Sartre Essay
Crafting an essay on the subject of Sartre requires a delicate balance of intellectual engagement
and nuanced exploration. Jean-Paul Sartre, a prominent figure in existentialist philosophy,
presents a complex web of ideas that demand careful unraveling and thoughtful analysis. To
delve into Sartre's existentialist theories is to navigate through intricate philosophical concepts
such as existential freedom, bad faith, and the nature of consciousness.
The challenge lies not only in understanding these concepts but in articulating a coherent and
compelling narrative that synthesizes Sartre's ideas into a unified essay. Sartre's writings, often
dense and layered, demand a deep dive into existential philosophy and the historical context that
shaped his thoughts. Additionally, grappling with the philosophical jargon and abstract nature of
his work can be intellectually demanding, requiring a writer to strike a balance between
accessibility and depth.
Moreover, writing a Sartre essay involves more than just summarizing his ideas; it requires the
ability to critically engage with his philosophy, offering insights, critiques, and perhaps even
personal reflections. The essayist must navigate the fine line between explicating Sartre's theories
and presenting an original interpretation, making the task both intellectually demanding and
creatively challenging.
In the end, a well-crafted Sartre essay should not merely regurgitate his ideas but rather
illuminate the significance and relevance of his existentialist philosophy in contemporary
discourse. It demands a synthesis of scholarly research, critical thinking, and eloquent
expression—a task that requires dedication and a profound understanding of the subject matter.

Relationship Between Belstaff And Gender
Belstaff and Gender
If Belstaff was a person, it would definitely be an intrepid, tough and stylish man,
who drinks the best beer and loves classic motos and cars. There are several reasons
why Belstaff is perceived as a male brand. The first one is that the brand is
intimately related to the moto world, and motorbikes have always been a boy toy.
Less than 10% of motorbike buyers are women (CBS news, 2012).
It is possible to see signs of moto lifestyles everywhere around Belstaff. In its history

The LaWS uses a series of concentrated light beams in order to target, blind, and
destroy missiles, UAVs, and small watercraft. Unlike older, conventional, weapons
the LaWS is renowned for it s concentrated area of effect which will greatly reduce
the amount of collateral damage seen on the battlefield, saving countless lives.
With a LaWS augment the Zumwalt class destroyer will save millions, if not
billions of dollars through its significantly lower cost to operate compared to
traditional missiles. A missile needs to be paid for to build, transport, arm, and
maintained while the LaWS only requires the electrical energy to fire for a few
seconds to complete the same task as a missile. The LaWS also holds a variety of
modes to fill almost any task at hand. At a low power setting the laser can be used
to warn and ward off enemy or civilian ships with a beam powerful enough to blind
sailors or malcontents to cease their current actions and turn about. With slightly
higher amounts of power, the LaWS can fry electronics and disable targeting,
navigation, and video systems on board enemy crafts or missiles. On it s highest
setting the LaWS is capable of downing helicopters and remotely piloted aircraft in a
matter of seconds by burning through their outer plating and destroying engines or
The Pros And Cons Of African Americans In Reconstruction
The Civil War ended in 1865 and while the thirteenth amendment was being passed
lots of African Americans faced problems. With the death of Abraham Lincoln,
Andrew Johnson became president and while he worked with Lincoln he lacked
Lincoln s critical thinking and thought that African Americans shouldn t be
involved in reconstruction. The definition of freedom is the power or right one
has to speak and think as one wants without restraint. Although African Americans
were still being treated like vermin by whites and struggled economically they
were politically free. In the year 1866, the Civil rights act was passed and it
allowed African Americans to own property and be treated equally in court. The
only problem with that was the south refused to obey the laws. Once Johnson
pulled all the men out of the south who were suppose to protect the rights of
African Americans everything fell apart. Henry Adams was traveling and six
miles south of town he was beaten by four white men with sticks. The men
threatened to kill every Negro that claimed he did not belong to anyone. On his way
to Shreveport, he noticed twelve colored men and women beat, shot and hung (
doc D). So, while blacks were free many people in the South believed the there way
of life was better and continued to treat African Americans poorly. It got to the point
where President Johnson came up with new rules for African Americans that they
would abide by. These new rules were called the Black Codes (C). The Black
Australian History And The Canadian Government
In our society, people with different cultures, backgrounds, and religions were
considered unequal. One of the many people that were treated unequally in Canadian
History were the Aboriginals. Before the war began, Aboriginals were not treated
fairly by the Canadian government. Aboriginals struggled to get a permanent job
therefore clearly displaying Aboriginals struggling to get the resources they need in
order to survive. Canadas leader ignored this situation and continued to discriminate
Aboriginals (Marshall 2). Several times, Aboriginals were being used by their own
country to do their dirty jobs. The Canadian government did not want to risk true
Canadian lives, so they used the Aboriginals. By the 1990 s, one would think that the
government would come to their senses and realize that the Aboriginals are just like
any other human being. However, this was not the case because the Canadian
Government tried stealing and taking Aboriginal belongings for their own needs later
on. Ultimately, the Aboriginal people were mainly treated unequally by the
Government in the Great War, The Manhattan Project, and the Oka Crisis. Aboriginal
citizens in the Great War were more than willing to enlist and volunteer however, they
were not permitted to do so by the Canadian Government (Armstrong et al.1).
Aboriginals hoped that one day, their voices would be heard and that they would get
the rights that they deserve. Furthermore, in 1915, the Aboriginals thought the

Wuoyi Opium History
On December 12, 1773 Samuel Adams led a group of 116 men who paddled small
boats out into the darkness of the Boston Harbor. They were from all walks of life
and several different ethnic groups known as the Sons of Liberty. They dressed up
like the local Narragansett Indians, boarded three different ships and dumped 340
chests of teainto the frigid water of the Boston Harbor. It was approximately 92,000
pounds of tea which equal over $1,000,000 in dollars. There was so much tea
dumped in the harbor they say it smelled bad for many days. Not one person was
hurt and there was minimal property damage to the ships. The ships were owned by
Americans companies, but the cargo was owned by the British government. The tea

Britain s ever demanding love of the hot brew was partially responsible for the
opium problem. By 1838 the Emperor Tao Kuang decided to enforce a ban on
opium that was initiated 50 years earlier. Warehouses were burned and a fleet of
ships waiting for unloading offshore where burned and sunk. The chests of opium
were thrown into the bay. The 1st opium war was between1839 1842.The Chinese
were no match for the British and their advanced warfare. In 1842 the Chinese sign

of the opium that was dumped in the bay and relinquish the island of Hong Kong.
The island of Hong Kong became a British territory and they also had to open
additional ports for trade. Fourteen years later the second war broke out (1856

year in 1879. The Chinese were shipping 100,000,000 pounds of tea per year back to
England. (2002, Hanes, T Sanello, F) During this time the Chinese were
experimenting with growing poppies and cultivating their own crops. By the turn of
century opium trade between Britain and China dropped considerably. By 1906 the
new Emperor called for prohibition and gradual eliminating opium

