Best PCEP Classes
The Good Part of School: The Best PCEP Classes All of the best classes to take at PCEP share similar
qualities. They are all easy, fun, and elective based. Although a few are somewhat related to core
classes, they are still interesting nonetheless. I speak from experience because I have taken (or are
currently taking) almost all of the classes on this list. The most common quality that some classes
share is that they are easy. The easiest class of all would be Combination Rackets. All that is required
is to show up and participate. It s hard to not get an A unless attendance is an issue. Another really
easy class is Photoshop. There is never any homework and the majority of the graded work is the tests
that are given every once in a while. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The best electives to take are the gym classes. They are the most enjoyable overall because they are
both fun and easy. They can also potentially help boost a student s GPA because of how easy it is to
get an A. Another category of good electives are Auto classes. They re pretty simple and students can
get a lot of work accomplished in there, like doing repairs on a car belonging to a kid in the class.
There are opportunities to learn all the advanced techniques of mechanics in order to use them in the
future for fixing up cars. The third and most interesting category of electives is electronics classes, like
Photoshop and Web Design. They teach students a lot about computer skills and are really easy. They
can also be enjoyable sometimes when the class does special projects that involve students using
creativity to make something, like a website or a picture. In summary, they are lots of different types
of PCEP electives that are worth

DNAAnd DNAAnalysis
Part A
Done on the attached paper.
Answers to questions
1) How were you able to derive amino acids from your DNA sequence?
First of all, from the sense strand given in the question, I derived the antisense strand for it. This is
done by using the complementary Nitrogenous base concept. Guanine complements Cytosine,
Thymine complements Adenine and vice versa. Once this is done, we obtain the antisense strand.
Now the antisense strand is transcribed into messenger RNA (mRNA). Again Cytosine becomes
Guanine, Guanine becomes cytosine, Adenine becomes Uracil and thiamine becomes Adenine. In this
way we obtain an (mRNA) strand with codons (combinations of three nitrogenous bases). Now we
obtain the tRNA by converting the codons into ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In transcription, a DNA sequence is read by an RNA polymerase, which produces a complementary,
antisense RNA strand called a primary transcript from a strand of DNA called sense strand.
In contrast with DNA replication, transcription results in an RNA complement that includes the
nucleotideUracil (U) in all cases where Thymine (T) would have been in a DNA complement.
Only one of the two strands of DNA act as a template for transcription. The antisense strand of DNA
is read by RNA polymerase starting from the 3 end to the 5 end during transcription which proceeds
from 3 end to the 5 end. The complementary RNA is created in the exact opposite direction, i.e. the 5
to 3 direction, matching the sequence of the sensestrand with the exception of replacing uracil with
thymine. This directionality occursas RNA polymerase is only able to add nucleotides to the 3 end of
the elongating mRNA chain.
The non template or sensestrand of DNA is termed as the coding strand as its sequence is the same as
the newly created RNA transcript (except for the replacement of uracil for thymine)
.
Transcription proceeds in the following general steps:
1. RNA polymerase, together with one or some other general transcription factors, binds to promoter
DNA.
2. RNA polymerase makes a transcription bubble, which divides the two strands of the DNA helix.
This is achieved by breaking the hydrogen bonds between complementary

It is required to give less impact and weight to Mixon factors relating to form and more to substance,
based on the fact that the transactions were not made at arm s length.
Non exclusive Mixon factors that contributed to the decision:
1. Name given to certificates: Labels on documents conclude that the advances say they are debt, but
labels alone cannot change equity to debt. This factor favors the advances treated as debt, but there is
less weight to this factor because it is based on form rather than substance.
2. Presence or absence of a fixed maturity date: Although fixed maturity dates existed, postponing
maturity suggests a lack of intent to require repayment. This factor supports the treatment of the
advances as equity because the directors did not intend to request repayment and continually extended
the maturity dates, never enforcing them.
3. Source of payments: The petitioners claim liquidity and the ability to pay interest or principal on
amount owed, but conclusive findings show the insufficiency to pay interest or principal balance. This
factor supports the treatment of the advances as equity.

For example, there is less mass in the Universe than predicted. While some have confidently expected
that the missing mass would be located, it has yet to be found. Could the next few years throw up a
completely new theory of how the Universe started? Robotics and artificial intelligence, commonly
known as AI, are two related fields of research which promise much. One of the best known schemes
is the Cog Project a humanoid robot that can act, talk and even look like a person. Hans Moravec, an
AI pioneer, believes that by 2030 robots will be able to visualise tasks and assess the consequences of
their actions. By 2040 robots should be able to reason at least as efficiently as people. Moravec even
envisages a world where robots will display superhuman reasoning . By 2050, emotions will be
commonplace because they will help machines to bond with their human masters. All this, however,
raises an intriguing question: will robots be so similar to us that they, too, will start wondering where
they came from? As well as showing awareness of the world, will they be aware of themselves? In
other words, will they be self conscious? By the middle of the next century, we may even begin to
wonder whether such advanced robots, with their enormous mental capacities and physical strength,
pose a threat to their human inventors. The cyborg the fusion of man and machine is another plausible
prospect in our lifetime. Doctors have already devised silicon chips

Epiphanies in Joyce s Dubliners and Chaucer s Canterbury...
James Joyce s Dubliners is a compilation of stories that all rely on character epiphanies in order to
develop each story. These epiphanies change the tone of each story because each yields a negative
change or reaction. In both Araby and The Dead , the characters realize or learn something about the
world around them, which makes them second guess either themselves or the reason behind their
actions. Geoffrey Chaucer s Canterbury Tales contains at least one tale that relies on an epiphany to
help develop theme but it doesn t change the tone or course of the story, it just helps to portray the true
meaning of the character. The Pardoner becomes a deeper character because of his epiphany, which is
what makes it important to the rest of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Another factor that could possibly have helped to cause the Pardoner s epiphany is the pilgrimage, he
feels the need to repent for all his hypocrisy and scams so his soul doesn t go a blackberrying (pg 511,
ll 78) when he dies. The Pardoner s epiphany doesn t change the course or the tone of the tale in itself,
because he continues to act the way he usually does in regards to his relics and pardons. However, at
the end of the tale the way he acts towards the travelers is just a cover of how he is truly feeling.
The situation is different in Joyce s Dubliners. Each story involves an epiphany that causes the
character to have a negative outlook on life. It changes the tone of the story completely. For example,
in Araby a young boy has a negative experience at a bazaar, which alters his view of the world. He just
wanted to impress an older girl that he loved because she couldn t go to Araby at all. He was so
excited and mesmerized by the thought of the bazaar and possibly even winning the girl s love, that
even the syllables of the word Araby were called to me through the silence in which my soul
luxuriated and cast an Eastern enchantment over me (pg 17). However, the atmosphere of Araby was
the exact opposite of what the boy had been imagining because it wasn t exotic at all. Plus, it was dark
and empty because he arrived around

