition may result in a severe formation damage and sometimes blocking the flow path as seen in Figure 6c. Therefore, the injected solvent cannot further diffuse deep into the matrix (due severe to asphaltene deposition) and eventually causes injectivity problem. In this study, C5 injection resulted in the high amount of asphaltene deposition in porous media (11.4 % per Figure 7) and it could block the main flow path, the fracture (as seen in Figure 6c). The pressure profiles of C5 injection shown in Figure 8 can also explain the formation damage caused by severe asphaltene deposition. At early time stage of solvent injection, solvent mainly diffuses into the oil within the fracture path (while diffusing into the matrix as well) and recovered most of the oil in this area (up to 80 minutes in Figure 8). Thereafter, the solvent is occupied the whole fracture and due to the concentration gradient between the solvent and matrix s oil, the solvent diffused into the matrix, dilute the oil by precipitation and deposition of asphaltene. Continuing solvent injection resulted in more asphaltene deposition in the matrix and especially fracture matrix interface (where the highest concentration gradient is) that eventually cause the formation damage and reduce the injectivity. According to Ralph Boccia, medical director of Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, Sustol has proven to give longer acting prevention of CINV to cancer patients after chemotherapy. According to Boccia, it is an interesting option, that, for up to five days can protect patients from CINV. Among treatment given to patients diagnosed with cancer, chemotherapy is considered the most effective, and thus most commonly ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Here lies Sustol s superiority over other similar treatments. Approval given to Sustol includes using other agents combined in its use. It is a bit disappointing, though, that platinum based therapies are absent from the label, despite strong response Sustol shows in patients given this class of chemotherapy. The clinical trial populations and results for Sustol, according to Dr. Jeffrey Vacirca, CEO of North Shore Hematology Oncology Associates clinical research, are a good representation of cancer patients who participate in their real world clinical practice, according to Fierce Biotech. He added that CINV remains the most significant challenge with patients receiving AC (anthracycline and cyclophosphamide) based regimens and Sustol represents a better option to deal with this painful side effects. Rejections by FDA to Heron s Sustol happened twice. The first was in 2010, when additional testing was required by the agency. • 32. Pros And Cons Of The American Constitution The American Constitution, is a document that was drafted in July of 1787 to replace The Articles of Confederation. The Constitution created a national government and established major laws to benefit America. Along with these impressive actions, our Founding Fathers made sure this document contained the ability for each individual citizen of America to have basic guaranteed rights. This should stand for all citizens, not only those who are natural born. The Constitution, leaving out equal opportunity and equal rights to those not born in America, essentially makes the document unfitting for our current government and society. The Constitution has been amended and ratified twenty seven times. For our country s current situation and diverse population, it is important that a Twenty Eighth Amendment be put into place to give all citizens, natural born or not, all basic rights. Although, this amendment does not directly benefit myself, I intend to amend Article 2 Section 1 of The Constitution for the rights of my fellow Americans. This article states: that anyone born beyond the seas is not eligible to run for presidency unless both his birth parents are citizens of the United States. I believe this unfair and unfit article should be amended to give any citizen living in the country for a minimum of 30 years even if the individual was born in and lived in another country. Article 2, Section 1 of the Constitution is states: No person except a natural born ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 33. She By J. Cole Analysis In J. Cole s music video She Knows he tells a story through a juvenile young man s point of view, who is also the visual motif. The video begins with the young man stealing money from his parents. Starting with his title the viewer becomes curious as if this is the thing She Knows ; and by default She being the young man s mother. The message of J.Cole s video is predominately captured in two different scenes. The first being when the young man s mother gazes at him as he is being dropped off at school and the second being when the young man gazes at his mom, he walked into his house after school and found his mom with another man. Although both scenes add to the overall meaning of the video, they each does have a meaning of their own. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Similar to the previous scene, the young man is dominantly in the foreground. Different from the previous scene, now the mother and mysterious man are in the mid ground and the boring plain house is in the background. Once again the boring background draws the viewer s attention to what is happening within the foreground and background. The shot used here is an establishing one, because it develops the setting, and once where the shot was POV and the viewer could really only interpret the mother s thoughts, as a spectator in this scene the viewer can interpret both thoughts of the young man and the mother. Unlike that used in the previous scene, J.Cole uses a spectator gaze, because the viewer needs the full image to be able to interpret what is actually going on because without both the view of the son and mother, the understanding for the scene can become skewed. From the pieces analyzed in this scene it can be determined that the young man and mother are equally in shock because the mother was caught in the act of infidelity. Where as She Knows was thought to the young man s mother knowing he stole and was a juvenile turned to She Knows as she is aware that he know she was having an ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