The Universities Of Higher Education
The U.S institutions of higher education around the world have many different and
unique ways of educating their students. The students inside these classrooms often
apply techniques used by peers to better help their understanding of the world around
them. Students should ultimately be more enlightened when they finish at a college
or universitythen when they started. These skills that they learn at higher education
places should leave these people educated to their fullest potential when they
leave, and should leave them with certain skills and abilities that all educated
people should posses. Professors, along with universities, should be able to
persuade or change a student s core beliefs by intriguingly adding insight to ones
life and ultimately making them more educated. There are certain skills and
abilities that every educated person should posses after college. The first attribute,
would be listening and hearing what others have to say on certain subjects, which
seems simple but is a crucial step. Educated people work hard to hear what others
have to say. If a person hears what you have to say, and gives you specific feedback
that you may not have otherwise heard, had you not been open to listening, then this
in part allows you to become more educated. If a person feels like others are
listening to him/her it will give that person a sense that what she/he is saying is
noteworthy, which will encourage the person to continue to talk to others and

The Effect of the Proper Integration of Educational Technology on the Study Skills of
Primary and Secondary Students
Technology is highly prevalent and accessible now more than ever, so much so that
the present is called the Age of Information by many. However, a significant portion
of schools around the world still rely on the old style lecture method, detract of the
utilization of many modern technological advancements. A citing of the National
Center for Educational Statistics by Carver revealed that 97% of American
classrooms had at least one computer at hand. However, a mere 40% of teachers
actually used their computers in class (110). This is especially notable because of the
benefits that schools and institutions could gain for their students should they
implement the use of information and communication technology specifically
designed for education in classrooms. Students study skills in reading, math, and
science have been shown to significantly improve due to the proper integration of
educational technology in primary and secondary schools.
According to Oxford University s online dictionary, study skills are strategies, usually
learned, to help in one s education. These are a highly diverse set of skills that
include reading, critical thinking, and research among others.
Educational technology is the application of technology in order to aid learning and

Life And Work Of Clara Barton
The three articles I am using as support for my research paper are Clara Barton:
Teacher, Nurse, Civil War Heroine, Founder of the American Red Cross written by
Gerald Evans, The Life and Work of Clara Barton written by Ida Husted Harper, and
The Role of Gender, Phrenology, Discrimination and Nervous Prostration in Clara
Bartons Career written by Allen Spiegel. All of these articles present relevant
information about the inspirations and challenges Clara Barton experienced through
her work in the medical field, and her overall influence and inspiration she had on
others through her founding of the American Red Cross.
Clara Barton had many different sources of inspiration for her career in nursing.
Barton was a person of strong values since her youngest years, and her family had a
huge impact on all of her choices and ways of thinking. Evans writes about a
serious incident in Barton s life that occurred when she was 11 years old that
nobody knew would have such a huge impact on her career goals. Barton s brother
suffered a major head injury, and through the whole healing process she learned
from the doctor and his staff on how to be the best and most appropriate nurse for
her brother. The whole two years of her brother s recovery Barton learned how to
most efficiently care for her brother s sensitivities, which advanced her patience and
ability to handle extensive injuries. This event in her life led her to have a strong
will to help those in need of medical assistance

Paralympics: The Need for More Worldwide Attention The Paralympics is an
international multi sporting event, which has a shortage of coverage in the media
both internationally and in the United States. People in all nations have a lack of
understanding and knowledge about the Paralympics being a globally recognized
event. Usually the biggest events that are watched worldwide every four years are
either the winter and summer Olympic games or the World Cup. There is a lack of
excitement when it comes to the Paralympics. This may be due to the lack of
coverage for the Paralympics; it hinders the possibility of the making it a bigger and
more recognizable event.
History of the Ancient Olympics
Participation
In the original Olympics the only participants allowed were free male Greek citizens
(Guttman, 2010). According to the Official Website of the Olympic Movement (n.d.)
it didn t matter what the participants social status was, it depended more on their
strength and skills. It is not known for certain the age the participants started
competing, but it is probable that the boys would have to had some sort of athletic
education before competing. Since the games were more based on skill and strength
the age didn t matter so much, but it is estimated that the youngest participant would
be the age of 12. In later years the Olympics would separate the participants by age
groups: younger, middle, and
Commedia Dell Arte
Commedia dell arte literally means comedy of the actors. One side was comedic
theatre that included improvisation, the other was plays that were based on written
texts. The art form came into being around 1550 and reached its height of success in
Italy around 1650. During this time, the great stars of Italian comedyperformed,
including Flaminio Scala, Francesco Andreini and his wife Isabella. The deaths of
those performers and an economic decline in Italy made the drop in the popularity of
the commedia dell arte, which continued to be an important form of theatre until
1780. It can be used effectively in drama today to form characters, add humour or
base storylines off of.
Commedia is made up of several, stock characters, all with short, simple storylines of
their own. Each stock character of the commedia evolved a distinct set of attributes,
speech, gestures, props, and costume that became standard to the portrayal of the
character. Exaggerated gestures and odd speech/accents were used to convey emotion
and intention. The distinctive costumes held particular appeal for modellers of small
sculpture such as Franz Anton Bustelli, who made porcelain figures of commedia
characters. The characters of commedia usually act and gesture very strangely,...

All but two characters (Isabella and Flavio) wear masks because of their meaning.
Since Commedia is a mixture of street performance and theatre, it requires little

Joseph E. Stiglitz
In the article Of the 1%, by the 1%, for the 1% by economist Joseph E. Stiglitz, the
increasing gap in wealth and power between America s richest and the lower classes
is explained by analyzing the policies that allow the upper class to control the
distribution of wealth and the consequences of this control. Stiglitz creates an
effective argument by logically refuting opposing claims, using his expertise as an
economist, and appealing to the American spirit.
In his essay, Stiglitz uses logic, statistics, and examples to refute contrasting claims.
When explaining the recent increase in the one percent s incredible wealth, the author
dissolves the argument that a rising tide lifts all boats by presenting statistics that
show how the middle ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In the article he is uses words such as pioneers and talented to describe those who
have contributed to society despite not being apart of the 1 percent (747), whereas he
calls the wealthy distorted and self interested (750, 752). Stiglitz also chooses to
incite two things that been consistently important in America: patriotism and
rebellion. He first calls into question the patriotism of the wealthy by mentioning their
rare involvement in the volunteer based military, something that many Americans
consider the highest form of dedication to the country (750 751). Inspiring outrage in
many readers, the author ends the essay by mentioning that America s social and
economical conditions are not unlike some Middle Eastern countries that have
recently overturned their governments (752). However, he also states that without the
citizen s rebellion in these countries, improvements would not have been made. This
offers a warning against inaction and reminds readers that rebellion was a founding
belief in American history (753).
The use of devices such as patriotism, his own expertise, and rebutting opposing
views is what makes Joseph Stiglitz s argument effective and persuasive. After
reading his essay, believing an opposing view would be difficult. His most
convincing piece of evidence is using the past experiences of countries with similar
income gaps to issue a subtle warning to his readers.