Real Life Couple s Trouble in The Stockton Civic Theatre’s...
The Stockton Civic Theatre s production of Avenue Q last Thursday night depicts an accurate
portrayal of life after graduating from college. The protagonist is a fresh out of college puppet named
Princeton who is trying to seek a job and housing in the outer borough of New York City. After finding
a cheap and unoccupied room in an apartment located on Avenue Q, Princeton befriends his neighbors
who are made up of both people and puppets. Princeton meets and falls in love with an elementary
teacher, Kate Monster. Together they face the same real life problems couples deal with in present
times. Throughout the whole performance, Princeton is constantly troubled about finding his purpose
in life. Princeton, who is played by Jacob Bronson has the ability to connect with the audience despite
being visible holding the puppet on stage. Bronson is not only a good actor, but also excels in his
singing. He has a very loud and distinctive voice which is proven in the beginning of the play, What
Do You Do with a B.A. in English? Kate Monster, who is played by Randi Linee also has the ability to
connect with the audience even though she is clearly visible holding the puppet. She gives Kate a very
vibrant and expressive character and uses hand movements to help show Kate s emotions. Kate s hand
gestures are not a big distraction unlike the other actors holding puppets. Linee s representation of the
emotion of being distraught over love is very realistic and makes the audience

1.1 Database Planning
This project bases the database planning process on the needs of a beverage company. The company is
known to manufacture, market, and distribute soft drink products internationally. Analysts prepare
budget forecasts and compare performance to budget forecasts on a monthly basis. The measures that
analysts track are profit, loss and inventory from the financial database. The company uses huge
spreadsheet packages to prepare budget data and perform variance reporting. Because they plan and
track a variety of products over several markets, deriving and analyzing data is tedious because it is
done manually. Last month, they spent most of their time entering and rekeying data and preparing
reports. They have determined ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Malignant Brain Tumors
Malignant gliomas are the most common type of primary brain tumors. As already shown in the
Central Brain Tumor Registry of the United States (CBTRUS) report from 1998 2002, gliomas
account for approximately 80 % of all malignant brain tumors and at least 30 % of all brain and CNS
neoplasms (Ostrom et al., 2014). A number of putative risk factors that have been associated with
brain tumors have been discussed. However, there is no clear cause for brain and CNS tumors. Less
that 1 % are linked to lifestyle or environmental factors (Parkin, Boyd, Walker, 2011). The only
exposure that has been shown to affect glioma risk is ionizing radiation and has been classified as a

About 22,400 gliomas are diagnosed each year in the U.S. of which approximately 12,075 are
glioblastomas. The incidence rate is 3,19 per 100,000 persons per year and rises with increasing age.
The median age of diagnosis is 64 years and has been reported to be higher in men compared to
women (Ostrom et al., 2013).
Like others, glioblastomas can develop either de novo as primary GBM or through the progression of
lower grade astrocytoma (secondary GBM) (Peiffer Kleihues, 1999). With about 90 %, primary GBM
account for the vast majority. The two types are hardly distinguishable from a histological point of
view, but show differences concerning their genetic and epigenetic profiles. With regard to this,
primary glioblastomas are characterized by EGFR amplification and PTEN mutations whereas
secondary GBM show genetic alterations in TP53 for instance (Ohgaki Kleihues, 2007, 2013). In
addition, mutations in isocitrate dehydrogenase (IDH) 1 are claimed to be frequent in secondary
glioblastoma, thus used to be a genetic marker for these (Ohgaki Kleihues, 2013). Furthermore GBM
can also be classified into four different subtypes on the basis of gene expression. These include the

The Rationality of Probabilities for Actions in Decision...
The Rationality of Probabilities for Actions in Decision Theory
ABSTRACT: Spohn s decision model, an advancement of Fishburn s theory, is valuable for making
explicit the principle used also by other thinkers that any adequate quantitative decision model must
not explicitly or implicitly contain any subjective probabilities for acts. This principle is not used in
the decision theories of Jeffrey or of Luce and Krantz. According to Spohn, this principle is important
because it has effects on the term of action, on Newcomb s problem, and on the theory of causality
and the freedom of the will. On the one hand, I will argue against Spohn with Jeffrey that the principle
has to be given up. On the other, I will try to argue against ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In 1969 Robert Nozick introduced Newcomb s problem to the philosophic community as a conflict
between the principle of expected utility maximization and the principle of dominance. Nozick s
introduction led to a Newcombmania (Levi 1982), because philosophers have decisively different
opinions about the correct solution to this problem. The Newcombmania showed itself in the
development of causal and evidential decision theories and other proposals. Because the evidential
theories (for example Jeffrey 1965, 1983) do not use the principle, they cannot give a solution to
Newcomb s problem in case you accept the principle. The causal theories which use subjunctive
conditionals (for example Lewis 1981) are problematical, because they still have to provide a logic of
subjunctive conditionals, a probability theory for subjunctive conditionals and a corresponding
decision theory. Because Skyrms (1980) causal theory and Kyburg s (1980) proposal of epistemic vs.
stochastic independence also don t use the principle, only Spohn s solution (1978) to Newcomb s
problem is left. This solution which recommends taking both boxes is valuable for its simplicity in
contrast to the theories with subjunctive conditionals. According to Spohn it is a mistake to use
probabilities conditionalized on actions for the results of the prediction, if the prediction is earlier than
the choice. According to Spohn it is right that the

