  1. 1. MusicMagazineMastheadFont.
  2. 2. The Block capitals makes the font easy to read and in your face.It also has a distressed effect which is typical of a rock magazineand is the type of look the audience would expect. However thefont is very uniform and ordered which goes against therebellious ideas of rock music.
  3. 3. The use of different fonts makes it eye-catching and different to conventional mastheads. Also it works well with the rock concept of being rebels. However because of the mix offonts and size it is harder to read.
  4. 4. The initial look of the mast head is uniform, bold and easy to read. The same asmost conventional mastheads , however the font has a decorative pattern ofnumbers running through the letters. This makes the font more unique andinteresting though still having the advantages of conventional mastheads.

  6. 6. The font is block and bold, therefore easy to read. Also the font is fairly uniformthough is slightly wavy. The style of the font is of a old billboard and movietheatre lettering. This makes the font more interesting and should appeal to myaudience.
  7. 7. The initial look of the mast head is uniform, bold and easy to read. The sameas most conventional mastheads. However the gloss leather look goes withthe rock look perfectly and is the type of thing my audience would expect.
  8. 8. This font is more soft and stylised than conventional mastheads. It is easy to read anduniform. However the slight messy and distressed style does give the font amodern, rocky, stylised look
  9. 9. The font uses a broken look on the conventional style of a masthead. Thissuited perfectly the style and conventions of the rock music world and wouldbe the type of masthead the audience would expect to see.
