The clerk is responsible for encouraging
the development and promotion of things
that create a positive image of the
business in order to generate customer
goodwill and loyalty.

Where a company carries out its own promotion the
clerk will be involved in communicating with media
houses such as newspapers, magazines, radio and
television stations. However, when the firm decides to
carry out promotional activities through advertising
agencies, the clerk is responsible for liaising with them
to help sell the company’s products and services.

their employees, and their customers can
get information about the company’s
business activities e.g. about their latest
offers, special events, etc and to promote
public relations.

potential customers can find out about the
company and the products and services they
offer. This website is aim towards raising the
company’s image and is usually maintained
by the corporate communications clerk.

‘family days’ for employees and their
families, and sometimes customers
and their families, to promote
goodwill and a sense of ‘belonging’.

the environment, consumers, employees, the
community, etc. Events maybe geared toward
encouraging community growth and
development , voluntarily stopping practices
that are harmful to the environment or to
promoting the company’s image.
