FD Proposed Addition Updating Request
This document is a proposed addition to the P26 FD RPTS Office of the State Auditor.vX.X (FD)
The purpose of this document is to outline the procedure for requesting changes to the monthly data
that is outlined in the FD document. This is for new field and table requests from the Office of the
State Auditor (OSA) to DHHS.
This does not include requests to fix a field that is reporting incorrect data (IE the forward facing
system shows a different value then the monthly data). This request also does not include reporting of
defects in the system (IE items that show the same in both the forward facing and monthly data but are
deemed to be calculated incorrectly by the system.)
Types of changes:
1) ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
IE: a waterfall of tabs to click on to get to the provided screenshot(s).
3) The request will include the time period it is for.
a. All requests are assumed to be for data moving forward. IE: that the new fields or tables will be
needed every month going forward.
i. If the request is for a one time item (IE: for a special audit or one time audit) then the request should
not be added to the monthly data files. Instead it should go through the normal data request path for
OSA to request data from DHHS.
b. The request will state if it is for one of the following time periods
i. Current State Fiscal Year
1. This will be require the new data to be re sent to OSA for all of the months of the current State
Fiscal Year
a. State Fiscal Year (SFY) is July 1, through June, 30th. ii. Next State Fiscal Year
1. This will mean that the new data will start with the next July data file
a. DHHS may start sending the field or table with remaining files for the current SFY, but would not
retro it back to the beginning of the current SFY.
i. This may be necessary to vet the new field or table before it needs to go live iii. Past State Fiscal
Years
1. This will be require the new data to be re sent to OSA for all of the months of data back to the
beginning of NCFAST
c. The request will state if it needs to be rushed.
i. Any request that does not state that it needs to be rushed will be assumed to not be a rush.
d. The request will state a date that

Kristen Stewart has maintained her relationships under wraps since the cheating scandal back in 2012.
She had cheated on her then boyfriend Robert Pattinson with her Snow White and the Hunstman

her. It had recently been reported that Kristen had parted ways with her girlfriend, Soko, who is a
French Musician. However, she has clearly moved on owing to the rumors of her prospective
relationship with Stella Maxwell, who has previously dated Miley Cyrus. Kristen was seen partying
and hanging out with Stella post Met Gala. The actress who shot to fame with the Twilight series

Identity In A Discourse Community
How might Porter, Rose, and, Swales think about an individual s identity within a larger community,
when entering new writing contexts, who has authority in a discourse community, and, how might
negotiation with authority affect an outsider? When we write an individual piece before we are aware
of discourse communities, we as writers have no rules because we are the writers and readers of our
own works. However, once we as individuals communicate within a community we share concepts
that we understand while learning what a communities limitations and rules are. Rose introduces the
concepts of identity and authority with individual limitations that we develop over the course of our
writing careers explained in Ridged Rules, Inflexible Plans, and the stifling of language: A Writer s
Block. Rose talks in grave detail on how we as writers have problems that inhibit us that are habitual
to our writing styles. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

The Madonna Or Virgin Mary
The Madonna or Virgin Mary was a popular theme for many Middle Age and Renaissance period
artists. I will be writing with a view of exploring the following pieces. The first is Madonna Enthroned
with Angels and Prophets. [Fig 1] This work was by a prominent artist named Cimabue, or Cenni di
Pepo, and was created in Florence, Italy. It is believed to have been done in the Middle Ages from
1280 1290 A.D. and the medium is tempura on wood. At dimensions of 12 7 X 7 4 it is quite large and
is currently on display in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, Italy. As is implied by its title, the subject
matter of this piece is the Virgin Mary and Christ. The second work is The Madonna of the Pinks [Fig
2] by Raphael. Raphael was also a prominent artist of his time, and has often been compared to
Leonardo and Michelangelo. This work of oil paint on yew, or fruitwood, was created during the High
Renaissance circa 1506 7 A.D. Also created in Florence, Italy, it is a small work, measuring just 27.9
cm X 22.4cm, currently housed as The National Gallery in London. The subject matter of this piece is
also that of the Virgin Mary and Christ. Both of these works are excellent examples of why their
artists are considered among the greatest of their respective time periods.
Madonna Enthroned with Angels and Prophets is a Byzantine style and reflects this in its highly
stylized form of depicting the characters. The figure of The Madonna especially holds to this style in
its elongated,

Nature Of Job And Tasks Undertaken
NATURE OF JOB AND TASKS UNDERTAKEN. Within John Lewis contact centres, there are many
different teams within the centre which all undertake different job roles. The main department within
the contact centre is Customer Service (JLP Careers, 2016), within this job role there are main job
responsibilities and tasks which must be undertaken and taken into consideration. With John Lewis
being one of the biggest retailers in the UK (John Lewis Partnership, 2016), they are known to have
outstanding customer service rates which reflects on the employees of the company, over the past 75
years. Customer service is the act of taking care of the customers needs by providing and delivering
professional, helpful, high quality service and assistance, before, during and after the customers
requirements are met (Study, 2016). The main job skills and responsibilities undertaken within a
customer service team are handling vast amounts of calls and being able to manage them in an
appropriate manner, determining the needs of the customer and being able to build rapport with all
customers. Customer service advisors must be able to provide the relevant information to customers,
however, when customer service advisors have to deal with complaints, they must be able to provide
methods which customers must be able to use to resolve the problem and most importantly, in the
most effective and appropriate way (Workable, 2015). INDUCTION, SUPPORT AND DEVELOP

