Globe Theater Research Paper
The Globe Theater s beautiful building design and interesting former times have been a very notable
element of our past, it had even held many of Shakespeare s famous plays. The whole world is a
playhouse and one of the most important playhouses in the world would have to be The Globe Theater
. It is nearly impossible to think of our world without The Globe Theater and all the interesting
occurrences that have happened involving it. This theater could have been nothing more than a
building if it were for all the important history that was incorporated into it making it be such an
important piece of history. Between 1597 and 1599, The Globe Theater was built and it officially
opened in 1599. In the beginning, there were six shareholders ... Show more content on

believing that it was hopeless for even wondering. Its exact location remained unknown until the
remnants of the theater were discovered in 1989 beneath the car park of Anchor Terrace on Park

eager to restore the theater to its former glory. This Theater was rebuilt three times, but after being
opened in 1997, it has continued to run and be a great success. The latest Globe Theater was

it was changed and now goes by the new title, Shakespeare s Globe Theater . It opened in 1997 under

Essay On Why College Athletes Should Be Paid
Throughout the years many schools have been caught paying their athletes money when they are not
allowed to. The National Collegiate Athletic Association, or the NCAA, makes billions of dollars
every year because of the popularity of their sports. When the school has a successful season they are
making millions of dollars and as a result, some schools are breaking the rules and they are trying to
pay players and recruits to entice them to come to their school so they can make even more money.
This has lead to a corrupt system and has many people asking whether it would be better to just pay
college athletes or not.
There have been many different times in which colleges have be caught paying their players. Some of
the more recent cases have occurred at the University of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Their reasoning for thinking this way is because their names and images are used all of the time.
College sports are the only sporting events in the world that bring in large amounts of money but do
not pay out to its athletes. Many advocates of paying the athletes think that the athletes put in enough
time and hard work to earn a paycheck, and they do not have the time to be employed anywhere else.
The supporter of this issue say that there is not a way of stopping the large companies from cashing in
on the student athletes. Many people in this camp think that the NCAA should not be allowed to call
themselves a nonprofit organization. These people find it unfair that coaches get paid so much and the
players get nothing. For example, Nick Saban, the University of Alabama s football coach, makes 11
million dollars per year (Swanson). Supporters of paying college athletes find it unfair that the
coaches are making so much money while the players are receiving nothing. One simple reason that
they feel that they should be paid is because they are making money for

Human effects and involvement on endangered and extinct species
Tiffany Tierson
Abstract
This paper was constructed to give an overview of the vast majority of species that are disappearing
and have disappeared from the earth. With informative knowledge and accurate numbers the reader
was introduced to the different ways that animals are becoming extinct, deforestation, overpopulation,
economic prosperity, population growth, urban environment, global perspective and science and
ethics. Each of these is affecting different species at different rates, but what was concluded by
comparing numbers is that humans are truly responsible for their actions and the actions of causing the
exaction and endangerment of animals. Humans are the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

The Asian Elephant and overpopulation Asian elephant s population once expanded from West Asia
along the Iranian coast into the Indian subcontinent, eastwards into South east Asia including Sumatra,
Java, and Borneo, and into China at least as far as the Yangtze Kiang. Crude estimates must be made
about the remaining population size because it has become hard to count the number of animals left in
the thick vegetation where they have been forced to reside from people invading their areas. Asian
elephants can be found in grassland, tropical evergreen forest, semi evergreen forest, moist deciduous
forest, dry deciduous forested and dry thorn forest, in addition to cultivated and secondary forests and
scrublands. These are areas, especially the forests where the growing population of Asia and India
have now become human homes and territory, forcing the animals to reside on smaller locations of
land with fewer resources for them, and more for humans. (http://www.iucnredlist.org/details/7140).

Symptoms Of Stereotypes In The Black Swan
The Black Swan is a psychologically based thriller in which Nina, a dedicated ballerina who belongs
to a highly elite company in New York City, strives to one day become prima ballerina. She covets the
role of Swan Queen in her company s upcoming rendition of Swan Lake . As she is shy and innocent
in her demeanor, Nina is the epitome of the character of the White Swan. On the other hand, the part
of the Black Swan is seductive, dark, and passionate. The artistic director of the company, Thomas,
doubts her ability to embody both roles but through a shocking display of boldness by Nina, he
decides she is capable of taking on both roles, and awards her the part. The rest of the film is dedicated
to showing her insatiable dedication to achieve ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
One of the most common symptoms associated with schizophrenia is delusions, or false beliefs bases
on incorrect inferences about reality. For example, Nina believes that Lily, a ballerina who is new to
the company, is trying to replace her and steal her role. This is an inaccurate belief because Lily never
displayed any motivation to steal the role and was also nothing but kind and friendly to Nina. Nina
also experiences hallucinations, which are another symptom commonly associated with this disorder.
Hallucinations are false sensory perceptions that are experienced without an external source. They can
be auditory, visual, olfactory, or somatosensory. In Nina s case, she experiences mostly visual and
somatosensory hallucinations such as seeing herself pull a feather out of her skin or her physical
transformation into the Black Swan when she perceives herself growing feathers and wings. While
genetics plays a role in the development of schizophrenia, we cannot come to the conclusion that
anyone in Nina s family was a schizophrenic or that it would be the sole cause of her developing the
disorder. Environmental stress is shown to also contribute to the development and Nina is overcome
with the pressure to achieve perfection and to uphold her company s reputation which creates an
atmosphere of extreme stress that she must cope with. There are both pharmacological and
psychosocial treatments for schizophrenia such as the drugs haloperidol and chlorpromazine and the
participation in social skills training; neither of these treatments were referenced in this film.
Schizophrenia is also commonly confused with dissociative identity disorder (DID), also referred to as
multiple personality disorder. This condition is the occurrence of two or more distinct identities in the
same person. Many people that are diagnosed with DID, report being abused in their

