when in the beginning of the drawing, my little cousin was screaming while I was trying to focus on

The shapes that were used are geometrical shapes and organic shapes. Geometrical shapes in this
composition are circles, squares, and triangles. By using them to create implied lines this way it would
look different and would stand out from all the other lines that surround the circles. The balanced that
was used in this composition is asymmetrical. Asymmetrical balance, how two sides of the paper aren
t identical. For instance, on the right side of the composition, there is squares and spiral lines but on

nation s jail population flows like a torrential river with upwards of 12 million individuals moving in
and out of institutions annually (Lyman, 167). The population is continuing to grow in jails because of
the growth in the crime itself. It is debated whether or not nonviolent criminals should be given jail
time. There are other punishments that could be given to criminals that have not created violent
crimes, for example serving community service, being on house arrest and speaking to a parole officer.
Another question that society considers is whether or not in the long run will society itself benefit

it which are polyandry defined as one wife with two or more husbands or polygyny defined as one

compared and contrasted who all part take in polygynous marriages. The three groups are the Bedouin
Arab men, the Cree and Saulteaux bands, and the Shirazi from the Comoro Islands. Polygyny is quite

The first study that will be discussed is the Bedouin Arabs; an Interview with 100 Bedouin Arab
husbands, wives, children, and extended family members of polygynous families in the Negev of

The Importance Of Becoming A Doctor Never Crossed My Mind
Before college and even after my freshmen year in college, I never valued the importance of helping
other people. Back then, I used to think that no matter how hard we try, there will still be people who
need our help. And to be honest, the thought of becoming a doctor never crossed my mind, until the
car accident that occurred during my sophomore year that put me in a coma for two weeks and took
away my brother s life. Being so close to death has not only taught me that life is so precious, yet
fragile, it has also made me realize that this life is not all about me. Fast forward to today, I still feel
thankful for being alive every day and the time I spent in the hospital really helped me realize that it
doesn t matter if we can t help everyone, but what does matter is the people that we were able to help.
After I returned to school, I decided to participate in various volunteer activities to help
underprivileged people, a thing that I never was able to bring myself to do before. It is also when I
decided to pursue a career in medicine, hoping that I might be able to ease the pain of other people.
During the summer after my sophomore year in college, I decided to participate in a program by the
United Nations that provided clinical assistances to a small village, called Tayo in Cambodia. On the
first couple of days, I assisted the doctors with the patient s medical history as well as any relevant
