This document describes a smart and low-cost surveillance system using a Raspberry Pi, USB camera, PIR sensor, and motion detection algorithm. The system is designed for highly secured areas and overcomes issues with traditional CCTV like high storage requirements and 24/7 monitoring needs. When motion is detected by the PIR sensor or camera, the system sends a short link to the user's phone to view the live video stream. It also saves images for review and uses motion detection to only store images where motion occurred, reducing storage needs. The system is intended to provide a secure, affordable, and efficient surveillance solution.
The most of the technical challenges for the society to detect and find a solution for visually impaired, with increased security and service motto towards the society helped to bring a solution which would help the visually impaired in the industries and other companies. Here we had come out with a prototype as a way of finding a solution to the visually impaired. The navigation assistant technology using RFID Tag Grid minimizes the dependency. The reader used in this system is embedded in the mobile and shoes to avoid dependency on travel. The RFID reader matches with the information specified to that ID and a voice signal is generated. Wireless RF links is placed in the Bluetooth device/ headphone for voice guidance. The proximity sensing unit is an auxiliary unit is added as a solution to address unexpected and non-mapped obstacles in the user’s path. Basically it contains ultrasonic Sensor Unit interfaced with microcontroller which is inter-linked to a vibrator that would be activated when nearing obstacles. This system is technically and economically feasible and may offer a maximum benefit to the disabled.

desktop/mobile is also included in this tutorial.

in our home. The present paper discusses about the
detection of intruders with the help of the various
devices and software.. OpenCV(open source computer
vision) is the major software that is being used in our
present work. For detecting faces we are using various
algorithms like Haar cascade, linear SVM, deep neural
network etc. The main method that we have proposed in
our work is, if any person comes in front of the pi
camera, first it will look for potential matches that we
have already stored in our system If the module finds a
match then it continues to record until any intruder
comes. If the face is not recognized then the unknown
person’s face will be captured and a snap shot will be
sent to the user’s email. The device is developed using
Raspberry Pi b+ with 1.4 GHz quad core processor,
raspberry pi camera module and a Wireless dongle to
communicate with user’s email.

Today there are many cases which are going on about women all over in the world. It was high time where women required a change. This task depends on women security where women feel ensured. This venture portrays about safety electronic system for women, worked out in the open transport vehicles such as, car, buses and auto-rickshaws as these days women are being at molested, kidnapped and badgering by the drivers. In each field there is an uncommon effect of women like games, dance, training, business, in legislative issues moreover. Women are driving in each field. The question arises that, Are the women in India are extremely secured? Fire alarms and building security systems are currently separate systems and are liable to monthly fees. Video recording for closed-circuit television (CCTV) is done locally subsequently requiring high storage space. Whenever there is a break-in, the footage records can be stolen consequently losing data. To address high data storage space, monthly premium subscriptions, cost of separate systems and data loss issues of the aforementioned systems, we design and implement a Raspberry-pi based fire and intrusion detection systems in this work. The system sends an SMS in the case of an intrusion or fire detection, and then records and uploads the surveillance videos. The system used a GSM modem for sending SMSs, a video, a PIR sensor to detect motion and a smoke or heat sensor to detect fire. The system is a low cost combined home security and fire detection Raspberry-pi system intended for home and small offices use.

intruder in a home, ATM, Industries, Bank Locker room or a
storehouse. The PIR sensors are placed on the ceiling, and the
ultrasonic sensor module consists of a transmitter and a receiver
which are placed vertically on the wall. We are going to use the
camera to capture images of the people those are coming under
the surveillance area. And we are sending these images to
authorized and related personnel via e-mail to avoid the storage
cost. This system will also help to reduce the power consumption.
This project describes about a smart intelligent security system for women. Women all over the world are facing much unethical physical harassment. This acquires a fast pace due to lack of a suitable surveillance system. Our project is a venture to resolve this problem. We are using two objects wrist band and spectacles that are used in day to day life. The system resembles a band on the wrist incorporated with pressure switch as an input which when activates shows the result Screaming alarm and tear gas mechanism are imposed for self-defensing purpose and send location and messages to the emergency contacts and also figure out the attacker using live streaming video. Tear gas mechanism and live streaming video using webcam is incorporated in the spectacles that act as a weapon of the smart technology. We really believe that this endeavor will make a difference in the women life.
A MATLAB-web interface that makes the security system completely automated and works on facial expression recognition, wherein upon sensing any trace of fear on the woman's face (image captured by a setup of 2 cameras), an alarm is set off that accesses the geo-location of the crime region and alert messages and emails are sent to the police stations nearby immediately by the server.
