Should College Should Be Not Free For College Students
Over the years there has been the question whether college should be completely free for all college
students. Just this year the excelsior scholarship was introduced in which eligible college students can
attend a SUNY or CUNY college tuition free (Higher Education Services Corporation). The other
ways to get partially or completely free college tuition is through the programs of financial aid,
opportunity programs and scholarships. All of these programs help make college cheaper in order to
make it easier for students to pursue a career. The issue with all of these offers is that not every
students is eligible for these programs. This hardship to afford a college career guides them to their
last and final resource, a student loan. According to the Federal Student Aid a loan is borrowed money
from the government that must be payed back with interest (U.S Department of education). These
loans can take up many years to pay back even many years after the student has received their college
diploma. For college students a loan is the last option they have in order to be able to stay in college,
the majority when they are faced with this option they prefer to drop out because they cannot afford to
pay. The government should take the proposal into consideration of making public college education
free for all college students. Every college students who cannot afford to go to college rely on college
loans in order to finish their career. Based upon the evidence from the huff

Villains of All Nations
The Villains of All Nations is book written by Marcus Rediker that follows the origins of the pirate
boom before and after the War of Spanish Succession. The book covers infamous pirates like
Bartholomew Roberts, William Fly, and Edward Teach also known as Blackbeard. It discusses the grim
environment of working the seas for the government, what lead many people to turn to piracy, the tale
of the first women pirates Anne Bonny and Mary Read, how piracy impacted slavery, the pirates
bonds of brotherhood under the Jolly Roger, and the events that lead to the death of the pirate era
itself. Many times the writing style of the book at time felt distracting, confusing, and even frustrating.
For example, whenever Rediker would refer to a quote ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The brand of justice pirates toward vessels they captured was something I found fascinating. For
example, on page 88, the incident involving the capture of Captain Snelgraves vessel by the pirate
Thomas Cocklyn. Initially Snelgrave resisted Cocklyns takeover so as Cocklyns crew overpowers
Snelgraves and is taken by the pirates. Certain that Snelgrave will be killed or beaten for resisting,
Snelgraves crew comes to their captains defense thus Cocklyn sparring the respected captains life.
Because of the degree of respect Snelgraves had, Cocklyn not often seeing a government captain
holding such admiration from a crew offered him a new ship and profits from a captured slave ship for
his return to England. This story really caught my attention because of the level of hospitality pirates
show to a captain who held such respect with his own crew. Putting myself in the the position of a
sailor back in that time I can see why many were attracted to the life of a pirate. The life of a sea
faring man during the early 18th century was a grueling way of work. Wages were low, decease was
rampant, ships were cramped, and discipline from officers was brutal, sometime murderous. The
pirate life symbolized freedom and liberty and a brotherhood that stood for being one for

Julian Monologue
I would like to tell it exactly how it happened. No embellishments, no cut outs, or exaggerations. I
would like to be able to explain all in extreme yet detached detail, with none of my own bias coloring
it. My own nature tries to prevent me from doing so, yet I attempt time and time again. Who is to say
this will be any different, but I find myself trying again to the best of my ability. We had been walking.
I got home, they didn t. There. Colorless, yes, but wholly accurate. The road diverged in yellow wood,
and one took the path that would lead to a terrible fate. Protest reigns inside me as a faceless character
berates my mind. That was not enough to justify my nightmares and endless feelings of fear in
haunting limbo. Julian Day had been ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It lasted long enough for me to get close enough to smell the pungent iron of his blood. As soon as I
was in reach, his crimson hands reached out and grabbed my shoulders. They brought our faces within
inches. For a moment, a Julian that I recognized came back. Pain lanced his features. The jacket,
Phillie Boy, bring back the jacket... A moment passed, and a primitive instinct in me told me he had
died. My dreamer had dropped out of his body sack and moved on. Yet his arms still moved. His chest
still rose and fell with breath. Fingers still shook as they held fast to my shoulder. Above all, a single
thought reared itself above the hordes. This thing is dead, yet it is alive. A dead thing held onto my
shoulders, clothed in my friend s body, yet I did not scream. I did not lay down and beg to die in that
forest. What had happened was that the undiluted fear immobilized me. Hell had burst out of the
ground and manifested itself in Julian, but my body was in a stupefied trance. What had been the body
of my dreamer was now the home of an unlimited force of fear. Whatever was in the woods had come
out, searching for prey, and claimed him as its

Ethics and Legality in Classroom Management A teacher must deal with disruptive classroom
behavior throughout their career. To do so, they must not only develop their skills in handling these
situations but also develop ethical standards for their classroom. These standards set forth by the
teacher will help them deal with their students, those students parents, the school administrators and
their community. There are numerous articles written that could help a teacher when researching any

1992). The age of the student involved plays a factor as well, putting some liability on the parents.
With the numerous factors involved in the determination of liability a teacher should be well versed in
the rules and regulations as well as their responsibilities to the classroom and to the students
themselves. Student behavior and discipline in the classroom have been impacted by legislation and
litigation as was discussed in an article written by Mitchell Yell and Michael Rozalski, The Impact of
Legislation and Litigation on Disciple and Student Behavior in the Classroom. The authors believe
that all students should receive their education in safe, orderly, and well disciplined schools but
maintaining these environments has become a major challenge for educators (Yell, M Rozalski, M,
2008). Most states have laws that govern discipline in schools which also protect the rights of students
in public education (Yell, et.al, 2008). These state laws control the actions of school officials when
they carry out certain discipline related functions, such as gathering evidence (e.g., searching students,
their lockers, or their personal property), seizing contraband from students backpacks, or conducting
any administrative actions that restrict a student s property interest to attend school (e.g., suspension,
expulsion) (Yell, et.al, 2008). A student s entitlement under state law to a public education is

Short Essay On Paradiso
In the distant past, the world of Paradiso is a magical land filled with tons of magical energy. Nature
was plentiful and many civilizations were in a state of prosperity. The residents of that world were
magical beings called Seraphs and they use their powers to live happily. The future of that world
might continue to prosper if it weren t for these certain events. It started a few Seraphs causing many
crimes to get what they want. These seven Seraphs soon wanted the precious energy of Paradiso and
attack their own brethren to get their hands on it. Soon, they were defeated by the other residents and
cast out from Paradiso into the world with little magic known as Earth where the residents there were
called humans. On Earth, these seven Seraphs have survived through the harshness of that world as