Seconds to Midnight on the Doomsday Clock
The Atomic bombs released on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan by an American B 29
bomber, the Enola Gay, brought WWII to a significant end. During WWII, the United
States and Soviet Union served as allies against the Axis Powers. Though this wasn t
the only alliance standing against Japan, Italy, Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria; The
United States and USSR s relationship at this point in history was controversial
because the two nations never completely trusted each other although fighting
common enemies. According to historian Gar Alperovitz, The bomb made it possible

(Michiko 385). A civilian who was exposed to the atomic bomb, Yamamoka
Michiko, reflects on the scene she so devastatingly was a part of the day the bomb
was dropped. Her description of the cities ruins gives us an idea of just how brutal
and horrific the nuclear weapon turned to be. Not only did the United States
privately construct such a ruthless weapon, but also used the Atomic Bomb as an
unfortunate way to instantaneously end WWII. The United States decision to
bomb Japan was seen as directed against the Soviet Union because during this time,
Stalin had moved troops to the far East in order to enter war with Japan to secure
and strengthen a soviet strategic position for combat. The bombing of Hiroshima
and Nagasaki is seen as an unnecessary war crime because allied nations were
making moves to prepare to defeat Japan. Though nations such as the Soviet Union
worked vigorously to defeat Japan, the United States wanted to end the war quickly
while letting other nations know the they were in charge due to their possession of
the world s first nuclear weapon. The aftermath of WWII left many nations in a

Sociological Analysis of Migration
In the twenty first century, the world has been turned into a global village due to
globalization that has helped to serve the current economic and social needs. Lee
(1966) has defined migration as a permanent or semi permanent change of residence
(49). This is dictated by factors such as the area of origin, destination, obstacles, and
personal interests. A global city is marked by cultural, racial, and ethnic diversity due
to immigration and settlement. Capitalism invokes the concept of dominance,
power, and racial prejudice within a capitalist society. The idea of the class system

of better socioeconomic environments.
Section I: Theoretical and contextual discussion
Economic, Political and Social aspects of Immigration
Migration is as old as human history since our ancestors were forever on the move
across geographical and climatic regions in search of food and better living condition
(McNeill, 1984). Slave trade enabled human migration from areas such as Africa
North America and India to Europe as domestic or farm laborers. Advancement in
technology and transport means has facilitated globalization and the issue of
population growth became an apparent problem (McNeill, 1984). Immigrants from
Africa towards the northern countries increased in numbers due to the poor
sociopolitical and economic environment that they have been facing in their own
homelands. The numbers of refugees that have been internally displaced by conflicts
are also on the rise. Their immigration to other countries depends on employment
opportunities and foreign policies that allow resettlement and family reunion
programs. A legal entry into a country may end up becoming a case of illegal
immigration due to overstaying. Although the United States has been able to regulate
the number of new immigrants, they cannot completely prevent illegal immigrants.

Plato Republic And Video Games Essay
Both Plato s Republic and videogames offer people a unique outlook on Justice.
Video Games especially role playing games allow players to create their own justice
(or lack of justice). Through the player s choices justice either reveals itself in
unexpected ways or it simply does not exist, and all is controlled by what the player
chooses. The same can be said for The Republic it may not be a videogame in the
same sense but it is still a mind game. Socrates and the interlocutors are creating a
city with their minds, to find justice on a much smaller scale, being the soul. Plato
makes it clear that the city is not real and should be treated as such. The same goes

for them. Video Games like Mass Effect offer one aspect of the portrayal of justice
in videogames. There is a lot of power in letting the player choose their destiny. If
the player doesn t like a decision that they made then it only intensifies the
importance of their actions. Socrates also tries to explain this to the interlocutors
when he says, Then the city must be made bigger again. This healthy one isn t
adequate any more (Plato 373B). The whole city needed to be revamped because
the consequence of Glaucon wanting a city with more stuff has changed the city
itself. Each action that is made whether in videogames or in The Republic has its
consequence. As a result of that the player or the characters have to plan
accordingly to the changes they make, and value what is really important to them.
Justice can also be portrayed in videogames through it being integrated into the
story. Developers of the game may choose to instead depict acts of justice or
injustice the way they view them instead of giving the player a choice. The goal in
the end is to connect with the player and show them a different way to view justice.

Margaret Sanger Nursing Model
The history of nursing is fundamentally the foundation of nursing today. Historical
nursing leaders have paved the way for our nurses in the 21st century by their views,
dedication, and achievements. Not only have these leaders paved the way for nursing
as a profession, but they have also instilled historical changes in health care and in
our society overall. The current definition of nursing today is the protection,
promotion, and optimization of health and abilities, prevention of illness and injury,
alleviation of suffering through the diagnosis and treatment of human response,
advocacy in the care of individuals, families, communities, and populations (ANA,
2010c). A historical nursing leader is one that has carved this definition of nursing
through their actions, values, and beliefs. Also, a historical nursing figure is an
individual that has influenced and continues to influence societal trends in the
nursing profession today by having developed a foundation that still has an impact on
us. The focus of nursing practice is care provided to assist individuals, families,
communities, and populations (Claros and Dean, 2013), which is exactly what
Margaret Sangers focused on in her works. Margaret is the definition of nursing and
is an inspirational model and leader to female nurses in addition to females in
general through her works thus is the reason we choose her as our focal point for
our essay. Margaret Sanger was a nurseworking in New York with immigrant
Streetcar Named Desire Meaning
There is a meaning behind everything in life and in the play A Streetcar Named
Desire there was a significance to the name given to the play and a relation to
Blanche s life. The Literal meaning of the title is that there is a street car that is
actually named desire that she takes to go visit the Kowalskis. The car named
desire is mentioned twice in the story, in the first scene and also later on in the
play when Blanche tells Stella that she came her in the car named desire in
response to Stella asking Haven t you ever ridden on that street car? .
Metaphorically speaking the title has a lot more significance. Blanche is at the
Kowalski place because desire literally brought her there; referring to the street car.
She is also there
The 1956 Suez Crisis in Terms of U.S Involvement Essay
In 1956, the United States, led by President Dwight Eisenhower, became self
enveloped in the Suez Canal Crisis involving Israel, Egypt, France, and Great
Britain. The United States involvement in the Suez Canal Crisis not only resulted in
an Egyptian and Soviet victory, but it also revealed that the United States was
capable of gambling in order to gain alliance with Egyptian President Gamal Abdel
Nasseras a gateway into the Middle East. America, left utterly dismayed by its allies
who planned an endeavor that neglected the country, became involved in the Suez
Crisis to confirm its position as the super power in the Middle East. Great Britain had