America s Treatment Of The Elderly
There is a perceived notion that Eastern societies view aging in a positive aspect, while Western
societies view aging in a negative light. Although there is much emphasis on respect for elders on the
Confucian societies, however, does East Asia s treatment of the Elderly really differ from North
America s treatment? In the Perceptions of Aging in Two cultures: Korean and American views on Old
Age, the authors are able to prove their thesis that through previous studies by Harwood et al that
countries such as South Korea, Philippines and Hong Kong do not necessarily hold positive views on
of old age. In this study, to better understand beliefs and perceptions of aging, Koreans were expected
to have a greater fear of old people, worry more about their physical appearance, and show greater
levels of anxiety over aging more than their American counter parts. Although American women were
expected to show more anxiety towards their physical appearance more than their male counterparts.
Such perceptions on older people have an effect on the mental, physical and emotional health of
elderly people. The many negative stereotypes about seniors affect how seniors see themselves and
how society views them. These stereotypes are usually regarding their physical and cognitive abilities
. Although these stereotypes may seem harmless, they hold serious ramifications to which affects the
elderly participation in activities which may improve their physical or cognitive abilities. These

Difference Between Rsa And Mvp Classification Analysis And...
1.1 What is representational similarity analysis?
Representational similarity analysis (RSA) is an analysis framework builds on a rich
psychological and mathematical literature, in which multi channel measures of neural activity
are quantitatively related to each other and to computational theory and behavior by comparing
RDMs. RDM is the representational dissimilarity matrix, which contains a cell for each pair of
experimental conditions. Each cell is a number reflecting the dissimilarity between the activity
patterns associated with the two conditions. The core of the of RSA is to use RDM as a signature
of the representations in brain regions and computational models (Kriegeskorte, Mur,
Bandettini, 2008).
1.2 The differences between RSA and MVP classification analysis and the new information
that can be obtained from representational similarity analysis that is not revealed by MVP
classification or univariate analysis.
RSA is a particular versatile version of MVPA. It goes beyond testing of information in
regional response patterns and enables researchers to handle condition rich experiments without
predefined stimulus categories, to test conceptual and computational models, and to relate
representations between humans and monkeys, and even to related across different types of brain
activity measurements.
1.2.1 Major differences:
1) MVP classification analysis focus on the representations of the brain associated with

Why Should Women Earn Impartial Pay
The possibilities of dreams are endless, but no person can maximize the American Dream on the
minimum wage (Benjamin Todd Jealous). The unequal pay between men and women has persisted for
a while, and it is time that a law should be passed. If a colleague is working just as hard as a person in
that same position, they should not be paid less. A law for wage equality is needed because the hard
work of both men and women should be treated equally. Women who play as good as, or better than
men, earn an impartial pay based on their work. Even if men and women are both very good at the
same sport, being a women interferes with the pay value. For example, WNBA star Candace Parker
earns the league maximum of $111,500 per year. NBA star LeBron James makes $31 ... Show more

In last year s Western Southern Open in Mason, Ohio, for example, Roger Federer earned $731,000
for winning, while Serena Williams received $495,000 68 percent of Federer s prize for her victory the
same day (Stoffers). Although Serena Williams works very hard and wins a tennis championship, she
gets a dissimilar amount of money to congratulate her victory. Furthermore, as women move up in job
positions, the impartial pay value increases. In technology industries, the study found that female
technologists earn as much as men with comparable experience during their first five years of
experience (Pratt).
Although women start out with an equal pay, the more experience they have, the less money they earn
comparable to men. In addition, Lilly Ledbetter worked in the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in
Gadsden, Alabama, in 1979. Ledbetter s position is high on the experience ladder. But, as Ledbetter
was nearing retirement in 1998, an anonymous tipster left her a note detailing discrepancies between
her salary and those of three men in the same position (Gale Biography In Context). The Goodyear

Pros And Cons For English Colonization
Terifay 1
Sarah Terifay
Mr. Wade
United States History
September 16, 2017
Motivations for English Colonization Greed was one of the leading causes to the English exploration
of the Americas. During the reign of Queen Elizabeth, Spain took the lead in exploring and setting up
colonies much in North America which in turn caused the English to become wary of a possible new
powerhouse and threat. Along with a fear of threat was also a want to inhabit the new land and thus
gain trading partners, find treasure, and expand before Spain had a chance to flood more of the vast
new land. Elizabeth rapidly set out to build a colony, first giving a charter to Sir Humphrey Gilbert,
Sir Walter Raleigh, no such English colony would exist until James I came to rule (Shi and Tindall 48
49). Eventually, Religious tension, a want for gold, and a desire for new goods led the English to
expand and configure colonies in the New World. After Elizabeth s death, the Church of England went
into a time of crisis. Many people found the rituals, bishops, and elaborate costumes and jewels to be
unnecessary to religion. Along with this, many people started to view bishops of the church as
dictatorial leaders who should have no part in government. The Puritans were one of the first groups
to question the showy form of church which would eventually lead them to the new world due to
being banished by the king for not following the basic principles. The Pilgrims were another group
that wanted that would