Summary Of Beverly Tatum s Argument
Beverly Tatum s Argument Beverly Tatum s argument about the multiple identities and how many
people define their self is one of the most notorious articles I ve ever read. She s arguing how the areas
where a person is a member of the dominant or advantaged social group, the category is usually not
mentioned. That element of their identity is so taken for granted by them that it goes without
comment. For example she talks about when she asked her students of color to complete the sentence I
am .... how many of them mention their race, I am Black, Puerto Rican, and Korean American . But,
when she asked white students to complete the sentence they rarely bring up their race. Some may ask
why is it that the white students didn t bring up their race? That s because through out the world and
especially in America whites are the dominant group so they don t ... Show more content on

She uses her examples perfectly, and backed it up very well, they fall right into what she s trying to
inform us on. People often forget about and not talk about how we are dominant in some categories
but always remember how we are subordinates as you can see. The Dominant groups, by definition,
set the parameters within which the subordinates operate. The dominant group holds the power and
authority in society relative to the subordinates and determines how that power and authority may be
acceptably used. Miller points out that dominant groups generally do not like to be reminded of the
existence of inequality. Because rationalizations have been created to justify the social arrangements,
it is easy to believe everything is as it should be (Tatum 3). Subordinates groups often find their selves
trying to live above and go beyond the bar that the dominant group has set for us, and break the
stereotypical thoughts that they have of

Symbols In The Book Thief
Symbolic and Literal Meaning of Stealing The Book Thief is a story about a girl who had lost her
mother and brother and was sent to live with foster parents. Throughout her life of living with her
foster parents she had developed a characteristic of stealing. In the story thievery is a symbolic
meaning is by she had, had her life stolen from her in a way, it is also a literal meaning by she steals
things, materialistic objects. This is important to the story because she it is a big part of the story. She
becomes known to people as the book thief . In the story the author Markus Zusak uses thievery as a
symbolic meaning by first her mother taking her and her brother to live with foster parents. Then
while on the way to being dropped off her brother had died. In a way she kind of had her life stolen
from her. She was taken away from her friends and family as she knew it and put into a completely
different environment. ( Orwell. 19) The book thief and her ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Liesel stole books. Only for the fact that she wanted to learn how to read. Although she only stole five
books in the entirety of the story, those five books were all important because the it wasn t like she

book she stole as they were burying her brother, the second book was from a pile of burning books,
and the last three were from the mayor s library. Though the books were not the only things she had
stolen the books were the main point. (Zusak, 29) The book thief had struck for the first time the
beginning of an illustrious career . That is important because it is telling the readers that this will not
be the only time that Liesel will steal something, it gives a little insight and tells the reader that she
will be stealing in the future of the book. It also tells that this is her first time stealing a book by saying

How Does Irving Present The Theme Of Fate
Throughout the course of the novel, the theme of accepting fate and submitting oneself to God s will is
displayed through the faith of Owen Meany and the resolute tone in which he addresses this belief. In
chapter 7 of the novel, when Owen and John go on search to find out more about John s mother and
father, Owen is met by a person named Mr. McSwiney. Mr. McSwiney and Owen talk and when the
topic of John s father comes up, the belief of Owen accepting fate and submitting will to God arises.
Mr. McSwiney mentions to Owen that if [John s father] was looking for you, he would have found
you. GOD WILL TELL HIM WHO HIS FATHER IS, Owen said. (7.181 182) In this quote, Irving
depicts how fate and free will seem to exist in conflict with one ... Show more content on

McSwiney suggests that John s father has not revealed himself yet because he does not want to an
exercise of his free will. Owen suggests that fate will reveal John s father because Owen has a
complete belief in God, and according to Owen, God will reveal who John s father is. Once again,
Irving illustrates how faithful and submissive Owen Meany is that he believes his voice is from God
and that God will show who John s father really is. However, Irving shows us how fate and free will
seem to exist throughout the novel and at points these two concepts collide and seem to be in conflict.
This is shown between John Wheelwright and Owen Meany John being the symbol of free will, and
Owen being the symbol of believing in fate. John believes everything that has happened it is by
choice, while Owen believes everything is fated. Owen believes in fate so much that he knows he s
going to die on that date and that he is going to die a hero. However, if one sees the events in the
novel, Irving makes it look like Owen is making choices to fulfill the fated dream. Owen has seen that
he dies as a hero and wants to make sure he dies as a hero. Nevertheless, Owen claims it to be fated
but John says it s a dream and Owen, using his free will, only wants to fulfill his

The Budget Deficit In The United States
The U.S government is spend way too much money. One of the biggest problems the facing the U.S in
the increase in the budget deficit. The increase in the budget will affect future generation. There are
many solution to fixing the problem. On October 17 the United States debt was over $17 trillion
dollars, which is more than the United States annual economic output. The only time the GDP was that
high when we were in World War two.
The United States should bring our troops home from Afghanistan. With the Taliban nearly destroyed
and most of their leader dead or captured. The U.S army has won the war on terror. We should bring
our troop back home. We are spending 680 billion dollars to keep our troops over in Afghanistan.

