Multichannel Marketing for the Small NonprofitJulia Campbell
Social and Web 2.0 technologies have changed not just how we market and promote our programs and services, but also how we manage and lead our organizations, and how we build communities and create movements. Understanding the multichannel landscape is more important than ever before, as the pace of change is growing exponentially.
Email communications, social media, and mobile are important, but how will they help your nonprofit and the issues you work on every day? Most importantly, how the heck do you integrate and utilize these tools successfully without losing your mind?
This workshop will help you answer these questions, specifically with the small nonprofit in mind, and will guide you through the planning and implementation of online multichannel strategies that will spark advocacy, raise money and promote deeper community engagement in order to achieve social change in real time.
How to Mobilize Supporters to Fundraise for YouJulia Campbell
The success of your fundraising campaign hinges on effective methods of sharing. Without actively telling your supporters to go to your campaign page and take an action, your campaign will not generate the traffic, donations, or fundraising that you need to be successful.
You’re in luck. GoFundMe Charity provides you with the tools to help you be successful in getting the word out, including inviting team members, social sharing, email customization, and a mobile-friendly platform for sharing on-the-go. In this webinar, you'll learn tactics to spread the word and mobilize your supporters to not only make a donation, but to fundraise for you!
What you’ll learn:
Best practices for recruiting fundraisers for your campaign;
How to invite team members directly from your GoFundMe Charity campaign;
How to share on social media to reach new audiences and expand your fundraiser base;
How to communicate with and support your fundraisers during the campaign.

Up the Ratios Bylaws - a Comprehensive Process of Our Organizationuptheratios
Up the Ratios is a non-profit organization dedicated to bridging the gap in STEM education for underprivileged students by providing free, high-quality learning opportunities in robotics and other STEM fields. Our mission is to empower the next generation of innovators, thinkers, and problem-solvers by offering a range of educational programs that foster curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.
At Up the Ratios, we believe that every student, regardless of their socio-economic background, should have access to the tools and knowledge needed to succeed in today's technology-driven world. To achieve this, we host a variety of free classes, workshops, summer camps, and live lectures tailored to students from underserved communities. Our programs are designed to be engaging and hands-on, allowing students to explore the exciting world of robotics and STEM through practical, real-world applications.
Our free classes cover fundamental concepts in robotics, coding, and engineering, providing students with a strong foundation in these critical areas. Through our interactive workshops, students can dive deeper into specific topics, working on projects that challenge them to apply what they've learned and think creatively. Our summer camps offer an immersive experience where students can collaborate on larger projects, develop their teamwork skills, and gain confidence in their abilities.
In addition to our local programs, Up the Ratios is committed to making a global impact. We take donations of new and gently used robotics parts, which we then distribute to students and educational institutions in other countries. These donations help ensure that young learners worldwide have the resources they need to explore and excel in STEM fields. By supporting education in this way, we aim to nurture a global community of future leaders and innovators.
Our live lectures feature guest speakers from various STEM disciplines, including engineers, scientists, and industry professionals who share their knowledge and experiences with our students. These lectures provide valuable insights into potential career paths and inspire students to pursue their passions in STEM.
Up the Ratios relies on the generosity of donors and volunteers to continue our work. Contributions of time, expertise, and financial support are crucial to sustaining our programs and expanding our reach. Whether you're an individual passionate about education, a professional in the STEM field, or a company looking to give back to the community, there are many ways to get involved and make a difference.
We are proud of the positive impact we've had on the lives of countless students, many of whom have gone on to pursue higher education and careers in STEM. By providing these young minds with the tools and opportunities they need to succeed, we are not only changing their futures but also contributing to the advancement of technology and innovation on a broader scale.
Russian anarchist and anti-war movement in the third year of full-scale warAntti Rautiainen
Anarchist group ANA Regensburg hosted my online-presentation on 16th of May 2024, in which I discussed tactics of anti-war activism in Russia, and reasons why the anti-war movement has not been able to make an impact to change the course of events yet. Cases of anarchists repressed for anti-war activities are presented, as well as strategies of support for political prisoners, and modest successes in supporting their struggles.

The Quintessential Crowdfunding Guide for Nonprofits

of a Successful Crowdfunding Campaign

Captivating story
Telling your organization’s story in a compelling and inspiring
way is essential to a successful crowdfunding campaign. Start
with a catchy title and then make sure people know who you
are, what you are doing, and why it is important, as well as the
role they can play in helping you achieve your mission.
Punctuate with Powerful Images & Videos
Never underestimate the power of adding a visual component to your campaign,
which will allow donors to see the tangible impact of your work and their
donations and transform your campaign from dollar signs on a screen to real
lives being changed.
Proffer a Prominent Website Display
Don't let prime promotional space go unused keeping your
crowdfunding campaign separate from your nonprofit's usual
website. Create a cohesive campaign that brings every outlet
you use to connect with your supporters together to reach a
greater number of people and successfully reach your goal.
Gain Backing from Family & Friends
Utilize the support of friends and family as you launch your
campaign because people will be more likely to support your
campaign if you already have a following.
Use an Event to Turbocharge Campaign
There is nothing that quite compares to face-to-face interaction, so hosting an
event in conjunction with your crowdfunding campaign is an effective way to
boost its success. Whether you host an event to kick off your campaign,
update or reward supporters along the way, or celebrate once you've achieved
your goal, it will create a connection with donors that will often build loyalty
that will last far longer than just your crowdfunding campaign.
Garner News Coverage
Fundraising campaigns that receive news cover raise two to three
times more than those that aren't, so why not try to get yours on
the front page? But remember, it is important to reach out to as
many news outlets as possible and focus on how your campaign is
relevant to the audience when pitching your story.
Delight Donors with Rewards & Appreciation
Whether it is a simple shout out on social media, a
handwritten note in the mail, or a fun prize offered to the
top donors, you should always thank your donors for their
involvement. People want to know that their generosity
has not gone unnoticed and will be much more likely to
give in the future when you make them feel appreciated.
Build a Strong Social Media Presence
Social media is your best friend when crowdfunding and
should be utilized before, during, and after a campaign to
maximize your reach. While you don't want to bombard your
followers, tweeting a few times a day and posting to Facebook a
few times a week will significantly boost your campaign's visibility.