The Theme Of Redemption In The Kite Runner
Throughout people s lives, there is a call for redemption. Some people will face their past and others
will leave it behind. The people who face their pasts will be more than likely to succeed at redemption.
Some characters from Khaled Hosseini s novel, The Kite Runner, are seeking redemption. The novel
is placed in Afghanistan and later shifts to the United States. Amir, a young Islamic boy who grows up
in Afghanistan, watches Hassan get raped when they were young. When he is older, moving to
America is when Amir finds the best opportunity to redeem himself by starting a new life and
adopting Sohrab. Amir goes back to Afghanistan and Rahim Khan describes the troubles in Afghan

Amir has asked her father if they could get married and he approved. Amir is thrilled to marry Soraya,
but she wants to tell him something. Amir is excited to marry her and he says without a doubt, I don t
care what it is (164). He isn t worried about what Soraya is going to tell him and says it won t change
his mind. Soraya begins to tell him about how she ran away with and the Afghan man, got into drugs
and was rebellious at the time. She tells about when she came home, her mother had a stroke and felt
guilty. Soraya asks Amir if what she told him had bothered him. Amir says it has in fact bothered him
a little and is thinking, I owed her the truth on this one (165). It has stung his pride, but he does still
love her and has not changed his mind. After he tells Soraya that he still wants to marry her, she broke
out in tears. Soraya had the courage to tell Amir about her past and he accepted it. She successfully
redeemed herself of her past life of drugs and regret.
In Khaled Hosseini s story, The Kite Runner, Amir, Sohrab, and Soraya have tried to find redemption.
The three have succeeded, but their path to redemption has been difficult. Overall, Amir, and Soraya
were struggling with their own past lives, and Sohrab sought redemption for his father s. Hosseini s
novel portrayed how redeeming yourself, or others isn t easy. Some people will face their past and

Threat Assessment Ranks Cyber Related Vulnerabilities
The 2014 Worldwide Threat Assessment ranks cyber related vulnerabilities as the number one
homeland security threat against the United States. In addition to cyber threats within the nation,
Russia and China continue to hold views substantially divergent from the United States on the
meaning and intent of international cyber security. Also stated within the 2013 Worldwide Threat
Assessment is North Korea as they are becoming a tier one threat to the United States. Supervisory
Control and Data Acquisition has been seen as vulnerable and is noted as a severe threat to the nation s
critical infrastructure.

If the America s power grid were to suffer a major attack, it could have cascading effects that would
impact other primary areas of the infrastructure, including telecommunications, water, oil and gas
systems. The purpose of this paper is to elaborate on the issues surrounding SCADA systems and its
vulnerabilities. Within this will be previous SCADA attacks against critical infrastructures,
recommended solutions for prevention and risk assessment regarding power grids.
Vulnerabilities of SCADA Systems
The potential for such attacks has risen sharply in recent years as many SCADA systems, including
those at some very large public power companies, are increasingly integrated with networks with
direct links to the Internet. (Vijayan, 2010) It was stated by the Wall Street Journal that cyber spies in
Russia, China and other countries had already taken advantage of such vulnerabilities to deeply
penetrate the U.S electrical grid. This issue is not just a current problem but will continue to escalate
in the future going forward along with advances in new technologies. Thus the security for SCADA
systems can no longer rely on obscurity or on being a function of locking down a system. These
attacks can disrupt and damage critical infrastructural operations, cause major economic

Psychology Of Religion
Ludwig Feuerbach and Sigmund Freud were similar in that both were reductionists who saw God as
somewhat of a false projection of the human mind, so both offer a psychology of religion, but that is
also the ending of their similarities. Feuerbach, for example, saw religion as the consciousness of God
being merely the projection of self consciousness; as Feuerbach puts it, Such as are a man s thought
and dispositions, such is his God (Feuerbach, p.139). And Feuerbach found that studying religion was
beneficial to understanding humankind and did not need to be destroyed or dismantled, which is why
he proposed the idea that Theology is Anthropology (Feuerbach, p.141). Freud, on the other hand, saw
religion as a form of neurosis stemming from ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
138). Self consciousness to God consciousness is an idea in which one projects their values and ideals
onto the created deity in order to give oneself a moral guideline to live up to, theoretically. And while
in most religions it may not be the individual s moral ideals, but those adopted from the religion they
are surrounded by or have chosen to ascribe themselves, the same general idea would still apply as it
would be the collective projecting of the self consciousness into God consciousness. While Feuerbach
does not necessarily see a benefit to following any religions and believing in any god or gods, he does
not decide to call for there to be an end to such deities or religions, as he does not see any harm
stemming from the belief in them; rather, he believes that religious gods give a way of studying the
people that worship them. The idea of studying a religion to understand the people that follow or
believe said religion is a concept that Feuerbach coined as Theology is anthropology (Feuerbach, p.
141). This idea is exactly what one would expect it to be, as the study of the religion or the god(s) of
the religion is really the study of the believers of that religion. Similarly one can study the Greek, the
Roman, or any other pagan god in order to

Analysis Of The Book The House On Mango Street
Taylor Christensen Mrs.Evans Fourth Period November, 7th 2016 The House on Mango Street In the
novel, The House on Mango Street , author Sandra Cisneros portrays a story of a young girl,
Esperanza who is completely dissatisfied with her life. She yearns for what she considers a perfect
house and various other items that she believes will make her existence perfect. As she finds out who
she truly is and what she is really good at, she becomes the person she had hidden all along. She was
lost inside someone who was so conceited, and hoped for things that could never even happen.
Unfortunately, when someone does not accept the realities of their life, maybe to make it better at
some point, their situation becomes intolerable because this individual keeps searching for something
that is unattainable. When her sister, Nene is mentioned in the story Esperanza always proclaims Nene
as not a good enough friend/sister, another example of how nothing is good enough for her. Esperanza
always says everything about her is bad luck, her name, her family history even the date she was born.
On the Chinese calendar she is a horse which is bad luck. Born like me in the Chinese year of the
horse which is supposed to be bad luck if you re born female but I think it s a Chinese lie because the
Chinese, like the Mexicans, don t like their women strong (Cisneros 12). Already defeated, if you are

seeks to change this. In a nutshell, Fragoria dives you deep into another fantasy world, this time filled