In the 1870s however, Ismail put the valuable canal for sale and the British Prime

not gaining much of the Suez profit bothered the Egyptians and many hoped for

colonel stating, By 1954, Colonel Gamal Abdul Nasser had three goals: to make
Egypt Independent by ending British occupation; to build up Egyptian forces for a
successful attack on Israel; to improve Egypt s economy by constructing a high dam
at Aswan to irrigate the Nile Valley (Milner). One of the thinsg that the British were
involved in at the time of the creation of Nasser s goals was the Suez Canal. After
the British left the country, Nasser planned to nationalize the canal. By 1955, the

Hampton Machine Tool Company Case Write up
Summary:
On September 12, 1979, Hampton Machine Tool Company requested from St.
Louis National Bank a renewal to their loan of $1,000,000 due to be repaid on
September 30, 1979 and also to be given an additional loan of $350,000 for new
equipment purchases in October 1979. Both loans were to be repaid on December 31,
1979. Hampton M.T. Company wrote a letter to the St. Louis National Bank stating
the reasons for the extension of the loan and the need of the additional loan, and
giving the current and the predicted future financial position of the company. In order

The cash budget only includes the cash the company has at the start of the business
as well as items that they will be paying for in cash. On the other hand, a pro forma
income statement takes into account projected revenues from sales. Projected sales
minus cost of goods sold as well as other expenses tell the net income. The pro
forma income statement, in the end, gives projected profit, whereas the cash budget
sheet in the end informs whether or not the business will be lacking cash to operate.
In Hampton Machine Tool, the December ending cash balance is not equal to the
projected revenues from sales. This means that HMTC is projected to lose cash and
will need that much cash in order to continue operating. That s why HTMC requested
the additional loan from the bank
5 Critically evaluate the assumptions on which your forecasts are based. What
developments could alter the results? Is Mr. Cowins correct in his belief that
Hampton can repay its loan in
December?
It is important to explain some of the assumptions made in the pro forma statement,
as they play a critical part in determining the forecasted revenues. Cost of sales was
determined by the equation purchases + other outlays change in inventory, other
outlays = cost of sales. Other Expenses was calculated by adding depreciation costs
and four months worth of interest, which came to $47,000

Growing hair follicles are like starting a tulip flower garden. In the black dirt, lays
tulip bulbs waiting for the warm spring sunshine and a few April showers to help
them grow. Tulips are waiting for the right simulation to their genetic code to get
growing and will eventually will sprout above the dirt. The warmth of the sun and
the help of April showers, the tulips will grow into beautiful flowers. After a short
week or so, the beautiful flowering tulips will regress and disappear, but underneath
the black dirt there are already new bulbs forming for the next year.
Hair is very similar to tulips as every hair has a bulb under the surface of the skin.
Then there is a segment that some call the stem. The stem is also under the skin.
Eventually the stem will come up over the skin which is called the hair shaft. I
would suggest thinking of the hair shaft as the flower of the hair. The hair has a
growing phase and shedding phase. So why won t the hair follicles work well for
patients who have Alopecia? A very confused immune system is to blame.
Alopecia is known for hair loss. Alopecia does not discriminate. Alopecia happens
because of a confused immune system. There are many other conditions and diseases
that can happen because of a confused and complexed immune system. Much of our
immune system is not in our control. Everyone s immune system reacts and depends
on three critical things; genetic code, environment and how the immune system
The Importance Of Working At The Post Office
Working at the Post Office is no walk in the park. In fact, this job requires excess
amounts of strenuous activity as well as the ability to multitask, time manage, and
problem solve. While it may seem emotionally draining for some, there is one man
who makes it all look simple, and that man goes by the name of Eric Olszewski. As
5:30 a.m. strikes the clock, most of America is still snoozing except for me. I am
sorting mail at the Post Office. As the sun still sleeps, I spend my time loathing in
silence while scanning incoming parcels to be sorted to their designated routes.
The day seems to be dull. When I am about finished with scanning, my eyes meet
the clock. It is around 7:00 a.m., and the sun is starting to wake up. Just then, I
hear the creaking sound of the double doors swinging open. Before I see him, I can
feel his presence. My eyes gaze to the opening doors, and then I see him. He is
striding in with his long, stringy, sun kissed hair flowing as the wind hits it. He is
geared in the postal blues and ready to seize the day. With eyes still heavy with
sandbags, he says in his rugged, southern accent, good morning, Kristen. How are
you? I notice his crooked smile just below his blonde mustache and matching
goatee. It is contagious. I adjust my posture, smile and reply, good morning, Eric. I
m fine, and you? He lets me know that he is doing great as well, and as I continue
my work, I truly feel as if it will be a great day. What most people do not know
about Eric is that he is not the type of guy to say good morning and then exclude
himself to the world. In fact, I noticed this feature about him as I was struggling one
day at work. Walkingaround to each mail carrier s case, I began picking up some
empty tubs. However, I was struggling as the tubs started to escape my grip. Just
then, I hear a muffled chuckle. I look up and see Eric; he had paused his work to
focus on me. He then begins to walk towards me and says playfully, Here. Let me
show you an easier way to do that. I then watched as Eric gracefully carried the tubs
to their holders, and I listened as he told me how to hold them in a way that would
make them easier to carry. I thanked him, to which he replied, anytime , with a wink

Case Study On Virtualization
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
This business case investigation discusses in depth about the process of virtualization
of servers in an organization and the various benefits of doing so. Giving a brief
introduction to the concept of virtualization, it was introduced in the late 1960s when
the resources of mainframe computers were divided between several applications. [1]
The term virtualization has since then been expanded in terms of practical
application. The conversion of the physical server into a pool containing several
virtual machines which act individually as one computer is known is hardware
virtualization.
These virtual machines have a separate operating system, memory, processor and
other resources which is the shared by the resources of the ... Show more content on

Most of the manufacturing in the organization is automated with the help of high
end servers. These physical servers when are overloaded or when they are being
used for longer period of time, tend to degrade and malfunction as their
components start to fail and this would require replacing them with new ones. This
will incur additional cost to the company if the server is not covered under
manufacturer warranty or it has expired and is no longer in support by the
manufacturer. Thus the organization is in need of virtualization of the physical
servers to overcome these problems. The organization has been around for more
than three decades and hence is using older applications that won t run on newer
hardware and the current hardware is about to degrade. So in order to save the
company from such incidents that could result in major setback in manufacturing,
virtualization of these servers is necessary. Another benefit of virtualizing the
servers is that the resources such as CPUs, disk size, RAM size of the virtual
servers can be increased if the load is too high on the server. This can be done on the
fly, without creating an impact to the organization.
The technology solution that is recommended for the organization is to be provided
by VMware. The physical topology of the datacenter consists of x86 virtualization
servers, storage networks
Touch Football Strengths
This term in PE we have been focusing on energy systems and exercise physiology
principles in Touch Football. In touch there are three positions: middle, link and
wing. My fitness results, when compared to an Australian Touch Association
player (ATA player), are only satisfactory. My speed and cardiovascular endurance
were within range of ATA players but my agility was not, therefore, I have chosen
wing as my best suited position as the key fitness components for this position are
speed, agility, power and cardiovascular endurance. In order for me to improve in
my least acquired skill, agility, I must incorporate agility based skill exercises into
my Dingo Flats training program. The purpose of this presentation is to present and