Similarities Between Baroque And Baroque Eras
Introduction
European design has evolved over the centuries from the Renaissance era of the 15th century to
Baroque era of the 16th century right through to the Rococo era of the late 1700 s. Even though the
style might have changed, some elements can be traced across all three periods.
This essay will explore the similarities and differences in the aforementioned eras by singling out 4
different examples from these eras and how these influenced or affected the society and patrons who
commissioned these artworks at that time.
Emphasis will be placed on specific examples that best demonstrate the style of each era. The image
examples used in this essay are firstly the ceiling of the Sistine chapel and the bronze David by
Donatello. Both ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
After the peak of the Renaissance era of 1600 Rome, there was a move towards a style that was more
dramatic and celebrated the church and the elite. This style melodramatically reaffirmed the emotional
depths of the catholic faith and glorified both the church and monarch (History of Art, 1933:284).
Baroque is distinguished by the grander sense of space in architecture, intense emotion and movement
in painting and sculpture. Opulence and grandeur is often displayed in the ostentatious interiors homes
of the elite and the church was highly decorated.
Some similarities between Baroque and Renaissance eras, is the strong use of light and shade to create
depth and realism.
The word Baroque derives from the Portuguese word barocco which seems to imply an irregularly
shaped or imperfect pearl. Which is quite ironic since Baroque design was anything but imperfect.
Rococo
The style of the Rococo period can be characterised as being playful and asymmetrical as opposed to
that of Baroque. Though there are similarities between the two stylistic periods, Rococo design is
more ornate and motifs usually resemble shells and stones and the intricate designs are often gilded
with gold and other precious metals. The colour palette is muted and emphasis is placed on the design
rather than the

University in Cleveland, Ohio, where he taught for one year, before accepting an education

College until his departure in 1940; his career centered largely on evaluating the learning process and
testing intelligence. Edward Thorndike was a powerful psychologist who is often referred to as the
establisher of modern educational psychology. He was perhaps most known for his remarkable puzzle
box experiments with feline which led to the elaboration of his law of effect. Thorndike s
commencement suggests that responses instantly followed by gratification will be more credible to

discouragement will become less probable to happen. Thorndike s commencement also played a
significant role in the elaboration of behaviorism and B.F. Skinner s operant conditioning. Thorndike s
law of effect refers to human behavior and is supported by his confidence that human behavior can be
analyzed in the stimulus response units. Edward s

his personality to fit in with the other men. He did continue to try to incorporate himself into being a

In the process, the land ethic shifts the position of Homo sapiens from being a conqueror to being a
citizen of the land community. The relationship that people develop with land in utilizing the

Negligence Of Negligence Falls Under Tort Law
.0 Introduction Negligence is the failure to exercise due care or diligence that a reasonable or prudent
man would exercise in similar circumstances. The law of negligence falls under tort law where it
involves harm that is caused by carelessness and not intentional harm (Katter, 2002). A tort is a civil
wrong that is in the form of a breach of duty, which amounts to legal remedy that is awarded in
damages. Tort law rests upon two principles that state that an act or omission by the defendant
interferes with the rights of the plaintiff, which in turn causes damages (Trindade, 2007). Secondly, the
interference caused by the defendant gives rise to a cause of action for damages that are as near as
possible to the plaintiff s loss. Therefore, negligence can be defined as doing something that a
reasonable man would not have done in similar circumstances or failure to do what a reasonable man
would have done which amounts to infliction of harm.
2.0 Background The main idea of the law of negligence is to ensure that people exercise reasonable
care when they act by measuring the potential harm that may foreseeably cause harm to other people.
Negligence is the principal trigger for liability to ascend in matters that deal with the loss of property
of personal injury. Therefore, a person cannot be liable for something unless they have been found
negligent or have contributed to the loss of property or injury to the plaintiff (Stuhmcke, 2005). There

Essay On Bulimia Nervosa
Bulimia Nervosa is another eating disorder discussed in the DSM 5 (2013), that is most prevalent in
later adolescence and young adulthood in females (p. 437). In order for one to be diagnosed, one must
meet four criterion. Criteria A is recurrent episodes of binge eating characterized by the following;
eating in a discrete period of time (2 hours), and amount of food that is larger than most individuals
would eat in a similar period and the second a sense of lack of control over eating during the episode
(DSM v, 2013, p. 346). Women who are bulimic tend to eat a vast amount of food in a short period of
time just to purge as a result. This intensity it of consuming, must happen in a moderate amount of
time in order to be considered bulimic. Better understood by Abraham (2008) she states, an episode of
binge eating occurs when the woman s resistance to eating fails and she has an irresistible desire to eat

The Mill On The Floss Play Analysis
I saw the production The Mill on the Floss at BYU on Wednesday, November 8 and Wednesday
November, 15 2017. The show took place in the Margetts Theatre and was directed by Adam
Houghton. This show tells the story of Maggie Tulliver as she faces the challenges of growing up. The
play is unique as three actress play Maggie, at each of the different ages of the story. There are
multiple elements to demonstrate the changes that Maggie goes to as she grows older. The sound
effect of water expresses Maggie s raging river of emotions as they flow from one feeling to another
while the change in her hairstyle shows the more permanent changes to her personality that occurs as
she grows older.
Water is an important part of Maggie s life. She lives ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Her hair reflects that with its untameable mess of curls. These curls bounce as she walks and heightens
the energy that Maggie has inside her. These curls are a representation of Maggie s contention with her
mother and aunts as the fact that they constantly try to control Maggie s hair, just as they try to control
Maggie s spirit. Maggie s decision to cut her hair shows her attempt to try to control her life and do
what she wants, not what others want her to do. Furthermore, when we see second Maggie, her hair is
more control. It is now in a tight braid, pressed firmly against her skull. Maggie s attempt at trying to
control her hair is representative of her attempt to try to control the wild spirit from her childhood. She
is trying to become a more selfless, religious person, refusing to give into the world. However, there
are wisps of hair that cannot be tamed by the braid. This shows the part of Maggie s spirit that is
unable to be controlled, which we see in Maggie s interaction with the forbidden Philip Wakem. As
much as she tries to control herself, Maggie cannot control everything. Moreover, we see this change
happen again when we are introduce to third Maggie. Third Maggie is a dignified, regal young women
and her hair reflects that. Her hair is up in an elaborate updo based at the nape of her neck. She has
made the transitioned from girl to woman. This new hairdo shows how Maggie has finally found
herself, and is beginning to understand what she wants out of life: to be an independent woman who is
able to think and provide for herself. The changes in hairstyle reflect Maggie s more permanent
change in character as she grows up and finds herself through trials and