War on Wages
President Obama opened his State of the Union address with the dilemma of service employees
earning minimum wage in the United States, Even with the tax relief we ve put in place, a family with
two kids that earns the minimum wage still lives below the poverty line...that s wrong (qtd in State of
the Union Address 2013). The debate over whether or not the minimum wage should be raised has
carried on for years between Democrats and Republicans. While many Republican politicians feel that
an increase in minimum wage would be devastating to the economy in terms of job security and , in

His research found that there was no statistical correlation of minimum wage increase and
unemployment rate increase, but rather that the only outcome of a minimum wage increase was the
benefit of the minimum wage employees. The Republicans argument was struck down once again, but
unfortunately corporate lobbyists have made them resilient against reason. The problem that many
politicians seem to forget is that the fast food workforce is not only made up of high school and
college kids anymore; the Federal Bureau of Labor Statistics published a survey which found that the
median age of fast food workers were 29.2 years. Many of the employees that are in their late twenties
and early thirties are supporting a family on minimum wage which results in an annual income of
$15,000 to $20,000 per year, which is below the poverty level for a family of four. Because of their
low income, many families also rely on public assistance. The University of California Berkeley
Center for Labor Research and Education released a study revealing the amount of fast food workers
still in need of government assistance which was an alarming 52 percent (Allegretto). This is where
the American taxpayer is, or should be, concerned. According to Allegretto, the cost of public
assistance going towards food workers is an alarming seven billion dollars annually. That is seven

How Does Pacino Present Shakespeare In Looking For Richard
Al Pacino s Looking for Richard presents a facet of cultural and academic critiques of performing
Shakespeare while striving to turn those preconceived presumptions on their head. Pacino shakes up
the script and provides an interesting conversation on the importance, influence, and approachability
of Shakespeare on a grand scale. In an important rehearsal scene at 41:26, Frederic Kimball exclaims
that actors truly are the possessions the possessors of a tradition, the proud inheritors of the
understanding of Shakespeare (Pacino, Looking for Richard). In this documentary, Pacino uses
method acting to mirror the challenges of producing Richard III to the play itself. At 41:26, the scene
is framed as a medium shot of Kimball, while the edge of the frame shows Pacino and Winona Ryder
at a close up. Ryder and Pacino are positioned sitting directly next to each other while Kimball is at a
distance. The camera is tilted down towards Kimball. This particular way of framing the scene
illustrates the relationship between their characters within the play and presents the process of making
the film. Pacino, as Richard, is the main focus and the central character in the play that is given the

Short And Long-Term Effects Of Alcohol Abuse
Substance Related Disorders
1. Describe a number of short and long term effects of alcohol abuse.
Some short term effects of alcohol abuse are the reduction of tension, production of pleasurable
affects, as well as slowed thinking and memory loss. Studies also show poor decision making to be a
short term effect of alcohol consumption. Some long term effects are psychological deterioration as
well as a physical deterioration. Just about every organ is adversely affected by the long term
consumption of alcohol. For example, a person who uses alcohol long term reduces the amount of
food intake due to the calories consumed by alcohol that has little nutritional value. Over time this
person can become malnourished. Long term use of alcohol can ... Show more content on

The Inseparable Curtis Brothers In The Outsiders
The Inseparable Curtis Brothers
Is life even possible without parents when you are a teenager? Try raising two younger brothers on top
of that. In S.E. Hinton s book, The Outsiders, Darry Curtis took this duty into his own hands and
tackled it as though he was a father. The Outsiders is a book about a rivalry between the two sides of
town that leads to the death of three kids, two greasers and Soc. Does the sun set on both sides of
town? The main characters in the story, Ponyboy, Sodapop, and Darry Curtis lose their parents in a car
crash and have to adjust to life on their own. The Curtis brothers fear that the state agency will split
them up, but they should not get split because they look out for each other, push each other, and need
each other.
Uniquely, both Darry and Soda focus a lot on Pony s future. In the story, one of the fellow greasers,
Two Bit, says to Ponyboy, You know, the only thing that keeps Darry from bein a Soc is us. (Hinton
126) The boys have to regulate living life on their own which leads to Darry dropping the thought of
college and working instead to help meet his two younger brothers needs. Not to mention that Soda
dropped out of high school to work and help Darry with bills and such. Ponyboy says, Darry was too
smart to be a greaser. (Hinton 126) Darry is not like the other greasers, he was a strong athlete and did
fine in school. Darry would of probably went to college if it was not for the passing of his parents. He
gave up a lot, but he knew he had to watch out for his brothers. Darry became the guardian over the
boys ensuring that the family had reinforcement.
Correspondingly, Darry wants the most suiting life for his brothers even though Ponyboy viewed it as
Darry nagging at him. In the book, Ponyboy says, Darry did care about me, maybe as much as he
cared about Soda, and because he cared he was trying too hard to make something of me. ( Hinton 98)
The Curtis brothers were all together again following Pony and Johnny running away. Soda and Darry
go to the hospital to see Pony and Darry actually cries. Ponyboy realizes that Darry does not hate him.

Gods and Generals The American Civil War was a military conflict between the United States of
America (the Union), and 11 secessionist Southern states, organized as the Confederate States of
America (the Confederacy). It was the culmination of four decades of intense sectional conflict and it
reflected deep seated economic, social, and political differences between the North and the South.
Many books have been written on this first modern war describing how over 620,000 men were killed.

The Definition Of The Art And Science Of Nursing
The Art and Science of Nursing Nursing is art and science, carried out by nurses of all ages and
backgrounds who all bring their own personal and professional experience and beliefs. The nursing
profession was built on a foundation of art and science and both must be embraced. I will be
explaining my definition of the concepts of the art and the science of nursing and the aspect that drew
me into the profession personally. Two TED talks will also be discussed about what I feel are their
common themes and how those themes relate to nursing.
The Art of Nursing The art of nursing is the compassion and care nurses put into their care daily with
the major focus being the patient. It is therapeutic communication that conveys the message with
respect, empathy, and understanding. It is being a strong advocate, compassionate care giver and a
great listener. The art of nursing also means to be aware. Knowing when your patient needs something
without them having to verbally express those needs, including both physical and emotional needs. In
my daily practice, I exhibit the use of the art of nursing by genuinely caring for my patients, not only
administering medications, and performing other scheduled tasks, but taking the time to get to know
them. I strive to learn at least one thing about each patient I care for that has nothing to do with their
illness. Taking care of a patient s emotional needs is as important as caring for their physical needs.