Keurig Case Analysis
Strategic Issue: Throughout the case, it becomes clear that competition may be hindering your product
from leading the market. A limited amount of compact company resources and the constant
technological advancements may prevent the company from performing to the best of its capabilities.
In order to address this issue, we recommend that you investigate our recommendations to increase
market share by implementing the strategies that will be discussed in this memorandum.
Strategic Analysis:
Strengths: When it comes to the market for single serve coffee products, Keurig holds strong
recognition. Keurig has many popular branding partners such as: Green Mountain Coffee, Bigelow
Tea Company and Caribou Coffee. Other strengths unique to Keurig are the intellectual property and
intangible resources that you possess. Keurig s patents on the machines and their use hold great value.
The widely available nature of Keurig allows for its distribution throughout multiple channels. These
products have gained recognition in supermarkets, restaurants, convenience stores, offices, and hotels.
Weaknesses: Keurig s relatively low expenditures on advertising result in a low global recognition.
Green Mountain Coffee Roaster s inability to predict the K Cup demand and warranty issues also
should be considered as weaknesses. With the change in technology, consumers are always expecting
more and Keurig has to keep up with new demands as well as product innovation.

What Does Beatrice’s Language Show About Her Attitudes...
What does Beatrice s language show about her attitudes towards different men in the two different
scenes you have studied? 10th February 2012
Introduction
Much ado nothing is a romantic Shakespeare play about two couples of lovers. The play is set in
Messina, deep in the heart of Italy and is based in Elizabethan times. The lovers are namely; Claudio
and Hero, Bennedick and Beatrice. Claudio is a noble Florentine count from Florence. Bennedick is a
war hero from Padua. Both are honourable war heroes fighting for Don Pedro the prince of Aragon.
Beatrice is the niece of Leonato the Governor of Messina. At the beginning of the play Don Pedro and
his valiant fighters return from the wars to Messina. While at Messina Claudio immediately falls ...

However beneath all this fancy language we can derive that Bennedick was painted all over Beatrice s
thoughts and she cannot resist asking about his well being. When the messenger states he knows none
of that name, Hero her cousin says My cousin means Signor Bennedick of Padua this clearly shows
that not only is Bennedick and Beatrice s thoughts he is also a subject of conversation and discussion
between Beatrice and Hero.
The way Beatrice speaks seemingly spitefully about Bennedick shows us she is perhaps interested in
Bennedick and trying not to arouse the suspicion of the messenger and her uncle. By adding sarcastic
comments and insults where Bennedick name appears shows us she is trying hard not to bring out her
real feelings for him, the name Signor Mountanto is one of the names Beatrice has devised to insult
Bennedick however the fact that the name is so complex in meaning and the inside joke so well
thought out shows us she has really thought about this insult and it has not an insult off the top of her
head. Beatrice is more devious and careful about relationships than Claudio who seems rather
desperate to get with Hero and throw himself headfirst into a relationship that he perhaps knows
nothing about. This suggests perhaps she has more experience in love and relationships and has also
experienced disappointment and is afraid of it.
STEP 3
When Bennedick and Beatrice meet they immediately engage in a fierce verbal battle,

This article investigated some of the fundamental research issues inside of the field of sentiment

open difficulties. Numerous commercial sentiment analysis systems still utilize oversimplified

Tyr Research Paper
The God of Law and War
The god Tir, also known as Tiw, Tyr, Tiwaz and Mars is one that influenced many past cultures, but
not very well known today. In Norse mythology, Tyr was once a monotheistic god, worshiped as the
god of war, justice, law, and order. Some early Germanic peoples connected Tyr with Mars, the
Roman god of war. One influence is the third day of the week, known as dies Martis and Mars Day in
Latin, and also has become known as Tyrsdagr to the Norwegians and in the English dictionary as
Tuesday. The name Tyr is pronounced like the English word tier. This god is better known for war, but