An Essay On The Movie Atonement
The film, Atonement, is about a dramatic romance during the 1930 s in England. This film has 3 parts
to it. First part tells the story of the Tallis Family in 1935. The two main characters, Cecilia and
Robbie, are in love but Cecilia s younger sister, Briony, does not like the idea of them two being
together. They had cousins living with them at the time. One evening the twin cousins went missing
and everybody was out searching for them. Briony stumbles across a man who has apparently raped
Lola. She was unable to identify the man clearly but gave Lola the idea that it was Robbie. Lola

crime. There were many scenes in this movie that had happened in real life. For example, when the
British Army was waiting to evacuate the beaches of Dunkirk, the Germans still continued to attack,
which was an accurate detail from the war that was played in this movie. It showed that the Germans
were heartless. The battle of Dunkirk was a fight between Germany and the allies. The Germans
trapped British and French armies on the beaches of Dunkirk. There were about 330,000 men that
were trapped. The beach was unable to allow large boats to get near where the actual men were.
Smaller boats were brought in where men boarded on and then soon after got transferred to a larger
boat. There were about 800 little ships that were used to save these men that were trapped. Although
there were numerous amounts of casualties, the evacuation was a boost for the British and it gave
confidence to the allies to keep fighting. This film was an accurate depiction of the time period

Compare Reduced Instruction Set Computer (CISC And Cisc
Compare and contrast reduced instruction set computer (RISC) with the complex Instruction set
computer(CISC) [20]
Definitions:
(CISC) The term CISC (Complex Instruction Set Computer or Computing) refers to computers
designed with a full set of computer instructions that were intended to provide needed capabilities in
the most efficient way. Later, it was discovered that, by reducing the full set to only the most
frequently used instructions, the computer would get more work done in a shorter amount of time for
most applications. Since this was called reduced instruction set computing (RISC), there was now a
need to have something to call full set instruction computers thus, the term CISC.

Since each instruction type that a computer must perform requires additional transistors and circuitry,
a larger list or set of computer instructions tends to make the microprocessor more complicated and
slower in operation.
Most RISC designs use uniform instruction length for almost all instructions, and employ strictly
separate load/store instructions.
Throughout the years various suggestions have been made regarding a precise definition of RISC, but
the general concept is that of a system that uses a really small, highly optimized set of instructions,
rather than a more versatile set of instructions often found in other types of architectures like C.I.S.C,
another common trait is that RISC systems use the load/store architecture, which is where memory is
normally accessed only through certain specific instructions, rather than accessed as part of other
instructions like

George Whitefield Religion And Slavery
Many atrocious things were in motion during the 1700s in the New World. The English colonies of the
New World had an economy based on African slaves. English colonies had the biggest influx of
Africans. Not only were Africans effected by slavery, but so were many of the English settlers
themselves. Religion conflicted with the practice of slavery, which caused the colonists to in a sense
awaken and form new explicit opinions about religion. This caused previous conveyers of religion to
judge the new ways colonists were thinking about and acting out religion. This awakening in religion
was preached by many preachers. At the forefront of the movement was one such preacher known as
George Whitfield. Many other people during George ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

But further, if teaching slaves Christianity has such a bad influence upon their lives, why are you
desirous of having your children taught? Think you, they are any way better by nature than the poor
negroes? No, in no ways. Blacks are just as much, and no more, conceived and born in sin, as white
men are: both, if born and bred up here, I am persuaded are naturally capable of the same
improvement. (Whitefield, 4) In this quote Whitefield questions that if Christianity has such a bad
influence on the slaves, then why are colonists so eager to teach it to their offspring. George
Whitefield states that blacks are no more born into sin then white men. He believes that both races sin
equally.
George Whitefield played a massive role in the Great Awakening. He was an English minister that
used the local revivals of Edwards and the Tennants to create a Great Awakening within himself.
Whitefield then traveled across the Atlantic Ocean to spread his message to the English colonists.

Analysis Of The Poem Bacchus Discovering Ariadne
Jacob Jordaens, Bacchus Discovering Ariadne, late 1640 s
This painting that I have found while venturing the Museum of Fine Arts has definitely caught my eye
for infinite reasons. Bacchus Discovering Ariadne by Jacob Jordaens was definitely a painting that has
a story, but the thing is, there isn t much about it, which is a challenge. Most of the focus in this
painting is set on Ariadne and the meeting between her and Bacchus. Not only that but the painting,
and all other paintings associated with this myth, focus on the shift from divine perfection to humanity
that is found in Renaissance and Baroque artwork. The oil painting made by Jacob Jordaens tells the
story of Ariadne, the princess of Crete, being deserted on the Island of Naxos by Theseus, the
Athenian prince who she helped escape from her father s labyrinth. Bacchus, whom is the god of
wine, and his satyrs discover her, and he falls in love with Ariadne. As a testimony of his devotion he
holds up her crown, which he will then toss into the heavens to create a constellation in her honor. In
this painting he shows Ariadne as an extremely feminine figure that s not only fair but regarded as
beautiful The body of Bacchus is sculpted showing the muscles in his legs and throughout the rest of
his body. But the contrast in this painting is striking. The contrast of this painting lies between the
structural elements of Bacchus and of the three satyrs that have accompanied him. These satyrs are in
dim lighting and less

Wrestling As A Social Phenomenon
Professional Wrestling is a world renowned topic that has universally shaped the lives of many
individuals around the world. There is no denying that professional wrestling is firmly entrenched as a
part of modern culture. Wrestling has become a multimillion dollar industry with a very long history
dating back hundreds of years. I have decided to write about and discuss the lack of explanation
sociologists have when describing wrestling as a social phenomenon. The reason I have decided to
write about this topic is because as a child I was fascinated by pro wrestling, more specifically, World
Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). I feel that wrestling has played an important role in my
development socially, emotionally, and physically. To begin, it is important to understand that
wrestling is above and beyond a spectacle as described by Roland Barthes. Wrestling is an investment
in one s self. It is an accumulation of countless hours spent on the wrestling mat, in the gym, and in
the studio. It is a display of hegemonic masculinity to its highest degree, wrestlers understand this.
Professional Wrestlers understand that the nature of the sport is tough, unforgiving, and requires a
superhero attitude. The common goals shared amongst the wrestling culture have a distinct impact on
how wrestlers identify themselves to society. Socially, wrestling has not been analyzed as closely as it
should be. Subconsciously, individuals who attend or express an interest in professional