What Were The Primary Reasons For The Fall Of Rome
What were the primary reasons for the fall of Rome? Here are some of the three main reasons why the
Roman Empire fell, and the causes of this fall. To start of with in the second year of the reign of Valens
in 366 ce a disaster happened..an earthquake came upon the roman empire and destroyed numerous
amounts of cities. But the roman empire was not prepared for this earthquake, this caused many
deaths. Also shores were left dry in the mediterranean but then the tide returned very soon with the
weight of a flood which returned on the coasts of Sicily,Greece, and Egypt, all of this caused over fifty
thousand deaths in the city of Alexandria. After that then plagues swept over the empire which brought

The Tax Rate Is Fair
Although many Americans, who do not know what a flat tax rate is, think that the current tax rate is
fair, let us look at two different situations and then reconsider. There is a man, John Waters, who is the
CEO of a large company and he makes an average of $570,000 annually. Making this amount, John is
forced to pay thirty five percent of his income to the government in taxes, leaving him with $370,500
to support his family of five. With his remaining balance he would be eligible to be placed in the tax
bracket under the one he s in currently and reduce the percentage of his income that he is forced to pay
in taxes. On the other hand, you have another gentleman, Josh Anderson, who is a common salesman
for Coca Cola that makes $165,000 a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In a flat rate system, all are equal in the eyes of wealth and what they owe the government meaning
that everyone no matter their occupation would pay the same percentage of their annual income in
taxes, creating a fair and just system. Therefore, there should be a change in the way that the United
States does taxes. It should be changed to a flat tax rate, with a negotiable percent set at the beginning
of each election, verses the current taxing tactic of the tax brackets.
Even though the flat tax rate has not existed in the United States in a while, it has made a comeback,
so to speak, over the last couple of years boosting the economies of many other countries. The Baltic
countries of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania have had flat tax rates of twenty four percent, twenty five
percent, and thirty three percent in place since the early to mid 1990 s. Then on January 1st, 2001 a
thirteen percent flat tax rate on personal income was placed into action in Russia, with Ukraine
following their lead and imposing a thirteen percent tax rate on personal income in 2003. Later in
2007, Slovakia introduced a seventeen percent tax rate for almost all of their taxes including corporate
tax, personal income tax, and VAT. There have been many more countries that have followed in Russia
s footsteps but the United States has yet to place it into action. It has been

The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints Essay
Individuals who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints are taught gender is
an essential characteristic of an individual premortal, mortal, and eternal identity and purpose. (The
Family Proclamation to the World) American society teaches through media, that males are to be
aggressive, and females are to be submissive. Society teaches individuals to stuff males and females
into confining and suppressive boxes, where males are meant to be domineering and females are
sexual objects and marriage is disposable. It s such a stark contrast the difference between how those
of the faithful LDS families are raised when compared to those who have been integrated into the
beliefs of society. Children who are raised to view society as the correct way, are taken into a highly
stereotypical, and deceptive world.
American society views the acceptable man as being controlling and domineering, whereas the
acceptable and desirable woman s purpose is to cater to the man, physically and sexually. Females are
nearly always stripped down (often literally) to what lies at their core, their essential, biological
womanliness, their essential subordinate position to man. (Byerly, Carolyn, Ross 26) When women
are portrayed in such a way, individuals begin to be dissatisfied with themselves, as well as with the
ones they are intimate with, comparing them to the impossible standards of society. While attempting
to appease the opposite sex, then they aren t being true to their

Database
Database is defined as a set of related data in many tables and uses links through something called
foreign keys. In a Database product you can create and modify several databases.
DBMS
It stands for Database Management System, it is a concept of rules that all the latest and major
database systems follow. So most databases systems follow these rules but some only follow specific
rules.
To summarize, a database is an organized data collection or information that happens to be easily
accessible, changed or updated. A DBMS is a type of software that may manage and control databases
on a PC.

Analysis Of One Abstains From Dangerous Acts By Ernest Van...
Every person have different traits along with their different feelings. But sometimes feelings like fear
can change their minds. It is a natural fact that whenever a person flashback with tensed past memory,
fear will arise in their minds, And same conditions appear when a person is about to kill someone but
unfortunately, a criminal finishes his/her infraction. Ernest van den Haag who was an American
sociologist and writer once said in his article One abstains from dangerous acts because of vague,
inchoate (beginner), habitual and, above all, preconscious fears . This shows how it allows future

Love In A Midsummer Night s Dream Essay
In William Shakespeare s A Midsummer Night s Dream, the concept of love is explored as a foolish
and quite silly thing, with exaggeration and imagery used to display the ridiculousness of the whole
thing. It makes good use of reversed Shakespearean love quadrangles, interchangeable love interests,
faerie magic, and metaphors for the blindness of love to weave a wonderful satire of the silliest of
mortal concepts.
We start by observing the dynamic between Lysander, Demetrius, Hermia, and Helena. At the start of
the play, both Lysander and Demetrius are in love with Hermia. Hermia is in love with Lysander, and
Helena, oft forgotten, is in love with Demetrius. After some faerie trickery and love magic, however,
both men are suddenly in love with ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Many a student reading this play complain of not being able to tell the two women apart. Their names
are quite similar, and there is little to distinguish one from the other in character as well. In the
beginning, and in the end, the love quadrangle is nearly identical, differing only by three letters.
Thus, the entire affair is absurd and pointless and therein lies the comedy. Next, let us talk about the
affair between Bottom and Titania. Titania is the Queen of the Faeries, a most important figure, and
the partner of the Faerie King Oberon. Oberon is jealous of a particular Indian boy of Titania s, but she
won t just give him up. So he sends Puck out to drug Titania with love potion, so when she awakes she
ll fall in love with the first thing she sees, no matter how horrid. Then, Puck goes a wandering, and
finds an enterprising young thespian, with the unfortunate name of Bottom, and wryly decides to give
him the head of a donkey. The pun is not lost on many readers. When Titania awakes, she sees a
monstrous creature, a human man with the head of an ass...and falls deeply in love with him. Methinks