Lack Of Rule Of Law Enforcement Essay
There is systemic corruption in Latin America. Corruption is rooted in the psyche of the South
American population, which affects the length of their democratic processes, making it easier and
shorter to bribe rather than commit to broken processes. Moreover, corruption affects the highest
levels of government. In order to face this problem, Latin America has made significant progress in
combating poverty and inequality. The economic development of states in Latin America allows them
to benefit from the international trade but it is not enough to maintain economic stability within states.
Deviant globalization creates an opportunity for transnational criminal organizations to benefit from
different activities like drug trafficking, human trafficking. The Western Hemisphere presents different
problems unlike other regions of the world. Mainly Latin America is affected by problems of
corruption and drug trafficking. Weak states are the biggest challenge in Western Hemisphere, because
corruption in Latin America is one of the factor that creates lack of rule of law. In addition, a weak
economy and absence of adequate law enforcement creates a safe haven for transnational criminal
organization. Moreover, the region presents serious problems in the quality of democracy regarding
human rights, as well as illegal immigration. Globalization both affects weak states positively and
negatively. To respond to this challenge, states must cooperate to economically

Attending college seems to bring more problems than rewards. Sara Goldrick Rab notes how society
has changed over the years. She claims that a high school education isn t enough to prepare people for
the current job market (Goldrick Rab and Andrew). If Tuition was removed or reduced to an amount
that everyone could afford, then the number of people attending colleges would increase.
Struggling to meet tuition is hard enough, yet a student still has other matters to address to ensure their
success. For a student to cover their tuition and student loans, they need to find a job. However,
students can t simply offer up all of their funds to attend college. They need to conserve money in
order to cover living expenses. Fran Cubberley, the vice president for enrollment management at
Delaware County Community College, points out that the cost of attending college exceeds the cost of
tuition (Cubberley 22). As a result, students are stuck with a handful of difficult decisions to cover the
additional costs. One choice that a student makes is changing their working status to full time.
Working more hours affects a student s success in completing their education. If students work on a
regular basis and attend school, they re going to have less available time to study. In addition, students
will have less personal time. Fran Cubberley suggests that even if community colleges were free,
students may not give up working while attending school. Although,

Another aspect of rational choice theory is the amount of pleasure that is received form a crime.
Receiving pleasure from a crime can be a sexual gratification, monetary rewards that make one happy,

involved in the crime, then the offender is more likely to keep committing a crime whereas if someone
commits a crime and there was little to no pleasure involved in it, they will be less likely to keep

The Pros And Cons Of Genetic Editing And Human Cloning
The humanity of the human future is in our hands. Humans as a species have innovated the world.

groundbreaking achievements in these field have made things possible, which people thousands of

technologies, in neuroscience and psychopharmacology, and in the development of artificial organs
and computer chip implants for human brains, we now recognize new uses for biomedical power that

DRUG CLASS AND MECHANISM: Labetalol is a drug that is used for treating high blood pressure.
Nerves from the adrenergic nervous system travel from the spinal cord to arteries where they release
norepinephrine. Norepinephrine attaches to adrenergic receptors on arteries and causes the arteries to
contract, narrowing the arteries, and increasing blood pressure. Labetalol blocks receptors of the
adrenergic nervous system. When labetalol attaches to and blocks the receptors, arteries expand,
resulting in a fall in blood pressure. GENERIC AVAILABLE: Yes PRESCRIPTION: Yes

Persuasive Essay On Legalize Marijuana
Legalize Marijuana Marijuana is a drug that is spreading all around the world and is now proven to be
the most beneficial drug out there. More than 25 million Americans annually use it each year. If the
country legalized it then everyone would have more jobs available to go around such as harvesters,
dispensary clerks, distributors, or croppers. Thus, the unemployment rate is lowered and America
could make more money if they taxed it (Jack). Not only could they tax it but also save more money
because they would not have to lock up those people getting arrested every year. That way America
could lower the country s debt and then there is a lot less people in prisons. It would save the country
billions of dollars each year and make billions more each year. This country needs to tax anything they
can because taxing marijuana would bring in so much more revenue and America could also trade
with other countries. Marijuana has also proved to help cure diseases such as glaucoma, Alzheimer s,
and other cancer diseases. It is proven that it can help alleviate pain, regain their appetite, help in
slowing down tumor growth, help with dizziness, and help a patient go to sleep. THC, which is the
main ingredient in marijuana, helps a cancer patient to gain back their sense of smell and taste so that
person can regain their appetite. Medical Marijuana (oil) helps the dizziness by stopping their