After being tested for power and speed through a timed 20m sprint; coordination,
balance and agility via a T test and cardiovascular endurance by running the beep
test my results came back as average across the board. My 20 metre sprint time of
3.32 and beep test result of 12.4 both came within the range of all ATA players
results of 2.9 to 3.4 and 12.2 to 14.3 respectively (12PEMoodle, 2015). However,
my agility results came back as slower than the range of all ATA players. As a
result, this means that I am less equipped for the positions link and centre, as they
both require, not only agility, but also balance and coordination too. Balance and
coordination predominately derive from experience playing touch football, which I
have a limited amount of. Reasons for my below average results could have been
due to the testing being done on dewy morning grass without studs to gain traction in
high speed situations like the speed and agility test. Touch football has three
positions, middle, link and wing. Middle and link share the same physiological
characteristics being: coordination/balance, agility, power and anaerobic endurance,
whereas, wing is slightly different, requiring speed, cardiovascular endurance as well
as agility and power. Training for the four main components of fitness for wing is the

The Inequality Of The American Dream
The American Dream is the idea that any American can raise their socioeconomic
status through hard work . However, for many Americans, that dream has become
impossible. Due to economic hardship, many Americans are struggling to simply
provide food for their families. Upward mobility seems elusive. Despite the fact that
some believe the American Dream is still a reality, due to poor education,
unemployment, economic downturn, and economic inequality the American Dream
has become unattainable for most lower and middle class Americans. America has a
massive wealth gap. According to Chris Matthews at Fortune, in America, the

American graduates from college, there is a good chance that they will not be able to
find employment. This is no surprise, since the Great Recession and its aftermath is
the longest, most severe period of economic weakness in more than seven decades
(Davis, Gould, and Kimball). Economic downturn means fewer available jobs,
especially for those who are just entering the market, as most graduates are. According
to the Economic Policy Institute, the unemployment rate for college graduates is 7.2
percent and the underemployment rate (the unemployment rate combined with the
rate of people currently employed part time but seeking full time work) is 14.9
percent. Due to the poor economic situation in America, many graduates are unable to
take the two main paths receiving further education or getting more work experience
that enable future career success (Davis, Gould, and Kimball). How are young

Essay about Technology in Law Enforcement
Technology used in policing enhances law enforcement organizations ability to
function because it has improved police databases, reports, tracking, and forensics
(DOJ, 2004). In addition, a less lethal weapon is designed to disable, capture, or
immobilize a suspect without killing them. However, occasionally deaths do happen
as a result of less lethal weapons which include kinetic energy, electrical, acoustic, and
chemical weapons. Furthermore, violence, disease, and infected evidence are dangers
that law enforcement officers face today.

Specialized cameras now allow crime techs to capture entire crime scenes on video
for later reference. Therefore, GPS devices and forensic science have also been
improved by technology and have enhanced law enforcement organizations ability to

Kinetic energy and electric weapons are less lethal weapons that are used by law
enforcement officers today. Kinetic energy is used by specially developed firearm
rounds that are designed to incapacitate a suspect non lethally. The specially
developed firearm rounds include rubber, wax, plastic, and beanbag tipped
projectiles. For example, if law enforcement officers encounter a heavy set suspect
with a knife that is unwilling to comply, they can fire at the suspect with a beanbag
shotgun to knock the wind of the suspect in an effort to detain him/her. Electric
weapons include stun guns and stun batons which use electricity to immobilize their
targets (Grant, 2008). For instance, if a suspect that poses a threat is not following
orders given to them by law enforcement officers then the stung gun can be used
which ultimately stiffens their muscles rendering them unable to move. Therefore,
kinetic energy and electric weapons are less lethal weapons that are used by law
enforcement officers today.
Chemical weapons are also less lethal weapons that are used by law enforcement

Earth is a 1998 Indian period drama film directed by Deepa Mehta. The story is set
in Lahore in the time period directly before and during the partition of India in 1947.
The film recounts the holocaust of Partition through the eyes of Lenny, a crippled

The movie starts with Lenny revisiting her childhood days as a student coloring her

something which indicates the theme of story that it will portray for next 101
minutes and upon which the story will build around. The words she stated accounts
as Hindu, Muslim and Sikhs who had lived together as one entity for centuries
suddenly started to clamor for pieces of India for themselves. The arbitrary line of
division the British would draw to carve up India in August of 1947 would scar the

V For Vendetta Symbolism Essay
The Power in a Symbol Symbols are used to signify values and ideas, carrying
meaning beyond that which appears to be described. Political symbols, in
particular, represent the ideals that define a society, and as such, are compelling
forces. Some such symbols can be used to instill fear in people and subdue them to
allow corrupt regimes to continue to asserting their dominance in a society and
maintain control. In the face of such injustice and oppression, other political symbols
can, arguably, carry an even greater value, as they can give strength to the
marginalized, giving them an emblem under which they can express their ideals.
Simple objects can hold such power since the ideas they symbolize are timeless,

This allows the Norsefire regime to maintain its absolute, limitless power, with its
people coerced into conformity without the freedom to object or speak out.
Further evidence of the value of this symbol is that V s ruining of the man behind
the voice is what causes the totalitarian government to crumble. In the story,
Prothero is driven to insanity by V, and is unable to continue his role as the Voice
of Fate. The lackluster voice that replaces him results in the symbol being lost, and
a seed of doubt about the government is planted in the people of England. This is a
critical event in the comic, as it helps create the conditions for political revolt. This
event exemplifies the influence a symbol can have. Losing Prothero s convincing
voice exposes the government s human qualities, revealing that the government is
flawed and truly not immortal. By simply changing the voice that broadcasts the
news a symbol of omnipotence and invincibility is ruined, and the grounds are set
for the government to be overthrown. Furthermore, symbols can drive a society to
bring about change by helping identify a cause to work towards. As people lose
their faith in the Norsefire regime, V begins introducing symbols of his own to
represent anarchy and rebellion against oppression. Throughout the comic, V defaces
government property by carving a V within a circle after an act of resistance. This
sign quickly becomes a symbol of rebellion against injustice and

Introduction to Vaccinations
History of Vaccinations
Laying the foundation for modern vaccinology in 1796, Edward Jenner observed a
milkmaid with the cowpox infection appeared to be immune to the outbreak of
smallpox. By inoculating an eight year old boy with the pus from an infected
milkmaid, and exposing smallpox material to the boy weeks later, Jenner
demonstrated smallpox immunization; as the boy never fell ill (Stern, 2005).

