The document discusses how a rap magazine represents social groups through its use of a female model on the cover, which breaks conventions of the genre that typically features male rappers. It aims its content at 16-20 year old males who enjoy hanging out with friends, buying clothes and alcohol more than food, and likely live with parents while working part-time or full-time jobs. The magazine's simplistic and less provocative design distinguishes it from other rap magazines that connote sexuality and provocativeness.
