3. • This first mood board is for a healthy foods poster. I
have gathered images to generate a mood board of a
large variety, and to give me some inspiration.
• This poster idea would consist of having foods which
are healthy & information about eating healthy.
• I would focus on making the poster appeal to
teenagers as that is the audience age range that eat
unhealthily. I would use this poster to promote being
healthy & try to persuade teenagers & older people in
my audience to eat healthier and stay healthier.
• I can do this by using relatively similar colours to other
existing products, & foods which are healthy to give a
better visual representation of my chosen issue.
• I could also produce this poster in a positive, bright
manner to represent that when you eat healthy you
feel better & ‘brighter’ as a person yourself.
5. • The second mood board is for exercising & doing healthy
amounts at a time. For this, I have gathered a moodboard
filled with images which consider exercise & eating healthy.
• This poster idea would consist of having people who are
exercising such as walking, running, gym, cycling, weight
lifting, anything which is healthy for them, and I would
contain information in the poster relating to exercise and
healthy eating.
• I would focus on making the poster appeal to teenagers as
they are the majority of my audience where this type of
poster would appeal to them the best. I would also try to
make it appeal to older people in my audience, as this
would then target all of my audience.
• I can do this by using relatively similar styles and colours to
existing products, & use images which would represent my
chosen issue.
• I could also produce this poster in a positive or a negative
way. Depending how I create the poster, I could add effects
which can be positive and appeal to the audience, or
negative effects and make them understand how serious
doing this is instead of not doing anything.
7. Mind map
• I have created a mind map to help with my idea generation for my poster
idea. I have created to initial ideas within this mind map which both
branch off with questions & answers for them to get the best possible
insight on how I can create the poster.
• My first initial idea branches off to the right, and it is ‘healthy eating’. In
this idea, I would aim for my product to appeal to teenagers but also to
older adults as well. I would like bright, vibrant colours to be used so that
they stand out and relate to the topic itself. I would consider using images
of healthy foods & including information on healthy foods and diets that
people can try. I would try to keep the poster simplistic to not confuse my
audience, and I would approach the matter with a positive effect.
• My second idea branches off to the left. This idea would be for ‘exercise’. I
would make the product appeal for teenagers mainly but older adults as
well as exercise is key for everyone. I would make sure I target a mixture of
both. I would use bright colours which relate to exercising activities, and
try to keep them simplistic for my audience. I would also include
information on these activities and gyms for anybody who would like to
try these out, and I would include images which relate to both of these. I
would come at the issue with a positive approach and keeping it simple to
have a positive effect.

9. Mind map 2
• My mind map for my other ideas are to have a different approach. Instead
of doing healthy food, I can target unhealthy foods, and explain what they
do to you. I could use facts and figures to help support why they should
stop eating unhealthy foods, and change to healthy foods instead. I can
approach in a positive or negative way, negative being better as I can make
it reflect upon how bad unhealthy food is. Using dark colours within the
poster would also further support it.
• My other idea was doing a poster which consists of signs, such as things
like chest pains for example, in a road sign. This could then continue with
different symptoms and at the end tell them to improve their eating or to
change altogether. I can also approach this positively or negatively as both
ways would suit the poster depending what I include such as image wise
and symptom wise. I would also add details about the symptoms and give
them information in the poster of helpful websites which could be of use
to them.