An immune compromised patient, such as those taking immune suppressive agents
(organ donor, leukemia), cannot be given this vaccine as it produces the actual
disease (Clem, 2011).
Hence, another disadvantage of live microbes is that they have the ability to mutate
and regain pathogenic factors. This was known to occur with live (oral) polio
vaccine, where the microbe reverted into a form that paralysed the vaccinated host (1
in 750,000 doses)(Nathanson, 2008). As a result of this, industrialized countries only
inoculate the vaccine through inactivated polio vaccine (IPV), which cannot revert.
And finally, live attenuated vaccine failure can occur due to antibody interference,

In general, marketing activities are all those associated with identifying the particular
wants and needs of a target market of customers, and then going about satisfying
those customers better than the competitors? This involves doing market research on
customers, analyzing their needs, and then making strategic decisions about product
design, pricing, promotion and distribution.

Analysis Of The Movie Gone Girl No One Should Criticize...
Rosamund Pike said, When the eyes are on you for the first time, you can t believe
that people aren t criticizing you, and after her fantastic acting performance as Amy
Dunne in Gone Girl no one should criticize her. Gone Girl is full of brilliant acting
by many of the characters, but the actress that stood out the most to me was
Rosamund Pikeas Amy Dunne. The theme of the movie is that everyone has to
conform to some stereotype deemed okay by society in order to be liked. We all
have to put on a face and act to be someone we are not, and Rosamund Pike as Amy
Dunne portrays this beautifully. She is always acting, acting like the cool girl, acting
like the victimbut underneath it she is someone very different; she is not a female
stereotype deemed fit by society but a psychopath. She therefore creates a
multidimensional character with many layers.
The first time the audience sees Amy Dunne she is playing the ultimate cool girl.
Nick introduces himself to her at a party and she creates an image of a sexy,
mysterious, carefree girl. She has her hair in an effortless ponytail with stray pieces
cascading down her face, which reflects her personality: laid back and sexy without
trying to hard. When they first meet she is witty and casual, performing the ultimate
cool girl stereotype perfectly. As Nick and Amy s relationship progresses the
audience sees more and more of this; she literally embodies the perfect woman. But
when she becomes her real self, it shows
The Twelve Tables And Paternal Powers Laws In Ancient
Rome
The twelve Tables hold a special place in the history of governments. Romans who
were not slaves were divided into two classes: patricians and plebeians. The
patricians mostly made up of laws; just to protect their own interest. The plebeians
were for basic rights and wanted the patricians to acknowledge their effort, this
resulted the making of the Twelve Tables. The tables specifically pointed out
fathership rights. Table four Paternal Powers states, To a father... shall be given
over a son the power of life and death. If a father thrice surrenders a son for sale, the
son shall be free from the father... A child born within ten months of the father s
death shall enter into the inheritance. In other words, In Rome s early days, a
roman father could sell his own son into slavery and if that buyer freed the son
then the son reentered his father s control. Considering the moments before the
father s lawful rights, the table notes a dreadfully deformed child shall be killed.
The Romans did not think of children being blessings or having any type of
potential in life like it is today. They main goal here is to see if the child would be
any use to society. Inheritance and Guardianship comes after the Paternal Powers
laws.

Britney Spears: Tragic Hero Almost everyone has some type of flaw, but not
everyone s flaw is as drastic as others. Possessing a flaw is completely normal as
long as that flaw is kept under control, not allowing it to cause a major downfall.
Pop star Britney Spears has a drastic flaw that she allowed to get out of hand which
caused her downfall. Since a flaw she possessed caused her downfall, she gained tons
of unwanted attention from the press. This makes Britney Spears fall under the
definition of a tragic hero.
Britney Spear s rise to fame was one that is not easily forgotten. Britney started her

custody of her two children, but she did eventually get to spend three days a week

Hypotheses or questions are aligned with the problem or research goal, clearly
measurable in the context of the study s intentions and scope, and well stated. The
hypothesis is not in declarative form. There is not a null, directional, or non
directional hypothesis stated clearly. There is not a written hypothesis that states
expected relationships or differences. The inferred hypothesis is not quantitatively
testable, nor clearly measurable.
The survey of the literature is appropriate to the problem or research goal and is
comprehensive enough to indicate the competence of the researcher to conduct the
study. The review is up to date although we do not know when this article was
written. However, by looking at the dates of the citations, we can assume it was
written within the last five years. The review hinted at establishing a theoretical
framework for this study. The review addresses leadership, environment, data
collection, teacher evaluations, and the desire to create a positive difference.
Although the review is well organized, and the literature is analyzed in detail with
an organized and thoughtful flow, it does not immediately relate to the research
goal. It does discuss how to improve schools, but does not go into detail or share
current research regarding Title I Improvement Plans. In fact, there is no detail or

Speech to Persuade for Travel Essay
Planning Your Vacation INTRODUCTION Imagine getting away from the
monotony of your everyday life. You can lie on the beach sipping a cool drink
miles away from your worries of getting a paper done or helping a customer at
work. You can be on top of a mountain overlooking beautiful lands that are different
from your own backyard. Half of the class has taken a vacation less than five times
in their lifetimes, but let s face that most of those probably included those little
family vacations to Disneyland. But, all of you said that you planned to travel
someday. So, why not do it sooner than later? One of the reasons for not traveling
that many of you put is not having time because of school or work. Also, one of your
major concerns is... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

in your normal routine. 3. Lastly, you might eat better because you will probably
eat at more restaurants instead of fast food or the less diverse micro waved
leftovers. (TRANSITION: Next, I will show you how to plan a trip, even for the

to go to in February, as is the closer to home, Dallas, TX. 3. March is great for Italy,
Spain, and another close one, Los Angeles. 4. April is the best time to sit on the