Liberal Democracy And The Constitutional System
Liberal democracy is a form of government that operates under a constitutional system and is ruled by
the electorate. The government is representative of the people and regular elections are held. It calls
for the freedoms that are stated in America s first amendment freedom of press, speech, religion, and
assembly. This political ideology has been apart of history. Patriots, such as our founding fathers and
Patrick Henry, were willing to risk their lives in order to achieve freedom from an oppressive
monarchial government. They risked everything in order to have a shot at individual freedoms and
basic human rights such as life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The most important claims of
liberal democracy are a representative government, a limited government, the separation of powers,
and property rights. These claims will be assessed from a biblical perspective (and further expounded
upon). A representative government is a key aspect of liberal democracy. Since the power to elect a
leader to a political office rests with the people, those in office have an obligation to honor those
voices accurately. An active and responsive government body can be very productive. Not only will it
create a strong nation, but citizens have the potential to be highly satisfied with their work. Anarchy is
less likely to occur. The Bible discusses the process of starting a representative government in

Corporate Tax Rate And Its Effects On The United States
Phillip Fok

Apple owes 14.5 billion in back taxes to Ireland
On Tuesday, August 30 the European Union ordered Ireland to collect 14.5 billion in taxes from apple.
Europe s competition enforcer said that apple s deal with the Irish allowed the company to pay
basically nothing on its business. This deal allowed apple to pay only 50 euros for every million euros
in profit in 2014. However, Ireland s corporate tax rate is at 12.5% and is one of the lowest in the
developed world. This low tax rate is a huge incentive for companies to cut down on their expenses.

The Fifth Wave tells a tale about the slow inhalation of the Earth. A group of supernatural, intelligent
beings, the Others , plans to invade Earth in five attacks. These attacks basically take away all the
basic necessities humans need to survive, such as electricity, food, and water. The Fifth Wave first
originated as a novel trilogy written by Rick Yancey. Along with other popular young adult science
fiction novels such as The Hunger Games trilogy and the Divergent trilogy, the novel is later made
into a film. The film had one director, J Blakeson, three screenplay writers, Susannah Grant, Akiva
Goldsman and Jeff Pinkner, and four producers, Tobey Maguire, Graham King, Tim Headington and
Matthew Plouffe. The leading character within The Fifth Wave is a normal high school student, Cassie
Sullivan. Cassie is portrayed by actress Chloe Grace Mortez. Cassie is first introduced at a high school
party which demonstrated the normalcy in her life along with other aspects. This includes her mother
and father, her younger brother Sammy (portrayed by Zackary Arthur), best friend Liz and high school

Native American Sign Language Very basic, elementary and logical characteristics made the Native

Many Indians with college and university training can speak better English than they can sign talk.
Native American Sign Language was the first universal language produced by people. Every record of
the landing of Columbus on North American soil, tells of how he and his group communicated with
the Indians using sign language. The same is also true of other explorers that came to this country.
Lewis and Clark communicated successfully with the tribes of the west during their exploration
efforts. In the 17th century, the language of sign was so well understood throughout the western part
of the country that there was little difficulty in conversations being carried on between tribes, traders,
and mountain men. They could easily communicate with one another, even though neither understood
a word of the other s dialect at that time.
Basic Native American sign language is easy to learn; it is much easier to learn Indian signing than it
is to learn a spoken language. The combination of meaning and movement in signing, allows you to
learn the meaning of a gesture, while you visualize the movement. One important factor to remember
is that eighty five percent of the Native American Sign Language was done with the right hand; this
system kept the communication process very simple
Some very simple signs are easily commanded

There are many similarities between the constitution and the principles of the Iroquois. Researchers
Vine Deloraia, Bruce Johnson, and Donald Grind have found that the very foundation of both sets of
principles mirror each other (Johansen 1998:79): life, liberty, and happiness (Declaration of
Independence); government by reason and consent rather than coercion (Albany Plan and Articles of
Confederation); religious tolerance (and ultimately religious acceptance) instead of a state church;
checks and balances; federalism (U.S. Constitution); and relative equality of property, equal rights
before the law, and the thorny problem of creating a government that can rule equitably across a broad
geographic expanse (Bill of Rights of the United States Constitution).
Native America had a substantial role in shaping all of these ideas. (Payne 1996:607, quoting Grinde
and Johansen, Exemplars of Liberty, xx)
Further, Johansen found that Franklin was using quotes from the Onondaga and advising Americans in
their ill feeling towards England:
Our wise ancestors established union and amity between the five nations. This has made us
formidable. This has given us great weight and authority with our neighboring nations. We are a

The Constitution Is Fundamental Law Of The United States...
A) The US Constitution is fundamental law of the United States, and in the present, it is composed of
seven articles and twenty seven amendments. The three things I like most about the US constitution
are the 1st Amendment, the 10th Amendment, and separation of power. The 1st Amendment are
composed of two clause which are establishment clause and free exercise clause. It provides a
freedom of speech, assembly, religion and press. Those basic rights are given to people, and it shouldn
t threaten by government. Each individual should be respected and treated. The second one is the 10th
Amendment which is some power is granted to the state called reserved power. By states have some
power, it is easily to manage own states because individual states has different ideas, and values. In
addition, it is hard to set the same law in each states because of the population differences and
religious differences. In addition, it can prevent national government has too much power over the
state power. The third thing I like about the US constitution is separation of power. By separating
power within Executive, Judicial, and Legislative, it can prevent to have too much power in one
branch. In addition, by separating power, each of branch can check another branch. As a result, they
can balance each other. B) The Japanese constitution is composed of 11 chapters, and 103 articles. It

Negative Effects Of Technology In Family Life
It is now possible to earn a college degree from home. Making it possible for anyone to attend a
college that could not make it to a campus in person. Most Universities and colleges offer degree
programs that can be earned online. Students can fit school into their schedules easier because course
material is available anywhere at any time (Irby Li, 2008). In the past, it was challenging for people,
especially older adults, to fit college into their busy schedules. People that had full time jobs and
families just did not have the time to fit college into their busy lives, even if they wanted to.
Technology has allowed people to work towards a college degree while working full time and caring
for their families. Some jobs offer incentives for their employees to return to college, which can help
them advance in their career; therefore earning more money. Older college students are finding this
method of college more attractive over the traditional campus classes, which is an incredible benefit
for people and their families. People are now able to keep in contact with people through social media
sites and text messaging. The negative impacts are often discussed how technology has interfered in
family life, but there are positive benefits to families, too. A recent study revealed that the majority of
families feel that technology has affected their relationships in positive ways (McDaniel Coyne,

similar. They are a leader and also a role model for many people. Forrest was born in a small town of
Chapel Hill in Tennessee. He was born into a very poor family with no education. All he learned when
he was growing up as a child was hunting, tracking, and survival skills. Lincoln on the other hand was
not any better. He was born and raised in a log cabin and also faced so many difficulties growing up.
Lincoln s brother died when he was very young, his mother also died from an illness, then his sister
from a childbirth. Lincoln also suffered from depression many times throughout his life. Yet, these two
men are indeed very encouraging to the people of America. Lincoln set his goal to change the country
in a way anyone would have never tried. He had his goal to end slavery and also took action against