Where The Wild Things Are By Maurice Sendak
1. Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak is an exuberant picture book which will make it a
fun and exciting read. The compressed language will guide children easily throughout the book.
Sendak promotes a touching message of unconditional love, a message that even if one misbehaves,
there will be supper waiting on the table (Max does get sent to his room, but no matter how much he
has misbehaved, his mother will always love him and cherish him). Sendak also dives into deeper
psychological emotions . Max might be seen and chastised as a wild thing by his mother, his
emotional actions are described as an integral part of his being, maybe not quite appropriate, but also
not completely inappropriate, rather as a living, breathing part of Max s being. It is these emotions,
these feelings that are the impetus to Max s adventures in the realm of the Wild Things.
2. The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle captures young readers with its vivid and colorful
collage illustrations and its deceptively hopeful story. With its die cut pages and finger sized holes to
explore, this is a satisfying book for children. The main character has to overcome his ravenous
appetite on his journey to become a butterfly will simply entice children and hopefully inspire them.
3. The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg is a book filled with pure magic and wonder. The moral of
the story is to dive in and believe, leaving reality behind. This book will not only let children indulge

The Shadows Of Man By Jane Goodall Essay
In The Shadows of Man by Jane Goodall Primatology is the scientific study of non human primate
behaviors among wild apes, monkeys and other related animals in natural settings or in laboratories by
conducting lab experiments and studies on captive primates. A person who studies primatology is a
primatologist. There are many reasons for studying primates, but possibly the most significant reason
is to learn about the origins of humans. When studying primatology, one can easily observe the
behavioral similarities primates share with humans, and probably begin to understand how humans got
to where they are today. The reason anthropology studies primates over any other animal is because
primates are the closest living relatives to humans. One primatologist, who significantly surpassed
many others in her field, was Jane Goodall. Jane Goodall studied the behaviors of primates and other
animals as well, but she specifically studied chimpanzees. Goodall in her book, In the Shadows of
Man, shared her three groundbreaking discoveries she achieved through her extensive observations
and research. Goodall s three major discoveries were the complex social system chimps had lived, the
hunting and meat consumption process and the usage of tools. Goodall s research lead to massive
evolution in primatology because her research was the starting point that allowed other primatologist
to conduct other important researches on chimpanzees and other primates. They managed to study
primates in a

inequalities in London s life expectancy and healthy life expectancy . This will include examining
factors which influences health inequalities, comparing theoretical explanations and the policies put in
place that potentially reduce the levels of health inequalities in London.
AC.1
Health inequalities are preventable differences in health status experienced by certain population
groups. It is suggested people of a lower socio economic group are more likely to experience chronic
ill health and earlier death expectancy than those who are more privileged. The causes of health

Secondly the figures contained in this report have been obtained and analysed from the year 2009 to
2011. It has also been updated and revised several times including a revision of life (healthy)
expectancy in November 2013. Regular updating and adjustments of data increases the accuracy and
relevance of the outcomes, furthermore findings gain more validity and recognition.
Another advantage of this report is its use of quantitative research. The selection of charts, tables and
graphs are highly creditable in terms of measuring validity and reliability. It provides data with precise
and non bias numerical findings.
Additionally this report has been published by Public Health England and is part of the Government s
department of health. It is a government obligation to provide public access to this report and others
completed by the public health department. This wide accessibility suggests that the data obtained has
been greatly measured to support its claims.
On the other hand some disadvantages of reliability can be identified. The data provided on the life
expectancy and healthy life expectancy from birth presents difficulties in the consistency and
replication of the findings. The figures are an estimated average of new born mortality rate (2010 12)
and cannot provide exact figures of expected life span. The reason for this is because health
prevalence and mortality rate between areas are changeable. In

Supply And Demand Of A Good Or Service
Supply and demand is a fundamental factor in shaping the character of the marketplace. A demand
refers to the specific quantity of a product /good or service that people are willing and able to buy at
given price level, where supply of a good or service represents how much quantity people are willing
and able to offer for sale at given price level. There are various factors that demand and supply of a
good or service depend on. Demand of a product depends on the price of the product, number of
buyers in the market, tastes and preferences of consumer, consumer s income, consumer expectations
and prices of related commodities. Supply of a product depends on the price of that product, number
of sellers in the market, technology, input ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Demand is determined by many factors other than price. The shift in demand curve occurs when there
is a change in factors other than price, results in the shift of demand curve. For example, if level of
income of an individual or a community rises, then demand will increase at the same price level
leading demand curve to shift to the right. Similarly, if there is a fall in the disposable income of the
consumers or rise in the prices of close substitute of a good or decline in consumer taste or goods are
unavailable, etc., at the same price level, there is a fall or decrease in demand leading demand curve to
shift to the left as shown in Figure 2
http://economicsconcepts.com/movement_vs_shift_of_demand_curve.htm In case of supply, if other
factor changes except its own price, the supply curve will shift towards left or right at same price
level. For example, For example, if production cost of a product increases, then the supply will
decrease and the supply curve will shift towards right and if the production cost decreases, then supply
will increase and the supply curve will shift towards left, as shown in figure: 3 With the help of above

2 of the 25 warehouses containing the asbestos reside in states that do not have laws in place requiring
the special handling and disposal of the asbestos when the building is demolished or otherwise

six months to a third party. The purchase/sales contract contains a standard provision allowing the
buyer to require LOI to remove the asbestos prior to the date of the sale. LOI has previously sold
warehouses to this same third party based on purchase/sales contracts containing similar provisions
related to the removal of asbestos. In each of those transactions, the third party has never enforced the

LOI believes that there is a 90% probability that the third party will not enforce the provision in the

LOI will be required to remove the asbestos, no asset retirement obligation needs to be recognized. At