Occupational Therapy And Eating Disorder Recovery
I struggled to find an occupational therapist to interview for this assignment. Without knowing the big
movers in the field of occupational therapy and eating disorder recovery, I felt I was grasping at
nothing. I did actively pursue many authors of papers that focused on OT and ED but received no
response. This was regardless of my mode of communication, zero phone calls back and emails
unresponsive. I decided to change my approach to this and stepped outside of the field of OT. This is
when I found a professional willing to speak with me.
I interviewed Miranda Phelps from Waterville, Maine. Phelps is a clinical psychologist who has been
practicing since 1998. I found the contact information for Phelps through the eating disorder treatment
team directory from the Eating Disorders Association of Maine. We sat down for the interview on
March 2nd at her Waterville office. I chose to pursue this interview with Phelps because I perceived
her to be client centered and she mentioned using various approaches that I am interested in
implementing when I m working with clients that would like to utilize them. These approaches
included reflective listening, narrative therapy and mind body perspectives. Upon arrival I learned that
though Dr. Phelps is on the ED treatment team for the Waterville area, she has not had much
experience in treating individuals with ED but that this was a common thread among all practitioners
in the state of Maine. My first question to Miranda was why

As the pipelines crossed the borders of states, the jurisdiction problem arose leading to regulatory gap.
From 1911 to 1928, the interstate pipelines were left unregulated. During the same period a series of
judgments from Supreme Court were declared stating that the state governments cannot regulate these
interstate pipelines, as it violates a commerce clause in Constitution . This resulted in entry of the
Federal government to fill the regulatory gap.
Meanwhile in electric utility sector which has a large number of companies developed very complex
pyramid ownership holding patterns. A company is in holding of another company and which in turn
is in holding of another company which is in turn is in holding by another company. With conflicting
interests in top management, end customers prices were peaking high and operations were became
inefficient. Based on Federal trade commission s report on the situation, federal government passed
the Public Utility Holding Company Act 1935 (PUHCA) , which specified rules for the holding
patterns for utility companies. This act s purview also included the natural gas utilities, but nothing
was stated regarding the interstate pipelines.
In 1938, the Federal Government passed the Natural Gas Act (NGA) for regulating the interstate
pipelines. The act added the interstate natural gas pipelines to the Federal Power Commission s (FPC)
(now FERC) jurisdiction. The FPC regulated two major areas.

Imperialism In Africa
Imperialism was a time of new inventions, technology, and many other things. Imperialism had many
positive things like, transportation, spread of technology, and an increase in education. Because of
Imperialism transportation became a thing. Also communication with other foreign countries became a
thing. Then there was an increase in education too. Without imperialism transportation would not be a
thing. One example is railroads, railroads are used for transporting people to and from their
destinations. Another example are steamboats, without steamboats people would never be able to
transport their goods to and from. People will say but slaves made these railroads. Well without
transportation everyone would have to walk to every single place we wanted to go. Because of
imperialism spread of languages around the world started to happen. An example of this is that now
tribes can communicate with other foreign countries, this is good because now we can understand
tribes and what they are trying to say to us. Also other foreign countries can communicate with each

Should The Fair Use Doctrine Must Be Won And Defended On...
According to Intellectual Property Quotes (n.d.), While American intellectual property deserves
protection, that protection must be won and defended in a manner that does not stifle innovation,
erode due process under the law, and weaken the protection of political and civil rights on the Internet
(Intellectual Property Quotes, n.d.). In this paper I will discuss the facts and legal reasoning of this
case, what the Fair Use Doctrine is, and will answer the following: why it is important to protect
intellectual property, why it is important for society to have access to intellectual property, and
whether the Fair Use Doctrine properly balances the rights of content producers against the public

Facts and Legal Reasoning of This Case According to Gambino (2011, June 21), in a recent movie

Moral Injustice In Antigone
Antigone, a magnificent dramatic character, is a woman of courage whose actions and behavior are
completely understandable in the light of modern ideology. Although, she is more ordinary rather than
exceptional. Antigone is the daughter of Oedipus and sister to Eteocles and Polynices, she had been
leading a double life when her brothers Polynices and Eteocles harmed each other treacherously in a
dispute over the throne. It follows that, the person who refuses to follow orders will be sentenced to
death. It s says in Greek literature that women were only allowed to show conventional signs of
sorrows that indicate the death of a person, and to obey Creons orders. For this reason, those people
are obligated to obey Creon s law because they fear the consequences if they do not intend to do so.
From this point, Antigone recognizes that the law is unfair and decided to make uncompromising
decisions that will cost her life entirely by going against the king. Admittedly, Antigone s
manipulations will lead to complicated decisions and away from social obligations where she has to
sacrifice her life for an unjust law to correct it. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

In O Brien s book when Ted Lavender died everyone was kind of sad in there own way. If it was just
saying what happened over and over again and annoying others by it , or just thinking it in their head ,
thinking it was their fault. When a soldier dies in war the others still alive become sad because the
person they were getting to know and their brother in a way just died right next to them, they had a
connection with each other and now it s gone. In Hardy s poem when he kills the other soldier, his foe
he feels remorse for what he just did. He starts to overthink what he had just done to a man that could
have been his friend, but because their countries were at war, they were foes from the start of the war
even if they were not part of the war yet.
They way that the titles were written The Man He Killed Thomas Hardy , and O Brien s The Man I
Killed I think they both should have just said The Man I Killed because they way it is told it sounds
like they are both talking about them killing someone else. Thomas Hardy could have been talking
about himself or someone else in a war that happened before or an upcoming war that he was just
thinking about and that story popped into his head. In O Brien s story we kind of know it is him
talking about him killing another man even though in past chapters he was talking as if he were them