Renewable Energy Sources For Fossil Fuels
We live in a world where we have to rely on resources such as fossil fuels in order to provide us
energy. Almost everything we use nowadays consumes power in some form, and in tandem we rely on
energy. Fossil fuels have become the go to resource for providing power. Fossil fuels include natural
resources such as coal, petroleum, and natural gas. These fossil fuels fall under the non renewable
category because they take thousands of years in order to form naturally and cannot be replaced as fast
as they are being consumed. Another non renewable energy source is nuclear fuel, which is primarily
obtained through the mining and refining of uranium ore. But how could we have used energy in the
past without the use of fossil fuels? The answer is ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
While fossil fuels are widely used there is still the fear that we will eventually run out of fossil fuels to
power our civilizations. Without these fuels we could not be able to power everything that needs
power. In addition, the use of fossil fuels raises serious environmental concerns. The burning of fossil
fuels produces around 21.3 gigatonnes of carbon dioxide per year and natural processes can only
absorb about half that amount. Because nature can t absorb every bit of carbon dioxide being released
there is a net increase in the amount of atmospheric carbon dioxide. This is dangerous because carbon
dioxide is a greenhouse gas. Greenhouse gases increase the temperature of the Earth by trapping heat
inside our atmosphere. This keeps the temperature higher than if we were only being heated directly
by the sun. Because the Earth is hotter this speeds up global warming, which will cause problems.
On the other hand there is renewable energy. Renewable energy is defined as any naturally occurring,
theoretically inexhaustible source of energy such as biomass, solar, wind, tidal, wave, and
hydroelectric power, that is not derived from fossil or nuclear fuel. Renewable energy contributes
around 14% of global generation of energy. Renewable energy is important and useful because some
sources are clean and both reusable, but there are many different sources for

A Formal Testing Strategy Is Crucial For Achieving Success...
A formal testing strategy is crucial for achieving success with mobile app testing. The information
above will definitely guide you in understanding the key focus points of this strategy, but here s a
closer look at the steps you should take. Narrow down the devices the app will use Mobile devices
present the most obvious challenge to mobile testing. There are countless devices out there consumers
could use to access your app and ensuring your app works on all of them can be difficult. Even though
your app might run on a single platform (such as iOS or Android), the number of devices will still be
high for guaranteeing specific device testing. This is especially the case with Android operating
systems. Remember that there are different versions of an operating system and you should decide
which operating system versions the app is supposed to work on. In order to handle the device
challenge, you can consider using one of the three strategies: Only test using real devices Only test
using emulated devices Using a combination of the above As we ve mentioned before, you want the
emphasis to be on real devices and manual testing. It would be a good idea to focus first on some of
the main devices in your category. For example, find out the most sold and used mobile devices that
use Android, check which operating system version is currently popular and begin testing. For the
devices, which are not as popular, you can use emulated devices as the main testing method.

Dear Sir or Madam
I am writing this letter in order to turn your attention to two different sites on the Isle of Wight. I have
been contracted by DEFRA (Department for Environment, Food Rural Affairs) to assess the current
state of the southern coast of the island. The Isle of Wight is always susceptible to landslides and
coastal erosion. Hence investigations need to be done regularly in order to minimise the negative
impacts of these events. The sites I will be talking about include:
1. Alum Bay
2. Hanover Point
Alum Bay
Alum Bay is situated on the west coast of the Isle of Wight within close proximity with the Needles
(rock formation). The bay is famous for its multi coloured sand cliffs, which make it a perfect tourist
attraction as well as a point of interest for geologists. There is a series of vertically bedded soft sand
and clays, which are weak rocks due to being geologically very recent. The vertical beds are formed
over time due to tectonic plates pushing into each other (in this case the African plate pushing into the
Eurasian plate). The rock bed started off horizontally and due to plate pressure, the distance between
one side of the crust to the other was shortened and hence a vertical bed was formed in the middle.
Just through searching for Alum Bay on Bing maps it is possible to spot problems straightaway. There

Persuasive Essay On Vegetarianism
Being vegetarian or vegan is not only beneficial to the animals that are being slaughtered but it also
beneficial to the earth and helps to reduce global warming. According to Wikipedia, there are more
than seven billion people and out of those seven billion people only three hundred and seventy five
million people are said to be vegetarian or vegan. This mass slaughter of animals and livestock is also
one of the leading causes of global warming. People may think that the earth is slowly dying but that
is not the case anymore as global warming has caught up with us. According to NASA, there are
406.94 parts per million of carbon di oxide in the atmosphere the highest it has ever been in 650000
years. The global temperature has risen by 1.7 °F and sixteen out of the seventeen warmest years on
earth have been recorded since 2001. The arctic ice minimum has decreased by 13.2% per decade and
in 2012 arctic summer sea ice shrank to the lowest extent on record. The global sea level has also
grown by 3.4 millimeters per year and the global average sea level has risen nearly 178mm over the
past 100 years. These statistics show you how quickly global warming and climate change are having
an effect on earth and who knows what the stats will be in another 50 to 100 years the earth may
become uninhabitable and humans will be the sole reason for this.
The earth has been dying slowly under our noses for many generations and we are feeling the effect of
this now and it will only get worse. The earth has been dying ever since we had the industrial

concerns about the growing drug abuse problem throughout the world, specifically the abuse of opium
in many of the nations of Asia. This concern led to meetings of several nations whose mission was to
restrict narcotics to medical use [2]. During the 1920 s many mexican immigrants fled to the United