The Ten Most Beautiful Experiments Summary
The Ten Most Beautiful Experiments

Lawrenceville, Ga 30043 lblay@ggc.edu The Ten Most Beautiful Experiments covers the most
captivating experiences that have shown an enormous impact on modern science today. Johnson
brings these experiments to life by taking his readers on scientific trip. The book featured scientist
such as Galileo, Isaac Newton, Ivan Pavlov, William Harvey, and Luigi Galvani. And these are a few
from Johnson selection.
The first chapter introduces Galileo as someone who wanted to understand how things moved around

Pavlov was a well known surgeon in Europe. In his early years he wanted to become a priest but
discovered Charles Darwin whom changed his life. With his new calling in science, Pavlov began to
work with animals especially dogs. He was fascinated by dogs and even gave them names. Johnson
states that Pavlov felt the need to save the dogs from being slaughter for foods or hunted for personal
reasons. In his most remarkable experiment, Pavlov used a bell to train the dogs to salivate. Naturally,
dogs salivate when they eat to help them swallow food. This is known as the unconditioned response
because it is happening automatically. A few trials later, the dog associates the ringing bell with food.
This is known as the conditioned stimulus because the dog finally learned to associate the ring of the
bell with food. Unconditioned stimulus happens when the dog salivates from eating. From now on
every time the bell rings, the dog thought it was going to get food because that is what the dog has
become used to. Immediately, the dog begins salivating by just hearing the ringing bell whether the
dog saw any food or not. This is called a conditioned response, because the dog salivates by learning
to associate the bell ringing with food. Pavlov simply studied reflexes, automatic behavior that is
caused by a stimulus from the environment. According to Johnson, during the experiment Pavlov
rarely used the bell. Later in his life, Pavlov was giving an album with all the photographs of his dogs
by his students. Also in 1935, he was honored with a statue called a monument to a dog. On top of the
statue there was a water fountain which symbolizes the dog

An Holistic Impact A Premature Baby Within The Neonatal...
Throughout this essay I will be discussing the holistic impact a premature baby within the neonatal
units has on not only the child but also the immediate family. There are many health issues which can
affect the child but also other issues including attachment to the mother which can also have a long
term effect on the child. This can also influence the family as there may be financial implications on
the family due to these extra unexpected costs. Throughout this essay I will be discussing these topics
in detail. The health issue which I have chosen is the health of premature babies who are within the
care of the neonatal units. I chose this topic as it something which has interested me for a long time as
throughout the years of my research I have noticed a trend within preterm babies and their survival
rate which is something I would like to see change. In babies born preterm, the chance of survival at
less than 23 weeks is close to zero, while at 23 weeks it is 15%, at 24 weeks 55% and at 25 weeks
about 80%. (Tommy s 2016). Furthermore, I also chose this topic due to my own experiences within a
neonatal unit and seeing how it affected my health and my own family s life throughout my time
within there. Furthermore, the multi agency working within this unit and how everyone involved with
the child is something what interests me as it is vital that the mother feels supported throughout this
period. Good team working is in the interests of the woman or baby (Nursing and

John Stuart Mill Is A Man Essay
John Stuart Mill is a man that has been immortalized by the public as both a genius, and a man before
his own time. He has made countless contributions to philosophy, ethics, economics, and politics; he
was a man not afraid to speak his mind, often to a candour level that become expected of Mill s works
(Browne 274). This frankness became attached to Mill s, as he was typically swift and cunning in the
disablement of opposing views and logical backing of his own. However, because of this, and his
often debated stances, Mill often faced scrutiny over his beliefs, from authors such as Matthew
Browne. His opponents were often quick to say how much it pains them to argue against Mill s point
of view. As Browne said, To any one who regards the genius and character of Mr. Mill with such
serious homage as the writer of these lines, it is a task of peculiar difficulty, and also a considerable
pain, to express, and especially to express in public, strong though qualified dissent from his opinions
upon an important question (Browne 273). However, before we indulge into both the greatness and
questioning of Mill s work it is important to understand how this man came to be. I remember one day
asking my father why it was that he pushed me so hard and seemed to always expect the best out of
me. Upon saying this I saw a softness enter his eyes, one that I had seen before, but in some way one
that made me feel sadden as I suddenly saw the age enter his face. I knew he was going to say

How Did Marilyn Monroe Impact Society
Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius and it s better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely
boring ( Marilyn Monroe Quotes ). Marilyn Monroe had many hardships throughout her life. For
example, living in multiple different foster homes and having troubles with three marriages but was
still able to have a positive look on her life most of the time. She was an inspiration to be proud and
happy with who you are. Marilyn Monroe had many struggles throughout her life but found the
strength to overcome them and have a pretty large impact on society.
Marilyn Monroe grew up as a very lonely child due to her mother s mental illness and living in foster

became very depressed soon after Marilyn was born and was institutionalized, sending Marilyn into
her first foster home ( Modern American Poetry 1). Albert and Ida Bolender were Marilyn s first set of
foster parents, and she lived with them the first seven years of her life ( Modern American Poetry 1).