Geo Location And Social Media Services
Geo location and social media services are becoming the way of the future online. These services are
redefining the way we find and connect to interests and hobbies. Through the expansion of Geo
location and tagging mobile social media services, user s privacy online will continue to be exposed
without their knowledge and risk being victims to potential criminals.
With the progression and development in GPS and Wi Fi, geo location has become a dominant tool
that can collect information over huge distances. It is purpose is to identify the physical location and
time of a user when they post something on the internet. This helps advertisers and third party
companies to help predict or assume the interest and likes of the user. The more the user uses the

Gifted Education Act Essay
Currently the Jacob K. Javits Gifted and Talented Students Act of 1988 is the only national law which
directly addresses gifted children, and is the sole channel for federal funding of gifted education
(Russo and Ford; Inman and Kirchner 10). The Act reinstated, expanded, and updated programs which
had been cut, but it has several limitations (Russo and Ford). It does not address the needs of students
or mandate creation of gifted programs (Inman and Kirchner 10; Russo and Ford). Instead, it allocates
money, ranging from $0 to $11.2 million, for research grants (Inman and Kirchner 10). It also does not
set substantive or procedural due process safeguards as IDEA does (Russo and Ford). Although the
Act has great intentions, it can be ignored by states or districts which do not place priority on gifted
students (Russo and Ford).
Without a federal law actually mandating gifted education, states are responsible for legislation for
identification and services (Inman and Kirchner 11). According to Inman, Kentucky is one of the
strongest states for gifted education legislation; it simply does not have the funding it needs.

Essay on Analysis of Alice Munro s How I Met My Husband
Analysis of Alice Munro s How I Met My Husband
All of it is clear to a person who has understanding and right to those who have acquired knowledge.
(Proverbs 8:6 9)
Alice Munro gives a good example of the meaning of this in her story How I Met My Husband . The
theme of this story is under certain circumstances people can sometimes be blind to the truth.
The main character, Edie, provides the narration of the story from a first person point of view. She
tells her story based on an event from her past. Because she narrates the story the reader is unable to
be sure if what she tells of the other characters is completely accurate. Because one does not hear
other character s thoughts one could question whether Edie ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

She was very responsible for her age because she took care of the Peebleses two children and of their
house. Yet, she was uneducated and did not know much about love or boys. She told of how she
longed for a boyfriend or someone to kiss. Sometimes when you want things bad enough you begin to
believe they are true. For example, because Edie really wanted someone to love her, she really
believed Chris would send her a letter. However, if she would have examined his prior actions, like
how he treated Alice, Edie could have come to the conclusion that there would be no letter.
Another character important in the story was Chris. He was a soldier in the war. Supposedly, he was
engaged to Alice but from the way he treated her, one would question it. Also, he was cowardly
because he ran away from her rather than telling her how he truly felt, he said, ...A plane can get
further than a car . Also, the reader may believe he is running away from his feelings because of
something deeper. Maybe the war had injured him emotionally or mentally. These factors will
definitely make it hard to discover what is true.
Also, the character of Alice has some interesting meaning to the story. The character of Alice may be
modeled after the author Alice Munro because they have shared similar experiences between men.
Apparently, the author had been through a divorce and many of the

Compare And Contrast Walter And Beneatha
Lorraine Hansberry wrote a novel in 1959 called A Raisin in the Sun. In this book, the Youngers, an
African American family of five is living together in a very small apartment located in Chicago.
Mama owns this apartment, her two kids Walter Lee and Beneatha live with her, as well as Walter s
wife Ruth and their son Travis. After the death of Walter and Beneatha s father, Mama receives an
insurance payment because of his passing. There are many opinions on what to do with this money.
Walter and Beneatha both have ambition. There goals are very different but through this quest of
hopes and dreams, they have to remember that everything happens for a reason, even if it doesn t seem
that way. Walter Lee is an African American man who is constantly trying to make things right for his
family. He is very selfish to begin with. Walter basically just expects the $10,000 to go to him to open
a liquor store. When the check arrives, that is all he cares about. He doesn t care to talk to his wife,
even when Mama tells him he needs to talk to her. Walter ignores her and only has his eyes on the
check until ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
She is a fierce character who is very hard headed. She believes in everything she does. After telling
Mama and Ruth she is now going to guitar lessons they remind her of all the other activities she has
participated in. Beneatha states I I experiment with different forms of expression (Hansberry 35). She
disagrees with Mama and her family often. She has different point of views on the cultures, God and
society. Beneatha also has a different view on the money that the family receives. Beneatha agrees that
the money is Mama s, but Mama supports her in becoming a doctor. Course you going to be a doctor,
honey, God willing (38). Although Walter doesn t completely agree with Beneatha s decision of
becoming a doctor, he can later find the good in Beneatha just to make them

Iran Provides No Freedom of Speech on the Internet Essay
Introduction:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise
thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to
assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
The first amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America can often be taken for
granted. In many third world countries, the idea of freedom of speech is in the back of people s minds,
but almost never brought to the forefront of issues facing the country and government. In recent years,
this has become especially evident in the Middle East. In the United States, we are shown a display of
the harsh authoritative rule of governments ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, the rumble of revolution has been felt for many years in Iran. Until recently, this has never
been a big problem for the government to stomp out because of its vast control over speech. It could
easily shut down the printing of reformist newspapers and throw the journalists in jail. Now, the
Internet has taken that little rumble and is quickly turning it into an earthquake. The control the
government had over other outlets can t translate to the Internet because of its vastness and
anonymous nature. The Internet is opening a door to let out the true feelings of the Iranian people, and
the process cannot be reversed.
Background:
The spread of the Internet in Iran started almost the same as it did in the United States. Like in the
1960s and 1970s when only the Unites States Depart of Defense and certain academic institutions had
these nodes in place, Iran only had certain nodes in academia when they first used the Internet in
19931. It definitely didn t stop there.
Although Internet access in Iran is only at about 3%, it is showing one of the fastest rates of growth in
the world. It is estimated that the number of users in on the Internet will have soared from 1.2 million
in 2003 to 15 million in 20061. With such a rapid expansion of this online medium will come an
increased opposition to the authoritative government. Already the struggle for democracy can be seen
in Iran. Reformist web sites and publications are up

