1. What have you learnt about
technologies from the
process of constructing
this product?

2. • During making my music magazine ive learnt a lot about the
technologies used to make magazines and my experience and skill of
using them has improved significantly during this process.
• Whilst making this I regularly placed items on my blog about what I
have been doing and my skills development. I will refer to my blog
posts later on during this slide presentation.

3. • To make my music magazine I have used multiple different
technologies. I used a Digital Camera to take my photographs, A
scanner when adding in my flat plans and moodboards to my blog,
Google Chrome to use DaFont, Blogger, Slideshare, Prezzi etc,
Microstoft Word, Microsoft Powerpoint, Photoshop and InDesign.

4. • I used photoshop for the editing of my photographs I manipulated the
colours and lighting to increase the quality of my photographs. It
came in very useful in the production of my music magazine and
made the images far more appealing and interesting than they
previously were.
• The use of photoshop is apparent on my contents page, where I used
it to change and edit the colours to fit with my house style.

5. • I used a scanner on multiple occasions, this enabled me to upload
different drawn images onto my blogger to show my plans and
development.
• It helped me to show my plans, which I then developed further on
InDesign, although I did not stick to all of my ideas used in my
flatplans they still helped me with a base to start from.

6. • I used InDesign for the creation of my contents page and double-page
spread. I constructed my design from flatplans that I had originally
made, incorporating my edited images from Photoshop. It came in
extremely useful in the production of my music magazine and it has
increased my confidence in using InDesign, such as Drop caps,
columns and pull quotes.

7. Conclusion
• In conclusion the use of the programs has helped sustainably with the
production of my music magazine. Photoshop for my front cover and
Indesign for my contents and double page spread. My final product
would have been unsatisfactory without the use of these programs. It
has really helped with my confidence in using the tools available.