Sartre Essay.pdf

  • 1. Sartre Essay Crafting an essay on the subject of Sartre requires a delicate balance of intellectual engagement and nuanced exploration. Jean-Paul Sartre, a prominent figure in existentialist philosophy, presents a complex web of ideas that demand careful unraveling and thoughtful analysis. To delve into Sartre's existentialist theories is to navigate through intricate philosophical concepts such as existential freedom, bad faith, and the nature of consciousness. The challenge lies not only in understanding these concepts but in articulating a coherent and compelling narrative that synthesizes Sartre's ideas into a unified essay. Sartre's writings, often dense and layered, demand a deep dive into existential philosophy and the historical context that shaped his thoughts. Additionally, grappling with the philosophical jargon and abstract nature of his work can be intellectually demanding, requiring a writer to strike a balance between accessibility and depth. Moreover, writing a Sartre essay involves more than just summarizing his ideas; it requires the ability to critically engage with his philosophy, offering insights, critiques, and perhaps even personal reflections. The essayist must navigate the fine line between explicating Sartre's theories and presenting an original interpretation, making the task both intellectually demanding and creatively challenging. In the end, a well-crafted Sartre essay should not merely regurgitate his ideas but rather illuminate the significance and relevance of his existentialist philosophy in contemporary discourse. It demands a synthesis of scholarly research, critical thinking, and eloquent expression—a task that requires dedication and a profound understanding of the subject matter. For those seeking assistance with essays on Sartre or any other complex topic, platforms like HelpWriting.net provide a valuable resource. There are several reasons why Belstaff is perceived as a male brand. The first one is that the brand is intimately related to the moto world, and motorbikes have always been a boy toy. Less than 10% of motorbike buyers are women (CBS news, 2012). It is possible to see signs of moto lifestyles everywhere around Belstaff. In its history and its relationship with figures like the well known bike s lover Steve McQueen and motorcycle trial icon Sammy Miller (Belstaff official website, Adventures section, 2015). Massive yet small, the DDG 1000 Zumwalt class stealth destroyer is cutting through naval regularity with innovative new offensive, stealth, and information technology. The Zumwalt will be known as the harbinger of technology and innovation in the upcoming years. Just as gunpowder and the machinegun have changed warfare forever, the Zumwalt marks the beginning of a new era. At first sight the DDG 1000 looks less like a destroyerand more like a low poly submarine vessel thanks to its unique tumblehome hull. The angular shape of the destroyer gives it a sonar... • 4. The Pros And Cons Of African Americans In Reconstruction The Civil War ended in 1865 and while the thirteenth amendment was being passed lots of African Americans faced problems. With the death of Abraham Lincoln, Andrew Johnson became president and while he worked with Lincoln he lacked Lincoln s critical thinking and thought that African Americans shouldn t be involved in reconstruction. The definition of freedom is the power or right one has to speak and think as one wants without restraint. Although African Americans were still being treated like vermin by whites and struggled economically they were politically free. In the year 1866, the Civil rights act was passed and it allowed African Americans to own property and be treated equally in court. The only problem with that was the south refused to obey the laws. Once Johnson pulled all the men out of the south who were suppose to protect the rights of African Americans everything fell apart. Henry Adams was traveling and six miles south of town he was beaten by four white men with sticks. The men threatened to kill every Negro that claimed he did not belong to anyone. On his way to Shreveport, he noticed twelve colored men and women beat, shot and hung ( doc D). So, while blacks were free many people in the South believed the there way of life was better and continued to treat African Americans poorly. One of the many people that were treated unequally in Canadian History were the Aboriginals. Before the war began, Aboriginals were not treated fairly by the Canadian government. Aboriginals struggled to get a permanent job therefore clearly displaying Aboriginals struggling to get the resources they need in order to survive. Canadas leader ignored this situation and continued to discriminate Aboriginals (Marshall 2). Several times, Aboriginals were being used by their own country to do their dirty jobs. The Canadian government did not want to risk true Canadian lives, so they used the Aboriginals. By the 1990 s, one would think that the government would come to their senses and realize that the Aboriginals are just like any other human being. However, this was not the case because the Canadian Government tried stealing and taking Aboriginal belongings for their own needs later on. Ultimately, the Aboriginal people were mainly treated unequally by the Government in the Great War, The Manhattan Project, and the Oka Crisis. Aboriginal citizens in the Great War were more than willing to enlist and volunteer however, they were not permitted to do so by the Canadian Government (Armstrong et al.1). Aboriginals hoped that one day, their voices would be heard and that they would get the rights that they deserve. Furthermore, in 1915, the Aboriginals thought the Canadian

  • 8. The Universities Of Higher Education The U.S institutions of higher education around the world have many different and unique ways of educating their students. The students inside these classrooms often apply techniques used by peers to better help their understanding of the world around them. Students should ultimately be more enlightened when they finish at a college or universitythen when they started. These skills that they learn at higher education places should leave these people educated to their fullest potential when they leave, and should leave them with certain skills and abilities that all educated people should posses. Professors, along with universities, should be able to persuade or change a student s core beliefs by intriguingly adding insight to ones life and ultimately making them more educated. There are certain skills and abilities that every educated person should posses after college. The first attribute, would be listening and hearing what others have to say on certain subjects, which seems simple but is a crucial step. Educated people work hard to hear what others have to say. If a person hears what you have to say, and gives you specific feedback that you may not have otherwise heard, had you not been open to listening, then this in part allows you to become more educated. If a person feels like others are listening to him/her it will give that person a sense that what she/he is saying is noteworthy, which will encourage the person to continue to talk to others and

Borja English 12 Semi Honors Program September 30, 2016 The Effect of the Proper Integration of Educational Technology on the Study Skills of Primary and Secondary Students Technology is highly prevalent and accessible now more than ever, so much so that the present is called the Age of Information by many. However, a significant portion of schools around the world still rely on the old style lecture method, detract of the utilization of many modern technological advancements. A citing of the National Center for Educational Statistics by Carver revealed that 97% of American classrooms had at least one computer at hand. However, a mere 40% of teachers actually used their computers in class (110). This is especially notable because of the benefits that schools and institutions could gain for their students should they implement the use of information and communication technology specifically designed for education in classrooms. Students study skills in reading, math, and science have been shown to significantly improve due to the proper integration of educational technology in primary and secondary schools. According to Oxford University s online dictionary, study skills are strategies, usually learned, to help in one s education. Usually the biggest events that are watched worldwide every four years are either the winter and summer Olympic games or the World Cup. There is a lack of excitement when it comes to the Paralympics. The art form came into being around 1550 and reached its height of success in Italy around 1650. During this time, the great stars of Italian comedyperformed, including Flaminio Scala, Francesco Andreini and his wife Isabella. The deaths of those performers and an economic decline in Italy made the drop in the popularity of the commedia dell arte, which continued to be an important form of theatre until 1780. Each stock character of the commedia evolved a distinct set of attributes, speech, gestures, props, and costume that became standard to the portrayal of the character. In the article he is uses words such as pioneers and talented to describe those who have contributed to society despite not being apart of the 1 percent (747), whereas he calls the wealthy distorted and self interested (750, 752). Stiglitz also chooses to incite two things that been consistently important in America: patriotism and rebellion. He first calls into question the patriotism of the wealthy by mentioning their rare involvement in the volunteer based military, something that many Americans consider the highest form of dedication to the country (750 751). Inspiring outrage in many readers, the author ends the essay by mentioning that America s social and economical conditions are not unlike some Middle Eastern countries that have recently overturned their governments (752). However, he also states that without the citizen s rebellion in these countries, improvements would not have been made. This offers a warning against inaction and reminds readers that rebellion was a founding belief in American history (753). The use of devices such as patriotism, his own expertise, and rebutting opposing views is what makes Joseph Stiglitz s argument effective and persuasive. After reading his essay, believing an opposing view would be difficult. His most convincing piece of evidence is using the past experiences of countries with similar income gaps to issue a subtle warning to his readers.