Women s Rights Is The Fight For Equality
Women s rights is the fight for the idea that women should have equal rights with men. Over history,
this has taken the form of gaining property rights, the women s suffrage, or the right of women to
vote, reproductive rights, and the right to work for for equal pay. Women were conditioned to be
treated like second class citizens solely because of their gender until a crucial movement in American
history during the late nineteenth century that would inspire a long fight for equality for generations to
come. The American women s movement was a tedious yet extraordinarily important movement that
challenged the social norms of a patriarchal society for their own recognition. Overall, this paper will
discuss the importance of women s labor ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
First Women s Rights Convention was held in 1848. Approximately 300 activists meet in Seneca
Falls, N.Y., to plan on how to achieve women s suffrage nationwide. Partakers, including Lucretia
Mott and Elizabeth Cady Stanton, mark the Declaration of Sentiments and Resolutions, formed on the
Declaration of Independence, which calls for equivalent treatment of women and men under the law
and voting rights for women.
The main organizer of the Seneca Falls Convention was Elizabeth Cady Stanton, who is deemed as
one of the most important people that made an important change in women s rights. Stanton drafted
the Declaration of Sentiments, Grievances, and Resolutions, that related to the Declaration of
Independence. We hold these truths to be self evident: that all men and women are created equal.
Among the 13 resolutions set forth in Stanton s Declaration was the goal of achieving the sacred right
of franchise (History, Art and Archives). They stated the injustices and discrimination that women had
to face with, they wanted the United States to adopt laws that protected the rights of married women,
granting them the right to own property in their own name, keep their own earnings and retain
guardianship of their children in case of divorce (Deborah Brown). In 1868, The National Labor
Union, one of the nation s first structured labor advocacy groups,

Thank You for Our Project, Jessica
Hello again Jessica. I know I haven t exactly been keeping my promises on the due dates and I m only
fortifying the stigma that I touched on in my last email but I ve still got a few questions. (Did you get
my last email, by the way?) Anyway, would you just like me to submit what I have? I have well over
two minutes and way more than five angles. Sound has also been added and mixed. The entire movie,
however, is not finished. It should give you enough to grade or at least be a worthy placeholder until I
can really submit a product I m not totally disappointing with. I know it may be hard to even fathom
what could possibly be taking so long but I ve been mulling over several other things regarding this
project.
One of the reasons I can t seem to get anywhere and one of the areas I m constantly getting hung up
on is the nature and tone of the project itself.
I wanted to establish a sort of creepy and unsettling mood for the project and I can t achieve what I
was originally visioning in my head. Some of the animations employed simply seem to make their
scene seem frivolous, silly, and awkward. I may spend up to an hour or two just trying to figure out
how to make the seemingly insignificant feel right.
Another issue that I m having is that there are several frame rate and frame jump mishaps that have
occurred during the initial picture taking. Sometimes the character will jump from one shot to another
and, subsequently, the scene appears

Different Attitudes To Love In La Belle Dame Sans Merci...
Different Attitudes To Love In La Belle Dame Sans Merci And I Wanna Be Yours
In This essay I will aim to consider the different attitudes of love demonstrated by John Keats and
John Cooper Clarke. I will go on to consider how each poet uses imagery and other language devices
to convey their message. I will compare the structure and rhythm of each poem, and consider how this
affect the mood created in each poem. To conclude, I will show that the cynical attitude towards love
demonstrated by John Keats is a reflection upon his painful life experiences, while the more positive
attitude demonstrated by John Cooper Clarke conveys a message of hope while accepting the
imperfections of the human race. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There is a suggestion in this poem that these two people have had a past relationship. It suggests that
one partner has been unfaithful but is now filled with remorse and is desperately trying to convince the
other person that they are sorry and will never make the same mistake again. This suggestion is shown
by the words I don t wanna be hers, I wanna be yours!
Keats portrays love in a negative light. I believe that Keats is saying that love always feels wonderful
in the beginning but that feeling never lasts and very soon it dies as demonstrated by the metaphor; on
thy cheek a fading rose, fast witherth too!
In contrast John Cooper Clarke portrays love in a positive light, but he recognises how hard you have
to try to make love work. He uses metaphors that suggest protection, comfort and security, for
example, let me be your teddy bear, suggests that they will always be together through all life s ups
and downs. By using imagery of every day objects he tries to create a warm domestic picture. He
appears to be trying to create a picture of reliability trying to convince the unseen lady that he won t

Ethnography Of Glucose
Glucose is a form of energy derived from carbohydrates. All living organisms requires energy to live
and thrive. When glucose is ingested it is transported through the circulatory system by the various
tissues and organs. This glucose will be used by the muscular and nervous system to complete day to
day task. If the body is not in need of glucose it will be stored in the form of glycogen for a later date.
The entire process starts with carbohydrates, for this paper we will be tracing the path of glucose
starting with ingestion to the planter surface of the right foot. The glucose we are ingesting starts for
example as a slice of pizza.
As the pizza enters the mouth it is broken down into smaller particles by the teeth so that digestion can

