2. Rules for sitting on the carpet
Sit like a pretzel (unless
wearing a dress or skirt)
No talking, unless asked

3. Rules for sitting at your seat
Keep your chair pulled
forward for safety
Stay in your seat unless the
teacher gives other directions
Listen when the teacher is

4. Rules for the Line and walking in
the hallways/stairs
Always stay at voice level 0.
Arms crossed so we don’t touch the wall or other
people
Stay in your spot in line
Walk on the right side of the hallway or stair well
5. Rules for Your
Pencil Box
Pencil box always stays on
your name tag
Never bang the pencil box,
or bang something on it
Be respectful to your pencil
box. It must last all year
long!
Materials that go in your
pencil box: pencils, crayons,
erasers, scissors, glue stick,
sticker contest card
6. Rules for pencils
Raise your hand if you need your
pencil sharpened.
If you find a pencil- look at the
number and give it to that
person.
Be respectful with your pencil
Never poke anyone
Never throw it
Never break it on purpose so you
can sharpen it
Never bang on anything with it
7. Rules for crayons
Crayons should stay in the crayon
box and pencil box unless we are
using them.
Only take one crayon out at a time.

8. Eraser Rules
Never break your pink eraser
Never put the eraser in your
mouth

Always keep the lid on
Never push the glue up high
Only use enough so it will glue
(don’t use globs of glue)