Investigation of How Mark Shows the Difference Between Jesus and the Pharisees Over the
Observance of the Sabbath
Jesus and the Pharisees face each other and test each others religious and spiritual knowledge and
understanding regularly in Mark s gospel. These common conflicts brought emphasis to just how
much Jesus knew about God s opinions of the Sabbath in comparison to the Pharisees. On many
occasions he even outsmarted the great teachers of the law. Jesus was constantly the first to be
confronted by the Pharisees but always the one to make the last point, because as much as they tried
the Pharisees could never beat Jesus in a test of spiritual and religious knowledge. However, they
persisted in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, the Pharisees were brought up in a completely different way because of this, their opinions
and interpretation about Jewish life were different to his. I will now provide some information
surrounding the Pharisees:
The word Pharisee means separated one . I assume that this was the name issued to them due to the
fact that they thought so highly of themselves that they were separated from the rest of society. They
considered themselves superior to the other Jews, because of their knowledge on the Holy Scriptures.
They became almost like teachers to the public due to their knowledge, as people were to come to
them for advice since they assumed that the scriptures had solutions to all of their problems. Many
people became dependant on the Pharisees religious guidance which made them powerful and a
significant group of people. I believe that their abilities made some of the Pharisees overconfident, self
centred and big headed .
The Pharisees came from among wealthy business people and merchants. This is partially why they
thought so highly of themselves, because of their great financial network. The only significant thing to
the Pharisees was their oral law, the Law of Moses and the law of the Sabbath and how their rules and
standards were being kept. They wanted the rest of the Jewish community to live by a strict code of

How The War Of Terror Has Changed America

Academic Writing
9 April 2015
How the War of Terror has Changed America On September 11, 2001 the United States of America
was forever changed. A series of attacks lead by a man named Osama Bin Laden, the leader of the
organization called Al Qaeda, would bring America into a new war, the War on Terror. This war would
not be like the wars of before, nation against nation, but would rather be a much more global conflict (
War ). The war would also not merely involve the United States, but also every western country. The
reason behind this war is one word, Jihad. The definition of jihad is a war fought by Muslims to
defend or spread their belief ( Jihad ). The United States of America has changed the way it ... Show

While in the end, no battles were fought, the communist nation of the Soviet Union, and America s
only clear opponent in the world, fell, and The United States of America became the only world
superpower (Lusted).
During the late 1970s into the late 1980s the United States was very active in the Middle East. The
Soviet Union had much control over much of Afghanistan. The United States of America saw this as a
clear threat, the spread of Communism. With the assistance of the Palestinian government, the United
States funded the Palestinians to fight the Russians. This situation eventually lead to what would later
be called the Taliban. When communism ended and the threat of the Soviets was gone, the United
States of America was in a pretty good place. In the years 1990 to 1991, the United States along with
many other countries were part of a coalition to take out the leader Saddam Hussein, from power in
Iraq. This operation was known as Operation Desert Storm. After 42 days of allied bombardment, the
Iraqi military surrendered, ending in a victory for the coalition ( Persian ).
The events of September 11, in the year 2001 would change the United States from the inside out. On
that date, a series of brutal attacks were lead against the United States. At 8:46 am American Airlines
flight 11 crashed into the North tower of the World Trade Center. Twenty minutes later at 9:03 am, the
United Airlines flight 175 crashed into the

How Athletes Are Overpaid
How much of an importance on productivity do athletes have on today s society? Whether they have
little to none, their contracts and endorsements tend to say otherwise. For example, David Beckham, a
retired Los Angeles Galaxy soccer player, has received a forty eight million dollar career total, while a
GS 13 level astronaut makes roughly one hundred thousand dollars a year. Some say that athletes earn
their money just as we do, but that is not so apparent. Another example is how Kobe Bryant is making
twenty three million dollars this year. According to his agent though, his on court abilities plus his
talent justify his earnings, if this was the point in all jobs, then doctors and lawyers would be making
millions while athletes are put on the backburner of society. This issue is so insanely horrible that
bottom of the totem pole athletes are still making hundreds of thousands more than most PhD
graduates receive. Same goes for injured players too. If an athlete is injured, then he is unable to play,
yet he still receives his money, because once the contract is signed, what is done is done. Athletes
were not always paid more than CEOs in today s market. In early stages of the American Football
system, when it was not corrupted, almost all of the players had to have a normal day job on top of
playing, because they played for fun, not for money. In today s economy, athletes and their pay checks
are far too large considering they are only used for entertainment, and they

