Ms. Earby graduated from high school and university in Mississippi and is furthering her education. She was born in Morton, MS and has a young son. Her classroom rules require students to be on time, bring materials, raise hands, and show respect. Procedures include entering quietly, sharpening pencils beforehand, asking permission to leave, and lining up during drills. Students will learn reading, language, writing and speaking skills. She expects students to do their best, be prepared, and engage in lessons to make it an awesome year.

Entering the Classroom
1. I will great you at the door.
2. Place homework in the homework basket.
3. Sit quietly and begin bell work.

Sharpening Pencils:
1. Sharpen two pencils at the beginning of class.
You will not be able to interrupt class to sharpen
pencils
2. Do not bring a hand held sharpener. It causes
distractions.

Leaving the Classroom:
1. Raise your hand and ask for permission to leave the
class.
2. You will be given a hall pass.
3. Walk quietly in the hallway.
(We will go to the restroom as a class. There should not
be a need to leave the room unless it is an emergency.)

Fire, Tornado and 911drills/emergencies:
 Fire: Line up quietly and follow the teacher out of the building.
 Tornado: Line up quietly along side of the hallway wall on your knees,
hand over your head.
 911: Quietly go to the back of the classroom away from windows and
doors.
