The Only Storytelling Guide You’ll Ever Need: How to Inspire Donors to ActionPursuant
As a fundraiser, you know how hard it can be to get someone to care about your cause.
This is why storytelling is so essential. Neuroscience and psychology confirm the powerful effect stories play in the decision-making process.
Exceptional storytelling creates emotion that ultimately spurs action.
But what makes a great story, and how can your organization craft stories that resonate with donors and inspire them to act?
“Building relationships isn’t optional in fundraising, it’s inherent in the definition of what fundraising is.”
One cannot overstate how important the concept of ‘relationship fundraising’ is to fundraisers. Since Ken Burnett coined the term in his 1992 book the idea has become one of the dominant modes of thought about fundraising. Yet there is still little agreement among practitioners about what relationship marketing actually is, what a relationship approach might mean for the way we steward our relationships with supporters and crucially, whether it even works.
We’re proud to have partnered with world renowned fundraising expert Dr Adrian Sargeant, technology provider Bloomerang and Rogare, a world-renowned think tank for fundraising, to sponsor groundbreaking research by Dr Adrian Sargeant, Jen Shang and Rogare’s director Ian MacQuillin.
“Loverizing” Your Donors: The Lucrative Difference a Few Well-Chosen Words Wi...Pursuant
Are you only raising five to fifteen percent of what you could because of weak donor communications? That’s what nationally-recognized author and our special guest for this webinar, Tom Ahern, claims.
“Loverizing” is a phrase Tom uses to describe how nonprofits can make any appeal irresistibly “donor-centered.” It’s the key to raising lots more money and retaining donors longer.
How do you create a year-end campaign that stands out from every other organization soliciting donors at the same time?
That’s the question we’ve set out to help you answer in this webinar. We unpack some of the most valuable strategies for engaging and cultivating donors at year-end.
This webinar will help you to discover how you can leverage innovative ideas and proven best practices we’ve learned at Pursuant to create an effective year-end campaign.
Accelerate Your Acquisition: How to Rise Above the Noise and Activate the Don...Pursuant
As a fundraiser, you know the answer to the question, “Do we have enough donors?” is always the same thing: No.
We live in a world that is noisier than ever. The average person sees more than 3,000 ads per day. The cost of getting someone’s attention has never been higher.
Added to the competition for minds and dollars is the reality that average donor attrition hovers at 55%.
How can you beat the numbers and implement a strategy that will not only attract supporters to your cause, but keep them coming back year after year?
Exceed Your Year-End Goals By Working Smarter, Not HarderPursuant
Year-end giving is the most critical time of the year for fundraisers. How can you make the most of calendar year-end and earn your donors' attention when so many other organizations are jockeying for a chance to shine? These proven tips and tricks will help you finish the year strong.
The Nuts and Bolts of Relationship FundraisingPursuant
You can dramatically impact your year-over-year results just by shifting the way you approach and nurture relationships with donors. Pursuant fundraising experts Rebecca Segovia and Curt Swindoll unpack the proven strategies that drive donor commitment and encourage them to upgrade their giving.
These proven tips and tricks will help you improve your donor retention rates. Stop spending your precious resources acquiring new donors just to replace those being lost.