  • 2. Best PCEP Classes The Good Part of School: The Best PCEP Classes All of the best classes to take at PCEP share similar qualities. They are all easy, fun, and elective based. Although a few are somewhat related to core classes, they are still interesting nonetheless. I speak from experience because I have taken (or are currently taking) almost all of the classes on this list. The most common quality that some classes share is that they are easy. The easiest class of all would be Combination Rackets. All that is required is to show up and participate. It s hard to not get an A unless attendance is an issue. Another really easy class is Photoshop. There is never any homework and the majority of the graded work is the tests that are given every once in a while. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The best electives to take are the gym classes. They are the most enjoyable overall because they are both fun and easy. They can also potentially help boost a student s GPA because of how easy it is to get an A. Another category of good electives are Auto classes. They re pretty simple and students can get a lot of work accomplished in there, like doing repairs on a car belonging to a kid in the class. There are opportunities to learn all the advanced techniques of mechanics in order to use them in the future for fixing up cars. The third and most interesting category of electives is electronics classes, like Photoshop and Web Design. They teach students a lot about computer skills and are really easy. They can also be enjoyable sometimes when the class does special projects that involve students using creativity to make something, like a website or a picture. In summary, they are lots of different types of PCEP electives that are worth ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. DNAAnd DNAAnalysis Part A Done on the attached paper. Answers to questions 1) How were you able to derive amino acids from your DNA sequence? First of all, from the sense strand given in the question, I derived the antisense strand for it. This is done by using the complementary Nitrogenous base concept. Guanine complements Cytosine, Thymine complements Adenine and vice versa. Once this is done, we obtain the antisense strand. Now the antisense strand is transcribed into messenger RNA (mRNA). Again Cytosine becomes Guanine, Guanine becomes cytosine, Adenine becomes Uracil and thiamine becomes Adenine. In this way we obtain an (mRNA) strand with codons (combinations of three nitrogenous bases). Now we obtain the tRNA by converting the codons into ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In transcription, a DNA sequence is read by an RNA polymerase, which produces a complementary, antisense RNA strand called a primary transcript from a strand of DNA called sense strand. In contrast with DNA replication, transcription results in an RNA complement that includes the nucleotideUracil (U) in all cases where Thymine (T) would have been in a DNA complement. Only one of the two strands of DNA act as a template for transcription. The antisense strand of DNA is read by RNA polymerase starting from the 3 end to the 5 end during transcription which proceeds from 3 end to the 5 end. The complementary RNA is created in the exact opposite direction, i.e. the 5 to 3 direction, matching the sequence of the sensestrand with the exception of replacing uracil with thymine. This directionality occursas RNA polymerase is only able to add nucleotides to the 3 end of the elongating mRNA chain. The non template or sensestrand of DNA is termed as the coding strand as its sequence is the same as the newly created RNA transcript (except for the replacement of uracil for thymine) . Transcription proceeds in the following general steps: 1. RNA polymerase, together with one or some other general transcription factors, binds to promoter DNA. 2. RNA polymerase makes a transcription bubble, which divides the two strands of the DNA helix. This is achieved by breaking the hydrogen bonds between complementary ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 6. Epiphanies in Joyce s Dubliners and Chaucer s Canterbury... James Joyce s Dubliners is a compilation of stories that all rely on character epiphanies in order to develop each story. These epiphanies change the tone of each story because each yields a negative change or reaction. In both Araby and The Dead , the characters realize or learn something about the world around them, which makes them second guess either themselves or the reason behind their actions. Geoffrey Chaucer s Canterbury Tales contains at least one tale that relies on an epiphany to help develop theme but it doesn t change the tone or course of the story, it just helps to portray the true meaning of the character. However, at the end of the tale the way he acts towards the travelers is just a cover of how he is truly feeling. The situation is different in Joyce s Dubliners. Each story involves an epiphany that causes the character to have a negative outlook on life. It changes the tone of the story completely. For example, in Araby a young boy has a negative experience at a bazaar, which alters his view of the world. He just wanted to impress an older girl that he loved because she couldn t go to Araby at all. He was so excited and mesmerized by the thought of the bazaar and possibly even winning the girl s love, that even the syllables of the word Araby were called to me through the silence in which my soul luxuriated and cast an Eastern enchantment over me (pg 17). The Stockton Civic Theatre s production of Avenue Q last Thursday night depicts an accurate portrayal of life after graduating from college. The protagonist is a fresh out of college puppet named Princeton who is trying to seek a job and housing in the outer borough of New York City. After finding a cheap and unoccupied room in an apartment located on Avenue Q, Princeton befriends his neighbors who are made up of both people and puppets. Princeton meets and falls in love with an elementary teacher, Kate Monster. Together they face the same real life problems couples deal with in present times. The Rationality of Probabilities for Actions in Decision Theory ABSTRACT: Spohn s decision model, an advancement of Fishburn s theory, is valuable for making explicit the principle used also by other thinkers that any adequate quantitative decision model must not explicitly or implicitly contain any subjective probabilities for acts. This principle is not used in the decision theories of Jeffrey or of Luce and Krantz. According to Spohn, this principle is important because it has effects on the term of action, on Newcomb s problem, and on the theory of causality and the freedom of the will. In 1969 Robert Nozick introduced Newcomb s problem to the philosophic community as a conflict between the principle of expected utility maximization and the principle of dominance. Nozick s introduction led to a Newcombmania (Levi 1982), because philosophers have decisively different opinions about the correct solution to this problem. The Newcombmania showed itself in the development of causal and evidential decision theories and other proposals. Because the evidential theories (for example Jeffrey 1965, 1983) do not use the principle, they cannot give a solution to Newcomb s problem in case you accept the principle. The causal theories which use subjunctive conditionals (for example Lewis 1981) are problematical, because they still have to provide a logic of subjunctive conditionals, a probability theory for subjunctive conditionals and a corresponding decision theory. Because Skyrms (1980) causal theory and Kyburg s (1980) proposal of epistemic vs. stochastic independence also don t use the principle, only Spohn s solution (1978) to Newcomb s problem is left. This solution which recommends taking both boxes is valuable for its simplicity in contrast to the theories with subjunctive conditionals. According to Spohn it is a mistake to use probabilities conditionalized on actions for the results of the prediction, if the prediction is earlier than the choice. • 19. Negligence Of Negligence Falls Under Tort Law .0 Introduction Negligence is the failure to exercise due care or diligence that a reasonable or prudent man would exercise in similar circumstances. The law of negligence falls under tort law where it involves harm that is caused by carelessness and not intentional harm (Katter, 2002). A tort is a civil wrong that is in the form of a breach of duty, which amounts to legal remedy that is awarded in damages. Tort law rests upon two principles that state that an act or omission by the defendant interferes with the rights of the plaintiff, which in turn causes damages (Trindade, 2007). Secondly, the interference caused by the defendant gives rise to a cause of action for damages that are as near as possible to the plaintiff s loss. Therefore, negligence can be defined as doing something that a reasonable man would not have done in similar circumstances or failure to do what a reasonable man would have done which amounts to infliction of harm. 2.0 Background The main idea of the law of negligence is to ensure that people exercise reasonable care when they act by measuring the potential harm that may foreseeably cause harm to other people. Negligence is the principal trigger for liability to ascend in matters that deal with the loss of property of personal injury. Therefore, a person cannot be liable for something unless they have been found negligent or have contributed to the loss of property or injury to the plaintiff (Stuhmcke, 2005). There is more to ... In order for one to be diagnosed, one must meet four criterion. Criteria A is recurrent episodes of binge eating characterized by the following; eating in a discrete period of time (2 hours), and amount of food that is larger than most individuals would eat in a similar period and the second a sense of lack of control over eating during the episode (DSM v, 2013, p. 346). Women who are bulimic tend to eat a vast amount of food in a short period of time just to purge as a result. This intensity it of consuming, must happen in a moderate amount of time in order to be considered bulimic. Better understood by Abraham (2008) she states, an episode of binge eating occurs when the woman s resistance to eating fails and she has an irresistible desire to eat (p. 280). This type of behavior represents a sense of lack of control. Women who binge have a hard time stopping and controlling what and how much they are consuming. Maggie s decision to cut her hair shows her attempt to try to control her life and do what she wants, not what others want her to do. Furthermore, when we see second Maggie, her hair is more control. It is now in a tight braid, pressed firmly against her skull. Maggie s attempt at trying to control her hair is representative of her attempt to try to control the wild spirit from her childhood. She is trying to become a more selfless, religious person, refusing to give into the world. However, there are wisps of hair that cannot be tamed by the braid. This shows the part of Maggie s spirit that is unable to be controlled, which we see in Maggie s interaction with the forbidden Philip Wakem. As much as she tries to control herself, Maggie cannot control everything. Moreover, we see this change happen again when we are introduce to third Maggie. Third Maggie is a dignified, regal young women and her hair reflects that. Her hair is up in an elaborate updo based at the nape of her neck. She has made the transitioned from girl to woman. This new hairdo shows how Maggie has finally found herself, and is beginning to understand what she wants out of life: to be an independent woman who is able to think and provide for herself. The changes in hairstyle reflect Maggie s more permanent change in character as she grows up and finds herself through trials and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