Marilyn played in multiple movies, in which she accidently created a dumb blonde character for
herself, and she did not like or want to be perceived as the dumb blonde so she started reading and
writing more (Monroe viii ix). Marilyn was a self educated women who had overcame a debilitating
stutter, dyslexia, and severe stage fright to become an international Hollywood icon ( New
Biography... 1). When Marilyn became very sad, and depressed while living with her second husband
she decided enough was enough and that she was going or start taking care of herself (Monroe 127).
Starting tomorrow I will take care of myself for that s all I really have and as I see it now have ever

  • 2. Should College Should Be Not Free For College Students Over the years there has been the question whether college should be completely free for all college students. Just this year the excelsior scholarship was introduced in which eligible college students can attend a SUNY or CUNY college tuition free (Higher Education Services Corporation). The other ways to get partially or completely free college tuition is through the programs of financial aid, opportunity programs and scholarships. All of these programs help make college cheaper in order to make it easier for students to pursue a career. The issue with all of these offers is that not every students is eligible for these programs. This hardship to afford a college career guides them to their last and final resource, a student loan. According to the Federal Student Aid a loan is borrowed money from the government that must be payed back with interest (U.S Department of education). These loans can take up many years to pay back even many years after the student has received their college diploma. For college students a loan is the last option they have in order to be able to stay in college, the majority when they are faced with this option they prefer to drop out because they cannot afford to pay. The government should take the proposal into consideration of making public college education free for all college students. Because of the degree of respect Snelgraves had, Cocklyn not often seeing a government captain holding such admiration from a crew offered him a new ship and profits from a captured slave ship for his return to England. This story really caught my attention because of the level of hospitality pirates show to a captain who held such respect with his own crew. The life of a sea faring man during the early 18th century was a grueling way of work. Student behavior and discipline in the classroom have been impacted by legislation and litigation as was discussed in an article written by Mitchell Yell and Michael Rozalski, The Impact of Legislation and Litigation on Disciple and Student Behavior in the Classroom. The authors believe that all students should receive their education in safe, orderly, and well disciplined schools but maintaining these environments has become a major challenge for educators (Yell, M Rozalski, M, 2008). Most states have laws that govern discipline in schools which also protect the rights of students in public education (Yell, et.al, 2008). These state laws control the actions of school officials when they carry out certain discipline related functions, such as gathering evidence (e.g., searching students, their lockers, or their personal property), seizing contraband from students backpacks, or conducting any administrative actions that restrict a student s property interest to attend school (e.g., suspension, expulsion) (Yell, et.al, 2008). Psychology Of Religion Ludwig Feuerbach and Sigmund Freud were similar in that both were reductionists who saw God as somewhat of a false projection of the human mind, so both offer a psychology of religion, but that is also the ending of their similarities. Feuerbach, for example, saw religion as the consciousness of God being merely the projection of self consciousness; as Feuerbach puts it, Such as are a man s thought and dispositions, such is his God (Feuerbach, p.139). And Feuerbach found that studying religion was beneficial to understanding humankind and did not need to be destroyed or dismantled, which is why he proposed the idea that Theology is Anthropology (Feuerbach, p.141). Self consciousness to God consciousness is an idea in which one projects their values and ideals onto the created deity in order to give oneself a moral guideline to live up to, theoretically. And while in most religions it may not be the individual s moral ideals, but those adopted from the religion they are surrounded by or have chosen to ascribe themselves, the same general idea would still apply as it would be the collective projecting of the self consciousness into God consciousness. While Feuerbach does not necessarily see a benefit to following any religions and believing in any god or gods, he does not decide to call for there to be an end to such deities or religions, as he does not see any harm stemming from the belief in them; rather, he believes that religious gods give a way of studying the people that worship them. The idea of studying a religion to understand the people that follow or believe said religion is a concept that Feuerbach coined as Theology is anthropology (Feuerbach, p. 141). • 19. The Definition Of The Art And Science Of Nursing The Art and Science of Nursing Nursing is art and science, carried out by nurses of all ages and backgrounds who all bring their own personal and professional experience and beliefs. The nursing profession was built on a foundation of art and science and both must be embraced. I will be explaining my definition of the concepts of the art and the science of nursing and the aspect that drew me into the profession personally. Two TED talks will also be discussed about what I feel are their common themes and how those themes relate to nursing. The Art of Nursing The art of nursing is the compassion and care nurses put into their care daily with the major focus being the patient. It is therapeutic communication that conveys the message with respect, empathy, and understanding. It is being a strong advocate, compassionate care giver and a great listener. The art of nursing also means to be aware. Knowing when your patient needs something without them having to verbally express those needs, including both physical and emotional needs. In my daily practice, I exhibit the use of the art of nursing by genuinely caring for my patients, not only administering medications, and performing other scheduled tasks, but taking the time to get to know them. I strive to learn at least one thing about each patient I care for that has nothing to do with their illness. Taking care of a patient s emotional needs is as important as caring for their physical needs. The Science of Nursing ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