Taking a Look at Surrogate Mothers
Surrogacy is a controversial issue nowadays. Surrogacy allows a woman to give the gift of parenthood
to a couple who would otherwise not have been able to experience it, either due to infertility or
inability to adopt a child. In some cases, the surrogate can obtain monetary compensation for her
services. According to Anderson (1990), A commercial surrogate mother is someone who is paid
money to bear a child for other people and to terminate her parental rights, to lead to a situation that
the others may raise the child as exclusively their own.
In the aspect of the intended parents, there are reasons for people who need the surrogacy service.
Firstly, Intended mothers can have a huge variety of health issues that make pregnancy impossible or
undesirable. For instance, some women s womb cannot support a fetus that they may miscarry for
many times that cannot get pregnant successfully. Secondly, there are also women that have biological
problems which affect their ability to reproduce. The reproductive system is complex and can cause
various ailments which make pregnancy impossible. Thirdly, some women may turn to surrogate
mothers because of severe health problems. While the woman may be healthy enough to be an
effective mother, her body may be unable to survive pregnancy. For example, some women would
choose to use a surrogate mother because they have heart problems which may cause the mother to be
unable to survive in a traditional child birth. There are also women that

Computer Disadvantages
When you decide that it is time to upgrade to a good computer, you have to make a big decision.
There are 2 things that it comes down to and those are that you buy a computer brand new, or if you
decide to build your own unique PC. Here are some things to look out for before you make your final
decision. We will start with some of the risks with building a computer. Obviously you have to risk
your time. I advise that you spend quite a while to investigate which parts of the computer will be
budget friendly and efficient. You will also have to wait for the parts that you ordered to ship in.
Although it only takes about 45min 1hr to build the computer. It can be a lengthy wait as opposed to
just purchasing a PC. If you are a person who doesn t have much time to invest into a project like this,
then I think buying a computer would be a smart route for you. However, if time isn t an issue, then
building your own PC can be a fun, price beneficial project for you. Another risk that comes with
building your own PC is that, you do not have always have a warranty if a computer part fails. Most
products that you buy in which are pre assembled tend to have warranties that take away the risk of
improper use or if something stops working. Also, while you are building the PC, it isn t impossible to
mess up and break something small. This is again where buying a PC has an advantage that is because

tissue and the remaining of endocrine. In exocrine glands, secretions flow through ducts into a body
cavity, such as the nasal passage or urinary tract, rather than directly into the circulation of the
bloodstream, which is a characteristic of the endocrine pancreas.
The exocrine pancreas is split into two major substituents, the acini and the duct system, each
comprised of intralobular and interlobular components.
The acinar cells secrete digestive enzymes, which are also synthesized here. The name of these
enzyme secreting units comes from ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
These epithelial cells protrude short microvilli from their surface, which contain an abundance of
secretory granules, secreting fluids, which make up the majority of pancreatic juices. Epithelial cells
found in the main pancreatic duct are analogous in structure to those of the interlobular ducts. Both
sections of the duct system have thick, collagenous walls. Leakage prevention of the duct system is
carried out by the Zonula Occludens intercellular tight junctions between the duct and acinar cells.
The pancreatic duct, also known as the duct of Wirsung, connects the pancreas to the bile duct. Hence,
allowing the pancreatic juices to be transported to the gall bladder to fuse with bile, aiding in digestion
and neutralization of gastric acids.
In the case of the exocrine glands, secretions consist of aqueous mixtures. Enzyme secretion in the
pancreas is stimulated by the vagus and a hormone called pancreozymin, which is formed when it is
exposed to proteoses or peptones. The pancreas releases 1000 to 1500 ml of pancreatic juice into the
pancreatic duct each day. Secretions of the pancreas consists of two principal constituents, an alkaline
fluid and enzymes such as lipase, protease and α amylase that are necessary for digestion of fats,
proteins and carbohydrates in vertebrates respectively. Other enzymes present include trypsin,
chymotrypsin and colipase.
The pancreas secretes most of these enzymes as inactive precursors