The same can be said for The Republic it may not be a videogame in the same sense but it is still a mind game. Video Games like Mass Effect offer one aspect of the portrayal of justice in videogames. There is a lot of power in letting the player choose their destiny. If the player doesn t like a decision that they made then it only intensifies the importance of their actions. Socrates also tries to explain this to the interlocutors when he says, Then the city must be made bigger again. This healthy one isn t adequate any more (Plato 373B). The whole city needed to be revamped because the consequence of Glaucon wanting a city with more stuff has changed the city itself. Justice can also be portrayed in videogames through it being integrated into the story. Developers of the game may choose to instead depict acts of justice or injustice the way they view them instead of giving the player a choice. The goal in the end is to connect with the player and show them a different way to view justice. For example, most notably the game franchise Grand Theft Auto

Historical nursing leaders have paved the way for our nurses in the 21st century by their views, dedication, and achievements. Not only have these leaders paved the way for nursing as a profession, but they have also instilled historical changes in health care and in our society overall. The current definition of nursing today is the protection, promotion, and optimization of health and abilities, prevention of illness and injury, alleviation of suffering through the diagnosis and treatment of human response, advocacy in the care of individuals, families, communities, and populations (ANA, 2010c). A historical nursing leader is one that has carved this definition of nursing through their actions, values, and beliefs. Also, a historical nursing figure is an individual that has influenced and continues to influence societal trends in the nursing profession today by having developed a foundation that still has an impact on us. The focus of nursing practice is care provided to assist individuals, families, communities, and populations (Claros and Dean, 2013), which is exactly what Margaret Sangers focused on in her works. Both loans were to be repaid on December 31, 1979. Hampton M.T. Company wrote a letter to the St. Louis National Bank stating the reasons for the extension of the loan and the need of the additional loan, and giving the current and the predicted future financial position of the company. The cash budget only includes the cash the company has at the start of the business as well as items that they will be paying for in cash. On the other hand, a pro forma income statement takes into account projected revenues from sales. Projected sales minus cost of goods sold as well as other expenses tell the net income. The pro forma income statement, in the end, gives projected profit, whereas the cash budget sheet in the end informs whether or not the business will be lacking cash to operate. In Hampton Machine Tool, the December ending cash balance is not equal to the projected revenues from sales. This means that HMTC is projected to lose cash and will need that much cash in order to continue operating. That s why HTMC requested the additional loan from the bank 5 Critically evaluate the assumptions on which your forecasts are based. What developments could alter the results? Is Mr. Cowins correct in his belief that Hampton can repay its loan in December? It is important to explain some of the assumptions made in the pro forma statement, as they play a critical part in determining the forecasted revenues. Cost of sales was determined by the equation purchases + other outlays change in inventory, other outlays = cost of sales. Other Expenses was calculated by adding depreciation costs and four months worth of interest, which came to $47,000

In the black dirt, lays tulip bulbs waiting for the warm spring sunshine and a few April showers to help them grow. Tulips are waiting for the right simulation to their genetic code to get growing and will eventually will sprout above the dirt. The warmth of the sun and the help of April showers, the tulips will grow into beautiful flowers. After a short week or so, the beautiful flowering tulips will regress and disappear, but underneath the black dirt there are already new bulbs forming for the next year. Hair is very similar to tulips as every hair has a bulb under the surface of the skin. Then there is a segment that some call the stem. The stem is also under the skin. Eventually the stem will come up over the skin which is called the hair shaft. I would suggest thinking of the hair shaft as the flower of the hair. The hair has a growing phase and shedding phase. So why won t the hair follicles work well for patients who have Alopecia? A very confused immune system is to blame. Alopecia is known for hair loss. Alopecia does not discriminate. Alopecia happens because of a confused immune system. There are many other conditions and diseases that can happen because of a confused and complexed immune system. Much of our immune system is not in our control. Everyone s immune system reacts and depends on three critical things; genetic code, environment and how the immune system

In fact, this job requires excess amounts of strenuous activity as well as the ability to multitask, time manage, and problem solve. While it may seem emotionally draining for some, there is one man who makes it all look simple, and that man goes by the name of Eric Olszewski. As 5:30 a.m. strikes the clock, most of America is still snoozing except for me. I am sorting mail at the Post Office. As the sun still sleeps, I spend my time loathing in silence while scanning incoming parcels to be sorted to their designated routes. The day seems to be dull. When I am about finished with scanning, my eyes meet the clock. It is around 7:00 a.m., and the sun is starting to wake up. Just then, I hear the creaking sound of the double doors swinging open. Before I see him, I can feel his presence. My eyes gaze to the opening doors, and then I see him. He is striding in with his long, stringy, sun kissed hair flowing as the wind hits it. He is geared in the postal blues and ready to seize the day. With eyes still heavy with sandbags, he says in his rugged, southern accent, good morning, Kristen. How are you? I notice his crooked smile just below his blonde mustache and matching goatee. It is contagious. I adjust my posture, smile and reply, good morning, Eric. I m fine, and you? He lets me know that he is doing great as well, and as I continue my work, I truly feel as if it will be a great day. What most people do not know about Eric is that he is not the type of guy to say good morning and then exclude himself to the world. In fact, I noticed this feature about him as I was struggling one day at work. Walkingaround to each mail carrier s case, I began picking up some empty tubs. However, I was struggling as the tubs started to escape my grip. Just then, I hear a muffled chuckle. I look up and see Eric; he had paused his work to focus on me. He then begins to walk towards me and says playfully, Here. Let me show you an easier way to do that. I then watched as Eric gracefully carried the tubs to their holders, and I listened as he told me how to hold them in a way that would make them easier to carry. I thanked him, to which he replied, anytime , with a wink and a

  • 30. Case Study On Virtualization EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This business case investigation discusses in depth about the process of virtualization of servers in an organization and the various benefits of doing so. Giving a brief introduction to the concept of virtualization, it was introduced in the late 1960s when the resources of mainframe computers were divided between several applications. [1] The term virtualization has since then been expanded in terms of practical application. The conversion of the physical server into a pool containing several virtual machines which act individually as one computer is known is hardware virtualization. These virtual machines have a separate operating system, memory, processor and other resources which is the shared by the resources of the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Most of the manufacturing in the organization is automated with the help of high end servers. These physical servers when are overloaded or when they are being used for longer period of time, tend to degrade and malfunction as their components start to fail and this would require replacing them with new ones. This will incur additional cost to the company if the server is not covered under manufacturer warranty or it has expired and is no longer in support by the manufacturer. Thus the organization is in need of virtualization of the physical servers to overcome these problems. The organization has been around for more than three decades and hence is using older applications that won t run on newer hardware and the current hardware is about to degrade. So in order to save the company from such incidents that could result in major setback in manufacturing, virtualization of these servers is necessary. Another benefit of virtualizing the servers is that the resources such as CPUs, disk size, RAM size of the virtual servers can be increased if the load is too high on the server. This can be done on the fly, without creating an impact to the organization. The technology solution that is recommended for the organization is to be provided by VMware. The physical topology of the datacenter consists of x86 virtualization servers, storage networks

The lackluster voice that replaces him results in the symbol being lost, and a seed of doubt about the government is planted in the people of England. This was known to occur with live (oral) polio vaccine, where the microbe reverted into a form that paralysed the vaccinated host (1 in 750,000 doses)(Nathanson, 2008). As a result of this, industrialized countries only inoculate the vaccine through inactivated polio vaccine (IPV), which cannot revert.
