Optical Disc DriveReads and writes data to or from optical discs (CDs, DVDs, Blu-ray)Some drives can only read from discs, but recent drives are commonly both readers and recorders.
Graphics CardGenerates images to a display.	90% of computers on the market have video hardware integrated into the mother board but this is undesirable for running 3D applications
ModemAllows the computer the receive internet...can by bypassed by a router to have wifi
Sound Card	facilitates the input and output of audio signals to and from a computer under control of programs