  • 4. Identity In A Discourse Community How might Porter, Rose, and, Swales think about an individual s identity within a larger community, when entering new writing contexts, who has authority in a discourse community, and, how might negotiation with authority affect an outsider? When we write an individual piece before we are aware of discourse communities, we as writers have no rules because we are the writers and readers of our own works. However, once we as individuals communicate within a community we share concepts that we understand while learning what a communities limitations and rules are. Rose introduces the concepts of identity and authority with individual limitations that we develop over the course of our writing careers explained in Ridged Rules, Inflexible Plans, and the stifling of language: A Writer s Block. Rose talks in grave detail on how we as writers have problems that inhibit us that are habitual to our writing styles. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... • 5. The Madonna Or Virgin Mary The Madonna or Virgin Mary was a popular theme for many Middle Age and Renaissance period artists. I will be writing with a view of exploring the following pieces. The first is Madonna Enthroned with Angels and Prophets. [Fig 1] This work was by a prominent artist named Cimabue, or Cenni di Pepo, and was created in Florence, Italy. It is believed to have been done in the Middle Ages from 1280 1290 A.D. and the medium is tempura on wood. At dimensions of 12 7 X 7 4 it is quite large and is currently on display in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, Italy. As is implied by its title, the subject matter of this piece is the Virgin Mary and Christ. The second work is The Madonna of the Pinks [Fig 2] by Raphael. Raphael was also a prominent artist of his time, and has often been compared to Leonardo and Michelangelo. This work of oil paint on yew, or fruitwood, was created during the High Renaissance circa 1506 7 A.D. Also created in Florence, Italy, it is a small work, measuring just 27.9 cm X 22.4cm, currently housed as The National Gallery in London. The subject matter of this piece is also that of the Virgin Mary and Christ. Both of these works are excellent examples of why their artists are considered among the greatest of their respective time periods. Madonna Enthroned with Angels and Prophets is a Byzantine style and reflects this in its highly stylized form of depicting the characters. The figure of The Madonna especially holds to this style in its elongated, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Summary Of Beverly Tatum s Argument Beverly Tatum s Argument Beverly Tatum s argument about the multiple identities and how many people define their self is one of the most notorious articles I ve ever read. She s arguing how the areas where a person is a member of the dominant or advantaged social group, the category is usually not mentioned. That element of their identity is so taken for granted by them that it goes without comment. For example she talks about when she asked her students of color to complete the sentence I am .... how many of them mention their race, I am Black, Puerto Rican, and Korean American . But, when she asked white students to complete the sentence they rarely bring up their race. Some may ask why is it that the white students didn t bring up their race? She uses her examples perfectly, and backed it up very well, they fall right into what she s trying to inform us on. People often forget about and not talk about how we are dominant in some categories but always remember how we are subordinates as you can see. The Dominant groups, by definition, set the parameters within which the subordinates operate. The dominant group holds the power and authority in society relative to the subordinates and determines how that power and authority may be acceptably used. Miller points out that dominant groups generally do not like to be reminded of the existence of inequality. Because rationalizations have been created to justify the social arrangements, it is easy to believe everything is as it should be (Tatum 3). Subordinates groups often find their selves trying to live above and go beyond the bar that the dominant group has set for us, and break the stereotypical thoughts that they have of ... How Does Irving Present The Theme Of Fate Throughout the course of the novel, the theme of accepting fate and submitting oneself to God s will is displayed through the faith of Owen Meany and the resolute tone in which he addresses this belief. In chapter 7 of the novel, when Owen and John go on search to find out more about John s mother and father, Owen is met by a person named Mr. McSwiney. Mr. McSwiney and Owen talk and when the topic of John s father comes up, the belief of Owen accepting fate and submitting will to God arises. Mr. McSwiney mentions to Owen that if [John s father] was looking for you, he would have found you. GOD WILL TELL HIM WHO HIS FATHER IS, Owen said. McSwiney suggests that John s father has not revealed himself yet because he does not want to an exercise of his free will. Owen suggests that fate will reveal John s father because Owen has a complete belief in God, and according to Owen, God will reveal who John s father is. Once again, Irving illustrates how faithful and submissive Owen Meany is that he believes his voice is from God and that God will show who John s father really is. However, Irving shows us how fate and free will seem to exist throughout the novel and at points these two concepts collide and seem to be in conflict. This is shown between John Wheelwright and Owen Meany John being the symbol of free will, and Owen being the symbol of believing in fate. John believes everything that has happened it is by choice, while Owen believes everything is fated. Owen believes in fate so much that he knows he s going to die on that date and that he is going to die a hero. However, if one sees the events in the novel, Irving makes it look like Owen is making choices to fulfill the fated dream. Owen has seen that he dies as a hero and wants to make sure he dies as a hero. Nevertheless, Owen claims it to be fated but John says it s a dream and Owen, using his free will, only wants to fulfill his ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

A limited amount of compact company resources and the constant technological advancements may prevent the company from performing to the best of its capabilities. In order to address this issue, we recommend that you investigate our recommendations to increase market share by implementing the strategies that will be discussed in this memorandum. Keurig has many popular branding partners such as: Green Mountain Coffee, Bigelow Tea Company and Caribou Coffee. The play is set in Messina, deep in the heart of Italy and is based in Elizabethan times. The lovers are namely; Claudio and Hero, Bennedick and Beatrice. Claudio is a noble Florentine count from Florence. Bennedick is a war hero from Padua. Both are honourable war heroes fighting for Don Pedro the prince of Aragon. Beatrice is the niece of Leonato the Governor of Messina. At the beginning of the play Don Pedro and his valiant fighters return from the wars to Messina. However beneath all this fancy language we can derive that Bennedick was painted all over Beatrice s thoughts and she cannot resist asking about his well being. When the messenger states he knows none of that name, Hero her cousin says My cousin means Signor Bennedick of Padua this clearly shows that not only is Bennedick and Beatrice s thoughts he is also a subject of conversation and discussion between Beatrice and Hero. The way Beatrice speaks seemingly spitefully about Bennedick shows us she is perhaps interested in Bennedick and trying not to arouse the suspicion of the messenger and her uncle. By adding sarcastic comments and insults where Bennedick name appears shows us she is trying hard not to bring out her real feelings for him, the name Signor Mountanto is one of the names Beatrice has devised to insult Bennedick however the fact that the name is so complex in meaning and the inside joke so well thought out shows us she has really thought about this insult and it has not an insult off the top of her head. Beatrice is more devious and careful about relationships than Claudio who seems rather desperate to get with Hero and throw himself headfirst into a relationship that he perhaps knows nothing about. This suggests perhaps she has more experience in love and relationships and has also experienced disappointment and is afraid of it. STEP 3 When Bennedick and Beatrice meet they immediately engage in a fierce verbal battle, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

