This document describes a computer vision-based fire detection system that analyzes video frames captured by a camera. It uses algorithms to detect fires based on color, shape, and motion in the video frames. The system sends SMS alerts to notify emergency services if a fire is detected. It works by continuously capturing frames with a camera and applying fire detection algorithms to analyze the color, convert the images to HSV color space, and perform background subtraction to isolate moving objects. If fire is detected in the image processing, a microcontroller sends an SMS using a GSM module and also triggers an alarm with a buzzer and message on an LCD display. The system provides faster response times than traditional smoke detectors through real-time video analysis.

The system mainly consists of three parts detecting part, monitoring part and wireless sensor network part. The detecting part was devised using Simulated Sensor Program. Temperature sensor LM35 , humidity sensor DHT 11 and gas sensor MQ2 detect the occurrence of forest fire. The monitoring part is integrated with LCD display. The ZigBee protocol is utilized for the wireless sensor network communication. This paper presents an algorithm to detect the wildfire based on the changes occurring in humidity and temperature during fire and presents methodology based on ZigBee and GPRS wireless sensor network which provides low cost solution with long life time, low maintenance and good quality service as compared to the traditional method of wildfire detection. The hardware circuitry of proposed solution is based on Arduino board with ATmega328 microcontroller, temperature sensor and humidity sensor along with ZigBee and GPRS modules.

The study investigated the design optimization of these hybrid systems, focusing on understanding solar radiation patterns, identifying geographical influences on solar radiation, formulating a mathematical model for system optimization, and determining the optimal configuration of PV panels and pumped hydro storage. Through a comparative analysis approach and eight weeks of data collection, the study addressed key research questions related to solar radiation patterns and optimal system design. The findings highlighted regions with heightened solar radiation levels, showcasing substantial potential for power generation and emphasizing the system's efficiency. Optimizing system design significantly boosted power generation, promoted renewable energy utilization, and enhanced energy storage capacity. The study underscored the benefits of optimizing hybrid solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems for sustainable energy usage. Optimizing the design of solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems as examined across diverse climatic conditions in a developing country, not only enhances power generation but also improves the integration of renewable energy sources and boosts energy storage capacities, particularly beneficial for less economically prosperous regions. Additionally, the study provides valuable insights for advancing energy research in economically viable areas. Recommendations included conducting site-specific assessments, utilizing advanced modeling tools, implementing regular maintenance protocols, and enhancing communication among system components.
