It seems like the younger the child is they will exhibit a higher level of emotional and psychological
distress then what an older child will. People who commit domestic violence against one another with
a child or children present never think of the outcome and how it will affect the child or children. If
these children continue to see all of this domestic violence especially if it is a young boy, they may

REVIEW OF LITERATURE:
Sugar is a highly concentrated in sugar cane sugar beets. Sugar is mainly used to sweeten food and to
prevent micro organisms from growing and spoiling food. Salt is a mineral composed of sodium
chloride. Its a crystallized mineral from rock salt and halite. Salts main usage is for cooking,cleaning,
and many health uses. While doing this project we discovered that 99.95 % of sugar is pure sucrose.
Although salt is used for cooking it is also used for cleaning. The ocean has 35grams of salt per liter

RESULTS:
The end result of our project was that the salt formed a crystal before sugar did. On day seven the
crystal formation was 2 ½ inches for salt. For sugar it took ten days until it reached 2 ½ inches.
Although the crystals did not form on the stick because we messed up it formed around the container
therefore that is how we measured the growth.

Stage 1 of the mechanism of nitration
As the NO2+ ion approached the delocalised electrons in the benzene, those electrons were strongly
attracted toward the positive charge.
Two electrons from the delocalised system were used to form a new bond with the NO2+ ion. Because
those two electrons aren t a part of the delocalised system any longer, the delocalisation was partly
broken, and in the process the ring gained a positive charge.

The second stage involved a hydrogensulphate ion, HSO4 , which was produced at the same time as
the NO2+ ion. This removed a hydrogen from the ring to form sulphuric acid the catalyst had
therefore been regenerated. The electrons which originally joined the hydrogen to the ring were now
used to re establish the delocalised system.

For concert essay 2, I have went with an online concert. I have chosen the concert at Alpine Valley,
where the Grateful Dead performed July 7, 1989. This is a historic venue for the Grateful Dead and
the Deadheads, because this was an atmosphere that always seemed to be far more electric than most.
Although the Grateful Dead was a great live act throughout the entire existence of the band, many of
the band members admit during the 89 90 tours, they were at their best. To open the concert, the band
members claim the stage to a roaring crowd, particularly focused upon Jerry Garcia. With very little
preparation time, the band jumped right into their first song, without hesitation. This stood out to me
because all of the concerts I have seen live, they ll spend quite some time tuning, and chatting up the
crowd. This crowd sure did not need the pep talk, because of the virve already presented by the crowd.
The opening song was Let the Good Times Roll. With this song as an opening and a more prominent

The Human Walking Gait Cycle
Exoskeletons and orthoses are defined as mechanical devices worn by an operator and fitted closely to
the body to work in concert with the operator s movements. The term exoskeleton is used to describe a
device that augments the wearers performance, while the term orthosis is used to describe a device
used to assist a person with limb pathology. Lower extremity exoskeletons seek to circumvent the
limitations of autonomous legged robots by adding a human operator to the system. The system is
designed in parallel with human limbs to augment human strength and endurance during locomotion.
The basic system design consists of two powered anthropomorphic legs, a power unit, associated
actuators, sensors, and a control unit.
When designing exoskeletons it is necessary to understand the biomechanics of human walking. The
human walking gait cycle is represented on a scale of 0% to 100% and includes several notable phases
shown in Figure 1. The structure of a human leg contains total of 7 Degrees of Freedom (DOF) with
three rotational DOFs located at the hip, one at the knee and three at the ankle. Degrees of Freedom
are directional factors that affect the range of independent motion in a system. Biomechanical
measures of level ground walking at the hip, knee, and ankle are shown in Figure 2. The power
requirement curves display the general power fluctuation for the hip as positive or near zero, the knee

Silver Raindrop Monologue
I still remember the dreadful day of pain, seared into my memory for all of eternity. The salty smell of
blood filled the dark and smoky air. Gunshots rang through the air, echoing through the trees; yet the
white flag flew high above us. Bullets rained from the sky knocking leaves and needles from the tree
limbs and cut perfect circles through our tepees. An infant cried out hidden in the blood of his dead

When you go to the grocery store and pick up a yogurt, some containers stated live, active cultures .
What does live, active cultures mean? Does it mean that there is living bacteria in the yogurt? Isn t
that harmful? Some bacteria can make you sick, but are important because they help your body fight
off the bad bacteria.
Problem Statement: But how do we really now that there are bacteria or microorganisms in our
yogurt? How many colonies of bacteria growth is in yogurts? Does it vary from different flavors?