While fossil fuels are widely used there is still the fear that we will eventually run out of fossil fuels to power our civilizations. Without these fuels we could not be able to power everything that needs power. In addition, the use of fossil fuels raises serious environmental concerns. The burning of fossil fuels produces around 21.3 gigatonnes of carbon dioxide per year and natural processes can only absorb about half that amount. Because nature can t absorb every bit of carbon dioxide being released there is a net increase in the amount of atmospheric carbon dioxide. This is dangerous because carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas. Greenhouse gases increase the temperature of the Earth by trapping heat inside our atmosphere. This keeps the temperature higher than if we were only being heated directly by the sun. Because the Earth is hotter this speeds up global warming, which will cause problems. Surrogacy allows a woman to give the gift of parenthood to a couple who would otherwise not have been able to experience it, either due to infertility or inability to adopt a child. In some cases, the surrogate can obtain monetary compensation for her services. According to Anderson (1990), A commercial surrogate mother is someone who is paid money to bear a child for other people and to terminate her parental rights, to lead to a situation that the others may raise the child as exclusively their own. In the aspect of the intended parents, there are reasons for people who need the surrogacy service. • 40. Computer Disadvantages When you decide that it is time to upgrade to a good computer, you have to make a big decision. There are 2 things that it comes down to and those are that you buy a computer brand new, or if you decide to build your own unique PC. Here are some things to look out for before you make your final decision. We will start with some of the risks with building a computer. Obviously you have to risk your time. I advise that you spend quite a while to investigate which parts of the computer will be budget friendly and efficient. You will also have to wait for the parts that you ordered to ship in. Although it only takes about 45min 1hr to build the computer. It can be a lengthy wait as opposed to just purchasing a PC. If you are a person who doesn t have much time to invest into a project like this, then I think buying a computer would be a smart route for you. However, if time isn t an issue, then building your own PC can be a fun, price beneficial project for you. Another risk that comes with building your own PC is that, you do not have always have a warranty if a computer part fails. Most products that you buy in which are pre assembled tend to have warranties that take away the risk of improper use or if something stops working. Also, while you are building the PC, it isn t impossible to mess up and break something small. This is again where buying a PC has an advantage that is because professionals are handling the product before you get it. If you were to break something in ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 41. The Human Pancreas Is An Organ Of Both Endocrine And Exocrine The human pancreas is an organ of both endocrine and exocrine function in regulating blood sugars and aiding in digestion respectively. About 95 percent of the human pancreas is made of exocrine tissue and the remaining of endocrine. In exocrine glands, secretions flow through ducts into a body cavity, such as the nasal passage or urinary tract, rather than directly into the circulation of the bloodstream, which is a characteristic of the endocrine pancreas. The exocrine pancreas is split into two major substituents, the acini and the duct system, each comprised of intralobular and interlobular components. The acinar cells secrete digestive enzymes, which are also synthesized here. The name of these enzyme secreting units comes from ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... These epithelial cells protrude short microvilli from their surface, which contain an abundance of secretory granules, secreting fluids, which make up the majority of pancreatic juices. Epithelial cells found in the main pancreatic duct are analogous in structure to those of the interlobular ducts. Both sections of the duct system have thick, collagenous walls. Leakage prevention of the duct system is carried out by the Zonula Occludens intercellular tight junctions between the duct and acinar cells. The pancreatic duct, also known as the duct of Wirsung, connects the pancreas to the bile duct. Hence, allowing the pancreatic juices to be transported to the gall bladder to fuse with bile, aiding in digestion and neutralization of gastric acids. In the case of the exocrine glands, secretions consist of aqueous mixtures. Enzyme secretion in the pancreas is stimulated by the vagus and a hormone called pancreozymin, which is formed when it is exposed to proteoses or peptones. The pancreas releases 1000 to 1500 ml of pancreatic juice into the pancreatic duct each day. Secretions of the pancreas consists of two principal constituents, an alkaline fluid and enzymes such as lipase, protease and α amylase that are necessary for digestion of fats, proteins and carbohydrates in vertebrates respectively. Other enzymes present include trypsin, chymotrypsin and colipase. The pancreas secretes most of these enzymes as inactive precursors ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