Victor Salva Directing Third Jeepers Movie Summary
In Devin Faraci s article Child Molestor Victor Salva Directing Third Jeepers Creepers Movie in his
opinion, Faraci provides a detailed news report on child molestor Victor Salva being hired as the
director for the new Jeepers Creepers movie. Appalled by the news, Faraci gives a brief history of
Victor Salva s crimes and reinstates that even though contrary to the public belief that Victor Salva,
accused and having served time for his rape of 12 year old child actor Nathan Forrest Winters, star of
Salvas film Clownhouse and owning child pornography, Salva, after serving his sentence continued to
shoot films with child actors regardless of his sexual predator nature.
Faraci is open with his discontent in the industries lack of morality and sense, by allowing a child
molester and sex offender to direct and be in contact with children in his previous and future films.
Faraci is also appalled by the way the industry and the public seems to have forgotten what Salva did
and why he should never direct again, especially not if there are kids involved.

How Do Tattoos Affect Society
Tattoos in Society
Even though tattoos are sometimes viewed as unprofessional and offensive, tattoos are just a form of
art because tattoos should not hinder someone from anything in life and people with tattoos are just as
human as everyone else.Tattoos have been around for a long time and have always been a subject that
causes conflicts and contradictions, both negatively and positively. Some companies do not allow their
employees to have visible tattoos, some do. There are jobs out there that are strict with the dress code
and grooming conduct.
Where I work, one of the dress code restrictions are that if you do have visible tattoos or body art, they
are to be covered by either band aid or sleeves, if anyone has a tattoo or ... Show more content on

This could be a reasonable reason for having found more mummies that were women. The tools used
back in ancient times were described to be a sharp point set in a wooden handle, flattened needles that
when tied together would provide repeated patterns of multiple dots. Now the tools have evolved but
are still the same concept a needle that pierces the skin repeatedly creating the same effect on the skin.
It was a painful process back then and it has not changed. You get severe burning when getting the
tattoo and sometimes the person cannot take the pain and they have to stop the process, so they are left
with a tattoo that is halve way and the they have to go through the removal process if they wish to
remove it. Although the tools are more advanced the pain you get when getting a tattoo is still the
same.

There are some that are more popular than others like Red, Green, Yellow, Blue, and White these
colors are usually used as tint. There are different types of pigments that are used now days, there are
organic based, mineral based, and plastic based, and the plastic based pigments are the one s used for
brighter colors. The ink used is usually FDA approved but there are still places that use the illegal ink,

