- 1. Final Edit Review In this review I will be writing about the changes/improvements I have made to my final edit from my rough edit. I have made a few changes to my final edit for example I have got rid of the black and white effect I had part way through the video because I thought it looked to out of place and didn’t really work with my video because I had only used it once and if I was too keep it then I would have, have to use the effect on different parts of my video as well and it didn’t look right. Another change was made at 1 minute 20 seconds in, where Chris was running through the woods, but In my video you could see him start running from standing still and I didn’t like it because it didn’t work with the music so I edited it so he was already running when it came up to that bit. Furthermore at the start of my music video I added the song title and artist name, to give the video a more professional look, I also got a picture of a dragon off the internet and I have traced round it in Illustrator and made my own dragon head and put it at the start of my video with the name of the song. And at the end of the video I have put credits on it telling the viewers who the director, camera man, editor and actor in the video were. Also because I added the song name the song started quickly with no intro so I have used a fading effect to fade the words out and fade the start of my video in, I think this gives the video a more professional look. Overall I am happy with how my video came out, but if I was to do this assignment again I would pick a different song. For example I would pick a more ‘party’ like song so I could do a lot more different angled shots and do quick editing. Also If I was to do this again I would choose a song I like because then I would be more encouraged to do a better job of it.
