realm of the waverers. We advertised for Virgil Travel to visit the outside of the

of an opportunity to be creative and have fun with the project. The target audience for
our ad are sports fans, particularly those who enjoy attending the events in person.
Characters we chose to highlight in our commercial were Moses, Celestine V, and
Charon. Moses is included to advertise to those living in Limbo and to offer

a race. Props that we used included a book, a scythe, a cross, a banner, and plastic

death of the souls waiting to cross. The banner was used as a sign at the entrance of
the gates of hell to set the location. The plastic insects were thrown at the

chose to begin our commercial at the stairs outside of school to symbolize the

Most people think Silverwater is mostly a commercial area, but it s not. The

runaways describes a young female suffers from her spousal relationship. The abusive
husband shatters the family apart leaving an unstable life for the mother and kids.
Through her adventure abscond from her husband, she regains hopes and dream;
hope: a place to settle, dream: where she could be loved again. The author Karen

symbols to reveal her opinion that if we have hope we can achieve our dreams.
Brennan uses symbols to show how even though we can be in bad situations; there

the meaning of the story Runaways . In the introduction of the story, Brennan
describes Lou s appearance that hides the fact that she is a mother of four kids I
felt people looking at my torn blue jeans and my plaid shirt and thinking that I was
runaway. I was runaway. I was very thin. No one would believe I have four children
waiting for me in the car (499). The Torn blue jeans, Plaid shirt, and Thin symbols
that interpret the conditions and suffering that she is going through. We can
understand how badly she is tortured from her abusive husband. She became runaway