The National Collegiate Athletic Association, or the NCAA, makes billions of dollars every year because of the popularity of their sports. When the school has a successful season they are making millions of dollars and as a result, some schools are breaking the rules and they are trying to pay players and recruits to entice them to come to their school so they can make even more money. College sports are the only sporting events in the world that bring in large amounts of money but do not pay out to its athletes. Many advocates of paying the athletes think that the athletes put in enough time and hard work to earn a paycheck, and they do not have the time to be employed anywhere else. The supporter of this issue say that there is not a way of stopping the large companies from cashing in on the student athletes. Many people in this camp think that the NCAA should not be allowed to call themselves a nonprofit organization. These people find it unfair that coaches get paid so much and the players get nothing. For example, Nick Saban, the University of Alabama s football coach, makes 11 million dollars per year (Swanson). Supporters of paying college athletes find it unfair that the coaches are making so much money while the players are receiving nothing. Crude estimates must be made about the remaining population size because it has become hard to count the number of animals left in the thick vegetation where they have been forced to reside from people invading their areas. Asian elephants can be found in grassland, tropical evergreen forest, semi evergreen forest, moist deciduous forest, dry deciduous forested and dry thorn forest, in addition to cultivated and secondary forests and scrublands. Symptoms Of Stereotypes In The Black Swan The Black Swan is a psychologically based thriller in which Nina, a dedicated ballerina who belongs to a highly elite company in New York City, strives to one day become prima ballerina. She covets the role of Swan Queen in her company s upcoming rendition of Swan Lake . As she is shy and innocent in her demeanor, Nina is the epitome of the character of the White Swan. On the other hand, the part of the Black Swan is seductive, dark, and passionate. One of the most common symptoms associated with schizophrenia is delusions, or false beliefs bases on incorrect inferences about reality. For example, Nina believes that Lily, a ballerina who is new to the company, is trying to replace her and steal her role. This is an inaccurate belief because Lily never displayed any motivation to steal the role and was also nothing but kind and friendly to Nina. Nina also experiences hallucinations, which are another symptom commonly associated with this disorder. Hallucinations are false sensory perceptions that are experienced without an external source. They can be auditory, visual, olfactory, or somatosensory. In Nina s case, she experiences mostly visual and somatosensory hallucinations such as seeing herself pull a feather out of her skin or her physical transformation into the Black Swan when she perceives herself growing feathers and wings. While genetics plays a role in the development of schizophrenia, we cannot come to the conclusion that anyone in Nina s family was a schizophrenic or that it would be the sole cause of her developing the disorder. Environmental stress is shown to also contribute to the development and Nina is overcome with the pressure to achieve perfection and to uphold her company s reputation which creates an atmosphere of extreme stress that she must cope with. There are both pharmacological and psychosocial treatments for schizophrenia such as the drugs haloperidol and chlorpromazine and the participation in social skills training; neither of these treatments were referenced in this film. Schizophrenia is also commonly confused with dissociative identity disorder (DID), also referred to as multiple personality disorder. Although there is much emphasis on respect for elders on the Confucian societies, however, does East Asia s treatment of the Elderly really differ from North America s treatment? In the Perceptions of Aging in Two cultures: Korean and American views on Old Age, the authors are able to prove their thesis that through previous studies by Harwood et al that countries such as South Korea, Philippines and Hong Kong do not necessarily hold positive views on of old age. In this study, to better understand beliefs and perceptions of aging, Koreans were expected to have a greater fear of old people, worry more about their physical appearance, and show greater levels of anxiety over aging more than their American counter parts. Although American women were expected to show more anxiety towards their physical appearance more than their male counterparts. Representational similarity analysis (RSA) is an analysis framework builds on a rich psychological and mathematical literature, in which multi channel measures of neural activity are quantitatively related to each other and to computational theory and behavior by comparing RDMs. RDM is the representational dissimilarity matrix, which contains a cell for each pair of experimental conditions. Each cell is a number reflecting the dissimilarity between the activity patterns associated with the two conditions. The core of the of RSA is to use RDM as a signature of the representations in brain regions and computational models (Kriegeskorte, Mur, Bandettini, 2008). 1.2 The differences between RSA and MVP classification analysis and the new information that can be obtained from representational similarity analysis that is not revealed by MVP classification or univariate analysis. The unequal pay between men and women has persisted for a while, and it is time that a law should be passed. If a colleague is working just as hard as a person in that same position, they should not be paid less. A law for wage equality is needed because the hard work of both men and women should be treated equally. Women who play as good as, or better than men, earn an impartial pay based on their work. • 11. Pros And Cons For English Colonization Terifay 1 Sarah Terifay Mr. Wade United States History September 16, 2017 Motivations for English Colonization Greed was one of the leading causes to the English exploration of the Americas. During the reign of Queen Elizabeth, Spain took the lead in exploring and setting up colonies much in North America which in turn caused the English to become wary of a possible new powerhouse and threat. Along with a fear of threat was also a want to inhabit the new land and thus gain trading partners, find treasure, and expand before Spain had a chance to flood more of the vast new land. Elizabeth rapidly set out to build a colony, first giving a charter to Sir Humphrey Gilbert, Sir Walter Raleigh, no such English colony would exist until James I came to rule (Shi and Tindall 48 49). Eventually, Religious tension, a want for gold, and a desire for new goods led the English to expand and configure colonies in the New World. After Elizabeth s death, the Church of England went into a time of crisis. Many people found the rituals, bishops, and elaborate costumes and jewels to be unnecessary to religion. Along with this, many people started to view bishops of the church as dictatorial leaders who should have no part in government. The Puritans were one of the first groups to question the showy form of church which would eventually lead them to the new world due to being banished by the king for not following the basic principles. Sendak also dives into deeper psychological emotions . Max might be seen and chastised as a wild thing by his mother, his emotional actions are described as an integral part of his being, maybe not quite appropriate, but also not completely inappropriate, rather as a living, breathing part of Max s being. • 13. The Shadows Of Man By Jane Goodall Essay In The Shadows of Man by Jane Goodall Primatology is the scientific study of non human primate behaviors among wild apes, monkeys and other related animals in natural settings or in laboratories by conducting lab experiments and studies on captive primates. A person who studies primatology is a primatologist. There are many reasons for studying primates, but possibly the most significant reason is to learn about the origins of humans. When studying primatology, one can easily observe the behavioral similarities primates share with humans, and probably begin to understand how humans got to where they are today. The reason anthropology studies primates over any other animal is because primates are the closest living relatives to humans. One primatologist, who significantly surpassed many others in her field, was Jane Goodall. Jane Goodall studied the behaviors of primates and other animals as well, but she specifically studied chimpanzees. Goodall in her book, In the Shadows of Man, shared her three groundbreaking discoveries she achieved through her extensive observations and research. Goodall s three major discoveries were the complex social system chimps had lived, the hunting and meat consumption process and the usage of tools. Goodall s research lead to massive evolution in primatology because her research was the starting point that allowed other primatologist to conduct other important researches on chimpanzees and other primates. It provides data with precise and non bias numerical findings. Additionally this report has been published by Public Health England and is part of the Government s department of health. It is a