It showed that the Germans were heartless. The battle of Dunkirk was a fight between Germany and the allies. The Germans trapped British and French armies on the beaches of Dunkirk. There were about 330,000 men that were trapped. The beach was unable to allow large boats to get near where the actual men were. Smaller boats were brought in where men boarded on and then soon after got transferred to a larger boat. There were about 800 little ships that were used to save these men that were trapped. Compare Reduced Instruction Set Computer (CISC And Cisc Compare and contrast reduced instruction set computer (RISC) with the complex Instruction set computer(CISC) [20] Definitions: (CISC) The term CISC (Complex Instruction Set Computer or Computing) refers to computers designed with a full set of computer instructions that were intended to provide needed capabilities in the most efficient way. Later, it was discovered that, by reducing the full set to only the most frequently used instructions, the computer would get more work done in a shorter amount of time for most applications. English colonies had the biggest influx of Africans. Not only were Africans effected by slavery, but so were many of the English settlers themselves. Religion conflicted with the practice of slavery, which caused the colonists to in a sense awaken and form new explicit opinions about religion. Blacks are just as much, and no more, conceived and born in sin, as white men are: both, if born and bred up here, I am persuaded are naturally capable of the same improvement. Analysis Of The Poem Bacchus Discovering Ariadne Jacob Jordaens, Bacchus Discovering Ariadne, late 1640 s This painting that I have found while venturing the Museum of Fine Arts has definitely caught my eye for infinite reasons. Bacchus Discovering Ariadne by Jacob Jordaens was definitely a painting that has a story, but the thing is, there isn t much about it, which is a challenge. Most of the focus in this painting is set on Ariadne and the meeting between her and Bacchus. Not only that but the painting, and all other paintings associated with this myth, focus on the shift from divine perfection to humanity that is found in Renaissance and Baroque artwork. The oil painting made by Jacob Jordaens tells the story of Ariadne, the princess of Crete, being deserted on the Island of Naxos by Theseus, the Athenian prince who she helped escape from her father s labyrinth. Bacchus, whom is the god of wine, and his satyrs discover her, and he falls in love with Ariadne. As a testimony of his devotion he holds up her crown, which he will then toss into the heavens to create a constellation in her honor. In this painting he shows Ariadne as an extremely feminine figure that s not only fair but regarded as beautiful The body of Bacchus is sculpted showing the muscles in his legs and throughout the rest of his body. But the contrast in this painting is striking. The contrast of this painting lies between the structural elements of Bacchus and of the three satyrs that have accompanied him. There is no denying that professional wrestling is firmly entrenched as a part of modern culture. Wrestling has become a multimillion dollar industry with a very long history dating back hundreds of years. I have decided to write about and discuss the lack of explanation sociologists have when describing wrestling as a social phenomenon. The reason I have decided to write about this topic is because as a child I was fascinated by pro wrestling, more specifically, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). I feel that wrestling has played an important role in my development socially, emotionally, and physically. To begin, it is important to understand that wrestling is above and beyond a spectacle as described by Roland Barthes. Wrestling is an investment in one s self. It is an accumulation of countless hours spent on the wrestling mat, in the gym, and in the studio. It is a display of hegemonic masculinity to its highest degree, wrestlers understand this. Professional Wrestlers understand that the nature of the sport is tough, unforgiving, and requires a superhero attitude. The common goals shared amongst the wrestling culture have a distinct impact on how wrestlers identify themselves to society. Socially, wrestling has not been analyzed as closely as it should be. I believe that their abilities made some of the Pharisees overconfident, self centred and big headed . The Pharisees came from among wealthy business people and merchants. This is partially why they thought so highly of themselves, because of their great financial network. The only significant thing to the Pharisees was their oral law, the Law of Moses and the law of the Sabbath and how their rules and standards were being kept. They wanted the rest of the Jewish community to live by a strict code of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 42. How The War Of Terror Has Changed America Kevin Hoopes Mrs. Engle Academic Writing 9 April 2015 How the War of Terror has Changed America On September 11, 2001 the United States of America was forever changed. A series of attacks lead by a man named Osama Bin Laden, the leader of the organization called Al Qaeda, would bring America into a new war, the War on Terror. This war would not be like the wars of before, nation against nation, but would rather be a much more global conflict ( War ). The war would also not merely involve the United States, but also every western country. The reason behind this war is one word, Jihad. The definition of jihad is a war fought by Muslims to defend or spread their belief ( Jihad ). The United States of America has changed the way it ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... During the late 1970s into the late 1980s the United States was very active in the Middle East. The Soviet Union had much control over much of Afghanistan. The United States of America saw this as a clear threat, the spread of Communism. With the assistance of the Palestinian government, the United States funded the Palestinians to fight the Russians. This situation eventually lead to what would later be called the Taliban. When communism ended and the threat of the Soviets was gone, the United States of America was in a pretty good place. In the years 1990 to 1991, the United States along with many other countries were part of a coalition to take out the leader Saddam Hussein, from power in Iraq. • 43. How Athletes Are Overpaid How much of an importance on productivity do athletes have on today s society? Whether they have little to none, their contracts and endorsements tend to say otherwise. For example, David Beckham, a retired Los Angeles Galaxy soccer player, has received a forty eight million dollar career total, while a GS 13 level astronaut makes roughly one hundred thousand dollars a year. Some say that athletes earn their money just as we do, but that is not so apparent. Another example is how Kobe Bryant is making twenty three million dollars this year. According to his agent though, his on court abilities plus his talent justify his earnings, if this was the point in all jobs, then doctors and lawyers would be making millions while athletes are put on the backburner of society. This issue is so insanely horrible that bottom of the totem pole athletes are still making hundreds of thousands more than most PhD graduates receive. Same goes for injured players too. If an athlete is injured, then he is unable to play, yet he still receives his money, because once the contract is signed, what is done is done. Athletes were not always paid more than CEOs in today s market. In early stages of the American Football system, when it was not corrupted, almost all of the players had to have a normal day job on top of playing, because they played for fun, not for money. In today s economy, athletes and their pay checks are far too large considering they are only used for entertainment, and they ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