There is a man, John Waters, who is the CEO of a large company and he makes an average of $570,000 annually. Making this amount, John is forced to pay thirty five percent of his income to the government in taxes, leaving him with $370,500 to support his family of five. With his remaining balance he would be eligible to be placed in the tax bracket under the one he s in currently and reduce the percentage of his income that he is forced to pay in taxes. In a flat rate system, all are equal in the eyes of wealth and what they owe the government meaning that everyone no matter their occupation would pay the same percentage of their annual income in taxes, creating a fair and just system. Therefore, there should be a change in the way that the United States does taxes. It should be changed to a flat tax rate, with a negotiable percent set at the beginning of each election, verses the current taxing tactic of the tax brackets. Even though the flat tax rate has not existed in the United States in a while, it has made a comeback, so to speak, over the last couple of years boosting the economies of many other countries. The Baltic countries of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania have had flat tax rates of twenty four percent, twenty five percent, and thirty three percent in place since the early to mid 1990 s. Then on January 1st, 2001 a thirteen percent flat tax rate on personal income was placed into action in Russia, with Ukraine following their lead and imposing a thirteen percent tax rate on personal income in 2003. • 23. The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints Essay Individuals who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints are taught gender is an essential characteristic of an individual premortal, mortal, and eternal identity and purpose. (The Family Proclamation to the World) American society teaches through media, that males are to be aggressive, and females are to be submissive. Society teaches individuals to stuff males and females into confining and suppressive boxes, where males are meant to be domineering and females are sexual objects and marriage is disposable. It s such a stark contrast the difference between how those of the faithful LDS families are raised when compared to those who have been integrated into the beliefs of society. Children who are raised to view society as the correct way, are taken into a highly stereotypical, and deceptive world. American society views the acceptable man as being controlling and domineering, whereas the acceptable and desirable woman s purpose is to cater to the man, physically and sexually. Females are nearly always stripped down (often literally) to what lies at their core, their essential, biological womanliness, their essential subordinate position to man. (Byerly, Carolyn, Ross 26) When women are portrayed in such a way, individuals begin to be dissatisfied with themselves, as well as with the ones they are intimate with, comparing them to the impossible standards of society. Love In A Midsummer Night s Dream Essay In William Shakespeare s A Midsummer Night s Dream, the concept of love is explored as a foolish and quite silly thing, with exaggeration and imagery used to display the ridiculousness of the whole thing. It makes good use of reversed Shakespearean love quadrangles, interchangeable love interests, faerie magic, and metaphors for the blindness of love to weave a wonderful satire of the silliest of mortal concepts. We start by observing the dynamic between Lysander, Demetrius, Hermia, and Helena. At the start of the play, both Lysander and Demetrius are in love with Hermia. Oberon is jealous of a particular Indian boy of Titania s, but she won t just give him up. • 28. Liberal Democracy And The Constitutional System Liberal democracy is a form of government that operates under a constitutional system and is ruled by the electorate. The government is representative of the people and regular elections are held. It calls for the freedoms that are stated in America s first amendment freedom of press, speech, religion, and assembly. This political ideology has been apart of history. Patriots, such as our founding fathers and Patrick Henry, were willing to risk their lives in order to achieve freedom from an oppressive monarchial government. They risked everything in order to have a shot at individual freedoms and basic human rights such as life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The most important claims of liberal democracy are a representative government, a limited government, the separation of powers, and property rights. These claims will be assessed from a biblical perspective (and further expounded upon). A representative government is a key aspect of liberal democracy. Since the power to elect a leader to a political office rests with the people, those in office have an obligation to honor those voices accurately. An active and responsive government body can be very productive. Not only will it create a strong nation, but citizens have the potential to be highly satisfied with their work. Anarchy is less likely to occur. The Bible discusses the process of starting a representative government in Deuteronomy 1. In Deuteronomy 1:13 17 (NRSV) it says, Choose for each of your ... In the 17th century, the language of sign was so well understood throughout the western part of the country that there was little difficulty in conversations being carried on between tribes, traders, and mountain men. They could easily communicate with one another, even though neither understood a word of the other s dialect at that time. Researchers Vine Deloraia, Bruce Johnson, and Donald Grind have found that the very foundation of both sets of principles mirror each other (Johansen 1998:79): life, liberty, and happiness (Declaration of Independence); government by reason and consent rather than coercion (Albany Plan and Articles of Confederation); religious tolerance (and ultimately religious acceptance) instead of a state church; checks and balances; federalism (U.S. Constitution); and relative equality of property, equal rights before the law, and the thorny problem of creating a government that can rule equitably across a broad geographic expanse (Bill of Rights of the United States Constitution). Native America had a substantial role in shaping all of these ideas. The 1st Amendment are composed of two clause which are establishment clause and free exercise clause. It provides a freedom of speech, assembly, religion and press. Those basic rights are given to people, and it shouldn t threaten by government. Each individual should be respected and treated. The second one is the 10th Amendment which is some power is granted to the state called reserved power. With his new calling in science, Pavlov began to work with animals especially dogs. He was fascinated by dogs and even gave them names. Johnson states that Pavlov felt the need to save the dogs from being slaughter for foods or hunted for personal reasons. In his most remarkable experiment, Pavlov used a bell to train the dogs to salivate. Naturally, dogs salivate when they eat to help them swallow food. This is known as the unconditioned response because it is happening automatically. A few trials later, the dog associates the ringing bell with food. This is known as the conditioned stimulus because the dog finally learned to associate the ring of the bell with food. Unconditioned stimulus happens when the dog salivates from eating. From now on every time the bell rings, the dog thought it was going to get food because that is what the dog has become used to. Immediately, the dog begins salivating by just hearing the ringing bell whether the dog saw any food or not. This is called a conditioned response, because the dog salivates by learning to associate the bell ringing with food. Pavlov simply studied reflexes, automatic behavior that is caused by a stimulus from the environment. According to Johnson, during the experiment Pavlov rarely used the bell. Later in his life, Pavlov was giving an album with all the photographs of his dogs by his students. Also in 1935, he was honored with a statue called a monument to a dog. • 42. An Holistic Impact A Premature Baby Within The Neonatal... Throughout this essay I will be discussing the holistic impact a premature baby within the neonatal units has on not only the child but also the immediate family. There are many health issues which can affect the child but also other issues including attachment to the mother which can also have a long term effect on the child. This can also influence the family as there may be financial implications on the family due to these extra unexpected costs. Throughout this essay I will be discussing these topics in detail. The health issue which I have chosen is the health of premature babies who are within the care of the neonatal units. I chose this topic as it something which has interested me for a long time as throughout the years of my research I have noticed a trend within preterm babies and their survival rate which is something I would like to see change. In babies born preterm, the chance of survival at less than 23 weeks is close to zero, while at 23 weeks it is 15%, at 24 weeks 55% and at 25 weeks about 80%. (Tommy s 2016). Furthermore, I also chose this topic due to my own experiences within a neonatal unit and seeing how it affected my health and my own family s life throughout my time within there. Furthermore, the multi agency working within this unit and how everyone involved with the child is something what interests me as it is vital that the mother feels supported throughout this period. Good team working is in the interests of the woman or baby (Nursing and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 43. John Stuart Mill Is A Man Essay John Stuart Mill is a man that has been immortalized by the public as both a genius, and a man before his own time. He has made countless contributions to philosophy, ethics, economics, and politics; he was a man not afraid to speak his mind, often to a candour level that become expected of Mill s works (Browne 274). This frankness became attached to Mill s, as he was typically swift and cunning in the disablement of opposing views and logical backing of his own. However, because of this, and his often debated stances, Mill often faced scrutiny over his beliefs, from authors such as Matthew Browne. His opponents were often quick to say how much it pains them to argue against Mill s point of view. As Browne said, To any one who regards the genius and character of Mr. Mill with such serious homage as the writer of these lines, it is a task of peculiar difficulty, and also a considerable pain, to express, and especially to express in public, strong though qualified dissent from his opinions upon an important question (Browne 273). However, before we indulge into both the greatness and questioning of Mill s work it is important to understand how this man came to be. I remember one day asking my father why it was that he pushed me so hard and seemed to always expect the best out of me. Upon saying this I saw a softness enter his eyes, one that I had seen before, but in some way one that made me feel sadden as I suddenly saw the age enter his face. I knew he was going to say ...