government obligation to provide public access to this report and others completed by the public health department. This wide accessibility suggests that the data obtained has been greatly measured to support its claims. On the other hand some disadvantages of reliability can be identified. The data provided on the life expectancy and healthy life expectancy from birth presents difficulties in the consistency and replication of the findings. The figures are an estimated average of new born mortality rate (2010 12) and cannot provide exact figures of expected life span. The Act reinstated, expanded, and updated programs which had been cut, but it has several limitations (Russo and Ford). (Proverbs 8:6 9) Alice Munro gives a good example of the meaning of this in her story How I Met My Husband . The theme of this story is under certain circumstances people can sometimes be blind to the truth. The main character, Edie, provides the narration of the story from a first person point of view. She tells her story based on an event from her past. Because she narrates the story the reader is unable to be sure if what she tells of the other characters is completely accurate. Because one does not hear other character s thoughts one could question whether Edie ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... She was very responsible for her age because she took care of the Peebleses two children and of their house. Yet, she was uneducated and did not know much about love or boys. She told of how she longed for a boyfriend or someone to kiss. Sometimes when you want things bad enough you begin to believe they are true. For example, because Edie really wanted someone to love her, she really believed Chris would send her a letter. However, if she would have examined his prior actions, like how he treated Alice, Edie could have come to the conclusion that there would be no letter. Another character important in the story was Chris. He was a soldier in the war. Supposedly, he was engaged to Alice but from the way he treated her, one would question it. Also, he was cowardly because he ran away from her rather than telling her how he truly felt, he said, ...A plane can get further than a car . Also, the reader may believe he is running away from his feelings because of something deeper. Maybe the war had injured him emotionally or mentally. These factors will definitely make it hard to discover what is true. Also, the character of Alice has some interesting meaning to the story. The character of Alice may be modeled after the author Alice Munro because they have shared similar experiences between men. Apparently, the author had been through a divorce and many of the ... Iran Provides No Freedom of Speech on the Internet Essay Introduction: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. The first amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America can often be taken for granted. In many third world countries, the idea of freedom of speech is in the back of people s minds, but almost never brought to the forefront of issues facing the country and government. In recent years, this has become especially evident in the Middle East. In the United States, we are shown a display of the harsh authoritative rule of governments ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... However, the rumble of revolution has been felt for many years in Iran. Until recently, this has never been a big problem for the government to stomp out because of its vast control over speech. It could easily shut down the printing of reformist newspapers and throw the journalists in jail. Now, the Internet has taken that little rumble and is quickly turning it into an earthquake. The control the government had over other outlets can t translate to the Internet because of its vastness and anonymous nature. The Internet is opening a door to let out the true feelings of the Iranian people, and the process cannot be reversed. Background: The spread of the Internet in Iran started almost the same as it did in the United States. Like in the 1960s and 1970s when only the Unites States Depart of Defense and certain academic institutions had these nodes in place, Iran only had certain nodes in academia when they first used the Internet in 19931. It definitely didn t stop there. Although Internet access in Iran is only at about 3%, it is showing one of the fastest rates of growth in the world. It is estimated that the number of users in on the Internet will have soared from 1.2 million in 2003 to 15 million in 20061. With such a rapid expansion of this online medium will come an increased opposition to the authoritative government. Already the struggle for democracy can be seen in Iran. Over history, this has taken the form of gaining property rights, the women s suffrage, or the right of women to vote, reproductive rights, and the right to work for for equal pay. Women were conditioned to be treated like second class citizens solely because of their gender until a crucial movement in American history during the late nineteenth century that would inspire a long fight for equality for generations to come. The main organizer of the Seneca Falls Convention was Elizabeth Cady Stanton, who is deemed as one of the most important people that made an important change in women s rights. Stanton drafted the Declaration of Sentiments, Grievances, and Resolutions, that related to the Declaration of Independence. We hold these truths to be self evident: that all men and women are created equal. Among the 13 resolutions set forth in Stanton s Declaration was the goal of achieving the sacred right of franchise (History, Art and Archives). They stated the injustices and discrimination that women had to face with, they wanted the United States to adopt laws that protected the rights of married women, granting them the right to own property in their own name, keep their own earnings and retain guardianship of their children in case of divorce (Deborah Brown). • 29. Thank You for Our Project, Jessica Hello again Jessica. I know I haven t exactly been keeping my promises on the due dates and I m only fortifying the stigma that I touched on in my last email but I ve still got a few questions. (Did you get my last email, by the way?) Anyway, would you just like me to submit what I have? I have well over two minutes and way more than five angles. Sound has also been added and mixed. The entire movie, however, is not finished. It should give you enough to grade or at least be a worthy placeholder until I can really submit a product I m not totally disappointing with. I know it may be hard to even fathom what could possibly be taking so long but I ve been mulling over several other things regarding this project. One of the reasons I can t seem to get anywhere and one of the areas I m constantly getting hung up on is the nature and tone of the project itself. I wanted to establish a sort of creepy and unsettling mood for the project and I can t achieve what I was originally visioning in my head. Some of the animations employed simply seem to make their scene seem frivolous, silly, and awkward. I may spend up to an hour or two just trying to figure out how to make the seemingly insignificant feel right. Another issue that I m having is that there are several frame rate and frame jump mishaps that have occurred during the initial picture taking. Sometimes the character will jump from one shot to another and, subsequently, the scene appears ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 30. Different Attitudes To Love In La Belle Dame Sans Merci... Different Attitudes To Love In La Belle Dame Sans Merci And I Wanna Be Yours In This essay I will aim to consider the different attitudes of love demonstrated by John Keats and John Cooper Clarke. I will go on to consider how each poet uses imagery and other language devices to convey their message. I will compare the structure and rhythm of each poem, and consider how this affect the mood created in each poem. To conclude, I will show that the cynical attitude towards love demonstrated by John Keats is a reflection upon his painful life experiences, while the more positive attitude demonstrated by John Cooper Clarke conveys a message of hope while accepting the imperfections of the human race. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... There is a suggestion in this poem that these two people have had a past relationship. It suggests that one partner has been unfaithful but is now filled with remorse and is desperately trying to convince the other person that they are sorry and will never make the same mistake again. This suggestion is shown by the words I don t wanna be hers, I wanna be yours! Keats portrays love in a negative light. I believe that Keats is saying that love always feels wonderful in the beginning but that feeling never lasts and very soon it dies as demonstrated by the metaphor; on thy cheek a fading rose, fast witherth too! In contrast John Cooper Clarke portrays love in a positive light, but he recognises how hard you have to try to make love work. He uses metaphors that suggest protection, comfort and security, for example, let me be your teddy bear, suggests that they will always be together through all life s ups and downs. By using imagery of every day objects he tries to create a warm domestic picture. He appears to be trying to create a picture of reliability trying to convince the unseen lady that he won t run out, Let me be your electric meter I will not run out.
